Very big one bedroom, enough room, and bathroom is a good size. Bedroom is a good size. I have a Queen size bed, a dresser, desk, chest a drawer, computer desk with a desk top computer and printer. Closet are a good size.

My Mom just moved here but everyone so far has been very friendly and welcoming. The area is clean and there is ample room to take beautiful evening walks. The area is clean and the landscaping and building are free of trash and is well maintained.

Mixed. Get a hard copy of the entire lease! Get a receipt each time you make a payment. If you can't stand dogs, find a place that doesn't allow them. Be respectful. Make friends. Offer help. Be nice.

Mostly good here, for the most part. There have been a few hiccups here and there, mostly Mexican tuba bands and fireworks in the nearby neighborhood. For the most part, the residents behave well. Management has changed 3 times in 18 months. Received a $170/month rent increase after year one. They base this on Ventura County AMI (average median income), so unless you have section 8, you are not immune to this type of rent increase. This is because even though the building was constructed between 1912 to 1952 (it was formerly a hospital), the city of Oxnard let the Richman Mgmt. company have a "new building" status due to renovations done by 2009 when it opened as a senior residential apartment building. This rather crooked manuever allows a 111 to 71 year-old building to bypass rent protection laws that designate only buildings older than 2007 may receive rent protection for seniors. How convenient. I smell lawyers...

The complex runs smoothly and is quite Staff is friendly. Grounds are kept pretty. Inside of building keep clean. Laundromat on each floor (4 floors). Easy access to bus transportation. Local shopping close by. Parks, Wilson Center, close by. Church's and movie theater close by too.

Neighbors are friendly, but the staff does not seem to know what they are doing. Both the administrative staff and maintenance staff can sometimes be very rude and unprofessional. Bottom line that request for repairs in my unit has not been addressed continues to be a tripping hazard.

So far the community and its cleanliness is good. However upon move in I had maintenance issues that were not resolved in a timely manner . Maintenance made comments that it was not urgent which was not appropriate. The unit was had some issues that were over looked and that was not my fault . They are working on it but I am disappointed in their lack of clear communication, expectations and lack of concern with my needs, until I kept bugging them
