not a bad place

I been living al covina palms over 10 years like most of the residents here. the place is nice. i have seen a lot of tenants caming in and out of the place. from my part i dont have any complain about this place a consider it my home. place is clean, no vandalism and i never have a problem w/ anybody here. or MY CAR!!

i hate covina palms apt

everything said in the last review is correct. I have only lived at this apartment for a few months and i want to get out of here as soon as possible. from what we have learned, they fail to tell you about the parking situation. They told us to park in the street since we had extra cars, little did we know, you get parking tickets for parking on the street from 2am-4am. <br> <br>Neighbors are loud, bumping there spanish music during the earliest of the morning till late nights. Another issue, they don´t respond to maintenence calls. I have had a leaky roof and a hole/crack in my window for 3 months and still nothing. We cant even turn on our air since birds live in the a/c and poop in there. There are disgusting people who live here who will stare at your every move as you walk in and out of your apartment. They have two pools, but no one ever uses it since there are lurkers everywhere. <br> <br>They just recently decided that the free water at the apt no longer can exist and will start charging us for water, complaining that the tenants are wasting too much water so they have no choice but to charge. Yet you will find the maintenence man just about every other day watering the cement. (thats right, cement not grass, but cement) This place is not the "beautiful covina palms" like they claim. <br> <br>The women at the office our a pain to deal with, that is when they are in the office. They live at the apartments, so im sure they are at there homes taking a nap. Yet, during the times to pay rent, you can bet they will be there to collect your check. They sit on there butts and do nothing all day yet could find times to leave notices on peoples doors to tell them to pay there rent and that they have a late fee. <br> <br>They have a special move in rate, where your deposit is 250.00 less than your monthly. What they don´t tell you is, is that when you move out..they will use your deposit money to shampoo the carpets (a company they choose) and paint the walls,(which is a sloppy painting job over everything, including outlets, tiles, anything that paint will stick to) all which happens to cost...drumroll please.... you guessed it 250.00! <br> <br>Overall...do not live at Covina Palms Apartments, you will regret it, like we have!

Lied to from the beginning...

I would not recommend this place to anyone...not even my worst enemy. Before moving into this complex we asked specific questions about the neighbors and the wall unit A/C...said the neighbors were quiet...they are SO loud...the police have been called on several occasions...the A/C doesn´t even cool off one room...much less the rest of the apartment. And in the few months that I have lived at this place, I went from having no bug problem at all...to being completely being roach and termite infested! my advice to ANYONE...DON´T MOVE IN HERE!!!
