I have nothing bad to say. This property has served its purpose for me and my family. The leasing team ,maintenance, & property manager go out their way to keep the property clean and peaceful. There has been a few times I've left my garage opened and not one thing missing. It's peaceful,clean,friendly and affordable. The maintenance can run a little slow at times due to the many request or short staff. Once they come the problem is fixed. If your looking for a residence to make your home before buying a house I recommend this spacious and convenient place!

This community is very nice and peaceful. Thank you to the amazing staff at the front office. Maintenance and property staff are always happy and go above and beyond to get the job done. I look forward to staying here for a while.

Now that Tresa is managing my stay has become a lot easier and things get done at a great rate, she is great at informing residents of new changes and always available when needed I'm happy to say that my stay is more comfortable then ever...the staff is doing a great job...keep up the great work

My aunt wanted to move here and told me about the rating...I been here several years there have been some I see it has made total improvements to the property...I don't see what has been posted....I did notice that several people are being evicted I saw the iterms on the you want your police department it's open records to the public ....I there isn't one murder case break ins who do you for the lady in the office has been there for a while that's very like her company see her doing a good you can move or renew each year why you didn't move if it's so people need to rate you on your you have for the kids it's a family Property make yours go the problem is you up the good work Tressa you have done wonderful ;s probably the wild dogs you had to evict....I sign my name out of truth....Kelley

NEVER MOVE HERE!!! EVERYTHING PREVIOUS TENANTS HAVE SAID IS TRUE!!! Those positive Reviews are a joke! They are coming from people who are in good with Tressa or previous management! Kids are completely unsupervised! They have been 4 Murders here. Cars are always getting broken into. Drug dealings; illegal gambling! This place is a poorly dressed up ------! If you like mess, then welcome home! But if you're a positive citizen and want to raise your family in a good environment this is not the place! The police will tell you how dangerous these Apartments are! I'm glad I have moved on from there! The maintenance is good and the new manager can only do so much! Good luck if you decide to try it out. Please make sure you have your license your to carry, because you will need it! Oh yeah parking is another problem. Don't say you haven't been warned!

I lived in these apartments for 3 years. They were ok at first, but the fights, drugs and shooting came during the summer. Roaches have taken over they never close the gates so any an everybody comes in. Drug dealers p*****g in the hallways. Beer bottles, herion bags, pipes and so much other things going on a night. Management know who they are but does nothing. This is not a place for anyone they need to shut down these apartments. The police will even tell you these are the worst Apartments in Grand prairie. DO NOT MOVE HERE BEWARE.

I lived at Prairie Ranch for almost 4 years and I loved my apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious for a one bedroom and pretty new, all at a really decent price. Now the complex is nice but tends to get dirty from people littering. And i read a few of the other reviews, yes the pool has a tendency not to be open too often and the gates almost never closed. As in many complexs the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors if they make noise and kids do tend to run amuck, make noise and act up as well. But honestly people keep claiming how terrible it is there but dont forget guys it is section 8 housing not the ritz so maybe lower your idea of luxury a bit and step into reality. You get what you pay for. Maintenence is pretty slow to action so if you can fix it yourself you might as well. Parking isnt too bad especially if you opt for a covered parking then you'll almost always find a spot. Now to address management...Marnivel is okay. I never had an issue with her. And Tressa is getting waaaaaay too much negativity on here. She is a sweetheart! She was nothing but helpful and kind to me from the day I went to view the complex to way after I moved out. She treated me with the utmost respect and I never once saw her disrespect anyone. So cut her some slack. Now if you need a starter apartment or are lucky enough to get government assistence then I would totally recommend moving here. If your uptight and get offended by the fact that your neighbors smoke weed then by all means skip right over Prairie Ranch.

Tressa and Marivel will move you in quickly only because these apts are so ------ if you are on housing please be prepared to be disrespected and treated unfair. Tressa Tate will beg for money and foodstamps and whatever else she can get the apts are very spacious but roaches will appear out of no where Marivel exact words were "we got new management so we can evict whoever we want" please be careful leasing here not everyone's experience will be bad but the kids are very unruly and it is drug apts over there the parking is horrible and I feel like no background checks are done I can't write so much more but HORRIBLE WILL SUM IT UP FOR NOW

Due to Mangmt Staff in the office, this is one of the most dangerous and worse places to live. Sad but true! Managt will trade your rent off if you have public asst, such as food stamps, etc. They have no clue which garage they rent out to you, breeze ways are terribly nasty, trash everywhere. Police are called almost everyday for crime, domestic abuse, etc. People have bn murdered out here, apts, garages broken into. The city code enforcements need to be called, and the tenants need to bond togthr, called the news station, pickit, do whtevr you hve to do, so that enough attention can be drawn to the property owners, to do something about this. This is affecting the communty and has brought property values around the area down.

Let me start off by saying I'm very blessed to have a place to call home. I love my apt its spacious clean very lovely but when I go outside thats a whole other story. The breezeway & stairs are filthy. It's too many ------ people have moved in. Hood rats & their lil mice make living here a nightmare . Parking is a nightmare I have to park in visitor parking while the hood rats dope dealing baby daddys or Johns take all the resident parking. I moved in this area because its suppose to be racially diverse but all u see are ------ & -------- a few Asians & whites but mostly black. The people here aren't friendly u try to speak & they look @ u like u got sh@@ on u. The crime is ridiculous since I've been here there have been 2 murders numerous break ins, car theft, domestic disputes & gang activity. Don't get me started on the dope traps. The managers know all of this & do nothing. Tressa is the one letting all the riff raff in. If they get rid of her people would see a change in these apts . If u want to live in the hood then this is ur place if not keep it moving. Maintenance they trifling we use to have a professional crew who wore uniforms & name badges. Now just some -------- who pretend they can barely speak English. So if u like all this welcome if not like I said keep it moving

