I’ve lived here for over a year and the staff is great. Sandy Price really done a great job and helping me the new changes in the management are working wonderful not only Sandy but all the management is doing a really good job and helping. Thank you for all your help.

Good place, great people
Office: Whether you call or go in to the office in person will make little difference because you will be helped all the same. The way Kendra answers the phone is so professional yet welcoming in a way (like you're NOT a bother, but a pleasure). You can tell she enjoys her job. No attitudes or lack of customer service. Maint: The maintenance guys work fast and efficiently. They respect privacy and only get into whatever they need to fix the problem. No one in the office? No problem. Their emergency number works too. Overall: Recently they put out a new grill, basketball ?? net, dog park and a bigger fence around the pool. They also have renovated units. That being said, the outside is typically well kept and the neighbors are nice without being pushy. Everyone minds their own business here but it's easy to strike up a friendly conversation with anyone. I don't plan on leaving this place for any other apartment complex in the area. Should I move, it'll be in a house. That's how much I like this place, and you will too

Complete upgrade!
I was blown away by how different these apartments look! I was welcomed by smiles and good energy when I walked in the office and the leasing agent Kendra was so nice and amazing! She Told me she just started but I couldn’t tell at all! The apartments are completely changed, the renovations done to them are beautiful. The area is super QUIET and I was told they’ll be adding in smart home systems soon! Definitely family friendly and right by a charter school my daughter will be attending!

The new management has really started turning this place around. I've been here about 2 years and since they took over it is like a huge sigh of relief. The new manager Sandra is always working. I see her walking around property and helping maintenance as well! Very excited to see all the things they are going to do.

Looks nice
I have lived here for 4 years and this is the 1 st company to buy property and and make it look nice on the outside. All the extra work that they are putting into it really makes it feel like home. I want to thank the staff for being so friendly and always trying to make things better around here for us.Ms. Sandra is always out doing something all the time.

Maintenance is great
We have been at The Savoy for 11 months. Leaving to buy a house. Maintenance is very nice and helpful..Michael and Andre. The complex is convenient to many places including Hazel Harvey Peace Elementary School. Mrs. Winea is very kind and helpful. Thank you to the maintenance and office staff. Please come see Mrs. Winea if your looking to lease an apartment she is awesome at what she does.

I Love The Savoy’s
I love the Savoy because it’s very quiet the office is very nice and I got a chance to meet Mrs. Winea which is the leasing consultant and she really know how to treat her residents and she answered all of my questions and was able to assit me as well as Ms. Sandra she has an sweet personality. Both of them are rockstars and I love the area. I have been living here since February and this is an awesome area to live in. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an nice decent apartment with nice amenities to come visit the savoy’s they are nice.

Great community
The savoy apartment personnel is very professional and very cordial to the needs of the residents at savoy. Winea is very high energy, courteous as well as respectful to myself and other potential residents. The office is very clean, organized and sanitized. It is such a great place to live. Much quieter and you can tell the demographics is changing. Winea is so approachable and very much so a people person. Her productivity shows a great asset to this management company.

Love My Apartments
I been here since 2019 and i love my apartment. It is very quiet and peaceful here. I would love to invite all of my friends and family over to visit. The office staff is nice and i got an chance to meet Mrs. Winea and she is so nice and polite. I'm glad we have an new management company i am thrilled to be at the savoy's. Thank you so much for being patient and helping me guys!

I love it here
Sandra and Ronicka have helped me do soo MUCH,,,Mrs. Winea is visiting from a sister property and she is so helpful as well. I love her energy and her personality , ,,I love it here no complaints,,,no problems,,, Sandra’s tough but sweet,,, and Ronicka helped set up my portal and Winea is just the icing on the cake,,, Thank you so much ladies…..

Excellent Customer Service
I went into the office at the SAVOY and I met Mrs. Wines and when I spoke to her about my rent she was very helpful in assisting me with my account. She is the sweetest person I've meet and I would love to come into the office and have someone like her help me. I thought that she was the manager but she stated that she wasn't well she needs to be because she is one of an kind!!! Thank you so much Mrs. Wines for everything!

Excellent customer service
I called the property spoke with a person and received information. Winea called me back and invited me in for a tour. She was very accommodating. When I arrived she was very nice and professional with a bubbly personality.

Best apartment I have ever lived in. Tiana and Melissa really care about the property and the residents. They are always there to help. I have never had a problem with Maintenance. They are always quick to fix things. I resigned my lease. I have enjoy my stay here at the Savoy. Best place with affordable rent

4/3/20 Sad when you love where u live but not how! Old and not taken care of! Have to pay for pest control yet you have to request it! YES I WANT IT!! I have water leaks, ants, and roaches!! Been here sines July..now because of the Corona.. No relief during this lease. Your not a customer here just a rent check! Sad very sad, because my happiness does not matter! Truth! My apartment looks nothing like those pictures!!! Weird! The Pool nasty and not cared for.

It started off great, but now this garbage issue needs to be resolved asap!!! See the picture for yourself. Do you want to live like this? It looks like a landfill outside my apartment. It's been like this for 2 months. Now Xmas is coming, then what??? I placed a request for my tub to be resurfaced. I haven't heard anything back for two weeks. Maintenance left a note saying "In Progress". Really??? Madera doesn't care about the residents.

