I love it here!

I have lived here for about 3 months and have seen 2 managers run it. The new manager, Christine, is great! She is very friendly and seems to know what she is doing. The maintenance man, Dennis, is very nice and handles his work in a timely fashion. Any time I call with a question or a complaint, it is handled in a proffesional manner. I am very satisfied with my new home!

night mare

I moved to St. Andrews Club 3 months ago and the nightmare began; When I moved in there where no appliances; no fridge, no washer, no dryer, no stove. We were told that we were going to be receiving new ones, but it ended up taking them 3 weeks. I have 2 little children to feed; and take out is expensive. When we received the appliances, they ended up being old, smelly, and roach infested. When we moved in there were no blinds in any of the rooms so i had to hang up some sheets because there were 2 men looking into my apartment; that was the scariest thing. Another problem was when we moved in the carpets were wet they told me that they where going to get the carpets cleaned, but after a few day of waiting i went back and just got the run around, so i had to call some one and pay out of my own pocket to get the carpet cleaned, last but not least I've had 5 leaks in 3 months, o yeah just to let any one who is reading this there is only 1 maintenance man for the whole complex so the work orders take forever. I am not trying to be mean in any way but this is getting quite ridiculous. I would not recommended these apartments to anyone; I can't wait until my lease is over; beware of the management; I think the people who wrote good reviews about this complex, are either the owners, or managers; this place is terrible.

Military Beware!!! Unsafe complex, unreliable staff, etc!!!

St Andrews Club was a nightmare from the start. The woman that showed us the apartment originally was fired before she received her commission... She managed to get my number at work (I'm active duty military, I didn't give it to her, I have no idea how she got it) and harass me at least once a week for written verification that she showed me the apartment. The calls got more frequent, and she started calling me from overseas.. Just a weird situation all together, finally she gave up after a few months. Now, the apartments are under "new management." The hours for the leasing office are supposedly 9-5, every day.... but they go to lunch for two hours on end most days, and lock the office behind them. I guess everyone in the entire office goes to lunch together every day? Then, as I am military, I am not released until 430 pm for the evening. If there is ever a reason I need to visit the leasing office, to pick up a package, pay rent, etc, they are very rarely actually open until 5 pm, nor do they open on time in the mornings either. Don't bother trying to pay your bills electronically--check or money order is not accepted here. One time, I miscalculated my rent check and over paid by a few dollars. My check bounced, and when I went to correct it, the day after they cashed it, they charged me late fees for the 6 days it took THEM to cash my check! Packages are a nightmare as well. They have lost two of my packages within the past six months. When I showed them the tracking info, that THEY had personally signed, they said that ultimately I was responsible for the package that I never received. Gates didn't work for the first few months I lived here. Now that they work, they are not secure. No need to enter the code, just drive up close to the gate... it will open. Thin walls. I can hear my neighbors' tv. Haven't been robbed yet... but I sleep with a loaded gun next to me every night. If you decide to live here, try to get as close to the leasing office as you can. Police cars are constantly driving toward the back of the apartment complex.

UNHAPPY TENATNT

When we moved here back in June 2010 the management was very helpful and curtious. The maint. dept was willing to do what it took to get your problem solved. The manager cared about her tentants not just about getting the rent. The complex has get a new management team the really don't know much about running an apartment complex. The manager really not qualified to have that position. She only cares ablout the money and don't care about if you have problems in your apartment. She will tell you what you want to hear about gettig your problem solved even if it means lying to you right in front of your face. Then when it don't get done you call to find out what's going on she will ignore your calls. It was sad to see Debbie and her team go. Now we have to deal with what we got.

Very Impressed With Apartment Layout

My son and I visited the property on Sunday and were quickly impressed with by the attentive staff. Charles took us on a tour of the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom model apartment. I really loved the layout! My teen liked that he had a choice of bedrooms. Also it's great that each of us has our own bathrooms. For this busy working mom, it was a deal closer to have a separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Now only if I can have our place decorated as nicely as the model!

St. Andrews is Heaven

Home- I would call it an Apartment but Really, come on with all the space in there it's like living in my old house again love it. Family- O k, I know that sounds silly but this management and maintenance staff are so friendly and courteous. If I have a problem with anything their right on it to help. Oh and I love when management has there cook outs for the community, I just feel like were one big family.

I've been a happy tenant while residing at St. Andrews Club Apts. I moved into the complex in March of 2010 and have nothing but good things to say thus far. I enjoy the complex and my friendly neighbors. The office staff are so wonderful. They've ALWAYS made things accomodating for me and my family. I'd refer St. Andrews Club Apts to anyone. After careful research and several property checks (different times of day and night) I choose to down sized from a home to St. Andrews Club because of the current economy. They were extremely affordable and give you the feeling of a home enviornment.

I have lived in St Andrews club apartment and over all my experience living in these apartments have been great all the staff in the management office are very spectacular team, everytime i need some thing to be done in my aparment as far as maintance it always got done propperly and on time. i would and still recommend poeple to live here, i feel very safe living here and so as my kids, one of my main good things that i love about this aparment every one is nice and i love the fact theirs a playground.. theirs hardly any playgrounds in apartments now in days..

