Beware of leaf blowers !!
If you work late shift or sleep late, this apartment is absolutely not for you. Leaf blowers will start at 9 in the morning and they have no schedule so that your misery is confined to a particular day only. I have seen them come on Monday morning, Wednesday morning and Friday mornings. Not only you will not be able to sleep because of noise pollution, your car will be all dusty and dirty. It is a horrible place to live. Appliances are all old and walls are so thin you could hear your neighbors. The place is so friggin old that even in 2009 they do not have dual pane windows. I would avoid this place if I can. Basically management is more interested in outside look and feel and hence the leaf blowers every day, but inside it is all falling apart. Another issue here is pets. yeah you will be shocked to see dogs barking in your neighbor's apartment.

Just renewed and recommend this property .
I have been at Windsor Ridge for 2 years now and I am fairly happy. There are pros and cons of living here. Some cons- The parking is narrow and limited. I have one car so I have an assigned space but parking can be tight when I have visitors. I sometimes hear my neighbors but that has happened in my previous apartments so I guess that is part of the package in an apartment. Now for the pros-I am within a 2 mile radius of anything that I need. There is a grocery store one block down and El Camino is close and the Sunnyvale Downtown bars are close for some nitelife. I like the loft that I live in. I work from home so the additional room upstairs has turned out to be a great office. The staff has been extremely helpful. The maintenance man, Arnel, has always been very kind and helpful when I needed repairs. When I went on vacation a few months ago, I asked the office girls to water my plants while I was away and they did. I know that the staff at my last apartments would not have done that for me. Everyone was also very nice when my cat passed away last month .I guess what I can conclude is that most apartments are similar and what makes me want to stay is the way I have been treated by the staff.

My Visit at Windsor Ridge.
I just relocated from Los Angeles and I came to look at apartment ratings to give me an idea of places to look at. I came across Windsor Ridge because they had great photos of the property at Craigslist and I saw these bad reviews, so I thought I would just see it for myself in my own perspective. I went and toured last week and this lady named Elaina showed me a two bedroom apartment. Actually to my opinion I think Windsor Ridge wasn't as bad as what I expected. Elaina was friendly she gave me a good impression. The property was well maintained the only thing I didn't like was the parking. The parking was too narrow when I was trying to park my car. I wanted the two bedroom loft but they didn't have anything available. I think Windsor Ridge would have been a good place for me.

You don't want to live here for multiple reasons! kids, parking, noise....
We moved in the summer of 2007 and the place seemed pretty nice at first; except for the parking situation--it's been bad from day 1. We quickly learned there is a group of very rowdy children; and the group has been growing ever since. They play in the parking lot, throw balls around the cars, and they skateboard on the sidewalk--not moving for adults, even if you have groceries in your hands. On top of the noisy children; management brings in leaf blowers 2 times a week; some weeks, 3 times. The guys walk around the property in groups of 2 or 3, all blowing the same little leaf pile. once we saw them blow up into the trees so all the leaves would fall--I guess this is job security. It's so loud, it is hard to talk on the telephone, even with the windows shut. The leaf blowers come rain or shine, every single week; but yet, the jacuzzi has been broken since we moved in, almost 2 years now. Three jets total work, so if a couple people beat you in, there's no jets that work available for you to sit by. The pool area was recently closed for several months to supposedly get new plumbing. We got excited thinking at least the jacuzzi will be fixed if they ever finish; but, alas, when the pool area re-opened, now only 2 jets in the jacuzzi work! go figure.....and yes, we did complain for the first few months we lived here, along with a few other neighbors, but, still the jacuzzi was never fixed, so we gave up....I would not consider the jacuzzi an "amenity" if you choose to move in here..... The latest "kicker" is that one of the ladies that works in the management office moved into our building a couple months ago. They are several units down on the end, across from the mgt. office. We can't tell how many people live there, as people come in & out just about 24/7. They play their boom box regularly on their balcony for all tenants to "enjoy". Two days ago, on Easter Sunday, a day of relaxation with your family & friends, we got to hear rap music for approx. 5 hours in the afternoon. Yes, I could hear it in my house 4 apartments away (with windows shut)! I guess we should be thankful they turned it off that night.... There is a young guy that sits on their patio and spits "hockers" off the balcony; my friend almost got hit last week as he walked to my place. They also have someone who drives a very large tow truck that "visits" almost every day. he backs in the truck into the parking lot, blocking in at least 4 parking spaces in a row, on both sides. sometimes he leaves it running (very, very noisy) and stays 5-10 minutes; sometimes he turns it off and stays 15-30 minutes....my same friend was blocked in for 20 minutes 2 weeks ago. And, the tow truck driver speeds out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell... It doesn't get much more blatant than when your own property management employee shows this kind of disregard for the rent paying tenants that help pay your salary! Obviously we won't be renewing our lease this next time. I'd think very carefully before paying the high dollar rents here and getting this kind of disrespect!

