In general the experience is positive because i like this area for living. The bus station is here and is suportive for the people that are new in town and dont have a car yet, like us. The people are friendly too.

The apartments are very spacious and allow for a lot of storage along with living spaces. The maintenance of the building is very quick to resolve any issues that you report. Neighbors are friendly and keep privately to themselves.

Although this is an older building they do a great job of implementing community improvements since I've moved in back in 2018. This is a convenient location to live in and even though this is an apartment there is a strong sense of community and tons of resources near by i.e. Capital Bike Share, Restaurants, convenience stores, Grocery Stores and Boutiques.

If you want a peace of mind, Wood Lee Arms is the way to go! The convenience I have being literally 15 minutes from Washington is phenomenal!(Especially if you work there). The rooms here have so much space for an apartment. Thats the main thing that sold us. The staff in the building are very patient and courteous to residents which is an important plus for me. Maintenance staff are quick on the job here with all issues. If we don't purchase our home in December, we are definitely renewing our lease!

Wood Lee Arms is a great community that I have personally recommended to friends and family. The leasing staff provides quality customer service to the residents. Jasmine (Leasing Staff), has been very helpful to me on many occasions since she's been at Wood Lee Arms. The Community Manager, Carlos is professional and work well with the residents. The community is pretty quiet, the walls work well in the apartment.The parking is limited but free for Wood Lee Arms residents and guest.

The manager is unresponsive or not timely in response to emails, parks in handicap parking, and the office door is shut 95% of the time. Maintenance is not prompt. Packages are often stolen because they are thrown in the front lobby and seen from the road.

Great place to live: location and price are great. The staff try their best to accommodate everyone's needs. Maintenance takes a little long sometimes and the heater/ac in the master bedroom isn't always working but the apartment gave me a heater. The parking lot is big, but it gets filled up later at night.

The office staff here is amazing, very accommodating and responsive! Also the building is on the upswing, they are doing slot of new rennovations making this older building look a lot better! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but very close to ballston and Clarendon where more activity is. And it's a great price for the 1 bedroom square footage

Worst apartment ever! Cockroaches every where including hallways, elevator, bedrooms and living areas. They only fix what's necessary otherwise, you're on your own. Smoke detector randomly goes off even in the middle of the night for no reason! Walls, ceilings and doors have layers and layers of cheap paint. Pipes always leak and issues with sewage and drainage back up occurs frequently, and they will not reimburse for personal property damage. Beware before living here!

Before I signed the lease on 6/6/16, I was told the bedroom closet doors would be changed to sliding doors and the entrance door with new lock would be installed, but now they are not going to change anything. The door lock isn't working and I am 71 and in poor health and I do not feel safe at night.

Wood Lee Arms is a great apartment building. It doesn't have anything fancy, but hits all the right spots for me. It hits the perfect balance of being close, but not too close to Ballston and Clarendon, and you can't beat the rent! The building is clean and Rhonda is very attentive to whatever you need.

Visited this place about a month ago. The manager, Rhonda, is an absolute angel. I was a prospective resident in a super ambiguous and stressful moving out situation. Even hearing her voice on the phone was calming. She showed me 3 different apartments, all wonderful. Grounds were well kept, area was off the hook. I just couldn't afford to live here because the idiot who was supposed to room with me bailed (Craiglist for ya!). I'd recommend to anyone. Was a great place.

I really love this apartment. Rhonda knows every resident and I never have to remind her of my apartment number. She takes an interest in everyone in the building, and maintenance issues are always addressed quickly and seriously. I'm very happy here.

The build seems to be filled with a nice cross section of friendly people. Since I have been here less than a week I don;t know too much about the community. I have been doing alot of unpacking and cleaning up. I do not own a car so I will be exploring the neighborhood. My daughter and grandson like it here when they visit.

Rhonda is great! This complex definitely has the best manager by far! I am very satisfied with the kindness and diligence offered by the apartments staff. I love the location this complex is located in and feel safe wherever I go. Plus, there is a Starbucks and a wonderful pastry shop located right next door!

It's just "fun" living here! There's diversity, life, places to eat and walk, buses, parks. There's access to the Community Manager and/or a "substitute" six days a weeks. The maintenance personnel lives in an apartment on the site. I moved in in 1998.
