Extreme safety and cleanliness concerns at the apartment. Multiple reports of cars being broken into, tires stolen, etc. Security guards are stationed (not consistently) for a week or so after the incidents have already happened. No prevention methods put in place to actually prevent the incidents from happening. Poop is constantly not picked up by residents and there is regular marijuana and cigarette smoke throughout the community that seeps into the apartments even when all windows and doors are closed.

The property management is poorly run and clearly understaffed. Staff have consistently provided inaccurate information, and maintenance issues are not addressed promptly or reliably. I would not recommend this property.

My experience so far has been mixed. Overall, it has been a good experience. I like my apartment, the building, and the neighborhood. There is an effort to maintain the building, but it needs better upkeep, particularly in terms of cleanliness in the common areas, elevators, and hallways. The move-in process itself was not completely smooth, but the apartment is modern and beautiful, and I am comfortable living here. The maintenance team is polite and friendly, however, response times are often quite slow. Window cleaning is something that is urgently needed and should be done more frequently, as there are spider webs on all of the exterior windows.

Zero security and target for car thieves
While the amenities are nice the garages are constantly being targeted by thieves and the complex won’t hire additional security to patrol. There are no cameras in the garages and no patrolling security. Over course of December dozens of cars have been left of cinder blocks with tires stolen or just the entire cars are gone. Tesla tires specifically are targeted and car doors are checked. Also forget about sentry mode working because there is no WiFi or service in most parts of the garage.

I have left a review as well as my mom and brother :) we really appreciate everything this community has done for us and plan to stay. I actually have never been more comfortable at a location, which is why I was so eager to find a place from my last one in the same community

Disappointing. Fire alarm issue, no onsite parking for guests. Pet bathroom everywhere, and my packages get lost once a week. The building is beautiful and I love my actual apartment but I wish they would just listen to the issues and fix them

Fees are so high like min $130 for stuff that they should cover on their own - trash $30 a month. They’re also bout to make it so people can drink in the vox courtyard so expect higher noise levels when the streets are already so loud during rush hour.

The community has solid amenities and the units are generally in line with the rent associated with this area of the city. Property management can definitely be a downside, particularly with respect to how quickly and sufficiently requests are addressed. Moreover, mass communications to residents can be improved overall. Communications are not tailored and oftentimes include mistakes that demonstrate a lack of attention to detail.

I’ve given up on raising the same concerns, because they get ignored. The gate to the adjacent street continues to slam in the middle of the night since it’s never locked; people smoke weed on the property, close to our unit; the noise on that same street, from vagrants and party goers, wakes us up every weekend, in the middle of the night; cars have been broken into and/or stolen from the garage; non residents can bring their dogs to the dog park because the gate continues to be left open. It’s a waste of time saying anything, because I’ve raised all of these concerns before, and management just doesn’t care.

Despite the massive size of the property, I love this community. It still feels small and intimate. Nile and her team really work hard on making it feel welcoming and connected. Love the new coffee event recently. I got to meet and greet some of my neighbors which was nice!

I submitted a maintenance request regarding the fridge in my apartment on August 17, but it was marked, after two week’s waiting, strangely, as completed even though no one came to fix it. Then, I resubmitted the request on August 30, but as of today (September 10), still, no one has come to fix it.

As a Vox resident, I am completely satisfied living here. I feel at home with my family and some of the residents. Recommendations: Should the Vox office throw a surprise adults-only party with the goal of getting to know the residents better?

VOX has potential to be a really great community. It’s been difficult to maintain communication channels with the management team due to turnover and they really need to step up their game when it comes to keeping the community grounds tidy and clean. And they obviously don’t have enough maintenance people to address residents needs in a timely manner, so they should invest in that area. VOX residents are paying a premium to live there, so management needs to be held to higher standards.

The complex is in a great area, close to parks, hiking, and plenty of food options. Unfortunately, the apartment was very dirty when we moved in, and the leasing staff has been misleading, dishonest, and shows little concern for residents—turning what should have been an exciting move into a stressful experience.

There are a ton of positives with this building that far outweigh the negatives. My only concern is that some of the negatives are not being delt with. Most of the negatives come with living in a building this size. Overall extremely happy...just need to ensure items get handled.

Safety is the biggest issue at this building. The staff is also incredibly rude when you bring up concerns to them or ask questions. Maintenance takes more than a week to address issues. The hallway carpet is covered in feces and urine and hasn’t been cleaned once in the 3 years I’ve lived at the building. Parking is a nightmare since no one regulates visitors parking in the fire lanes which makes it impossible to get to the resident garages.

VOX is a place of community. If you are looking to build community, while still maintaing privacy in your own home, VOX is the place for you. There are families with small children, it is diverse in nature, and filled with kind neighbors and small business to support. If this is something you are looking for, I strongly recommend VOX, professionally managed by Greystar.

So far, we've really enjoyed living in this community. We did have difficulty contacting the leasing office in the beginning. We would leave a voice message and email and didn't get a response for days until we attempted in calling again or visited in person. It would be a lot better to have a designated direct phone # to one contact in the office for concerns especially if it's vital like rent or questions about our contract. Other than that, we really enjoy living here. It's safe and we love the fact that it has a dog park. The Whole Foods is also a very big plus!

We just recently moved to Vox and we love it. Everyone working here and all the amenities are so helpful. It sets a high bar for apartment living. Everything is lovely and organized. We feel safe and at home!

When I moved in, I realized a lot of things weren't up to standard in my apartment. For starters the floor was filthy. One of my cabinets had a strong chemical smell that is still there, and a few other things. Most of them were resolved by management. And the appliances, specifically the washer and dryer, are really low quality, which is surprising since Vox markets itself as luxury apartments. The common areas are very nice though.

Very friendly staff and a complete facility with many nice amenities. Centrally located between the west side and downtown. The building is very well maintained and the whole place is very dog friendly. Hallways can be long, so check out the specific units available. It is also nice to have a Whole Foods market in the complex.

It’s been just good enough to keep us here and renew our lease. I have so much potential but doesn’t exactly live up to the price point and “luxury apartment” that it markets itself to me. Safety is still a major concern, Security here is almost a joke, and many issues that seem to pop up and not get fixed. There needs to be more staff here to help out.
