Horrible manager!! She refuse to let you speak with her supervisor when there is a problem. I lived there for 5 years they never cleaned my carpet or painted my walls. And when I tried to move to another apartment they wanted me to start over with a new security deposit. It was several shootings and one murder at the apartment and one shooting right in front of my apartment. Even though I did not renew my lease with them in June they treated me like I broke my lease when I moved out in September. Everyone in my building moved out after the shooting and the new manager Jalisa started moving in anybody. The apartments is not safe even if you don't smoke weed your apartment will smell like weed all day. Still waiting to speak with the Supervisor!!!

Apartment manager sleeps with guys and TENANTS on the property. The roaches are EVERYWHERE! The building is infested with them. The apartment manager is rude. (They need some one older). I will be contacting the higher management because she doesn't need to be working there as a manager period.

I've been staying in these apartments since April of 2016. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Please take your time to find your home. Do not reside here. The staff is horrible. Nasty attitudes! There's a new person in the office every month. They will be nice to you to get you in and to take your rent money. After you sign the lease they really dont care about you. They take forever to handle your requests. I have had roach issues in two different buildings. Bad parking. Residents hit and scratch your cars. Kids are loud outside. Walls are thin, floorboards squeaks bad. I can smell what my neighbors cook in my apartment. Old cabinets that houses pests. Basically horrible experience. Only move here if you dont really care about your living conditions and want to save money. The only plus is reasonable rent (you get what you pay for), washer/dryer in unit and free water. I even referred friends and family here and they all moved out. People are constantly moving out because if the poor management. I will be breaking my lease by doing the lease buyout agreement because they do not deserve anymore of my hard earned money for the crappy living you deal with.

I recently moved in a couple months ago . It seems like a nice place to stay in the beginning . I really don't have any problems with my neighbors but management is a totally different situation. My wall plugs didn't work, my hot water was only staying hot for two or three mintues, and when I called to get this fixed maintenance takes their sweet time to come and fix things oh yes my plugs still don't work. Management is always trying to put an extra charge on rent such as late fees , the communication is horrible between management and resident .

Moved in here April 2014 and was immediately counting down the days until my lease was up. Management was extremely helpful when I had to move in at such short notice, but they've gone through two complete sets of office staff since then. Noise is a big problem here. I've complained multiple times about our neighbor who likes to play the bass between the hours of 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. when I'm always trying to sleep. People are ALWAYS sitting in the parking lot playing music. The gate will stay open for a month straight and all of a sudden be shut one day. No consistency. It was filthy when I moved in..I had to wipe down every shelf. The bottom under the sink is caved in..so everything I put down falls over and rolls to the middle. The knobs on the stove are made of plastic and melt when you have the oven on too long. Wasps are a big problem when the weather gets warm..and I've complained about them getting in through the sliding glass door many times with nothing being resolved. Oh yeah, and someone was shot and killed here. I know management or the complex itself can have no control over that, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't make your safety and comfort feel compromised.

I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone. My dryer has almost caught on fire and I haven't been able to use it for 3 weeks as I'm currently writing this. I've told management and nothing has been done. I was told by the previous manager that it was ok for me to have a dog because I wanted one for safety reasons considering apartments and cars get broken into frequently but now with a new manager she said I couldn't have one even though I've seen numerous resident with dogs at the complex. My ceiling has been peeling off due to a leaky dishwasher in the apartment above mine which I told them about November of last year has not been fixed when I even showed them a picture of it. Did I mention a resident was shot last year as well. The security gate is a joke because it is constantly broken so who know who can come and go as they please. The new manager lets herself in without giving the required 24 hour notice of entry. This place is an unsafe joke . Please if you read this don't move in even if you are desperate.

This is a terrifying place to live. I moved to Little Rock for the first time, and my main concern was safety. Before I moved in, I asked the manager if they have had any police calls or incidences in the last several months. She said no, and that it was a very safe place to live. Within two weeks of living there, I quickly realized I'd been lied to. I requested a Freedom of Information act from the LR PD to see how many police calls had been made, and there were 124 incident reports filed from that apartment complex in one year's time. Everything from burglary to assault to car break ins and there aren't very many units on the property. Since I moved out, Beacon Hill has been in the news twice for shootings. I had to break my 12 month lease early because I was too scared to go to sleep. If you are on a budget like I was and this apartment complex has caught your attention, keep looking!