This is the second apartment I have lived in since I moved to Texas, and had it been the first I would have left the state immediately. Where to begin? Let's start with the staff: The staff are totally unprofessional, most of them not being familiar with policies or unwilling to find them out. It took them days to get back to us when we had questions, and more often than not we would have to bug them repeatedly. The maintenance crew is a joke, we had multiple issues in the apartment over the two years we were here and few were resolved; not only that, but it took them days to come out and fix things (a week in one instance). Our toilet has run constantly for two years. The property manager exhibits fake sincerity while being totally unwilling to work with tenants; totally inflexible. During the holidays, they will remove a day for paying rent instead of giving tenants an additional day to pay. The grounds: The new property owners poured an absurd amount of money into remodeling the exteriors of the community, while totally ignoring the interiors (when we moved in, the carpets had not been replaced and were covered in cat hair). Perhaps this remodeling is the reason our rent shot up 15% ($775/mo to $892/mo), making a 2-bedroom nearly unaffordable for a single-income household. In addition, in the last year, the pool has only been open for a total of one week; for what I paid, that is unacceptable. Safety and cleanliness: The smoking of marijuana on the property is commonplace, and we are pretty sure that we have watched drug deals go down on more than one occasion; dogs are allowed to run wild, and there were roaches in our apartment frequently. Last summer, our A/C broke down, and they refused to come out and look at it for two days, and then it took them nearly a week to replace it. They moved us into an empty apartment for a week just so we could sleep (it was in the 100s in degrees), and refused to give us any credit or compensation for the trouble. The chimney leaked repeatedly. Noise: Noise isn't too bad if you're on the good side of the complex. We were lucky and had good neighbors. They are the only thing I will miss about this place. Overall: Run. Run far away from this place, it is a pit of despair and misery.

I have just moved in. I want to send Kudos to Mia(manager) and Deja(leasing agent) on how they resolved my move-in issues that were created from the previous management. They went above and beyond on getting the issue quickly resolved which resulted in a very satisfied tenant. I would recommend these apartments to my peers. Keep up the great work!!!

I AM A RESIDENT HERE AND THE NEW MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE IS NOT DOING A GOOD JOB. THE MANAGER BEFORE THIS ONE WAS ON HER GAME. HAVE PLACED NUMEROUS WORK ORDER IN A MONTH AGO AND THEY SAID WILL FIX IT. AS OF TODAY THE PROBLEM IS STILL NOT FIX! THERE IS ONLY TWO MAINTENANCE ON PROPERTY AND THIS IS A SMALL PROPERTY. THE OFFICE STAFF IS NOT FRIENDLY OR COURTEOUS. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY ( THE SAVOYS) TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS NOR FAMILY

We have lived here a while.Since we moved in, they have always kept the place up, but the owners have also upgraded the security lighting. That is greatly appeciated! But truly, it is the people that make the difference. Our interaction with the Mia, the manager, the rest of the staff, and the head maintainance person, Freddy, is excellent. Actually, after a long day of traveling to Dallas, stressful events, and the long drive back, we walked into an 80 degree apartments. After about and hour and a half, Freddy had us up and cooling. What a great team, and we are extremely happy with their efforts! Thank you for taking care of us.

These apartments used to be good, but they sold the property recently and have a new manager. I was supposed to transfer to a two bedroom end of January, had put down a $250 deposit. Was all set to move in. Mia called me the day before I was supposed to sign my lease and had me come in early to sign. I got there and she was running a muck, papers all over her desk, not organized at all. She finally got my lease together and I started to sign, and I noticed someone else's name on it. Then she FINALLY got my actual lease together and after I had signed it, this happened...Then Mia came along and said they would not let me transfer because I had bed bugs. I had none. I had not been bitten. I was told I would get my deposit back, but here we are in the middle of March and I still have not received my refund. She has screwed me out of my $450 deposit I had put down when I moved in over two years ago by making me pay for bed bug treatment. I have had problems with ants since the day I moved in and they wouldn't get that under control. I am still fighting to get my money back. Total nonsense. Back when Sloan was here, this was a wonderful and beautiful apartment complex. Now, it's going down hill.

I've lived here for almost a year now. I like the area because this complex is not on the main street of Hulen, but rather are tucked away into a residential neighborhood. They are close to restaurants and grocery stores, and just a few minutes from the highway. These apartments aren't the newest or the fanciest but when I moved in everything was super clean and my unit had brand new carpet and counter tops. The cabinets are quite old and beat up but I can look past that. Love my fireplace and I have two balconies. Before move in the oven and toilet seat were broken and they were fixed before I moved in a day later. Maintenance seems on top of things, and the few times I've needed them they usually come by the next day. The only issue I've had is AC, as I said these are older units so issues aren't surprising. It was blowing hot air and was fixed quickly. The office staff seems very nice. I don't use the pool, gym or laundry facilities but they appear to be clean and safe. The complex is very well lit and open, which is important to me as a single woman who comes home after dark. Also, parking for residents is great, I always have a spot near my unit. However, guest parking kind of sucks, there are only a few marked spaces for many buildings, so people frequently take up resident spaces with no consequences. Kind of frustrating. The complex is not gated but I have never felt unsafe and have never seen anything dangerous looking. A couple loud parties but that's to be expected anywhere. Really there's lots of families. One complaint I do have is sometimes the dumpsters get quite full (overflowing) and it can be quite unattractive. All in all, I've enjoyed living here and have had very few minor, typical apartment problems. I'm getting great value for what I'm paying. I'm going to resign a shorter lease (will be moving out to live with my fiance) and unfortunately they are increasing my rent over $100, but that's still putting me under $700 for a two bed one bath, can't really complain!!

I moved here in March of this year. So far I haven't had any problems with this property. Staff is friendly and seem like they genuinely care about their residents. Maintanence usually responds the same day. Grounds are always clean and maintained. Neighbors are friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone.

I have one bounced check on my criminal record, which is a misdemeanor. ------, the apartment manager insisted that I should apply for an apartment, because I don't have a felony. She assured me my application would be accepted, because I told her the truth. The next day, I was denied, so they kept my $90 application fee and "admin fee". She told me it was my fault, for not reading the fine print. I was stolen from and lied to. Good luck!
