When I first came I was quite impressed by the quality of service and how neat the building was, but then staff was decreased and the garbage service was cut way down while my rent was increased by over $150 a month. (Not pleased) Recently the service has improved some but if I get another rent increase, I'm really going to protest.

My initial experience was horrific. After 4 years and several Office Personnel changes, Sycamore Sr Village appeared to be vastly improving and then ... another personnel change and it appears that Sycamore Sr Village was going in reverse and back to ways that it was when I first moved in in 2015. The bed bugs and roaches issues were addressed and methods taken to alleviate and/or minimum these issues. Approximately in November 2019, I was very concerned with the new tenants that started to reside there (shady, unstable, unsavory appearances).

It's a large community and several different apartment designs, I love my apartment. the community is very diverse. good people, negative people, happy people, sad people.I am a happy person and it's easy to find other happy people.

so far the residents here are so nice and helpful my storage locker was broken into and I did not have access to it until the insurance companies and the police department were called I spoke to one resident about this and the next morning a few residents here showed up with food,the coffee maker,a microwave, pots and pans,plates forks and cups,$10 in quarters so I can do my laundry.I was so shocked that people would do that for somebody they didn't know, and feel very blessed for what they did for me. and people keep showing up to offer more things that I might need.