I move in Beacon Hill 1/26/12013, it was ok, but now I have one problem my renew was up and remember in February we had snow days, I spoken with a staff member and she said since I'm not going to renew my lease I have to go month to month so bring $30 in, ok then two days later I call her back and told her I want to do a six month lease which suppose to be $15 more and one of the staff member said well the office change it, it will be $75 more to go six months, I told her my notice I got on my door didn't say that and she said they just change it so the staff member said it would be best if you go a year and your rent will be the same so I sign a year lease didn't get my ten dollars off and the staff member told me the $30 I paid apply that to March rent since I sign a year lease now I'm getting notice saying I own $34, and the office can't do anything about it cause my lease was not sign until February 7, 12014 and the staff member said that was fine just pay the remain balance for March and that is not what happen they want more money that are a be rip off and never put a notice out that 6 months will be $75 more and I still have my notice that said 6 months $15 more and month to month $30 more. A Big Rip Off.

I would not consider living here at all. Just check the police reports for break ins, car break ins, and domestic disturbance calls. Drugs are rampant here. Property is made to look so good on outside but much different inside. The apartments you are shown is not of the quality you will get, how ever by the time you realize this you are in a lease. And don't worry your not charged any extra for the pest or animals that come with your apartment. I am so glad I did my research, before getting an apartment here.

Beacon Hills apts look nice when you first move in. But things gradually turn out pretty bad. I signed a six month lease. If i signed a one month lease i would have been out before the month ended. The apartment was poorly cleaned, poorly painted, bugs in the tub and dishwasher. Refrigerator was disgusting. It looks nice from outside the gate. They do good at maintaining grass and thats about it. My dryer went out within a week. The air conditioner was broken within a month. They told me they replaced it with a brand new one. Except once a week it stopped blowing cool air. I had to leave late at night 5 times within a month and go stay with a friend because the temperature was above 99 degrees. I have pictures of thermometer to prove it. I finally told landlord and they stated they weren't being advised by maintenance of the multiple times ive been calling and its my fault it hasnt been fixed because i havent told management directly. My bills skyrocketed in electric due this broken a/c, and i asked for credit or proration credit due to their lying, and crappy maintenance. They declined. I moved out a month early into a beautiful townhouse in maumelle and paid last months rent. Theywouldnt give the deposit back because they said it was infested with insects. Which was the first problem i came across day 1 at beacon hills.

Beacon Hill is a great living area! Yes every apatment has there ups and downs. I like it and soon abt to move in a two bedoom for a much need space. Just Beacon Hill pay your rent on time and will.not have any problems. Any where you move you are going to a bug every now and then. Go to home depot and get the spray or plug-in wall insect kill!

These apartments are by far the worst, it draws you in because the price is low. But once your there it's a nightmare management doesn't care about anything but rent. The maintenance men are hella lazy and walk into your apartment unannounced, and they don't do ANYTHING AT ALL. Parking let's nor talk about that, it's impossible. It's loud noise and ppl who smoke all the time, I can smell weed all through my apartment because of neighbors! I hate this place with all of my heart!!! I've been broken into and had property stolen, So I advise anyone to walk away you get what you pay for.

Better Keep Truckin
I lived in these apts for 3 yrs, from Aug 08 to Aug 11. Honestly when I first moved in up until the last year or so everything was ok not good but ok.... I ALWAYS had trouble with insects inside the apt, especially those ole Nasty furry centipedes or whatever they are... I would literally wake up to those dang things lurkin at me, and if it wasn't in the bed with me it would b above my head on the ceiling! U tell them to spray for the pest and it's like they are spaying w/ sugar water (as someone has previously stated).. Never really had Ny trouble with the other tenants although pretty much kept to myself. Apts. seriously could stand to be updated and please, PLEASE let's not get started on the so called maintenance crew!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LAZY AND MORE LAZY!!! Oh and don't let me forget not friendly at all and if I'm not mistaken things got terribly worse once particular individuals started working in the office.. Not sure if the actual management changed ? I think it was just the new lady who became in charge later during my residency there.. Many times I would call the office with issues especially after a heavy rain.. Water would just pour in from the patio door and also from the ceiling! Carpet would be soaking wet and all they would do would be to throw a fan in the apt patch up the ceiling and wait for it to rain again so they could do the same thing over instead of solving the problem and treating the carpet the first time. It would get so bad that the wall started mildewing and the whole apt would just smell of mildew wet carpet.. When the water was leaking from the ceiling it threw out the breaker or maybe something else that cause my power to be out on one side of my apt for 2 weeks!!! They even acted like they did not want to fix it even after I would call everyday to tell them "its still not on" just a horrible experience and when my lease was up that last year I could not wait to move my Arse!!! Wouldnt recommend these apts to a dead Dog..... Livin happily in Apts that do know how to run an apt complex!!!

great place to live
Ive lived here almost two years. I am a average white male and my community is mixed. But ive never had any issues with neighbors, noise, or bugs like other reviews say. The gated part of this complex is my favorite thing. Makes me feel very safe. Try and get the 3rd floor apts. They have fireplaces for no extra charge! The only reason id move from here is when im ready to get a 2 bedroom apt. Im just too comfy and cozy in my apt to move lol.