Screaming Kids...
Well there are many dislikes about this place. #1 Kids are constantly running past our front door and screaming. I understand that kids need to be kids, but where are the parents? #2 The sidewalks are filthy...mud and dirt is everywhere to be found. This creates a huge problem when you attempt to enter your house and now your bringing it all in with you for your carpet to enjoy. Our front door is very low to the carpet so there is no way to put a rug inside. We tried to but a door mat outside and when it rains all the water comes right down on it, so needless to say it pointless. #3 Management staff will treat you like they are better then you. Barbara is the worst. #4 Horrible cell phone reception. If you dont like walking out to the street to use your cell, then dont move here. #5 Wash Room - Tenants here are very rude and leave their clothes in the washers and dryers for hours!!! I personally have had to remove some of them and set them on the counter because all the rest of them were full. This seems simple enough, until the persons clothes that you put on the counter sees you do it. Then they get very angry like you are the one in the wrong. #6 Thin Walls - You can hear people talking...and if your real lucky you can hear them snoring. Well in the end...if you move here i hope you can enjoy it more then my wife and i have. Our lease is up soon and we will not be back.

barely tollerable...but you can survive for the price/location
I have never written a review on anything, but this place drove me to it...The only thing keeping me here is the relatively lower costs and the fact I am already moved in here. If I had the money, I would be outta here. Pro's: -management seems okay and repairs have been prompt, though "handyman-ish" -nice grounds, nice looking buildings, safe -great location -loft apartments FEEL roomy and comfortable, and pretty large patios/storage closets, great pantry Con's: -#1 deal-breaker is the PAPER THIN walls. This is really the only major problem, but it's HUGE. I have lived in over 5 different apartments over the last 10 years and I realise apartments will be noisy, but these are worse than my college dorm was. You can hear your neighbors on all sides close their cabinets, do dishes, walk around, and talk to each other. SUPER LOUD. It's like you are in their apartment with them. God help you if you get neighbors with a dog/kid/surround sound system/loud voice. I think the loft apartments make this even worse, so don't say you weren't warned. DO NOT work from home here! That said, you may get lucky and get good neighbors... -really old appliances and shotty cabinetry, everything including drawers/cabinet faces are made of particle board (this may be fixed in the remodeled units) -first stop for trash collection and grounds maintence crews(8-11 am, 4-5 days a week), so don't plan on ocasionally sleeping in if your building is near parking lots -revolving door for tenants so don't bother getting to know your neighbor

So far so good..
I just moved in about 4 months ago and everything is going good. I have a renovated apartment and am very happy with the quality of the apartment. The staff have been really nice to us, even my dog feels welcome. I have not had any issues so far and am very pleased with my apartment. It is always clean here and I never see trash anywhere. I have always loved loft apartments so when I found this place I knew it was the one- the vaulted ceilings are so high, the highest I've seen in fact. The main maintenance guy is really cool and very on time with any problems I have. Also the manager is really nice and helped me pick out the right apartment for me. I have another 7 months on my lease and I do plan on renewing if the price is right.

Awful Management
I moved into this apartment in Mid-September. I should have ran out of there when we were signing up for the apartment. ----- (the --------- manager) was so rude to us from the beginning. I have no idea how she gets people to rent. She is AWFUL! She forced us to move in sooner than we wanted to, only to find out that our apartment was not ready until 1 day prior to our move in. When we moved in we realized that there was no way they could have cleaned the carpets in a day. I am at the point that I am going to request all docs from them to prove that they actually cleaned our place. The apartment gets so dirty. For example: The stove in the apartment must have never been cleaned by the prior tenant. As soon as you turn the stove on it gets a ring around the coils. Now I must say one nice thing...The maintenace staff is SUPER FRIENDLY AND FRANKLY THEY SHOULD RUN THE PLACE! Back to reality. We constantly get notes on the door about stupid stuff and they are always threatening. The people in the management office need to take a lesson on how to write a proper memo and how to be professional as they are not. We have never been late with our rent and we are not loud at all. I recently got a cat from a friend and I was under the impression that we already paid or $500 deposit for the dog we have and that cats were then free. The "management" staff came out to do inspections and saw my cat and then again posted a letter on our door ON A SUNDAY about the cat and that we need to come to the office (like I am in grade school again going to the principals office) and register my cat...pay another $500 and an extra $25.00 a month. One last thing, they post that their rent is much cheaper that it is. We pay $2375.00 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. Really these people in the so called management office have no idea what is going on with the world today! Needless to say this place is ridiculous and I cannot stress to all of you that read this. DO NOT MOVE TO WINDSOR RIDGE. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!
I've been a resident here for two years now and I absolutely love it. The community has beautiful landscape and the residents here are so nice and friendly. Everyone watches out for eachother, it's like we're all family here. The management team has goes out of their way to help me out. Like when I had a maintenace issue, they came right away to fix my probelm. I could live anywhere but I choose to live here at Windsor Ridge!

