I can't understand the types of characters that are begining to live in Ocean Oark Villlage . They are loud, rude & Drive through like it's a race way. Police do nothing. Noise ordinance is 10pm. Garbage gets thrown where ever & smells. ------ or luxury? Neither.

    Bad Apartment, Worse Management

    Despite providing my written notice to vacate well in advance and in accordance with my lease, management refused to honor it unless I completed their own proprietary form — a requirement that does not exist in the lease and appears to be inconsistent with State law. When I raised legitimate safety concerns about a prior maintenance incident (in which my home was messed up by maintenance, the sliding door was left open for hours, and photographs were taken inside my home without permission), those concerns were dismissed. Furthermore, those photographs were never released to me. If you enjoy your privacy being invaded and your rights potentially violated, this is exactly where you want to stay. In my opinion, communication from management was often dismissive, combative, and unprofessional. At one point, the property manager made an inappropriate personal judgment about me that had no basis in fact and no relevance to the issue at hand. In my experience, this office does not prioritize resident safety, privacy, or respectful treatment. If you are considering living here, I would strongly recommend you document every interaction and carefully review your lease before agreeing to any additional demands from management.

      Worse place ever

      This is the absolute WORSE PLACE TO LIVE EVER THE MANAGER MISS ----- she adds mystery charges to your account and then when questioned her only response is, she said what she said and that it, its always what she says and she thinks she is God him self. She is rude and disrespectful, her boss ------ is the worse because she is a fake and phoney lier she smiles in your face and tells you what you want to hear. Living at OPV WAS THE WORSE DECISION OF MY LIFE, living there is like living on concentration camp is always do what I say and thats it. They never want to accept that they make mistakes. They have people -------------- but they had good credit so they were allowed to move In, so what do that tell you as long as your credit is good you can be a rapist, a murder whatever as long as your credit is good your accepted. How scary is that especially when you have children. They have buildings 1,5,and 11 to be exact that has all kinds of illegals and crack heads and where there are crack heads there are drugs. The people thats giving them a 5 star review must be paid off or get discounted rent because those reviews are just as fake as the people posting them. I would not recommend a Dog to live at OPV !! Run far away from these people there is NOTHING HOOD ABOUT THEM OR THE COMPLEX!!

        Unprofessional management

        There are no amenities at OPV. They are like a vacuum sucking up the money and letting out nothing. We so- called valued residents get nothing for our rent. Everything is to benefit and protect them. I guess we should be happy to have a roof over our heads if it doesn't leak. The reviews they receive are so out dated. They do not want the truth to be known.

            Back in 2018 when my family and was looking to relocate Ocean park village came up in my search many times, so I thought this was the place for me and my family BOY WAS I WRONG, this is THE WORSE OF THE WORSE!!!! The people here will HARASS YOU OVER A PARKING SPOT SOME EVEN THREATENED TO DO THINGS TO YOUR CAR. The MAINTENANCE PEOPLE SUCK THEY NEVER FIND ANYTHING WRONG. WE ARE CONSTANTLY BEING WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT DUE TO A BROKEN FURNACE THAT OPV REFUSES TO FIX. MY 6YEAR OLD AUTISTIC DAUGHTER IS NOW SCARED TO SLEEP IN HER ROOM BECAUSE OF THIS. We have complained many many times and we even sent video of the noises but OF COURSE THE PEOPLE WE PAY OUR RENT TO SAYS THEY CANT HERE IT.? They PAY PEOPLE OFF TO SAY WE ARE WRONG, their own workers are scared to report the truth because they may loose their jobs.. PLEASE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A DYING DOG. ALL THESE PEOPLE CARE BOUT IS RECIEVING THEIR RENT MONEY THE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WE ARE HAVING.. I HOPE THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HEAR MY PLEAS.               We are sorry to hear of your concerns. Parking in our community parking lots is on a first come - first serve basis and we do not allow "saving" spaces. When our on-site maintenance team did not find anything wrong with your heating system, we had our heating and air conditioning contractor inspect the system, and he found it to be functioning efficiently with no problems.               I am a fairly new resident, but not for long. I was pleased in the beginning. And I know parking can be difficult, but how many cars and commercial vehicles are truly registered. Can't the commercial vehicles park on the outskirts. Is management paying attention, it's getting crazy. Only certain people can have their own parking spot. And I didn't know this was a more dog-friendly environment than a child-friendly environment. As we are supposed to be "valued residents." I see nothing offered but a handout for rent. Management should there have been a second exit (Back door, maybe)? Just a thought. Is it possible to make a clearer way to locate this area, street sign, building numbers/letters larger?

In our community, we do not offer designated parking spots for residents; the only exception is handicapped parking spaces as required by local law. We do not allow over-sized commercial vehicles to park in the parking lots. We will be looking into this matter as soon as possible.                 Bring back Laurie the property manager!!!!!! She was one of the reasons why I rented a unit. She made me feel comfortable and safe. The newer crew nothing like management a few years ago. I do have to say the grounds are looking really nice. The place has cleaned up on the outside not so much in the inside.

