Great place to live
We love living at Montara Park! The community is beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and responsive, and maintenance is always quick and reliable. It’s been a great place to call home—we definitely recommend it!

Great staffing
I've lived here a few years, and it has gotten so so much better under the new management. They renovated my apartment last year, and it feels like I'm living in an entirely new apartment. I had a few technical issues with my resident portal, but after speaking with Jess at the front office, they were resolved quickly. The maintenance guys are nice and seem pretty knowledgeable about the various requests I have put in, too. Haven't had a reason to complain since the switch from Campus Lodge to Montara Park.

Breath of fresh air
I toured with Jess and it was fantastic. She was able to confirm that the property had everything I was looking for. She was the friendliest person I have met throughout my apartment hunting experience. I also really loved how in depth the model unit was, a lot of other properties just showed pictures instead of an actual tour. I was given honest prices when I asked how much my total rent would be. My experience here was great from the beginning and this place definitely wins for me.

Best place I’ve lived at!
I have loved my time living here. I will gladly renew each year. The property staff and management is amazing. Katlynn seems to be working every Saturday that I have had any issues and always makes sure I am well taken care of. I highly recommend the office staff, they are always very helpful. Great community overall, and super cheap rent for the quality of living you receive!

Best place
Just like the pictures and my tour person Shayla was so friendly and informative about all my questions and the property looked very clean and well kept and the pool looks so fun for the summer time and it is probably the best place I’ve seen in Norman!

Great place to live
The front office is great at handling roommate issues, and Katlynn was super nice in helping me learn how to use the Resident Portal to pay my rent. I already renewed my lease and will continue to renew.

Prospective tenant
I went in for a tour & was given a tour by Shayla. Shayla was very knowledgeable & sweet. The apartments were nice and clean as well with lots of amenities perfect for a college student. A big shout out and thank you to Shayla for making my tour experience a great one & for answering all of my questions and concerns.

I love it here.
Signing here has been such an amazing choice for myself! It is not too far from campus and the amenities are perfect for students. Shayla was my tour guide before signing and is who ultimately helped me with my lease. Since then, she has stayed consistent in helping me with any issues I have and checking in anytime she sees me in the office. I plan to continue to renew and stay for quite a while. I highly recommend taking a look at Montara Park when looking for housing!

Great Student Housing!
Great experience with Jess and touring. The pool and gym and great amenity highlights and they also have a tanning bed. I love the environment in the clubhouse. Literal perfection when it comes to student housing!

I love it
I love living here. One of the workers (Shayla) is just the sweetest girl alive! I love getting to call this place my home. I’ve also been loving the amenities! If you’re thinking about signing here, do it!

Terrible
Management at this complex was TERRIBLE. Neighbors in my building were always smoking in the bathroom and the scent came up into my bathroom. It made me nauseous and I couldn’t breathe in my room. Windows in my unit were broken so I was stuck. When my roommate moved out she left a few of my things in her room and without warning, management threw my stuff away. I went to the office and was told I could recover my belongings. I was sent on a wild goose chase, calling dozens of numbers. After a week I was redirected to Andrew, the manager, who was clearly annoyed that I called and told me “What stuff?! I don’t have your stuff!†When I asked. I never received my things. Also, when I was living there we had a power outage. I called three different times the campus emergency number to let them know our power was out. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it and that I needed to call OG&E myself. So I tried to call them and they said they couldn’t help without the account number, which of course I didn’t have because campus lodge managed the account, and I did not have access to that information. So the next morning I went to the office to tell them our power was out as soon as it opened. When I arrived they were upset that I was there, because the office power was out as well. I told them our power in our unit had been out since the night before and they were clearly irritated at my being there and told me to leave. So much for helping out their tenants.

My car was vandalized two night in a row in a targeted attack. The note left on my car threatened further damage to my car. Naturally, I wanted to break my lease for my own safety, but Amy Watson indicated there was absolutely nothing that could be done to help me despite pictures of the damages, the police report, and the threatening note left on my car. Horrible, horrible people.

I have had a great experience here thus far! The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. I also feel welcome every time I visit the main office. Every maintenance request has been fulfilled and the apartment and amenities are great! Good value for what you pay for. The neighborhood is a little on the ------ side but Campus Lodge appears to have good security at night especially on weekends. Highly recommend living here!

I have had the worst experience living here. I used to love it and recommended a lot of people to live here but after my most recent problem it is clear that management doesn't care for you or your well being they only care about money. I have been living with a roommate that is bullying me and my other two roommates, she is controlling, dirty and is also involved in illegal activity at our apartment. I have been fighting with management for MONTHS for them to solve this problem and they turn a blind eye to the BLATANT illegal and safety violations that have gone on in my apartment. Seems like when my dog dies, or i am hospitalized for my medical problems because of the environment of our apartment maybe then they will listen. Not only that but the utility bill is astoundingly high, they are scamming you. People don't pick up after their dogs including my own roommate and they don't do anything about that either. they will take any chance to charge you for anything. Don't move here. Seriously.

