When moving into Country Estates Townhome
I have met some of my neighbors and they seem very nice. My next door neighbor has moved out. I continue getting settled in. I really love my garage for my car and really love the patio in the back. Thank you so much for your hostility. Alejandra continue your very valuable service. I again appreciate it. And I hope I do not bother you too much. God Bless

Possible renter
My son and I just toured a 2 bedroom, looking for a 3 bedroom to open up. The staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. She did tell us about a few things that we'd need to look out for. The apartment itself was clean and seemed well cared for. The community seemed like a comfortable place to live. We would definitely like to take a look at a 3 bedroom if one opens up before our needed move in date of June 1st.

Grate place to live
The property manager has been outstanding in every aspect of her job. She is always professional, responsive, and truly dedicated to making sure every tenant feels supported and cared for. Whenever a concern comes up, she handles it quickly and with genuine attention to detail. She treats everyone with respect and kindness, and it’s clear that she takes pride in keeping the property well?maintained and running smoothly. Her communication is excellent, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure tenants feel heard and valued. I am extremely grateful for all the hard work she puts in every day—she is truly exceptional at what she does.

Broken promise
A year ago I moved into my unit with the PROMISE that the leak in the basement would be fixed. Here we are a year later and the PROMISE still have not been honored. I am a reasonable man and I understand that emergencies occur,, but as a paying tenant a year with the same issue is beyond reasonable to me.

You could not pay me a million dollars weekly to live here! Worst experience of my life. This place has a great potential but needs A LOT of work. I moved in after freshly having a baby July 28th was SUPPOSED to move in August 1st. I did NOT physically live here until September 13th due to no air. Fast forward there is a shower in the master bedroom. If you turn the shower on the kitchen floods. Maintenance has been out 20+ times for the SAME issue. All they do is cut a hole in the ceiling and repatch the whole. I have been told the piping runs through one line. DISGUSTING RIGHT?! Fast forward….. the toilet in the master bedroom NEVER worked. Water would never stay in the bowl. I called in about this issue min of 10 times. They snake it same issue. If you flush the toilet it comes out the shower. Then there were WORMS in the toilet!! They weren’t able to tell me why but “sewer worms coming through the pipping” maintenance called Rotor rooter who came snaked the toilet flooded the shower with POOP. Maintenance was supposed to have a cleaning person to come clean the shower. NOBODY EVER CAME. I have plenty of pictures and videos that if it would allow me to post I would. I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STARS!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT THIS COMPLEX. If I could leave negative stars I would. The reviews from years ago are accurate. I desperately wish I never came to this HORRIBLY owned company. They don’t do repairs, they do not answer the phone for any reason. I have left voicemail after voicemail for years and they refuse to call back. The grass is not maintained and my deck (along with so many of my neighbors) is falling apart but is not repaired. I’ve been trying to move out and the office will not return my calls to drop off my keys and despite repeated attempts to get in contact, they continue to avoid me. When I first moved in, the apartment wasn’t professionally cleaned and my dog contracted fleas due to the horrible infestation in my apartment. I was told that my carpet would be replaced and to not worry about the stains or tears - 2.5 years later and my carpet has never been replaced. I didn’t believe every bad review I read about Country Estates and I wish I had trusted all of the negative experiences that other people have had.

This is not a place you want to live. The staff is forever changing so you never know who you're talking to and nothing ever gets done because it never gets passed along to the next staff member. Every single time you walk into the Office there's new different people running the place. Maintenance is nowhere to be found I sat for days waiting for someone to fix the many sewage & plumbing problems. Lived here for two years and have never experienced such bad maintenance and desk help. I honestly feel trapped in my lease. I want to leave very badly.

They don't fix anything. They don't seem to care even taking with them on the phone. They show no leniency and like I said the frankly don't care. As soon as my lease is up I'm moving that'll be a day to celebrate! Highly don't recommend.

Consider homelessness before moving here. The office and maintenance are absolutely terrible! My ac has been out for a month and the office keeps giving us the runaround. I've had more maintenance requests in the last year than I can possible count. Issues are NEVER fixed in a timely manner.

RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! If you don't, you'll regret it. Actually, read reviews from any of the apartments owned by Monarch Investments and you'll pretty much find the same thing. From the top on down they do not care about their residents one bit. This place is old, outdated and needs major renovations. The foundations are falling apart so the mice come in all over the place. The sinks and bathtubs are so old the sealer has worn off the porcelin so they get stains, that you'll be charged for. The carpet was old 10 yrs ago but they won't change it. At night it's like the projects. Run from this place, please.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Melanie will harass you. She is rude. The maintenance men could care less about the property little own yours. I have never once in 5 years been able to use or access all of my amenities at the same time. Birds bats mice you name the rodent it's been in my home with little to no help from maintenance. Foundation is sinking all over the complex. They get a commission of of new leases so they will do what it takes to get you in then raise your rent or make you so uncomfortable that you have to leave. Then they will discount your home and lease to the next person for the commission check

We lived here for over 2 years before deciding to break our lease (for a fee of $2030). At first, great place. At the end, absolutely terrible. 3 months of dealing with mice our new neighbor brought in. The most management did was drop off mouse traps and rat poison. We found at least one mouse a day. Our neighbors were robbed at gunpoint in front of our place AND the townhome 3 doors down was broken into. Talked with Melanie and she didnt care. There was nothing more they would do. So we broke our lease, moved out in October. February rolls around, we get notified from collections for missing payment towards the lease break fee. They had deposited our checks so why were we sent to collections?.Talked with Melanie again, basically something messed up in the computer system and sent everyone to collections. So why didn't they notify previous tenants? Because they were "too busy". The mistake happened Feb 6, we were notified by collections Feb 20. I had to call the office to find out what was going on. DO NOT LIVE HERE. You will eventually run into issues, even if the place seems great at first. If there are issues, you're SOL. They dont care, it doesn't affect them.

I lived here for 6 years and by the time I left it was a complete dump! Let me start by saying that Country Estates will not respond to your maintenance requests. We had a leak in the ceiling from the upstairs bathtub for 3 years they never fixed it. When we first moved in the locks on the door and windows were broken. They did not respond and I paid a locksmith out of pocket to fix the deadbolt. It took them two years (no kidding) to fix the lock on the window. I shoved a stick in there to keep thieves out. I requested screens for the windows and patio door. That took an additional 8 months to fix. Bottom line they are cheap and they don't care about the conditions that you're living in. On to the reason we moved. We discovered that we had mice in July 2018. Called them nothing... went to the office... nothing. We were trapping 4 -5 mice weekly. It was disgusting. I stopped cooking in my kitchen and we pretty much lived upstairs away from the smell of mice feces and urine. This went on until October 2018. They did nothing even when I sent a certified letter. Nothing. I moved out for the sake of my families health they just sent me an enormous bill that I am taking to an attorney. I'm suing for my rent back. Did I mention that we were stellar tenants. Never late on rent, no complaints just hardworking people. Country estates is not a place to move your family. And due to their negative reviews they seem to be moving in anybody willing to live in their run down apartment homes. These folks look like section 8 recipients. We put up with a lot cause the rent was cheap. The mice were too much and they invaded multiple units. These townhomes are disgusting be warned. Move on. Don't be fooled by the nice office and the one "staged" apartment home they show every prospective tenant.

RUN FAR AWAY!!! Rudest staff & management I've ever dealt with. Extremely unprofessional, Emily is a joke she's the "regional" manager. They DO NOT care about their current residents, maintence of townhomes or potential clients. Moving into the townhome the carpets were disgusting since we have two kids we asked Country Estates if they would replace the carpets, the nails were sticking up and it was a hazard along with the stains and bad smell. Instead of fixing it they had someone come out and stretch the carpet which only covered the nails for about a month. We continued to complain and nothing was done. We were faithful on our rent payments and were an extremely quiet family, despite this any maintence issue that came up we were always overlooked. & then treated like garbage when we went to switch units. They will not care about you after they receive your money. Once they have you locked in a contract all customer service is dropped. And if God Forbid Emily has to do her job she will give you an attitude and threaten you. It's truly unbelievable that she still is employed here. If I could get her higher ups information that would be greatly appreciated.

