I truly appreciate ALL of the text messages sent by Management whenever we have ANY issues; water pipe bursts (so "NO water for XX of hours"), lost/found pets, lost/found items, upcoming parking lot maintenance (so "MOVE YOUR CAR by XX:00am,"), etc. Great job keeping us Residents in the loop!!!

    The maintenance team lies and marks service requests as complete when they have not even come to the apartment. I was at home all day and they said they came at 6:30pm. I was at home watching the news at that time. The service here is terrible.

      The Glen at Old Town is a lovely place to live. It's in between several super markets and restaurants, surrounded by plenty of places to provide entertainment in the area including being close by fashion square mall. There are plenty of amenities on site and it is pet friendly as well. The community is close knit and the property always has festive ideas to increase the feeling of a community there! Great place to live! I'd recommend this place if you are looking in Scottsdale Arizona area!

        The appartment complex is amazing. I love pools/hot tub, gym, apartment patio, and the staff has been fantastic. They are super approachable and anxious to help. The cooling system in my home is dispersed unevenly though which I hope doesn't become a problem later in the summer.

          It is a very clean, spacious place with respectful neighbors. I like the location it has. I also like how safe and tidy it is. My apartment is very nice, and spacious with a parking space nearby. I highly recommend.

            I have lived in this apartment complex for 19 years and have seen many changes throughout this time. I like the layout of my apartment and the location. The area is very walkable. I will be renewing my lease.

              The only thing worth it is the location

              This place used to be worth the money, however in the last 6 months they are letting the worst people move here. There is dog poop everywhere, fights, cops called, near shootings, door slamming, and people being rude and loud until the early morning hours. I don’t even feel safe walking outside at night with who lives here now. The gates don’t even work so there goes another level of safety gone, and our front doors are paper thin, where if you don’t lock it right away, it will blow right open. The laundry machines are also always broken. The price increases are not worth this place at all. It’s like living in Phoenix instead of Scottsdale now.

                  The condition of the building exterior/grounds/parking lot is poor. The gate is always broken and the pavement in the parking lot is in terrible condition and has potholes. The stairs are uneven and people leave trash and stolen grocery carts everywhere. The maintenance team is nice and helpful but management seems to not care about the curb appeal of this place.

                      Love the Staff here at The Glen

                      My son moved here 2 years ago after college and I live half way across the US. Ionian has worked with me to ensure billing is up to date and she could not be more caring and compassionate. I would have had a nervous breakdown with worry if it were not for her. The maintenance staff are just as responsive and caring. Thank you Ionian xo

                        Not great. Maintenance is nice but they just do bandaid fixes to things and when my ac had to be replaced they left my apartment a mess, the people in the office have been very rude to me in the past and never answer the phone

                          Washing and dryer machines are always broken, the gym is run down, and maintenance does not solve requests. While the grounds look fine that's the extent of is. The parking lot has big pot holes and my AC is extremely loud. If I wasn't a single man in his early 20s, I'd live else where.

                            Experience has been all right, however, prices keep rising for rent and maintenance or management. Staff doesn’t fall through with repairs whether they’re serious or not still have damage from a flood six months ago, the flood damage and apartment was never fully restored to original condition. Communication is very poor. Jason Aguiler has been helpful, caring and always available when needed. If only he wasn’t the only employee that holds those characteristics.

                              I love that you all have events alike the pool parties or pairing sessions, etc, even so this maintenance issue was resolved within days of calling and assessing the situation. Overall customer service good and your sense of community is there.

