The Glen is Great!

Ionian is a great property manager, willing to work with residents and meet their needs! The Glen is affordable and in a great location, parking is free (my spot is right outside my apartment), and the people are kind! Dogs are welcome here and the property is well equipped. Having lived here for two months I can definitely say The Glen is the best value in Old Town! Better than the Palladium haha

It is a very calm and beautiful place to live at. The apt has everything you need for a place to start living. Very calm and safe. It has beautiful natural spaces around the apartments, and its very friendly and cool. Good place to walk around and get to know.

DO NOT LEASE HERE Easily the worst renting experience I have ever had. They will have to pay me to not leave a terrible review. They have RATS. Like huge ones, Ive seen them in my apartment and they ignored my voicemails about them completely! If someone parks in your spot after office hours you are SOL so dont even try to have them moved. Pool? Hell no the thing will be closed the whole time you rent here and the grills are probably empty. Dishwasher? Also will proabably be broken for a few months. Ac broke in summer and hot water was out for 11DAYS in the dead of winter. Also I have to call the office 2-3 times for any maintenance. Even when they answer and say someone will be there tomorrow they almost never show first try.

Price is good for area but the complex is too large for the leasing office/maintenance to keep up. Also your non-renovated rooms are way below par for the price and area. Had to upgrade after my first lease but I wish Id have gone elsewhere because the maintenance is a problem regardless

Look elsewhere for the price. Maybe if it was $300+ less expensive it would be worth it. Renovated apartments have unfinished concrete floors with cracks and obvious marks where they tore the carpet up. Cheap finishes. Maintenance does Joe actually fulfill the requests, you end up having to do it yourself. Constant flooding even just from sprinklers, pool is never usable and always green.

The glen is a very affordable and quality apartment complex. The staff are friendly and take care of any service requests I have. My favorite thing is the community vibe and how safe I feel. Ive lived here for two years now and have had a great experience so far!

I love this place! The pools and clubhouse are huge perks! The beach volleyball court and green areas are great additions as well and its in a great area, Im surprised at how it isnt very noisy here most of the time too! Definitely grateful to call this my new home!

Horrible, Horrible! Absolutely horrible customer service! A whole bunch of things are broken and aren't being addressed. See my explanation.... The maintenance here is absolutely horrible!! I've called and left voice-mails for maintenance issues over 10 times since I moved in a month ago and have not heard back from a single one. And when they have come, they've never completed what they were supposed to. Robert left in the middle of fixing things and never even came back. I've lived here for a month and I still have several issues that haven't even been addressed yet. I can't explain everything through text so is there a phone number or an email so I can explain more? The staff (Gabby & Ionian) are great. The maintenance staff does not clean up the messes they make. The grounds are well kept, but the blowers are horrible - noisy (.CA study proved that blowers ruin hearing), stinky (the gas smells are nauseating), and blow dust in the house (nothing is sealed very well).

The community at The Glen is for the most part clean and quiet with friendly neighbors and working staff. The have clean and ample amenities with multiple pools and hot tubs, a gym, and places to stay. Its right near Old Town Scottsdale for convenience of great food and things to do any time of the week. I would definitely recommend living at The Glen

Sometimes its hard to get maintenance to come down to fix a problem. I never speak to them directly so I dont know if whoever I speak to forgets to put in my request or not. I had my air conditioner replaced in March 2020 and did not get the hole in the ceiling patched until October 2020 and did not get the replacement vent cover until January 2021. The service itself was great, I just wish it didnt take as long as it did.

The only ongoing problem is that the hot water system continues to break down. It happens about once a year. All other issues seem to get resolved in a timely manner. Update the hot water system or put in water heater in apt

I really enjoyed living here for most of the past 3 years. Within the last year many people have moved in and had many parties late into the early morning, had people leaving alcohol bottles around the complex and would play music loudly throughout the entire day. It was very quiet and clean when I first moved in but has become less and less overtime, but there was nothing terribly wrong with the complex and the staff was fantastic.

They did not have the correct info for me for over 7 months. They still had the person who lived there before me. Maintenance was awful. They never did anything in a timely manner and would just say they didnt know what the problem was if they didnt want to take the time to fix something. There was a person outside of my apartment several times who was clearly on drugs and they did nothing about it.

Super cute complex with an amazing leasing staff (and great prices)!The apartments may be a little older but maintenance is quick and efficient with any repairs if theyre needed. And I cant stress this enough- Tim made the entire process so easy and painless! 10/10 would recommend

The community is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. we love the amenities provided like the barbeque grills near the pools that allow us to unwind and relax during the weekends and newly renovated gym with the machines is so cool.

I love the location! I love that its pretty quiet aka no screaming kids through the night. Its extremely dog friendly and my neighbors that Ive small chatted with are so friendly. There has been a lot of changes to the complex but 4 years at an apartment complex these days is rare. Especially when the cost of rent has gone up dramatically. Im very fortunate that my rent hasnt gone up too bad.

Experience so far has been quite good. Parking is convenient and overall things are quiet except for the renovation going on right below where I live. Excellent communication from people at the office. my biggest issue now is that I do not have access to home Internet likely due to faulty wiring within the wall and the cable jack. I had a Cox technician come out and that was his recommendation to have the wiring within the wall checked by maintenance. Some minor issues to resolve our the fridge and outlets not working optimally and I imagine this will get resolved once covered COVID restrictions are lifted.

Ive been a resident for almost 2 years now and Im hoping to renew. Thats right - another year or so here at Glen at Old Town. This apartment complex is conveniently located to a lot of things like Old Town Scottsdale, Fashion Square, the 101 to get to other places, and much more. The apartment itself is a little rundown but is very livable. I have the non-remodeled apartment and I think its perfect for what I need right now. The walls are thick so theres barely any noise. Theres no carpet which is amazing for my cleaning. The amenities are great including a new pool and gym! I cant recommend this complex enough.

Cannot recommend anyone to move here. I've had hundreds of dollars worth of items (in packages) stolen off of my doorstep and the staff has been made aware of it multiple times. They have no cameras installed (for the safety of the residents) and have a "not our problem" policy. This has continuously happened for months and no changes have been made.

Driving over the speed bumps everyday drives me nuts. Other than that, The Glen is safe, the staff is friendly and helpful. Also the location is great, very close to shopping and Old Town, parks, and a wide variety of restaurants and night life

The structure of my apt is awsome. Concrete walls. No one hears you and you don't hear anyone. Skinny brown haired guy works up front is completely ridiculous I was throwing my trash out and I spilled some around dumpster he completely disrespected me yelling at me saying I'm dumpster diving!!!Gross. I've never done it and he theated to call the cops!!! I was in AWWW I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Completely disrespectful..The girls and Jason are nice. Next time, I'll leave the trash on the ground since I've been accused of false accusations

Overall I like the complex. The maintenance guys are all very nice (Buzz is awesome) and they when they are swamped things get done pretty quickly. The front office people are cool as well, but occasionally it takes a little time to get a clear answer on things. The issues are small and few and far between. I would recommend living here if someone asked me.