Country Estates was an ok place to live for awhile...however, in 2017, I counted 4 different changes in managers. Melanie is pure evil. Sure, on lease signing day she is going to present herself proffesionally, but after that you are DOOMED! First, you can expect to get nickel and dimed to death. If your empty trash can is still at the curb the day after pickup you'll be charged $25. If there is trash or debris around your property (doesn't matter if it didn't come from you) $25. Your basement WILL flood, they all do. Cheap paint will crack, flake and peel off the wood. The hollow core doors have been repaired multiple times and will come apart-they'll get you for a door replacement at move out and just repair it again. The pan drawer to the stove was from another that didn't fit on the rails and dropped. The bottom rack to the dishwasher was from another and didn't fit, which rendered the soap drawer unable to open and release detergent. Toilet fixture repairs were shoddy causing your toilet to run incessantly. They refuse money orders for rent payment making you dependant on getting to a bank to handle rent. If you work during banking hours that will interfere with your ability to pay-late fee is $75. They charge a $10 fee to pay online or demand a cashier's check-also $10. Due to financial issues, I downgraded from a 3 bed to a 2 bed after 1 year. That meant we had to switch utilities (MUD and OPPD), but can't have two accounts and they use that to charge you a fee (in addition to the cost itself) for the duration needed to change units, was $35 dollars each. I tried to negotiate to pay 1/2 of that ($35), they agreed and then rescinded. I got them to agree again and they tried to charge me twice. They admitted to losing the payment, but that didn't stop them from demanding it with threats of eviction and harassment. Originally, our bank desired us to initiate a stop payment $31. After the bank manager had a conversation with them my bank agreed to waive the fee. They felt pity for what I had to deal with. My bank is Wells Fargo, they absolutely hate to waive fees. The roads throughout the complex are in complete disrepair. The driveway of my 3 bed unit had chunks coming out of it. The garage doors on both units were hard to open and close and the locks didn't work. The other doors to both units blew open with heavy gusts of wind despite being locked. Finally, on the opposite side of Sahler 4 units caught fire and have not been replaced. On 106th Ave another unit burned down, it was 2 units away from ours. The residents had just moved in and the lady had to jump out of the 2nd floor window to survive. She broke an arm and a leg. That's what living here is likely to cost you-LITERALLY.

Staff are very friendly and understanding. However, there is a horrible bug problem. I have discovered bugs that I did not even knew existed. The place has a horrible musty smell that I have yet to get rid of. Upon moving in nothing was updated from the last tenants. The vinyl flooring is falling apart, appliances are old and breaking down, bathroom shower heads and faucets are rusting and full of scum. the list goes on and on. Overall very disappointed for the price we pay. Would not recommend and I can't wait to get out. Ps. the street lights don't even come on some nights, and the neighborhood is not the best.

If Country Estates Townhomes is on your list as a potential place to live ... CROSS THEM OFF THE LIST IMMEDIATELY!!! The townhome we were going to rent had a horrendous smell. After signing the lease on a Friday, we immediately went to the townhome to put Glade Plugins in every room, inserted dryer sheets in the vents, and even sprinkled carpet fresh on the carpet. The next day, Saturday, after loading the U-Haul truck for a good portion of the day, we returned to the townhome to find that the place still had the horrendous smell. In spite of the smell, we still had our movers begin to unload the U-Haul. Upon taking some boxes down to the basement, a snake was seen in the corner of the basement. The snake then disappeared back into the wall. A snake is living in the walls. Needless to say, this was very upsetting. We called the Emergency number and left a message about the snake. The guy who returned the phone call was very rude and arrogant. He said that a snake was not an emergency and said to look over the lease so that I would know what is considered to be an emergency. We never received a copy of the lease!!! We immediately started loading the U-Haul truck with all of the items we had put in the townhome. No way were we going to live under these conditions. We got out of our signed lease, and got our money back.