WANT TO GET SCREWED OUT OF YOUR DEPOSIT THEN MOVE HERE
If you want to lose your money then this the place to live. The cabinet space is ridiculous, I guess if you use miniature dishes then it will work for you. There are racist tenants living here. The washer/dryer unit in the apartment is supposed to be convenient however they are so tiny that you can barely wash 4-5 towels and have do more loads since you can barely fit anything you are better off using the on site laundry mat. I was majorly screwed out of my deposit and even had bogus fees added in. Not only did they keep my whole deposit they even added additional fees and set me a bill in the mail threatening to send me to collections. There are lots of pets here with irresponsible owners that don't clear up their poop so watch where you step. The work out room has 2 - 3 cardio machines so if 3 out of the hundreds of tenants decide to work out then I guess you are out of luck. Towards the end of our lease they notified us that the rent would be raised by $150.00 a month.

Honest review from just viewing the apartment
I was looking for a 1bd/1ba apartment and I should say pleased by the pictures the put up. The place does not look all that bad. It looks upscale from the outside, clean and nice location and all of that. But I was just NOT convinced that this apartment was a 700 sq ft material. I instantly got the feeling that I was looking at an apartment meant for kids . Everything seemed miniature. The living room is really small, bedroom is smaller, kitchen draws cant hold a thing. They have a huge sized pantry and patio is also huge, and I guess they included the 150sq ft odd patio in the floor plan, cos it just seems like a 550-575 sq ft studio turned into a one bedroom. Not to forget, their so-called tennis court(sized as much as a badminton court) is almost laughable. Surely not worth the price and hype. Pls do urself a favor and find an apartment for grown-ups.

Worst Apartments ever. Want your deposit back? Don't live here.
This place is the worst ever to live at. There is no parking, kids are noisy all day and night, and the management is unresponsive to maintenence issues. I lived here for two years and received $50 out of my $500 deposit. They claimed that they recleaned my whole apartment professionally and spent $450 in doing so. Bullcrap they just try to not have to give you anything back. Worst thing was how many bugs fly in your house even when the windows are closed. Please, your own good, do not live here.

Worst Experience Ever Just To View an Apartment
My wife and I have been spending several days trying to find a suitable apartment. We're mid 30's and have viewed many places after living in Michigan, Oregon and California. Never in all those many years of looking at apartments have I ever encountered such an unhelpful and downright rude management staff. First off my wife called about a 1br which was being completely renovated. She asked what amenities might be included and was told gas was included. "So nothing else?" and the response was a laugh and reply "Do you know how much gas costs?" Strike one. My wife then went to look at the apartment and was pleased at the renovations, but came back with an uneasy feeling about the management - Strike two. Lastly I decided to join my wife take a second look at this place and immediately felt as though I was being demeaned and laughed at by this same manager. Each time I asked a few standard questions all I got was either a snicker, snide remark or merely a head nod. Asked if the apartment was generally quiet - "Do you hear anything now?" Asked how maintenance requests were handled - "Well they get the weekends off". Finally I ask "What amenities do we pay for?" and my reply was "You pay Water Sewage Trash Electricity and Garbage". Wait, Trash and Garbage? Aren't they the same thing? She tried to respond (unsuccessfully after laughing at the question) "You have to pay Trash and Garbage even if you own a house" - How does this answer my question? When pressed about the answer - "Trash is trash and Garbage is garbage" Then she says something unclear about garbage being the garbage disposal - "You mean sewage?" "No, garbage as in bottles, cans, paper..." "Recycling?" "No Garbage!" Frustrated I stormed out and told her to keep her apartment as there were many other places around that don't treat people with this kind of snide rude attitude. You'd be foolish to rent or stay renting here.

