Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. You can't take a walk without people saying "HI" to you. The maintenance people here are awesome. I've never lived anywhere that they take very good care of the grounds. Greg and Joy ,the managers, are willing to help and understanding and easy to talk too. I would recommend taking a look at the apartments. They are old but nice

Overall staff is friendly and helpful but office hours are very limited, there are long delays with non-emergency maintenance issues and the value for rent is just not equal. Water is now being charged in addition to the monthly rent. And that is calculated based on the average of our entire building, not personal use. Their website is nice in terms of a communication tool, but fees are outrageous if you are not doing an EFT. Also, the design of the payment portion of the site is oddly done and can lead to confusion, including showing payments as "canceled" when they are actually pending and processing.

Greg and Joy are truly the best. I don't think that there could possibly be a nicer apartment complex in the Milwaukee area. The location is great, the neighbors are friendly and considerate. The pool is always crystal clear and clean.

This is a great place to live in; quiet, secure and clean. Property manager can be sometimes too petty, treating tenants like they were foals or that they needs are insignificant. Other than that, experience it's been great.

It has gotten significantly worse since I have been here, they added poorly done speedbumps that are atrocious to go over even when not hitting the gas at all which causes unnecessary wear and tear to everyone's cars shocks and suspension, they put in dog clean up stations but removed them even though they were being utilized frequently, they raise the rent every single year but all of the appliances are still old and on top of that they have stated that they will no longer have any utilities previously included in the rent you pay included if you resign with them. The gym carpet is torn up and some of the machines are falling apart. It is ridiculous to charge as much as they are charging and continuously increasing the rent and including less utilities every year when nothing has been done to increase the value of the apartments. They are old, my deck paint is peeling up and sharp and warped and the dishwasher leaves a white film on all my dishes that cannot be removed and has ruined some of my good crystal glasses.

The complex is fine. Management is communicative and maintenance is quick. The neighbors are friendly, there aren't any bug or rodent problems I am aware of. However, there is an upcharge for every amenity - pool, parking, gym, etc.

I enjoy being in my own place, not having to walk down hallways of doors. I do feel that the model apartments are better kept up than where I ended up. Management gave their suggestions about steps and such but did not point out the problem difference of noise, like children, traffic, and dumpsters. I wonder love to know management's plans for upkeep, like when windows are to be replaced, or handrails/bars be added to doorways as the steps are very high to get into houses and decks, etc. These are not a list of immediate needs but wonder where things are headed with the apartment as I continue making decisions about where I will choose to live in the future.

They knew exactly what I wanted. I work nights, they found me an upper corner 1 bedroom with a huge balcony. Fridge/washer/dryer/dish washer, the heat is free. I park underground, which is great. (Who wants to scrape off a car in the winter?) The staff is on top of everything. They are always doing something daily. (Landscaping/Mowing/etc.) Something breaks down, they are on in right away. Great fitness center, outdoor pool, and a fenced in dog park. I'm very happy here.

The community is quiet and generally friendly. I appreciate the clean landscaping and quick maintenance. I wish that there was a bit less smoking, as I can only open my windows every so often otherwise I will get weed and cigarette smoke in my own apartment.

Been living @ Briarwick for 6yrs now & I'm still enjoying being a part of the community. Everyone is so friendly. The grounds are always well maintained. Love that I can have my flower's & vegetables right outside my own private entrance..I would highly recommend Briarwick apts.

I have enjoyed living here for several years. I love that there is a pool and a small gym, though the gym is quite small. I do hope someday the gym can be expanded. But it's nice to have something. The area is safe and there is a walking trail a block away that I enjoy walking on during the warmer months. This place is also close to various places for shopping and groceries so you don't feel too disconnected, but it's far enough away to give a bit of a suburban feel almost.

I love the peace and quiet here in our community and the exercise facility, the convenience of the shopping centers and gas stations in the area. I only wish that my apartment was renovated with a modern tub and shower, kitchen cabinets and countertops in the bathroom just a more modern apartment with more insulation in the floors and walls. Because you can hear everything going on in the apartment upstairs and next door to you it's no real privacy.

