Originally great place third new owner of the complex first owner was excellent but then American landmark took over weak . on maintenance of property. People hanging sheets and blankets over their balconies looks like the South Bronx

Make sure all charges are thoroughly explained upfront before signing. Do your homework and explore all other options in the area before making a decision. This is a decent community/area with a lot nearby thats walking distance.

Over the years appearance and maintenance has gone down and newer communities are coming around at a cheaper rate. Residents are hurrying to purchase a home or move to a new apartment community. The area is convenient but the competition is playing at high stakes

Elevate community has been my home for the last 7 years! I am the original resident for my comfortable 2-bedroom, 2 bath 1127 sq. ft. I leased prior to its completion, and I couldn't be happier. I feel safe and comfortable.

First time using the rating, but learning more about it. Hope this helps others too get a idea when looking for a place. Plus the people who have pets (dogs) that are big, they need to clean up after them when outside.

I do not think it's right that you can slap on a home telecom Internet package on our rent when we already have it at a cheaper price. how can you do this without telling us or giving us an option to opt in our opt out this was not all my least.

The first couple years, I absolutely loved it here. The last few years however it has gone down hill. The breezeways are disgusting always have bugs and are dirty. Things in lease keep changing and fees keep being added. First the water bill, the valet trash and now the internet. I used to truly love living here but I do not plan on renewing my lease again. This is a luxury apartment that is starting to feel like section 8 housing. The upkeep is awful and the prices keep getting raised. And for all the new apartment complexes in the are that were built in the last year or so, I would much rather be wear it's cleaner and well kept. I can never find parking within 3 buildings of my building if I come back after 7pm which is ridiculous. The last 2 years I have been here out of 5 though have gone down hill and it makes me sad because I really did like this community but just feel like the residents aren't cared about. The company wants to make as much money as possible without doing what they should be. Or if you want to make changes maybe get some feedback first from the residents. Internet is now through our lease and going up to $80. I don't need 1gig of internet speed living alone and don't want to pay $80 for my internet because it's an unecessary expense for me.

Conveniently located near the interstate, fine dining, schools, grocery stores, and shopping centers. The community feels safe for children and is generally quiet, with the exception of lively holiday celebrations. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and each unit includes a washer and dryer. The pool and grilling areas are well maintained and provide a family-friendly environment. While most common areas are kept in good condition, the stairs and breezeways are in need of proper pressure washing. A company was hired to complete the work, but the results were unsatisfactory as many stains remain, and no follow-up was done to address the issue. For this reason, I rated the overall appearance three stars. There is no security on property, rather regular notices are provided to contact local law enforcement if we have any issues. I've not had any reason to do so. On the positive side, concierge trash pick-up is a great convenience, and the maintenance team is responsive, working efficiently to resolve requests in a timely manner.

Fine. The website is, not in my opinion, but factual, is not accurate. The website over sells and does not live up to expectations. Cobwebs, debris, safety lights hanging off the wall on stairwells and breezeway have all been neglected.

The experience overall has been pretty good. The office staff are great unfortunately there is Little to know policing of the standards around the property. People will leave their trash out or play their music very loud.

My honest opinion is that I'm disappointed with my experience living here. From the beginning, I wasn't informed about all the additional charges, even after explicitly asking for a full breakdown. This lack of transparency is frustrating and sets a poor tone for the rest of the experience. The trash policy is unreasonable. Expecting residents to bring a dirty trash basket back into their homes is unsanitary and unnecessary. On top of that, the violation notices are vague and not clearly communicated, leaving tenants confused and frustrated. The parking situation is by far the most unacceptable aspect of living here. It's poorly managed, with some residents taking up two spaces for company and personal vehicles. Meanwhile, residents living on higher floors are forced to carry groceries long distances while lower-floor tenants have premium parking. For a complex charging over $2,000 a month, this is simply not acceptable. I would rather live in a more affordable place with a fair and functional parking setup. Safety and rule enforcement are also a concern. There's a two-guest limit at the pool, but it's common to see people ignoring this. Strangers are often let in by residents, which undermines the sense of security that we're supposed to be paying for. Ultimately, this place doesn't offer the value, safety, or comfort that should come with the price tag. I will not be renewing my lease.

I loved this community when I first moved in it. Now it is deteriorating. The physical building. Alot of things are breaking more. However, we have great staff at elevate and a great community manager. I wish we could keep our property looking better on the building. The spiders in the hallways at night. The garbage being left out. Makes the community look cheap/------. And ain't nothing cheap about our apartments when it comes to rent.

I have pleased with my experience at this complex. The residents pleasant hard working people. Only a few are careless and do not take take of the property. The only significant problems are trash removal and package security.