WHAT A MISTAKE
I have been here one month and I am sick out of my mind that I made this decision. I moved here with certain reasons, especially thinking this place would be FANTASTIC, but if I had read the reviews before I moved, I would have been better off staying where I was. It took maintenance a month to come and fix a problem that I stated once I moved in. I could have fixed everything myself. I should have known that this place would be a problem before I moved in, for the simple fact the manger gave me the run around before I moved. I HATE THE FACT THAT I SIGNED A 12 MONTH LEASE HERE.....all I can say is that everything that glitters, definitely isn't gold. I have't experienced anything with security, but I sure hope I dont have to depend on them, from what I hear.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE
my husband and i just recently moved out of this godforsaken place. it is a nightmare from top to bottom. in one year we had least five different leaks, each of which was treated with total lack of concern by the staff. at one point the ceiling was leaking and i called the maintenance guy who told me "maybe" he could get to it in a few days. the carpet was ruined from water, there was black mold growing on the walls, and of course nobody wanted to do anything about it. the gate out front is a joke and a half, and shady people are always coming in and out. your car and belongings are not safe there, and the neighbors are as ------ as it gets. this place does not give a rip about customer service. i emailed their corporate office only to get a "thanks for expressing yourself" email in return. there are government housing projects that aren't this terrible. do yourself a favor and don't even bother looking here, unless you like fighting, screaming, and loud --- rap music all day and night.

Look elsewhere
I have been here for one month and hate I signed a twelve month lease. The apartment was not clean when I moved in. There was a large spider in my bath tub, which had never been cleaned, the first Monday I was here. A few days later, there was some sort of critter I have never seen before. I now know it was a scorpion making the rumors true. Last week, my air wasnot working properly but was fixed by the time I made it homefrom work. Last night, the vent in the bedroom stopped blowing cold air making for a very uncomfortable situation. I had to get out of bed at eleven pm to go get a fan. I called & left a message. When I got home this evening, I found that none of the vents were blowing cold air. The mainyenance man left a very cryptic note that I couldn't make out. I took it to the office where the issue was treated very lightly. It is summer in arkansas which means very high temps even at night and in the shade. After working all day, coming home to a hot house is not how anyone wants to relax. I'm now waiting for the system to "unthaw" and someone to come "fixl whatever the problem us this time. This is my first apartment by myself and I am thoroughly displeased. The walls are paper thin and there is no security officer in the booth at the front gate. They leave the light on to give the illusion of someone watching the traffic but nobody is in there. The ceiling above my stackable washer/dryer is peeling. An eye on my stove didn't work when I moved in. there is no over head light in the bedroom or front room. If you don't have kanis, you'll be in the dark. I would not recommend my friends or family here although one has already moved here. I wish I could sublet and get the hell out of here.

HORRIBLE!!!!!
We moved to this HELL HOLE in Sept 2010 and have regretted it since. This place is horrible. We have dealt with horrible responses from management and the maintenance men(its only two). You page them and it may take them three to four days to respond. Since the first week of staying here we have dealt with huge roachs, spiders, and ants year around. They tell you that they spray your apartment but they don't. The pest man just comes by with a little can and sprays two places. IF you tell them that you have a problem, they make sure that they come by when you arent home so they can leave a note and NOT do anything in your apartment. The Maintenance men are the laziest people in the world! You have on-site security but you never see her. They have a gate but that doesnt protect you from people from other complexes coming into this one and looking into your car. We even had someone hit out car twice (while it was parked) during the winter snow and they did nothing about it. They have a watch tower by the gate but NO ONE is ever in it. When you first come to the apartment, they show you a nicely decorated apartment but once you sign the lease, they give you an apartment that doesnt even compare to the one shown. I kinda figured something was wrong after I signed the lease and they couldnt even show me where the apartment was, I had to find it on my own. I figured out why after opening the door and looking at the apartment. The appliances are really old and the counters had really bad stains on them. The newest things in the apartment are the lights and ceiling fans, everything else is old. The washer/dryer are a joke! The washer is hard to get into, you have to strain your neck to push the buttons on the washer. They have a stackable set but the washer on the bottom, the top barely opens because its under a cabinet (really weird). I cant wait to leave this place, so much so that we are moving out two months in advance!!!!!

do not live here
we have been here for a year, and decided to wait another year before we try to buy a house. i wish now we had just put up with all the stress of moving because the maintenance department is TERRIBLE. we have called 4 different times about a leaking ceiling and every time the maintenance workers claim they had "no idea" anybody had called about this. i'm not sure how it is that after 4 calls, and chunks of ceiling falling down they just haven't heard of this. they literally do not care, and i don't think the people that work for maintenance have any sort of qualifications other than being able to answer the pager. literally. as soon as we can get out of here we will. the people that run this place are morons and all they care about is filling the apartments.