These people charge a $50 late fee after ONE day!! (After lying about the due date). Every other apartment complex gives a 10-day grace period. My mortgage company gives 15 days on my $1100 mortgage and the late fee is only $23. This place is located in a VERY high crime area and I have NEVER seen security! They are unorganized as well. As soon as our contract is up in July, we will be either moving home or to a nicer place that has better ethics, better security and a much better location. I highly recomnend that you do NOT live here!!!

Fine to live in until you have to deal with the staff or maintenance. AC has been broken for over a month, and after waiting for our maintenance request to be filled, the staff at the clubhouse has told us that fixing the AC (in the middle of the summer) is not a priority due to new move ins. Campus Lodge clearly spends the majority of your rent money on marketing and new renter acquisition instead of assisting the current residents, which explains the absurdly high turnover rate amongst the renting population. You get what you pay for, spend the extra 50 a month and go with another place with better service and priorities.

I've been living here for two years, here's what they won't tell you before you sign your lease: - The mattresses are HORRIBLE. Basically just giant blue bricks. If you complain about them they just tell you to buy a mattress topper. - The AC units are ancient and inefficient. Mine broke 3 times in 1 month over the summer and once I went a week in 90 degree weather with no AC because they couldn't find the problem. - They give you a $40 electrical bill credit per person, but expect to pay anywhere from $30 - $50 a month out of pocket on top of that in the summer. They have the highest power bills in town, I suspect because of the aforementioned ancient AC units. - You have to be incredibly vigilant when you move out if you don't want them to charge you for cleaning. Also, their cleaning service is terrible. When I moved in everything was filthy - trash under the furniture, cabinets covered in sticky residue, cigarette butts all over the patio, etc. - They're disorganized when it comes to roommates. They moved a new person into my apartment while I was gone over the summer without telling me, the only reason I found out is because my friend who was taking care of my fish met her and told me. Luckily she turned out to be nice but she could have stolen all my stuff in the living room or trashed the place and I never would have known about it.

I simply love living here! Awesome roommate matching, very helpful staff (special thanks to Kate Florman). There's always something going on - from scuba diving, to free food, movie nights and many more! The surroundings is clean, nice and QUIET! No marching band practicing close to your apartment early in the morning, or late night parties! ;) I would totally recommend Campus Lodge Apartments! ;)

Would not recommend. Terrible email communication, if you want a response it often takes a week. It took them over 3 weeks to fix my dishwasher and I made numerous calls and visits to the office. When you move out they try to charge you with everything under the sun. They wanted to meet with me about my roommate situation so I send them my availability and then I get a later saying I am being relocating to another apartment. Like what was the point of trying to work with me? The renovations suck! I liked the apartment the way it was but then I was upgraded (downgraded) and don't get me started on the renovation process. My car keys got lost or stolen and that's when the dishwasher stopped working. The computers in the computer lab are often down so it defeats the purpose. The list could go on and on. Honestly, don't move here.

Campus lodge is a great apartment complex. Its quiet and best for graduate students. Staff here is very sweet and helpful. They quickly respond to complaints. They have a pool, computer lab, gym, tanning room and game room. Its great to live here. The apartments have in unit washer dryer. Bus top to OU campus is right outside the complex. I definitely reccomend it.

I have lived here for a few months now and I like it pretty well. The management seems pretty nice and maintenance is always quick to fix things! I am happy with where I live and the rent is low! Its also really close to campus!

campus Lodge is the worst apartment I've ever lived. They show you a nice model, but give you a dirty apartment, full of flaws. When you make a contract there is no way for termination it, you have to pay all the remaining month's rent. The worst thing is they return your deposit too late after a month and charge you for painting and changing carpet which was disgusting at the first, AND for UTILITY which is included in the rent!!!

Avoid living here at all costs. Don't be like me, I read the reviews and thought "surely my experience will be better", nope! This place sucks. The ONLY 2 good things are the price and the fact that everyone gets their own room and bathroom. Besides that, it was SO dirty when we moved in and we had to clean it ourselves because the cleaning crew didn't help at all. I've also contacted management about the gate because it's been broken since we moved in and they STILL haven't gotten it fixed. Random people off the street just walk in all the time. We even had a crazy drunk lady come bang on our door one night and we had to call the police and that's happened to a few other people that live here too. The neighborhood surrounding the complex is so rundown and sketchy, I never felt safe here. I heard police sirens probably 5 nights ever week that I lived here. The rooms are small, the internet sucks, and the apartment buildings are gross (stairs, landscaping, outside doors, etc.). The management stinks, I PROMISE you can find somewhere better to live.