I'm not sure where to start first but will get to the point. The apartment looks good from the outside but is very cheaply made on the inside. The noise is awful from the person above me. They stomp all night until 3am. And wonder why I'm not so friendly. As far as parking it's ok. The garages are a joke from what I've heard. Thieves are on the rise breaking in cars and garages. And if u have covered parking, your car is not safe their either because they will still break in. The tow trucks are very thirsty towing everything. I see them all the time. I think the office staff gets a cut of the money from towed vehicles. I know a person in that line of work that has tld me all about it. That's very dirty and rachett. But by looking at management I expect that. Tressa tries to act like she's cool but she's a snake in the grass, and a visible one at that. Acting all hood talking about fights, drama,men and so called accomplishments. Lol she's just a regular old ----- that has only a little something that has blowed her mind. People that have never had anything always act this way..sooo funny. The manager is sneaky too. I dnt know why she's the manager when tressa is always making decisions.

Apts themselves are nice, but Tressa n Marivel ARENT worth nothin, very 2 face n will lie 2 u. If your renting a garage they keep the money for themselves n they dont even know what garages they have rented out. Shootings, break ins, fights n drug exchanges n the parking lot n the middle of the day. Police is ALWAYS out there, I WLD NOT recommend NO1 to live on this property. The property wld have more money to fix things if these 2 office ppl wld b honest. I cld not wait 4 when my lease was up to get out of that place.

Thought these apartments where so nice driving by! Management is ok. The problem is the bad --- kids everywhere throwing trash like paper, food wrappers, bottles on the lawn,steps and breezeways, VERY VERY PORR UPKEEP. Trash are is nasty and filled with cats and possums. They say no pets allowed but folks got pets. Then people out here fighting and stabbing each other, police always here...and nobody has a care they think its cute! It seems to only happen in the back of these apartments. Im so counting the days until my lease is up! Management need to get this mess together!!!! DONT RENT HERE!!!!! RUN!!!!!! AS!!! FAST!!! AS U CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they would get better management and rules this apartments could be OK they have a manager thatvis undercover illegal in all her ways madbella and Tresses they work hand in hand stilling from residents how theybwork.is they make up fee and charges to pocket funds but if you aren't for there wrongness they see you as a threat and they will find a way to try to harras you with unknown fees of all source and they dobillegal transactions with the residents buying government benefits allowing them to trade things that dontbelong to them. The office staff feel that the recent break-ins are just a part of everyday living. In the past month, about 5 people have had their homes burglarized. If you have a flat screen tv, you'd better get rid of it. Muggings, car jackings, lack of maintenance and having your storag room door/ garage door/ or front door kicked open are the normal thing around these parts. Getting out asap.

the daughter of the assist manager is getting most of the reffals because she tells them what name to put. also there are not suppose to be pets there is .there are people living here under different names and different social secruity numbers .because some people make to much money so she would use the lower income .Also if u check the dates there hasnt been a lot of reviews.the last past year is when i moved to a different building and there has been 4 killings and 3-4 shottings but they dont want to let people out of there lease when people are scare for there lives and i feel maybe since we cant get any help from corp.and these office team members are always siding with there friends maybe we need to call a higher power and no weapon form agaist me shall prosper!!!!!you messing with the lords child but he will sent a form of help!!!!thank you lord also i'm think about contacting the news.

Horrible Place

I thank God for a place to live and very greatful but this place is horrible and I am ready to move, They have new management but i'm still not seeing anything new going on, the managment is lazy and I think they should either fire all the staff and get new ones or tear down the apts. Kids are always outside past 8:00 p.m. that need to be at home and getting ready for school the next day, Thugs are always handing out and doing things that they shouldn't be doing. A lot of crime has happened this past 2 months and i'm scared to go outside at night or in the mornings when I have to go to work. You can hear everything that both of my neighbors are doing on each side each time I am home. This apt is a #FAIL and if you are thinking about moving here then RUN far away and don't think twice, the breezways are so dirty and the kids are always playing in the street. There are so many better apts out there and this one should not be your option.

ok i have been looking for an apartment for over a month now and the things that people said on here are crazy ..you all dont have nothing else to do. i have spoken with both of the ladies in the ofice and decided not to listen to this mess and drive over..they staff was wonderful there i moved in and the lady with the scar you all are cowards to go on this website and write anything..thats sad no she didn't get it in bar fight if you think your a bad azz just ask her you all wana write things and hide behind a email grow up kidds this is kidd s$%^^t move one your not mad untill nothing don't go your way get off the enternet and clean up...And stop trying to make people loose their jobs--what goes around comes around don't you have a job..well that day will come back to you...this is some coward mess throw a brick and hide your hand..well i moved in now you bit$^^ches that have a problem move i might need that unit especially if you have a garage....

There seems to be personal issues from people when it comes to staff, even concerning Tressa's scar on her face and honestly it's quite sickening to hear people put their mouth on people and something they don't even know about because YOU never know where life will take YOU. So, to set the record straight for all you commentators, Tressa was in a car accident and almost lost her life. Not a bar fight, and not a scuffle! NOW RUN AND TELL THAT! As far as the property goes, if any issues are brought to them they are handled A.S.A.P.. They are here to do a job, and if you were in their shoes you would be talked about too. From my research, the property is the best looking income based, section 8 property in the area. What people do and who you let into your apartment is your business, so don't blame it on staff. There is crime EVERYWHERE!!! You honestly don't know people when they lease, but if there is something going on that needs to be handled, they will, and if you live on property, you should know this. If something happens they are the first ones to take care of it, if not, it would be a mess and more for you to talk about.