Saint Andrews Club-Going Downhill Fast

I have lived in this place for almost a year now. The first half of the year was great. Since January we have had a new management company and the place is going downhill at an alarming rate. I don't want to place blame on the management, it just seems like a big coincidence to me so I have a feeling they are partially to blame. The apartments- Ok, but relatively small and inefficient. Seems like you can't ever get the place totally clean due to the placement of the washer/dryer and the kitchen. Other then that things seem to fall apart all the time, though maintenance still responds to fix things, and the air conditioner is loud. All appliances are electric. Parking Lot- Evididence of the deliquents roaming the neighborhood is on the rise. On a recent walk to get the mail I noticed three pieces of graffiti. We inform management constantly, they have stopped caring so the graffiti isn't removed for about a week. Noise- Constant noise from neighbors. Thump thump thump from bass. Especially at night. Grounds- Trash everywhere, grass dying. Safety- Going downhill. The delinquents roam the neighborhood on bikes, I have almost hit several in my car. It is only a matter of time... I also wrote one of the responses before defending this place, so you know I am just being honest. And if you are moving in because of the pools and gym- The gym has horrible equipment, and the pools are barely ever open. Management sort of tries to keep one of the two open but people don't care and mess them up. Good luck St Andrews, hope you can recover!

R U KIDDING ME???

I know most people get on this website just to say bad things about a place, I actually stumbled across it and decided to check it out... You can definitley see that those that have written these horrible reviews are less than intelligent people. I mean these things do not really happen... I believe that although we have freedom of speach in America, that there should be a reasonable law in place to prevent such false BS to be posted. I can also tell you that had I read these reviews prior to my move here...it still would not have prevented me from renting, I have enjoyed my stay at St Andrews and plan to continue living here. Pay your rent, keep your kids in-line, report problems and you too should have a pleasant stay.. I mean seriously we live in Vegas people!! Things happen, where is your common sense? The difference between this complex and others are that when you are in need... the staff are always right there to assist!!! I have great neighbors as well and I also believe that you must be a good neighbor to have a good neighbor...

Not such a safe place

all the people who say that st.andrews is a great place must not have been outside. i am 15, so i know what the kids are doing, and just moved from there to acapella. my house door was kicked in during the day while everybody was in the living room. they have a horrible roach problem. there are gang members from "wood" and "squad" in there all the time. most of the gates have been rammed so they are always open. a couple of times the apartments have been robbed during the day. there have been people who look into our house from the patio. the parking isnt safe considering that people have stolen cars all throughout the neighborhood. their playground makes the kids very susceptible to ringworm considering that they only have dirt and woodchips in the playground area. most of the maitenece only speaks spanish. the staff doesnt take care of anything we never had anything done about our door being kicked in. the kids by the playground are always throwing something up against the walls just not an overall safe place for you much less your kids i think i would rate these apartments 1-10 probabaly a 0.5

I really like it here!!

Not that my opinion is going to alter anyone else's but I moved in here early of 2007, it was an attractive, clean and nice place. The staff have always been superior. I did notice that the area seemed to be changing for the worse and coulkd possibly alter the way of living for me and my family but.... The management here is excellent and took a proactive approach and brought in this no -------- security company who kicked ---! Management takes the time to find out what my problems are an address it, they are not perfect...but they sure try to be.. I just want you to know that it is not unoticed.. I am in the Military and I am away a lot of the time leaving my wife and kids for weeks and somtimes months at a time.. I feel good knowing that we are living in a place that really cares! Again I am in the Military so apartment living is something we have had to do, I would really like to live in our own house and until then I am thankful that we got lucky to find St Andrews! I am leaving for out of state duty for 2 years coming up in December and then will return to Nellis.. We will definatley be moving back here! That is until we find our house!! It's clean, It's safe, there are gates, security is escellent! The office goes out of their way to help! The worker guys are amazing. As a matter of fact I think they all live here and you know that makes a difference, they seem to take better care of this place then most homeowners do with their front yards!! So reccommend? Absolutley!!

I lived at the complex for 5 years.. I've seen it go down hill and yes we did have problems, but the office staff is really nice now... and the maintenace is great! Its finally back to the way it was when I first moved in. I would recommand this complex.

I have lived here going on 4 years and I love it, the staff is awesome, Riverstone Residential Group runs the place, they rock, and they have a 24 hour maintenance guarentee...they'll be by to address the issues with-in 24 hrs. or I get rent credit.

The Best One

My family and I are moving to Las Vegas and it has been very stressful talking to most apartment companies. St. Andrews Club Apts. have been nothing but nice, professional and answered all my needs. Most apts. in that area were rude and pushy but not St. Andrews. We have decided to go with them.

HORRIBLE

I have lived here for 2 years, and it is the MOST disgusting area I have ever lived in. My neighbors that lived across from my husband and myself. Were drug addicts and had the police called on them every weekend, for their LOUD fights/parties. The management never gave them notice for eviction them or kick them out! All the neighbors around them complain every week to the office but, some how they still see, to reside there.