                  First of all the office people are no serious they only nice when you moving in after that good luck when you have a problem apt14a has given us the worse experience in living in this apartment we have called maintenance for the same bathroom and kitchen sink problems more than 6 times in less than a year here however the people on apt14b will not let us sleep or use the balcony loud noise every blessed day from whatever equipment they have up there and running around we have reported to Lisa serval times with videos of the noise in our apartment as late as 2am my daughter can’t even sleep because of the noise this whole summer we have not been able to use the balcony because we got water poured on us twice and even dog pissing on our table from up there as if that’s not enough we called for the bathtub broken causing leaks and floor getting wet a maintenance guy came and started working told my girlfriend we couldn’t use the bathroom for the next 24 hours which was Friday morning and he even forgot he was working on something on Monday as he told us the recent renovations going on in building 1 is causing a lot of problem with insects and smells we even had a frog came in our apartment I have pictures of it all due to contractors leaving the main gate open even at night when they are done working I can go on with a lot of problems I didn’t want to write this review but my girl and I have reported to the office so many times that we think they don’t value there tenants I work really early in the morning from 3am sometime to 10:30pm before coming home the least thing I want to deal with is noise and complains I hope this problems can get rectified as soon as possible thanks

Our maintenance supervisor immediately responded to your noise concerns and did not find equipment of any kind that could be responsible for the noise you described and recorded.                   New to the area, maybe I don't understand, there was a problem about putting something on the property, but the tennant was told they don't own the property so they couldn't, however as I was leaving this morning there was a motorcycle parked on the sidewalk outside an apt. Is this part of the complex property owned by OPV? What's good for one should be for other. I hate to think there is prejudice difference in this complex community

                  Lived here in 2018-2019. Raised the rent $100/month and we choose not to renew our lease. Upon moving out they sent us a print out stating we owed them $2600 to replace the carpet in our townhouse and $1425 because our move out notice was ONE day late! They kept our security deposit, but I absolutely refused to pay additional for the carpet asked for receipts and proof of carpet change, and never heard from Ocean Park Village again. Take pics and vids when you move in, they will try to get you upon move out!!

                    I live in apartment 19A building 1. I had a really hard time living there, but I was no fussy are rude I gave them time to fix the problems. Stacey the accused me, when they other apartments waste water was leaking in my bathroom. She accused me of lying. Now I move out and they refused to give me back my deposit. I never owe on my rent, not in the almost 2 years I was there. I keep waiting on their calls but no one ever gets back to me

                        The Staff at Ocean Park is superb. They are friendly and attentive. They take care of questions and concerns in a timely and efficient manner. I am grateful to have met every one of them. My apartment is lovely and the people who live here are kind and considerate to one another. We are a diverse and respectful community. We have a gym, laundry facilities, tennis courts, nature trails, and we are located close to parks, restaurants and shopping centers.

                          Relatively quiet, safe . jobs are within miles, very accessible. However when it comes to maintenance and appearance of rooms , it s a D, not F. I called so many times due to some issues, certainly they come and after, nothing,I ll be back, this is their password, and you will never see them. Some bedbugs and the funny things, the residents were charged an additional fee of 75 dollars for each visit, Customers skills now C minus.

                            I love this community because everyone I speak to is very friendly and respectful. I moved here with my family about a year ago and it was a great choice! Stacey and the staff here go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and are happy to help with any issue. I haven't had any problems as I don't expect any, it's a wonderful place to live, very quiet. I'm also excited about the upcoming additions like the door intercom system and new hallways. All thumbs up !

                              To start off with something kind, I will say that my neighbors are generally pleasant and respectful. However, everything else about living in the complex is awful. The maintenance staff does not fix anything. Getting them to even show up is nearly impossible. When our front door was painted, the gentleman broke our door by removing the seal. The electrical sockets are loose and unsafe. The tile flooring is poorly installed and comes up. We have to replace our own dirty A/C filters. The cabinets are cheap and collapse. The appliances do not work properly. I could go on and on. Then, you add to this STEEP yearly rent increases. If I could go back in time, I would have never moved here knowing what I know now. I am not bitter, but I post this review as a cautionary tale.

                                We were looking for a three-bedroom place in the area, so we called to take a look at an available unit. When we pulled into the community, we noticed an obvious lack of upkeep, and when we stepped into the office for our appointment, the leasing agents argued right in front of us over who had to show us a unit. The guy who "lost" the argument, a younger man with braces and an abrupt attitude, not only did not introduce himself or even make us feel welcome, but very casually showed us a partially renovated unit when the unit that was available apparently was not being remodeled at all (even though we were told over the phone that the unit we could look at and potentially rent was fully renovated). He told us we could not even see the unit that WAS available, saying "well, most people will rent sight unseen", which came across as callous and extremely unhelpful. We would have been much more inclined to immediately fill out an application and deposit had we been treated in a more professional and courteous manner. The customer service here is the main thing that drove us away, and makes me believe that this lack of care translates over to how they treat their tenants as well.

                                        I love my actual apartment and lay out. However I called A few months ago because I didn't have proper locks on my door. Maintenance still never came. I get notices for my exact apartment left and right about maintenance coming in, idk about you but I decide to be present. So I take off of work & they never show. Driving through, then grass is nice, you see workers and then I get home, they hire workers to make sure the appearance is clean, but not our apartments court yard. The Tennis court is nothing but a ripped up old net, (it was A highlighted amenitie when I moved in) There are teenagers outside of my apartment all times of the day/night literally laying in the hallway hanging out. Mind you they do not live here! How dare I tell them that we are trying to eat dinner and are being disturbed. At that point they're making disgusting sexual remarks towards me. A group just came in today, riding there bikes through the halls, not allowing my husband to have an open path as he carried groceries. New cameras have been installed but clearly aren't active. As much as I love my apartment. The management just isn't up to par. And we'll be looking elsewhere when this lease is up.
