Hard to find parking in front of building unless you are home before 5:30. Noise can be loud from people playing stereos. For being a non-smoking community I sure do smell a lot of weed being smoked. See people on the pet area smoking. But I guess better there then inside their apartment.

At first I was happy in my apartment, after a year everything changed, it smells like marijuana all the time, neighbors fight every night at late hours, you can't rest very noisily, poor management sadly.

At first it was great. Moved into a gated community, close to the freeway and safe. Apex West Hill turned into Avana West Hill and the pool has never been fixed since they bought over, the gates got removed, all sorts of bugs entering the apartments. Been fighting roaches since December 2023 and it is not June 2024 and situation has not been attended to. I get off at 530 and most days, office is closed by the time I get home. When we call, other apartments answer and take messages for our leasing office. Maintenance takes forever, burglaries and suspicious activities all over this apartment. Manager Tracy and Mariah are horrible at taking accountability for their lack of efforts around the community but get defensive when when they are questioned. Video recording residents who are expressing concerns and frustration. Too much to handle I wish I could leave, but I'll get charged to break my lease.

I really hope Avana could put back the surveillance camera that was at the front Gates. I also hope we could get our closed gate back it would make us feel more comfortable with knowing nobody could access the complex accept for the residents. I have had my car vandalized during my stay here. This is why the cameras and the gate is important to me.

Not worth your hardworking money! If you want to live in a place that charges you over 250 for amenities and all they offer is a grilling station and gym, by all means you'll love this place. They will raise your rent based on how other apartments are raising their rent even if your unit is not even worth its price and has outdated appliances.

I'm unimpressed, the pool has been closed, they took out childrens play area and haven't replaced it, They don't do regular community events. I have had issues with management where they were rude and disrespectful.

The area is great! It's tucked away on the hill surrounded by many trees. The grounds keeper does a great job of keeping the place clean might I add! Staff is friendly and easy to talk to. The buildings are a little older but have been renovated. I like it so far!

I love living at Avana West Hill. I have lived here for 14 years and have not had any problems. It's a great area and the community has always been very well maintained. I realize that a lot can happen with a big complex like this one, but overall my experience has been a positive one. The only thing I would suggest is put the apartment numbers around the outside of the building so the delivery drivers like Amazon for instance can find you. Many times I've had deliveries and the drivers get lost because they cant see the apartment numbers from their vehicles. Thanks!

Prices are poor for what you get. The gate has been broken for over a year so people who don't live here utilize our dumpsters that we pay for and at least 1 vehicle was stolen because of inoperable gates. Maintenance and workers who are renovating apartments utilize handicap parking without handicap stickers. Management should inform them not to utilize front row parking and instead use visitor parking

The amenities I am paying and the gym are always closed. The pool has been closed off for repairs. The apartment utilities are ridiculous and always high. The office rep had no help, and the maintenance guy older gentleman worst worker in my life, he's very lazy and complained a lot. With the rate of my apartment, I hope they do not raise my rent for that's crazy

Avana West Hills is beautiful from the outside and alright on the inside, Management is a little hard to get a hold of and when emails are sent out,?it’s being sent from a totally different property which they also own and does not pertain to anything that’s happening in our complex. Maintenance is horrible and the parking lot is flooded with garbage and debris, especially on the weekends. I called in an emergency maintenance request eight days ago for a vandalize living room window, which is propped open, and the screen is kicked out of it, as of this eighth day, it is still not fixed. The entire apartment is vandalizing. It’s impossible to be there or to live in there, because of the 911 coal that was made twice within the same week.

AVANA WEST is a nice place to live compared with other places I visited. The issue I had with my rent is solved now because I pay my full amount every month no balance so that I don't get fake bill anymore. I love AVANA WEST clean and alot of parking, our cars are safe and you can see the parking lot when in your house it's a beautiful design

We've been here a year now. It's been a decent experience with a couple of exceptions. The amenities shown on the website when we were apartment hunting were not available during our rental time so far due to a major renovation, still in progress. I feel like we're still paying for something that was not actually a feature we could utilize. Management seems fine with allowing the dumpsters and recycling bins to overflow without being picked up by their vendors. This does not add to the experience of living in an attractive environment. Finally, the fact that they raised our rent by 15% after our first year of renting there has left us with a very bad taste in our mouths.

I have ask to maintenance, to fix the burners of my stove but they don't fix it, they just check that they work and then they leave, I talked with the manager she told me to buy the burners and just replace it by myself.

Lovely scenery. The master bedroom is amazing. The building unit system is the best I've seen. That along with the layout of the apartment complex makes it very easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and professional.

My experience living here has been OK a little minor issues not much for the kids to do the apartments. Have a lot of things that break or don't work but I am currently still living here since 2018 as of 2022.