Way over priced disgusting display of price gouging nevadan's

St Andrews club is at least 4 to 7 years old and the units are getting run down. But they still charge 800.00 for a 1 bed 1 bath unit and make you pay water and thier insurance that doesn't even cover you just them. They say they are charging market value for the units but you tell them market value is for the new appartments not a 4 to 7 year old complex. If I wanted to pay full market value I would live some where that is new. This place can't even give me a covered parking spot by my appartment I was given a parking spot 3 buildings away from my building I can't even see my car which is bad here with all the theft. The first day I moved in some maintanence person working for st andrews club was bruttally beaten right out in front of my window and the people beatting him were pissed because the maintenece man broke into there appartment while the guy's disabled mother was home. I have personally seen the office personell show 1 bed 1 bath appartments to -------- families with 5 or more people and then they move in and you end up with what sounds like a herd of elephants living upstairs and screaming children outside your appartment all day and most of the night. At least at a very minimum ther are visits from the police department 3 times a week. I could go on and on this place basicly would be worth living in for about 650.00 for a 1 bed 1 bath and thats it no other charges. Why you ask do I say this after everything I have told you well thats easy location,location,location. However the staff will not negotiate there prices they think there ---- doesn't stink and as long as they can stuff entire families of 5 or more weather they be black, -------- or trailer park cousins into there appartments they don't have to negotiate prices.

Nice place to live

I am in the military and lived there for over a year. I thought it was very nice, and the management was easy to work with as well as very friendly. It was a clean neighborhood and has a decent work out area and pool. I liked the fact that it was gated. I felt safe here. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were Robbed

We were robbed on a Sunday evening between 8-10 when security was here. However, security did not bother to walk around or they could have seen our door standing wide open all night. A neighbor didn't even report it until 8am the next morning. Over 20,000 worth of property was stolen. The door was kicked in. Maintenance later told us that a couple of teachers in the building down from ours was robbed in broad daylight 2 months before. Do not move here. Please, this is not a safe place for anyone let alone children. Management didn't even have our broken lock replaced until 5 days later. Sylvia has been completely not empathetic and down right rude.

St. Andrews Club Apts should change its name to Gangsta's Paradise

Washer and Dryer in every unit.<br>High Rent.<br>Low Security, no security when the "night watchman" is sleeping in his vehicle.<br>Thin walls.<br>Groups of teenage kids roam the parking lots bragging about how hard they are.<br>Ground floor units have bug problems.<br>Sliding glass patio doors tend to break when rocks are thrown through them.<br>Now it may sound as if this place in unsafe to live but don't be alarmed, quite a few children arm themselves with knives and guns to protect themselves.

From St. Andrews Club to the Bario in less than 6 months.

Your not in E. LA your at St. Andrews Club. The manager will only talk to you or return your phone calls if you only speak spanish. When I moved in here over a year ago the staff was extreemly helpful in my work requests and were very friendly. Now some of the office staff are very rude and if you don't speak spanish your ignored. I'm offended that when I enter the office it's automatically assumed that I speak anything other than english because I am --------. Thank you to the staff that are courteous and helpful to some of us long term residents.

although we have not had any trouble with management my friend that have moved in after us have. she does not know what she is doing and the people that have move in here are most diffently a lower class of people and therefore we have had trouble makers. something need to be done to get it back to the people that where here when Sandy was manager. Please pass this on the there Corporate office if you can. It really needs a diffrent manager , someone who knows what there doing.

St. Andrews has no saints.

Oh, where to begin? The pools and hot tubs are nice, because you are locked out of them 9 months out of the year. They say they are broke. The apartments are cheap, except for the rent. The crime is unbeleiveable!!! My car was stolen, apt. broken in to 3 times, gang members all over the complex, all hours of the night. Gates that have enough gap in them to let anyone walk right in, and security that, quite frankly, must be in on the crime. The managment lies constantly about repairs, pools, hot tubs, fixing problems. They are just there for a check. I have seen cops there to disperse unruly residence that are haveing there rap sessions in the parking lots at 2 in the morning. People sleeping in their cars, doing drugs in their cars etc. These incedents have all been reported, and yet it still goes on. I'm moving to summerlin. If your a gangster, this is a great place for you!!! If management would get off their fat butts and put their snacks down, maybe something would get done around here.

No way this is "luxury"

We moved into this place sight unseen as we came from out of state. How they can call this place luxury was beyond us. From the lack of landscaping, the group of thugs who were walking around late at night to the lack of base board moulding and 1" thick calking lines and ripped vinyl in the wet areas, this place was scary. We had a stolen car dumped in front of our unit, a weirdo knock on our door asking for money... The place was a dump. Oh, did I mention that the interiors of the cabinets were unfinished press board that had a lot of vandalim and damage? The walls were paper thin that you could hear the neighbors talking and a few other things I can't mention. The only good thing about the place was the washer and dryer. We complained about this place so much they finally let us out of our lease after 3 months. Thank the stars above because I would have freaked if we were to have stayed any longer. When the maintence guy says the place is a dump, then you really got some problems.