Location is great; freeways, stores, and businesses near by. Love the private entrance and the ability to add to my outdoor landscaping. My down fall is that they use to be more gracious to include water. I'm worried that as they were different amongst other companies that they will start adding in the additional charges to what once was included. I'm a single lady just making it and really hope they keep expenses affordable. Keeping up with the lease increases and the additional add ons is making it hard for me. My wage has not increased because I capped at my position.

Pretty good experience. No problems, clean, lawn maintenance is well kept and staff will accommodate any problems with apartment pretty quick. I would recommend this area to anyone if you like peace and quiet.

Tldr: it's been most good, 8/10. It's a good community with good people and reasonable prices and a solid location. The experience has generally been good with two big exceptions. One was when I asked about having my rent rate kept the same. The property manager replied that to give me a freeze he'd have to give everyone a freeze under fair housing legislation. Everyone in the complex pays a different rate based on when they signed on due to market rate pricing. And, the fair housing act prohibits making rent changes based on protected class. It does not mean you cannot make agreements on an individual basis. I bring this up because my communities landlord either does not understand the relevant legislation, or they do and lied to me. Neither is great. That said, at least the increase was moderate, and a lot better than the competition. The other is when our roof leaked severely. When I approached the landlord they were slow to reply, replied condescendingly, and yet got impatient with our rate of reply. They fixed the problem sufficiently and in good time, but I wish he had been more tactful.

I love living here, I have had such a wonderful experience so far. Both Joy and Greg are so nice and helpful! I've had one minor issue where my kitchen faucet sprung a pinhole leak. I submitted a maintenance request and I had a new faucet the very next day. The neighbors I've come across have all been really nice. I love the park like setting, the pool and weight room are wonderful, I really enjoy living here.

It's been great, I love this community. It is just a bummer feeling the effects of high increased rent over time. I wish it could reverse itself because with the economy it is hard. It feels worth it but still a change that I have been around to see.

The Briarwick Apts is a nice place to live, a bit pricy for the size of the rooms. The maintenance is excellent they come soon as you put your ticket in and always there to fix the issue. Thet do need to fix more of the parking lots and figure out why they always have so much standing water all the time. I also believe they need to put an end to the big dogs as I see more and more huge piles if dog poop all over the place and owner not holding up to their responsibilities of picking it up. I am a dog owner myself however I have a very small one and I do pick up its only right but I can't even walk the perimeter at night anymore as I slipped on a big pile of dog crap one night so now I can't go out at night in the grass with my dog afraid of stepping in crap again. I also see the garage in #2 does leak alot in heavy snow or rain. Hopefully the roof doesn't cave.

It's an incredibly welcoming community, the kind if idyllic place where people wave to tou as you walk around the sidewalks, where you can see kids playing without care, and people walking their animals, of which there are many here. The staff are friendly and helpful and even host events to bring the community here. My only real issues with the complex have to do more with how often the gym is cleaned, the size of the kitchen in the apartment (not something that can really be changed though), and the width of the entry drive. The other rooms in the apartments are large and wide, leaving for room to grow, which is nice.

Over priced for an average quality apartment. It's dumb that you have to pay an additional amount to get a key for the fitness center and pool. All other apartment complexes I've lived in, that was included.

The apartment was very clean and even though is a one bedroom apartment it has everything that I needed. The room is very clean, big enough for all my bedroom furniture and the closet is wall to wall. Love it!!!! I also like the party room. I rent it three times. Beautiful and has everything you need to have fun with the family. The pool is always clean and very big. All the area is kept clean at all times and all the neighbors are up to their own things. No one bother anyone and is a great place to live. I'm very happy I found it.

After a full year of living here, I intend to continue my residency for a long time. The complex is secluded from traffic and the grounds are kept very nice. If there are ever maintenance concerns, they have been addressed very promptly. It's a really lovely place to live and I would highly recommend it.