I love how it's more of a community rather than an apartment complex in a way, it feels more home like. There are some issues with maintenance taking forever to fix anything, parcel delivery service is a nightmare at times. Many residents smoke cigarettes on the property, which is prohibited. Grills and amenities are mostly damaged or outdated. The gym especially needs an update. With new apartment complex is opening up around the area with much more updated equipment and more updated modern living spaces. It begs the question if elevate at Brighton Park is worth the price tag.

The leasing office has been delightful and helpful through the moving in process. The neighborhood is very peaceful and beautiful. Having a gas station and grocery store close by has also been great! I'm very glad I moved to elevate and would recommend it for sure.

Trash is everywhere, dumpster doesn't work properly. Dumpster doors are broken lights busted. Multiple lights are out on property. Landscape lighting doesn't work on property. Most of the grills are out of service and the lighting above them broken. Paint on property fading. Grass isn't growing and is eroding away. Pond could use lighting and a few fountains. Sidewalks and driveways have serious rust stains. Mail area is full of cobwebs and bugs. Spiders everywhere. All of the furniture at the pool is cheap and falling apart.

Living at Elevate has been decent overall. The move-in experience was easy for both of the spaces that I've lived in here and management/the leasing office is helpful and fair for the most part. The units themselves feel a little dated/worn - noisy/older appliances, poor water pressure in the kitchen, blinds that you have to fight to get down once they're up, scratched up door frames/walls, etc. but the overall look of the apartment is very nice and I've been happy living in my space. My only true complaint about the interior is not having any recessed lighting or ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I don't feel like I should have to install lighting myself when I'm supposed to be paying for a move-in ready apartment. I do also wish the breezeways were better taken care of to help prevent bugs. My neighbors and I don't really leave trash or anything outside and the breezeway still has so much dirt and bugs. It feels like we get one power wash a year and thats it, which when you live in a climate like this, is not nearly enough. Like I said, these apartments aren't brand new, but they're nice enough and I have dealt with far worse leasing teams at other apartments, so it's give and take. The location is great, so it's really about what's a priority to you.

There has only been one operable pool gate since long before we moved here in 2024 and from our understanding there are no plans to fix it. The bath tubs are painted in our apartment so you can't use strong cleaners or the paint will peel. There are constantly beetles, roaches, palmetto bugs, spiders, earwigs you name it regardless of regular pest service. You pay two separate trash fees, you pay for valet trash regardless of if you use it. When they don't pick up you still pay for it unless you specifically request to be compensated. You pay for propane regardless of if you use it. Along with the other multiple charges of electric for common areas ( not your power bill). You get charged for Common area maintenance even though the trash cans and dog poop stations are full often and out of bags just the same. the "bushes" or over grown grass near the common areas are often taller than your average adult. Trees and over growth hanging over the sidewalk. There are a lot of stray cats you have to be careful if you're walking at night between buildings 4-5 we were attacked by a group of them and were told by the county basically there's nothing they can do unless we personally Want to trap them. The playground has zero shade so in the summer or sunny days kids can't play on the equipment without getting burnt. There are large ant hills everywhere. You have to be careful walking on the gravel path or in the grass basically anywhere that's not concrete. There's ant hills crossing the gravel paths in numerous areas. Myself and dogs have gotten eat up by ants from walking at night. The path isn't that well lit. It's clear they do not treat the paths or areas for ants. The package room that we pay for is not secure the door has not locked since we moved in and we've had several packages stollen. Regular Tenant issues: they throw out food and trash in the grassy areas or pine needles so you have to keep an eye out if you are walking your pets. The trash compactor is constantly over piled outside of the door regardless of how many times management sends out directions on how to use it or posts signs. With all the random nickel and dime charges they should get a security system by the compactor and start charging residents that leave their trash piled up by the door. The walls/ceilings are THIN so if you have an upstairs neighbor good luck you hear every noise. Pros: it's super conveniently located to Harris teeter and other restaurants.

The community is nice but it's old. It suits our needs. However appliances are old and somewhat noisy. They have a great service dept..when I moved in I had to install three bedroom fans and was a leak above me and mold developed and water damage ensued. The a c also broke and the floor units were had to use overflowed. They only had 2 loaners so they never shut off

Awesome location, fairly well kept apartments. Trash service totally sucks! Staff pretty much doesn't care about tenants. Maintenance is very good. Grounds crew is lacking in every area. UPS and FedEx package room is never locked. Many packages are stolen! I would rate them an 8 of 10. As much as tenants pay, you would expect much, much more. And it's just not there.
