Unfortunately, I haven't been at this complex for long. However, in the 4 months that i've lived here, it's been good so far. I haven't had any issues with the apartment i'm staying in and hopefully it stays that way. The staff of this complex is also really nicr and understanding!

The community has changed and so has the upkeep. Less care has gone into maintaining the property and the quality of the people moving in is poor. They don't take care of their property and it has shown.

I like the area where this apartment is located, it's close to stores and food stores. The maintenance team is pretty good. Easily accessible to the mailboxes. I would like if the flooring and walls were thicker because you can hear everything from your neighbors above you. And I would like if the apartment had designated parking for 2 vehicles because if you don't get home in time you will have to walk aways. And I don't care for that with a spouse. I love that there are police officers that live in the neighborhood.

Overall, I've had a terrible/ unhappy experience living at Elevate at Brighton Park!! property managers, assistant manager and leasing agents are extremely rude and very unprofessional behavior, except for the gentleman that works in the office. The property management is impossible to get ahold of via : phone, email or in person. The location is convenient, but the lack of communication, security and cleanliness in the common areas overshadowed the positives. After many emails I sent about my complaints , concerns & questions I haven't had any positive response or follow up calls nor has one person in the office tried to contact me to discuss any of my issues. This is not a friendly community at all. A tenants complaints are not something that they care about. Policies and procedures are in place for a reason, but yet no one monitors them or checks up on them to make sure they're being done. I've had to make many complaints on neighbors, leaving trash out in the breezeway, loud noise all hours of the night, trash and cigarette butts throughout the grounds and community people being attacked by dogs unleashed, theft, no parking for the residence that live here, there is a German cockroach problem in these apartments , preventative maintenance is not completed unless you put in for a service request. Myself and many many tenants that complain about these things regularly and there is never any response or change to help resolve the problems that continue to occur. They delete or decline your right to speak about what's going on in our community on our community wall page which to me is very unfair because that is what is designed for so that everyone is aware of what's going on. In my personal opinion, I would not recommend this a place to live. I hope this information is helpful to those that are looking.

Elevate is a great place to live. The location is very ideal as it is right off the interstate, close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. There is a great sense of community here where you feel included.

I absolutely love my apartment however the amount of dog poop all over the property and lack of parking makes it depressing. I feel like I am constantly complaining to management and maybe making them angry with my constant complaints. I pay a lot of money and do not want to keep dodging dog poop and walking a good distance to to find parking. Whereas, the residents selfishly park their MANY cars in all the spots.

All in All for my first time living in this community it's not bad. There are areas that could use some improvement like people picking up behind their pets because it smells like animal feces coming on out of the complex at times and better control management in the package room.

Front office staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Maintenance is great. Prompt response time and communicate well. Location is central to just about everything in town. Only complaint is that amenities around property are not kept up with. When I moved in pool area had nice couch's with sun cover that have since fallen apart and not been replaced/repaired. Same goes with car washing station

The community events and staff in the housing office are great. They create a community here. However the grounds can be better kept. They are slowly improving, but days will go by with the trash over flowing by the mail and pet relief stations.

Both positive and negative experiences. Moving into our unit was extremely negative. The unit was in very poor condition with dirt and grime and many things were broken and in need of repair! I still think the unit needs a major overhaul due to age and previous tenants not taking care of it he unit. The property manager tried to make it right but again unit needs a major overhaul. I will not be renewing. Brand new apartments are popping up nearby and they are much nicer and not a huge price difference.

The office staff and property management is very unhelpful and unresponsive with any questions , issues and concerns. I have lived here for a year and it has been a terrible experience with getting any help or assistance after sending several emails with my ongoing issues that have not been resolved. The maintenance team here is great.

Elevated Living!!
I’ve had the opportunity to tour Elevate at Brighton Park with my daughter. The amenities are great. There are varied apartment layouts that are quite spacious. The office staff is great and maintenance response is timely, and efficient. My daughter and I are sold!

