Lively young community. You can tell they cut a few corners on construction at the end, but overall a great place the live. Had a rough move in experience dealing with the office and setting up simple things like cable and power, but overall a great time since and happy moved here!

After living in a townhouse on the southwest part of town, I moved into the 2nd building of the 927 West Morgan complex. I was immediately impressed with how easy it was to contact and deal with the leasing office. They were accommodating, informative and very helpful with the move-in process. Fast forward 5 months. I am SO happy I chose this complex. Highlights: ~ Location!! 1 mile walk to downtown, or 5 min cab ride...amazing! Also, close to Cameron Village, which is fantastic. ~So many young professionals! New to NC, this was a big seller. I am constantly meeting new people, most of which are super friendly, active and fun. ~Garage parking. I love having my car protected in a locked garage. ~Trash pickup. Almost every evening, you can put your trash right outside your apartment, and maintenance will pick it up. Convenience at its finest, if you ask me! ~POOL. Nothing too fancy, but it is so nice to have a pool right in the complex to cool off in on super hot days, lay out, and meet people. (However, the way the sun hits the pool, there are only a few hours in the day that are prime tanning times) ~Grills. The complex has grills and tools for you to use. I've used the grills several times, and love being out in the courtyard, grilling. Everyone is very good about sharing the grills, too, and I've never had a problem with using one. ~Key "fob". Because of the key fob entry, I feel incredibly safe in this complex. ~Maintenance. If there is every an issue, they are really good at fixing it and doing so quickly. Our shower rod bent down, and it was soon after we contacted the office, that maintenance was in our apartment fixing the curtain rod. Very efficient and friendly! Lowlights: ~Bike storage. There is a bike rack in the garage in building 1, but not in building 2. Not terrible, just less convenient. ~Room/closet size. I am in a triple, and while I do fit just fine in my bedroom and closet, it would be a little more comfortable if it was bigger. ~Leasing office. While I have had good interactions with the office, I have also had a few mistakes. A rent check was lost, and a mysterious balance was placed on our bill. They've been easy to work with, however, in sorting these issues out! ~Since building 1 is the main building, most of the social events are held there. It is not far or anything, but it ends up feeling like two different complexes, rather than one complex. Therefore, I sometimes feel like building 2 misses out on a few things. Overall, the highlights outweigh the lowlights. I love this complex and would highly recommend it to any young professional in the area!

Overall I have been very please with my experience at 927 West Morgan. I love the location, the friends I have met, and the pool. For those who are interested in a lively, young, and fun place to live I would recommend 927 West Morgan. The only downsides are the occasional night time noise from City Limits; the cheap cabinetry, "wood" floors, and doors in the apartments; and the surplus of cars on Tryon Hill Drive.

I've lived at 927 for a year and just renewed my lease. In a few words, this place fits the bill for a good Raleigh apartment. Why? A 20+ minute walk downtown, ample parking, solid amenities (pool with chairs & gas grills, gyms with everything, in-unit washer/dryer), brand-new units and possibly the best pizza in the area, Trophy, just 5 minutes away...need I say more? Okay, I will. Management has been respectful and reasonable, maintenance is quick and does a good job, the apartments are pristine (you could maybe say, somewhat quickly assembled due to the likely time crunch they had upon opening) and you might even meet some nice people at the pool or walking their dogs. I couldn't imagine how different my experience in Raleigh would have been, should I have chosen to save a few bucks per month and lived in dumps like the Boylan and Cameron Court apartments a block away seem to be. While 927 is not what I would deem cheap, it's also not expensive and your money goes a long way with cleanliness, convenience and more style than I've ever had. If you are completely averse to train or bar noise, be warned that oft-used tracks are nearby, and that City Limits Saloon can get a little noisy into the wee hours of the morning. I don't feel like these are anything near deal-breakers, except for only the lightest sleepers out there. But then shouldn't you just be living in the woods anyway, and not a 5 minute drive outside of an up-and-coming city?

This place is annoying. The fire alarms go off randomly a lot and is terrible for people and pets staying here! It's expensive and the admin don't treat people with respect. You need your keys to buzz yourself in but at least half the pads don't work most of the time and you must run around the whole building to find a door to let you in. You can hear your neighbors. Wouldn't recommend this apt.

Hey hey- so I don't normally write reviews but I think this place deserves one. I've lived in many apartment complexes over the last 6 years and 927 West Morgan is by far my favorite. Everything in it works! The location is awesome; it's right next to a country bar and a comedy club. Who doesn't love comedy?! The look of the complex itself isn't bad- colorful without being tacky or clownish and it's only a 5-10 minute walk to anywhere important. My 1 bedroom apartment is roomy, (which says a lot because I own a ton of crap, like seriously, a ton) and I absolutely love my balcony! It's mostly mid-twenties & early thirties living here so occasionally you'll hear a party from the hallway or a group talking as they pass by your door. But the hallway is literally the only place you can hear noise from inside the apartment so it's not bad. Well that's a lie- last week I'm pretty sure the person above me fell; though I can't be sure since I haven't heard anything since (not sure if that's a good or bad thing). Anyway, worst thing about my experience here so far? Don't.Eat.The.Chinese.Food.Around.The.Corner. It's the worst! Ahh who am I kidding? I'll order again from them tomorrow...

I have lived at 927 West Morgan since July. Overall I have been pretty happy. I work downtown so the location is great. There are 2 gyms but the 2nd gym will have most of the equipment and is not yet open.
