I have been very happy living here since October 2022. It's very pet friendly and that's important to me! So far it's been pretty quiet and I have good neighbors, everyone seems to be very friendly, I like the size of my kitchen.

ROACHES

I have been here since November. I found my first two roaches a month ago, and let management know. They took a week to come and spray, which gives them plenty of time to spread. They came to spray, and I did not see anymore for a couple of weeks. I then went on a week vacation, and came back 07/17/2023. Upon walking into my apartment, I was greeted with SEVERAL roaches in my apartment. They were in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and my bedroom on the walls! I immediately went down to management, and informed them of what I found. I also took pictures to show the manager, Michelle, and she did not want to see the pictures. It took me emailing them directly to her to even see them, and I got a "Wow!" back in response. I asked what she was going to do, and she said she would come spray the next day. She also informed me that the tenant next door is probably the cause of my issue, and that they were moving out the next day. Why would they let tenants keep their apartment in such a state?? I have her and the exterminator on camera, not spraying the entire apartment and stating they found a roach behind my oven. I have not been able to stay at my apartment since finding them 07/17. I gave the apartment a day to soak in the pesticide he did spray, and came back on Friday, 07/21. I walked in and did not see any big ones, except for the fact they are hiding under my baseboards so I wouldn't see them anyways. I was greeted by baby roaches this day under my kitchen, in my closet, and on my bed! YUCK!! I went back down to the office, and told Michelle about the baby roaches and stated I have photos for her to view. She refused, and stated she did not see any roaches when they sprayed. I have her on video with the exterminator, finding the roach behind my oven! I told her they were in my clothes, and on my bed, and that I am still having to stay elsewhere. She states she did not see them so she cannot do anything. I called Myan Management Group to report this situation, and the region manager Laurie calls me today 07/24. I told her the issue, and she states that because they did not see them they cannot do anything. I told her that this is ridiculous, and demanded for me to be let out of my lease and was told she cannot do that without consequences to myself. She states the exterminator is coming back Thursday, and will report if he sees anything. I told her I would be reporting this entire company and complex to the BBB. That did not seem to phase her, as there are already other reviews on the BBB website for this company. Please stay away from this complex, and save yourself the trouble. I am stuck having to stay elsewhere, and am going to be stuck with replacing my belongings.

It was a great experience while moving in here this month and still looking forward to stay here for next few months. The staff member are nice which helps you whenever you need them and the pool and gym are also good to spend some time.

New management is so good at service. Very helpful. Front desk lady is so helpful too. Whenever asked them for any issues they responded so quickly. I saw lots of changes like putting apartment numbers and labeled all mail boxes properly etc.

We love renting an apartment here. The apartments are spacious, with high ceilings. The maintenance requests are consistently responded to promptly. The management does monthly activities for the residents. One of our favorite new additions is the food trucks that the management has stop by on a couple weekends out of the month!! Parking is not bad and we almost always have close parking to our apartment. Would recommend!

I was asked to make a move from Maryland to Texas for my work and had only one week to prepare for this transition. After reading reviews and comments as well as looking through pictures I choose this location. I was truly anticipating a nightmare with so much to do with so little time but the staff at this complex is by far ahead of its class. Working with them over the phone I received step by step instructions and major support to make all of this work. 21 hours of driving later I arrived at my new location with open arms and keys to my new home. I can't say thank you enough and would like to give a special thank you to BREA. If you need help she is the one to make it happen. Absolutely a perfect disposition for her position.

I like the location an d the concept of having luxury apartments. Moving into a luxury apartment should be a luxury experience. I moved in finding a lot of dog hairs. I have nothing against pets but I don't want dang hair everywhere when I don't own a pet.

The apartment and community seem very nice. Everyone has been very helpful and very nice. I just moved in early October, so I have not been here very long. The traffic is very bad because of the roadwork going on, but that should clear up soon.

I like the community the Neighbors are very friendly I have no problem. Now the ones who have dogs need to clean up after them. I don't have anymore to say. I know it's very quit which is very good and everyone mine their business.

The Brooks is a Quality community. The area is Clean with new appliances and updated decor. The Outdoors is pretty and clean. A dog park is available to meet and greet other furry friends. A beautiful pool to enjoy during the summer months. The gym and community center is very nice. Easy access to freeways and main stores.

The apartment itself is very nice, modern, and updated. The management is what I have an issue with. My AC went out on a Sunday, the office could not answer their phone, had to show up in person multiple times, until finally they got my AC fixed the following Sunday after promising "oh it will be fixed the next day don't worry" every single time I called and they actually answered (it was about a 50/50 chance even though they are supposed to be open). It got to the point where it was hot enough I had to move myself and my cat to other places to stay. It got up to 93 degrees in my apartment. There were no offers to stay anywhere else, no offers to prorate my rent. They pretty much just left me to deal with it. Why am I paying rent for the week I could not even live in my own apartment? I asked the front office for the contact information of the regional manager. I called multiple times to Myan Management, left voicemails, etc. and made sure that they were open when I called. No answer and no call back. No one has done anything to fix this issue. Highly do not recommend these apartments solely because of the fact that the management cannot even answer their phones or be bothered to call back over a serious issue. Extremely disappointed and will not be renewing my lease here.

Nice clean property. I love my apartment and the staff is always friendly. I do have one complaint about leasing an apartment above me with a good size dog with long legs. It sounds like a bunch of kids jumping and running all hours of the day and night. 11pm to 2pm is very long and keeping me up.

The open concept layout is nice. It's a newer apartment complex, so the apartment is in very good condition. The pool area is very nice, as well as the weight/work-out room. Our rent is a little higher compared to comparably sized apartments, but it is worth it to us to be in a more modern, very clean, well- kept place.