After losing my partner of 26 years I relocated back to my home town. From the first contact until now, Susie and her amazing staff have gone the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable. Everything is right here!

Brighton Park Review From the moment we viewed the website, we were basically sold on Brighton Park. Then, upon arrival at the community and meeting the staff, our impressions continued. My wife and I met with Mrs. Delatisha White who did an extremely thorough job of explaining all the pertinent information to us. As we viewed the grounds and the model apartment, we were stunned with the opulence and the amenities. My wife fell in love with the fitness area and the whole aura of the community. For such a modern, contemporary, luxury community, the prices aren’t bad as well. Once we moved into our 1-bedroom apartment, we felt the luxury and comfort of being members of the Brighton Place community. Lastly, we were provided with a Move-In Checklist and while we found some very minor issues for the staff to address, once again, Delatisha White, did a wonderful job of listening and addressing our concerns. The maintenance team came and took care of everything. If you are thinking of moving to the Charleston/Summerville, SC area, do yourself a favor, and visit Brighton Park. If you are like my wife and I, you will look elsewhere to compare, but in your heart of hearts, you will return to Brighton Place and not be disappointed! Vernard and Jacqueline Collins

My husband and I moved into a one bedroom apartment in 2019. In 2020 my elderly mother was moving in with us so we needed more room while a house was being built. I informed management via verbally and in writing that my mother would require a shower bar. I was informed that they had to get this approved. My husband and I purchased a shower chair and a toilet seat lift. I continuously talked to staff about the shower bar to no avail until after my mom took a horrible fall in the bathroom getting out of the shower. I received notification after the fall that management is both willing and able to install a shower bar. My mom died from her injuries, shortly after her death I received a letter on my door stating that maintenance had come by to put the shower bar up. I have the emails from management, first I was informed that it was my responsibility and was told that I could proceed with a shower bar, my response was my mom took a fall and probably will not survive her injuries. Then immediately after her fall is when they decided that they would be responsible for the shower bar. The doctor recommended that my husband and I call hospice in and take her home to die due to her injuries from the fall. On January 11, 2021 @ 1:35 PM my mom died in my arms in the apartment that we currently reside in. (725 Jenkins Park Circle #----) I personally was unable to reside there due to anxiety of living where my mom died. I have moved out, my husband in moving out in a few weeks. I hope that in the future management takes simple things like a grab bar important. I feel as though management "killed" my mom. This has been the worst experience ever and I would never recommend this complex. If anyone wants more information please feel free to email me at

It's a great place to live. The amenities are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The activities they always have for everyone to get together and meet their neighbors is really great! Everyone just about has a pet and it's great to meet the different doggies walking around! The kids love the huge very clean playground and there are water fountains and bathrooms located right there for the kids. Only drawback I see is the rent is a little high.

I have never seen a community so well taken care of, so full of outstanding staff members who really care about getting people into the best residence. And there are so many events at any given time to meet and greet your fellow neighbors. Amazing development!!

If you want to feel safe and secure this is the place to live! Super close to shopping and restaurants of all kinds! The staff is super helpful with everything from day one even down to the smallest of detail!! I would recommend living here for anyone young or old and your close to one of the most historic cities in America!!!

This community is amazing because the staff treats you like you've known them forever. The community is so clean and there is also a courtesy officer that is always there if you need it. The apartment is amazing, everything is brand new and fresh. Another perk is that there is a lot of windows to get that natural light.

This has been a stellar home find since relocating with my job to this area! The office staff is always quick to respond with friendly smiles and help. The apartment layout, amenities, workout facility, pool, cleanliness and location are just a few of the special touches that add to the charm and comfort of this community. So glad to have found a home here!

This is an amazing place to live. SOO close to everything! Absolutely love the coffee machine at the clubhouse! The pool is beautiful. Pet friendly! Staff always seem so happy. Can not wait to spend many days at the pool this summer!