Hi, current resident here. So, my over all experience has been, honestly a little mixed, but its nothing like, a big issue. Theres been some small things, but unlike my previous apartment experiences, the office gals go above and beyond to try and help, truely they do. Like today, as i write this review, the door just for some reason wont close, but i had to call for maintenance again after i missed him, and he came right back and he was super nice about it. Other things as well, when we moved in there was a whole bunch of like, little stuff that was wrong with the house, nothing unliveable but just minor things and, they took care of it. While it may not have been perfect from the start, thats what they try and strive for, sincerely i feel that they have the best interest for the renter in heart. Now, when we went to go first look at the property, we had spent a while looking over about 3 months, and tried several places, we needed a large liveable space because we have some unique circumstances, medium/large dog, 3 adults and 2 kids, 1 a teenager and 1 a preteen, and not the best credit score between the 3 of us but, they worked with us, the deposit wasnt outrageous for what we wanted, we had a tight schedule to work with, being having to manage 3 different jobs, but they did. They managed it they worked with us and our crazy tight schedule and they communicated fantastically, kept us up to date with what was going on, made sure we knew all the specifics, ya know, fine print kind of stuff, and i mean when we got the call we got it, it was the most amazing day ive had in a while. It was just fantastic. So to go on, the real issues we ran into were like, there was a small hole in the garage, the door wasnt all the way attached in one spot, which was an easy fix nothing serious. One of the vents in the bathroom was going bad and the other was missing a few screws, and the front door wouldnt close save for a notable amount of force applied to do so. Thats just like, day 1 stuff. Other things were, the box key wasnt working, they fixed it. And then for some reason i think they forgot to give us the gym key, but lemmy stress this, everything got fixed, asap. Moving on i think the only complaint i have, is that the patio is shared, but really its less of a 'oh no i have to share!' and more of a 'i wish it was bigger so i had my own little space.' kind of thing, but if i ask they'll put up a fence (have to pay $$) and i just think thats amazing. So over all, pros and cons. Pros: Tons of space inside and outside the home. Staff that will be forward, and helpful as much as they can. Medium+ dogs allowed. Open on Saturdays. Big pool. Super helpful maintenance men. Fantastic area. Place for your kids to be outside and it be ok. There are tons of families here. Cons: House might not always be 100% on move in. Some very mild noise pollution from the highway. A bit out of the way(some people might like that) If you work more towards <72nd street it might be a bit of a drive some days.

If you want a place where thieves break in, roaches run wild, and the cabinets and doors are complete crap then these are the place for you! The Office staff is the absolute worst, they treat the residents horribly! The previous manager tried to force her way into my apartment because my rent was late, it was only the tenth of the month!! and why the hell would you need to do that anyway? She claimed it was so she could see if there were moving boxes in my unit, but she would still have to go through the courts to evict so what sense did that make!!!??? Now there is yet another new manager and this one is the nastiest one yet, complete and utterly unprofessional (where do they find these people?) The whole experience here has been absolutely horrible.

This is the worst rental experience, was without air condition the first week on Sumer with 1 month baby and 2 kids under 18 months . Was having a terrible severe rash on my body. I cannot wait to leave at the end of my lease. They don't care, air is coming in the house through the doors and windows making my bills high . I called nothing was fixed. Dirty carpet the first day. Manager refuse to provide me with the corporate contact. I may have city of Omaha stop by to check the house.

I lived at Country Town home estates for 2 years and I wish there something good I could say. My car was broken in too twice my van was broken it to. I go to the office to have something fixed to out there's a new management, I can say while living there we had at least 6 mangers, which you do not get told about. We had issues with to toliet running for days And I mean days!!!! Actual we moved out went back to clean the place and the toilet was still running!! We ask to have the fluck to the fire place Nextel never happened. Basement flooded ever time it rained. Ask to have carpets cleaned was told yea we can do that never happened ask for new blinds in the kitchen due to the virtical blinds break easy when you open them, again was told yea we can do that never happened. And the least goes on.. And I could keep going. The good thing about this place is they leave you alone. I do hope and pray they get a manager that will stay with them for more they 6 months. Do to I know some great families who still live there. Because the rent is cheap with added water, and garbage., make sure you put your car in the grage!!
