I have been an apartment person my entire adult life and this has been the worst apartment that I have ever had. Bug Central (gnat infestation, sewer roaches, termites), Terrible Insulation, Crappy Parking. The bottoms of the cabinets are falling apart ( I assume this is because of termites). Lots of holes in the bottom of the door and cabinets for the critters to get in. Your parking spot is nowhere near your apartment. Not worth what you pay.

Experience has been fine so far. Have seen maintenance keeping up with the work orders past 1 month. So kudos to that. Still the landscap of community need a lot of work. So much trash lying around and people are not bothered to look after their pets.

When I moved in I expected everything to be as it showed on the pics. Although, I did a walk thru after signing, I did not find out about a leak in one of my bathroom sinks and my dryer not working and looking like someone stomped on it until I moved in. Maintenance is terrible and almost a month later, I still do not have a dryer and no indication of when I will get one. Just a heads up, I should have read the reviews about the maintenance before moving in.

Borderline slum. Maintenance requests are ignored. I've had standing water in my apartment for more than a month and a half and I get mosquito bites every day. There is a reason rent is so cheap, no maintenance.

Amazing community and is with luxury touch. Amenities are always nice to have and the units are clean. I am very near to my workplace and so it’s very convenient. It’s a clean community and staffs are very friendly.

I love the location, everything I enjoy is within walking distance. I love the amenities the apartment offers, I wish the urgency of the maintenance was slightly more important, I understand there might be a staffing issue, but I have not been able to fully use my kitchen like I would like to.

First experience moving in was horrible for several reasons, no one in the office answers the phone except for Jarrod. He is amazing by the way!!! As well maintenance! Maintenance works really hard and it’s starting to show. A lot of stuff is outdated and it has it ups and downs. It’s decent.

I have lived here a long time. I just transferred to a larger apartment. The pros: the rent is lower than most places due to the community being a little older. It is a quiet community. The apartments are large and I like the option of a townhome layout with multiple floors. The amenities are nice when they’re working. The cons: maintenance is non existent unless it’s an emergency. It wasn’t always that way. I have heard multiple tenants complain about the move-in and transfer process. Apartments are never ready and need additional maintenance after move in but that never happens because the maintenance team is so short staffed. I have started doing what maintenance I can on my new apartment because no one seems interested in completing it. The staff is nice but sometimes lacks follow-through. Not sure if they’re overwhelmed or lack concern.

My laundry room doors are dented, have paint chips and fall off the track every single time I use them. These are my replacement doors, since the ones before were in even worse condition. After months of waiting, I was told these are the best they can do and they can remove them all together if I would like. It's embarrassing to have guests over. I would also like to check on the status of the window screens as I’m coming up on two years without them and I haven’t heard about any progress. In fact, I was asked to stop asking about them.

We notified management of not having a washer, a leaking toilet, missing blinds, electrical outlets not working or are loose, and missing window screens on our move-in date May 30th. As of June 13th we have yet to have anything repaired or replaced.

I have contacted the front office 3 times due to a bee issue and nothing has been done. No one will return my call or resolve my issue. Several bees (5-10 a day) are entering our home and have began to sting us. We have a child in the home and have informed the office about the issue but it seems as if they could care less.

Great location, easy access to the l 101 and 202 freeways. Great fitness center one of the pools is out of order. Some parts of the property are totally neglected by management not holding some of the renters accountable for the mess that's left on their patio. Even though it is in the lease agreement.

They do not repair or upkeep the property or apartments. I have open maintenance requests from 1 1/2 years ago when I moved in. Washer has been broken for 4 months and not repaired. Sewage backup into tub and toilet 4 separate times. Pool closed for over a year. Very frustrating for a resident that pays rent automatically every month. I suggest you look elsewhere for a place to live.

I have never experienced a worse managed apartment and I have lived at Greystar apartments before in other locations. It took 8 months for anything to be done about my broken washer and dryer. I made a normal online maintenance request and waited but nothing happened. Went into the office several times and spoke to 4 different people but nothing happened. I went in every week for about a month until finally someone decided to fix it. Waste of time, terrible maintenance system and office employees.

This place could be nice if it was kept up properly. The unit I moved into had numerous issues with it. All of which should have been resolved before allowing us to move in. The property is nice but its clear that there is either no maintenance team or the maintenance team isn't being held to a high standard.

Over all I enjoy living here. Yet there is dog feces everywhere on the grass. Quiet area in the back off Taylor. Kids are adorable and seems happy all playing in the court and riding their bikes around. Looking forward for the pool to open up

Avana is a nice and quiet community. I love living here and I love my townhouse. I would ve loved it better if maintenance did a better job. You have to pay $30-$45 for maintenance fees a month and maintenance be chilling everytime i see them. Everything is done online and office never answer phones. In order to receive packages you get charged $7 in rent to use parcel room and have to pay another $20 to access YOUR package. Pool be dirty alot. The apartments look nice but be just rushed and thrown together. When I moved in every cabinet was hanging with no screws or the wrong ones. Tub need to be resurfaced and I've Been waiting since I moved in a year ago. Washer been out for 6 months and I have to go laundry mat.

I will post on social media my awareness of nonreaponse and apartments with mold. Water issues is a huge problem and Avana does not work with their tenants. We are getting sick from water damage. Please do better.

Other than the delays in maintenance(not in this case)and the slightly high rent for 1 bedroom we are satisfied staying here . We would highly appreciate if our rent is not raised for the next term .