                                The Glen is not a nice place to live. I have lived here for two and a half years and all it’s done is go downhill, while raising prices. About a year ago the one guy they have using a blower to “clean” our walkways and front patios stopped doing his job. We have a pigeon problem and a feral cat problem on this property, so I walk past torn apart dead pigeons on my walk to my car every day because cats are constantly killing birds and nobody at the complex cleans it up. We don’t even have their “one blower guy” anymore (he will come through now once every two months about) so there is trash, dead birds, cigarette butts, and dog waste all over the ground because the types of people moving into this complex recently do not believe they need to pick up after their dog poops. There is dog poop everywhere. It’s June in a couple days and there are still Easter eggs littering my front patio from an Easter party another resident had. I’ve had two packages stolen from me so I had to get a Ring camera for my front door. Well, about a week after I got the camera it caught a man trying to break into my apartment at 2am. He walks up to my door and jiggles the handle and tries to get my door to open and when he can’t he walks to my neighbors and tries his door too. His jacket was stuffed full of items, so he had successfully stolen from someone. I called the police. Last week my neighbor who lives across from me knocked on my door asking if he could look at my camera footage because he had packages stolen from him too. So there is a package thief here. We’re supposed to have some guy on a golf cart doing our security at night but in 2 1/2 years, I’ve never seen him. Hot water is a joke here unless it’s summer. Last winter I was forced to wash my face every morning in icy water because I could leave the hot on for 10 min and it was still ice cold. My A/C broke recently and I called Friday night when I got home from work. They did not fix my A/C until the following Thursday. That Thursday, the maintenance was supposed to remove all of their equipment that was cooling my apartment down (a huge ac unit attached to a long big hose that fed out my sliding door so there was cardboard and duct tape holding my sliding door shut) but they didn’t and now it’s Monday and all their junk is taking up space in my small apartment. I spoke with him Thursday night and he assured me he would remove it all the next day, Friday. Well it’s Monday and it’s all still here. I had to dismantle the door myself. This place is also ridden with so much asbestos that they had to completely remove the ceiling in my hallway and bathroom in order to even work on the A/C. Now I still have no ceilings and maintenance told me it “might be” another week until that’s fixed. So it’s an extremely dirty property, it’s an unsafe property, maintenance doesn’t do their job and the people in the office give you attitude if they don’t feel like dealing with you. They don’t greet you with a smile in the office, they lean back in their chairs and put on a face like “what’s your problem” when you walk in the door. In the 2 1/2 years I’ve lived here I’ve only had to go to the office a few times but all my experiences were terrible, I’d leave the office feeling upset and unresolved. I’ve never lived in a place less professional or more gross. I’m a manager by profession and let me tell you, the entire staff here needs a lesson on customer service. Skip this one.

                                  NO RESPONSE

                                  We physically went in to turn in our intent to vacate form first of May - did everything asked of us to do to complete this process. Since then, we've received numerous emails from various staff members asking either for more pictures of unit (?) or to complete the intent to vacate form or renew lease form - WTF? So we respond with emails and phone calls asking why this keeps happening. All the staff are cc'd on these emails (Taya, Maria, Jason, etc) and yet NOT A SINGLE PERSON will respond or return a phone call! It's been weeks of this nonsense!! And we are good quiet tenants, always paid on time - there's NO reason for this level of incompetence! You've received our email responses numerous times, you have our intent to vacate form completed and you've received numerous voicemails from us. Why can NOONE confirm this?? We can't wait to be done with this place - unprofessional at best. Also, packages are constantly stolen from our front porch as well as any holiday wreaths we put up.

                                          The pool area is not maintained. The cafe style lights and fireplace have not worked the entire time I have lived here. The pool is rarely cleaned. The hot tub is spotty in working order. Would someone please address these?

                                            Onsite Laundry advertised, by half the machines are broken and the company that manages them takes your calls and logs in work orders, but nobody ever comes to fix them. Also parking lot lights, half the stall lights are burnt out and haven't been replaced.

                                              I lived here for the past 4 years. At first it was great and that’s why I kept renewing. Around 2020, things started to change but the rent was reasonable and during the pandemic other rentals were going for $300-$500 more than here. The laundry room pretty much always has at least one machine that is not working and that is very inconvenient. There has been a time where the laundry room didn’t work for weeks and I’d have to walk really far to go to another building in the AZ summer heat. I also can hear my neighbors upstairs so if you have loud neighbors it is not pleasant, but most years here I had good neighbors.

                                                The maintenance and staff here at the Glenn have been very professional and work orders always completed. I do wish a General notice goes out to everyone in the complex to not to leave trash (i.e. BEER CANS & CIGARETTES BUTTS) that can blow to the patios on the 1st floor. Tired of picking up trash from my neighbor on the third floor.

                                                  I flew down to Phoenix for a 5 day exploring adventure and just by chance ending up signing a lease with The Glen. The staff was very friendly and thorough in the application process and they did a great job on following up throughout the process. I didnt know at the time that I signed on to a fantastic place to live. The community is very well kept up and the residents are friendly. The pools are beautiful and the fitness room is awesome. Their fitness room is very comparable to a gym as opposed to a hotel gym. If my lease ended today, I would absolutely sign another lease with them. I highly recommend them in all aspects.
