The front office staff and the maintenance people are super friendly and easy to talk to. They're always helpful. I never see trash lying around, and as a single woman, I do feel safe here. The community did not flood in either Imelda or the May flooding. However, I do wish we received notifications when a package arrives. I love the location of this apartment and the layout/amenities. However, I do wish some of the appliances were more modern. I also hope the rent doesn't increase too much with the upcoming mixed-used development The Grid.

Nice, quiet and clean community. I've only been here a few weeks but I love it so much. I love how safe it is and they have a 10pm curfew where PD patrols the grounds after 10pm in order to prevent suspicious activity. Overall 5/5 great place to live!

Everything was fine during the initial paperwork process. The staff was friendly and polite. Everything looked fine during the walk thru, but on move in day, I found out that the apartment was infested with roaches, most especially in the kitchen. I was told that pest control would be called to come by within the next two to three days, but they never came. Finally after the weekend passed and after spending an excessive amount of money on roach spray, I was fed up by then. I called the front office Monday morning, and now pest control should be by tomorrow. It just baffles me that apparently they never called them in the first place when I initially complained about the problem... I feel like some apartment complexes are so rather to turnover a new apartment and get you to sign a contract for a new lease, that things like this are neglected, since they've already gotten you to sign the paperwork. In the end, it's the tenants that suffer.

The compound is quiet and kept up weekly so very clean. Pool is clean as well. No issues with anybody parking in your space. The community is friendly and the staff is helpful.. The parking floods though if it rains a lot.

The experience was decent. I realize my credit is not the best but the amount of money and time frame they give to collect is horrible. Also, I feel like they just wanted to occupy this apartment asap because it just was not presentable. Especially for the amount of money that is being paid for this apartment.

My boyfriend and I have been living here for 3 weeks and it's been good so far! We live a lot closer to our new jobs and anywhere we want to go is super close by! We love the pool and the atmosphere. Neighbors are friendly and the staff is nice.

Everyone I've met is very sweet and helpful. Community is nice and quiet. Wish there were more available parking spaces though. Parking is limited when you do not have a covered or garage parking spot.

All of the staff is very professional and friendly at this apartment complex. They make sure that they get maintenance out to fix any issues you may have. The only problem I have is the parking. There are times where I'm not able to park close to my unit but other than that, it's a quite, nice complex to call home.

So far we have been very satisfied with our apartment at Villages at Kirkwood. We have lived there for 7 months now. It is large enough and receives a lot of light, which is important to us. The complex is quiet, safe, and mostly well kept. Maintenance calls are taken seriously and resolved promptly, even they replaced the refrigerator by a brand new one on 2nd complain about the ice maker. Admin staff have been always kind and willing to help with a smile. Amenities are just what you get used to expect - a basic gym & pool, dog area. Landscape well groomed. Parking space could be better, but I think that is a common problem in communities alike. Location is a great factor: close to supermarkets, good restaurants, movie complex, stores - while Murphy Rd with all kind of service shops is just around. Quick access to Alt-90 and 59 makes your trip to Sugar Land or Houston a breeze.

It has been great. My community is quiet. The staff responds quickly. The maintenance respond quickly. My packages are always in the office. Its clean. My neighbors are friendly. I do wish we had valet trash and better performing appliances. I am still appreciative of the feature such as washer and dryers, most apartments no longer offer this luxury. I love it!

I am disappointed with my experience so far at Villages of Kirkwood. I moved in a little over a week ago. When my husband and I first visited the complex, we were shown the model apartment which does look really nice compared to the actual apartments. We were interested in a one bedroom apartment with a studio and it wasn't ready to see when we first came. Office did not call whenever the apartment was ready, I had to call a couple of times to ask about it. By the time we decided to apply, 2 units were available, however we never go the call to come see them first. Upon applying we get a phone call stating that the information came up mixed up and they needed more details. The day after I get an email stating that something came up on my background check, just to find out that they were looking at another person's background check with similar name and same date of birth. Their explanation was that they started using a new system. They initially declined my application after looking at another woman with a different name than mine, but same date of birth... Parking is a a nightmare at night. Be prepared to walk. The floors are warped and uneven. The maintenance people play loud music at night. There are chronic potholes. The front office does not notify you when you get a package.

Nice place to live. Quiet and feels safe. I have a dog and no problems there. I have a garage - but I hear that parking may be an issue if you do not have a reserved space. Pay for the parking - it is worth it!

Most things are great. Management is great and so polite. Maintance is quick and courteous. Having security out at times is awesome. The only thing that is upsetting about this place is the fact that parking sucks. There just isn't enough spots. Paying for covered parking shouldn't be a thing. We shouldn't have to pay more for parking in additional to rent. It's ridiculous. If it wasn't for that these apartments would be perfect.
