You decide....
I just left is complex and I am disgusted with it.

1. Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! - Scorpions, Spider, Ants, and Milipedes are every where... complained to the management about scorpions: "dont worry, they´re indigeneous. they hurt about as much as a bee sting..." WTF? like i really want to be stung by one in the first place

2. Water, Water everywhere.. and not a thing done about it - the apt above my was flooded out.. and it all comes down to my apt. it took almost a week to get someone it repair everything, suspriseing since this happened on a tuesday. takes almost 4 weeks to make the apt habitable again, during which time I stayed the the person above me (being friends from high school).. how do i get recompsentated? $50 off the months rent.. LAME

3. Repairs took forever - When I first moved in, the fridge was not operating correctly. After putting in a work order, it takes two days to get a person down to look at it, only to be told that it needed to be replaced. It then takes a month to get a new one is.. which works properly for about a month and a half, then stops working. put in another work order, another two days go by, someone comes and fixes it.. but not well.. they forgot to put the hose that removes condensation back on the hookups. Instant kitchen flood. four days before we get someone to repair it.

3. Security - the biggest investment in security is a key/call activted gate, which happens to be broken perhaps 5 days out of a week. its also not a problem to get into anyways, all you do is wait till someone else get the gate open and then follow them in. No cameras on the gates. No security person in the gate house. Mutiple incendents of cars being broken into, and one persons motorcycle completely stolen.

5. Need more space - TINY! more than enough space.. if your the only one in a two bed room apt. but even two people would feel crowded in the largest apts they have here.

4. Management - Worst peopel i´ve ever delt with. Unhelpful, unreliable, and unfriendly.

and the straw that broke the camels back:

Began moving out on monday, get all the big furinature (couch, beds, desk, ect.), tuesday, moved out kitchen and the rest of living room. wednesday, move computer room and bedroom over. thursday, interrupt person in the process of burglary. makes you feel like you´ve been living the safest life in the world. and this is just two days before we were susposted to be completely moved out..

Over all, this is not a place i would recommend to someone... even someone that i didnt like. two

I would NOT reccommend this place
First: The apartment is quite small, and don´t be fooled by their internet ads because not all apartments have ceiling fans or even light fixtures in every room. Second: The gate almost never works. It only stays closed during the nighttime even when it does work, but I would say that it was broken 75% of the time we were there.
Third: They have a HUGE ant problem and won´t do much about it. They gave us these little ant bait domes when we went to complain, but they only worked for so long and when we went back for more, they said they didn´t have any more. The ants were awful all through the year, winter or summer.
Fourth: There is a lot of noise. Car alarms go off throughout the night, people drive in late at night with loud music, and we could hear practically everything that went on above us. The insulation is apparently very sparse.

i wouldn´t live anywhere else!
I have lived at Beacon Hill almost a year. It is actually quiet most of the time. There is a nice large strip mall about a half mile down the road. And no matter how minor, I get same/next day service on maintance. And for the most part, if I can get anywhere in town without even getting on the interstate without the hassle of "backroads".

Decent
I have stayed in the one bedroom downstairs apartment here and have for the most part enjoyed my stay. The management staff is friendly as well as the other tenents. Management is fast in responding to problems and security is good. Although this apartment was rather small, I would move back here. The location is the best part. You are conviently located in west little rock close to Interstate 430. The coke machine is cheap as well! Plus you have a newspaper machine here.
