Bad security
I heard warnings about the bad security at St. Andrew's Club Apts after I moved in & was really worried. I made sure I had a good alarm system on my new car, and I personally did not have any problems with break-ins. However, my mailbox was broken into and I lost $70 worth of materials that I had purchased.
There was a mugging that occured right outside the complex.
The apartment itself was fairly nice. Great washer & dryer. The electrical wiring was really cheap, however, and a pain to deal with sometimes. I lived on the 2nd floor and didn't have any problems with noise.
People often parked their cars in MY spot under the carport; this really got on my nerves.
The pool was often down for maintenace, but was nice when it was open. The fitness room kept losing equipment to thieves.

In the 6 months that I lived at St. Andrews's Club both my car and my husband's truck were broken into and property stolen. Whoever broke into my car also tried to steal and messed up my ignition. Our friend just a building down from us actually had his car stolen and taken for a joy ride. The security there is terrible. The guards walk around all night and write warnings if you aren't parked in the right area, but somehow they seem to miss all the car break ins. Take a ride through the parking lot and you will see plenty of cars that have windows busted out and covered with tarp. I was in the apt. the end of 2004, so maybe it is better now, but based on what I experienced I do not reccoment these apartments at all. Oh and did I mention the roaches...huge and tons of them! They would crawl up onto our bed, and we are very clean people, so it wasn't like there was trash or crumbs all over the place. We would even have roaches fall out of the smoke detector fixture. Gross. We got out of these apt. as soon as we could.

A -- A Wonderful Place
I don't throw out superlatives unless they are earned, and ST. ANDREWS CLUB has most certainly !
A fairly new complex, the units are large.
The grounds are maintained exquisitely, as is the general look. No garbage or litter here!
Green grass in LV is a rare sight, but this complex has it!
The office staff is top-notch....they care about the tenants, and often go out of their way to make sure the tenants are satisfied.
Maintenance requests were answered/solved within 24 hours.
The complex is safe and clean, and has plenty of parking.
I enjoyed my stay immensely.