UNCONCERNED
i have been at Beacon Hill since 05/10 and everything that attracted me to this complex is the total oppisite of the advertisment. They advertise security and i have yet to see any security personel i have paged security on 3 or 4 different occassion and have yet to receive a call back. The security gate is a JOKE, I have seen cars sit to the side and wait for someone to come threw and open the gate and they follow them in and they will even come in the out going gate. another advertisment is GREAT parking and that is so untrue. there are times i have to park several buildings away and i have complained about this issue alot but nothing gets done. My apartment was flooded from the apartment above me and it has been 4 weeks now and nothing has been done but they have had time to get other apartments ready for new victims. And the icing on the cake, A memo came out on a Tuesday saying the locks would be changed and if you came home and had a new door knob to report to the office for a new key, so i go home Wednesday and no new lock so Thursday i called to see if the locks had been changed and was told the key machine is broke so they havn't done it so Friday I get home at midnight after working 18 hours and i can't get in because the locks have been changed!!!!!!! i now no with out a shadow of a doubt they do not have any consideration for their residents. If you know i havn't picked up my key couldn't you have called and said hey we changed your lock so you need to pick up your key. They sure don't have a problem calling you over money. When i moved here i intended on this being the last time i moved but i will now be moving when my lease is up.

Look the other way!
Beacon Hills may appear to be pleasant from the outside, but don't be fooled, the management is poor, apartments smell bad, and the noise is ridiculously loud, now if this is all fine to you, then I would recommend living there, however, if it isn't then look the other way!

I love it here
The reason why I rented an apartment from Beacon Hill was because of the office staff. I spoke to the Assistant Manager over the phone and came by to view an apartment. She is so nice and helpful. She told me everything I needed to know about the apartments on the way to view. I didn't even have to ask any questions. The manager is very nice as well. She completed my paperwork with me when I moved in. I really didn't have any issues with my apartment. I haven't seen a bug yet, so I am not sure why I have been reading so many reviews about bugs. I am sure all apartments have them and houses get bugs as well. I haven't lived here long but I know they have a pest control service. I had an issue with bugs at my last apartment. My last complex didn't have a pest control sevice. When I asked while viewing an apartment the assistant manager told me that apartments get sprayed every three months and if I have any problems they would be happy to call pest control to service my apartment. I haven't had to deal with the mainenance staff yet but when I pass by one of them in the parking lot they always smile and wave. I am looking forward for the pool to be open and can't wait to go swimming it looks well taken care of. I would recommend this complex to everyone I know. Just like the last review people need to stop writing bad reviews. If you got evicted from this complex for not paying rent or not following the rules than that is your fault don't take it out on them for doing their job. My only complaint about the apartment is that the appliances are old and so are the cabinets. One of my cabinets in my kitchen is bubbled up like someone poured water in their and didn't clean it up. i know it is not from the sink because it is on the opposite wall, but I can still put stuff in there so it is not a big deal. Please people trust me don't let the reviews scare you away the entire staff is helpful and has been nothing but nice.

Awesome
YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE NEED TO STOP WRITING BAD REVIEWS ABOUT BEACON HILLS APARTMENT, I AM A NEW TENENT, AND THE APARTMENTS ARE GREAT, YES SOMETIME THE MAINTAIN CREW SUCKS, BUT THEY TRY THERE BEST. WOULD I RECOMMAND THIS APARTMENT YES, BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTY AND SAFTENESS. EVERYONE APARTMENT COMPLEX ARE NOT GOING HAVE THE BEST CARS OUTSIDE, BECAUSE EVERYONE IS ON A BUDGET, WE HAVE SECURITY, AND I THINK IT IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE. IT TRUE APPLICANCES NEEDS TO UPDATE IN ALL THE APARTMENT WHEATHER THERE IS SOMEONE IN THERE OR NOT. BUT EVERY APARTMENT HAS FLAWLESS, IT IS U AS A TENTANT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OUT OF IT. YOU CAN BEACON HILLS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE, IF YOU WILL STOP WITH THE NEGATIVE, AND THINK OF THE POSITIVE.

A Piece of Bull
Do not move there. I lived there for a while and finally got a chance to get out. WHen i was moving out, I found a family of centipedes living under the carpets, dead bugs were everywhere. My washer leaked twice and mold grew on the walls. The mold also damaged my furniture. The apartment manager is really mean and uncaring and the leasing assistant is a little off. I would never recommend this place to anyway. Neighbors are ------ and the parking sucks.
