Everyone is very nice and helpful. Trash around trash bins left on floor is my only problem. It takes up to 2 days to clean up. Who dumps trash on floor and not into a trash bin. Shouldn't they find a trash bin to throw waste into it. Walk to open trash container.

This community is clean, calm and peaceful. You can even see the stars from the courtyard at night (in Downtown LA!) The staff is friendly and responsive. The location is amenable to walking, driving, or public transit. A wonderful place to be!

Very convenient for me bus stop shops fast food restaurants Disney concert hall Music hall grand park walking distance to Chinatown friendly people gated community office staff and members are very professional and highly skilled. Very happy to live here.

So far so good. The staff overall is friendly and helpful as they can be. The only problem I have is follow up from the management. They don't seem to follow through with simple requests or needs. For example I left a message about 2 weeks ago aout the vending machine for the washing machines. They never got bak to me. When I questioned them about it, it was a simple answer..

I'm doing well. The staff is friendly and courteous, however there are some hiccups during conversations. There seems to be some misconceptions, or social stigmas that have been presented. Being from a strong social construct, I have had the practice to continue in practice of social contact and exchange.

I have enjoyed my stay at Grand Plaza Sr. Apartments, where I have lived for eight years. The neighbors are friendly and quiet and despite the many staff turnovers they have been friendly and professional.

My experience is wonderful so far. If the leasing team is any indication, this community is well run with efficiency, effectiveness and compassion. Being "of a certain age", this move represents a life change - for the better. I pray I get an apartment at this community!

No longer a Senior Apartment primarily for Chinese residents
My parents had lived at Grand for over 15 years. It had been a mostly pleasant experience until the last 2 or 3 years ago. We had seen a huge exodus of Chinese/Asian residents, as well as staff that can speak Chinese. Nowadays most of the staff are mean and impatient with non-English speaking residents, I highly discourage any Chinese/Asian to live there as the staff and conditions had worsened significantly over the last couple of years, including the fact their email and fax never worked, so nobody can really communicate with them.

Good experience overall. If the office opens 7 days a week would be helpful. The upkeep iof the community is generally well. Property management should pay closer attention to heavily utilized public area such as elevator, community room and mailbox area. Overall the community well maintained.

Love to all transportation, union station.downtown shops, whole foods, target, gym, entertainment. Close to doctors and hospital.tenants are great. Management is good. The community is good.

The community is safe. The only problem is one elevator out of two is in operation, and it is difficult to get to our unit when the elevator is not working. Walking up the stairs is difficult when the only elevator that is operation is not working.

Everything is accessible in my neighborhood. The restaurant,bus stop is just a minute walk away. Pharmacy is just a couple of blocks away just in case you need to pick up your prescription. The market is 3-5 minutes away. In my opinion my neighborhood are friendly and I feel safe walking by myself.

Very simple question to answer. My experience was, for me was wonderful. Very simple. The staff was totally professional yet very warm and welcoming. From the lease signing to the actual tour of the facilities I was made to feel sincerely welcomed and accepted by all. I'm blessed to have chose Grand Plaza Apartments for my new home. Very dangerous living in your apartment because Jose Lopez the maintenance man in your apartment is not vaccinated with COVID-19 & Jose Lopez is contagious. My experience has been pleasant and feel safe. The staff has been helpful and accommodating. People have been respectful and the staff were able to respond with concerns. Overall, the neighbors and small community has been friendly, respectful, and welcoming. It is a place that is open and inclusive.

This is a pretty good place to live. Any problems with your apartment get taken care of quickly, the staff is really nice and there is security most of the time. The only thing is, if you really like to cook, the size of the kitchen is prohibitive.

Very clean and nice neighborhood. Friendly neighbors and very convenient to shop in this place. It is nice for senior to have a quiet place for them to enjoy their life after retirement. It would be great if more non profit organizations will be able to provide some additional help with their everyday needs.