Current resident - worst Management
I lived many years in many of the apartments across USA . This is my worst experience. Parking space is limited, place is noisy. Rooms are smaller compared to other apartments. Does not have gated entrance. But the biggest problem is manager & her team . I requested few times to fix my stove. They never respond for the first or second time. Manager and other staffs in the office are arrogant and never care for you. They wanted to renovate the entire parking space few weeks back . they sent notice to all the residents JUST one day before & warned them , if car is not moved out of parking lot, car will be towed at owner s expense. Specially on summer time when lot of people are on vacation for week or so. There is no professionalism or courtesy for their customer (residents). Whenever I talked them, they mention some rule/ contract to prove that they are correct instead of resolving the issue. I decided to move here , since it is very near to my work place & I needed apartment urgently . Pls. dont move here . I am pretty sure there are many nice apartments in Sunnyvale area .

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!
We've lived in many complex before but this is definitely the worst. One neighbor has serious mental illness and starts yelling and cursing in the hallway every morning around 7 am. The kids in the neighborhood are so scared, but when we talk to the management, they don't even pretend to care. The apartment walls are so thin, so when some college gangs play at midnight, you can't sleep at all. The managers don't listen to your complains, all they care about is to lease out their creepy expensive apartments. They raised the rent 20% right after the outside remodeling was completed. Nothing inside changed, but during the remodeling you had to put up with extreme noises. Many tenants left recently, possibly due to the raise and poorer security. Our cars were not broken-in, but got eggs thrown on the windshield several times. And, the complex is very close to Caltrain. Every time when the train passes by, you feel the apartment is falling down. So we developed the ability to live with the noise and trebling, and when the recent earthquake happened, we didn't feel a thing. DON'T THINK ABOUT IT, CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
This is the worst management I have ever dealt with, and I have never had a problem with anyone else in my life. We have had to put up with months of construction noise, parking closures, rude management, and a general lack of respect for tenants. I will give you one of many examples. They decided to change the roof on the apartments and only gave 1 week notice..and again after several previous times, require everyone to clear their patios. Then ALL DAY THEY ARE SLAMMING ON THE ROOF for almost 2 weeks. Try taking care of a baby when this is happening. And to top it off, they raise rents 20% after they repainted the OUTSIDE of the apartments - doing absolutely nothing to improve the INSIDE!! Incredible.

current resident - noisy & steep increase in prices
Hi, Ive been living here for almost 2 yrs now....and have seen the management change very often. The apartments are okay other than the kitchen which is very tiny and hardly any storage space in the kitchen. Also, the tiny cabinets are very very old. They are not very attentive to maintenance requests at all. You'd have to call them atleast 2-3 times before they send out someone. The worst problem is that there is no rent control and there is steep increase in the rents. I started out at 1150 in 2005 and last year, the rent increased to 1375. And now as I am nearing renewal again, I got a notice saying that the rent is going to be 1585 which is ridiculous considering that there is no washer/dryer in the apartment and no remodelling has been done. Looks like the managements just wants the residents to vacate so that they can remodel and put them up at a higher price. Is this the value that they give to their residents???? <br>Plz dont go by the new lease deals...BEWARE..u'd have to pay much higher when you renew. STAY AWAY IF POSSIBLE.<br>ALso, there is a lot of noice as there is some industry next to the apartment and it starts at arond 7 in the morning.

bad management, bad parking, noisy and what not
Don't even think about moving in here. Management is very bad and very rude. Dealing with them is impossible. They want to rip off for your money. Both renewal of lease and moving out is expensive. They will charge/fine you for everything. <br><br>Regarding the apartment: There is shortage of parking in the apartment. Finding an open parking in the night is a nightmare. The apartments are very close to each other. You cannot think about having a small gathering or barbeque in your patio. Neighbors will start complaining.

Move-out costs are high. Watch out for your deposit.
Living in this place is not so bad, until you move out. It's conveniently located in Sunnyvale and is pet friendly. The grounds are fairly maintained and the neighbors are nice. I had a good time living here.<br><br>Now, when I moved out I did what any renter would do. Get the pre move-out inspection and have one of the managers tell you what you need to fix, before the final inspection. <br><br>The manager walked through my apartment and told me to do touch-ups for slight scuffs on the wall, to make sure to clean the blinds, and to clean underneath appliances (like fridges and stoves). I noted all her suggestions and followed everything and then some.<br><br>I would consider myself a clean freak. In fact, before I moved into this apartment, I cleaned everything myself, because I didn't trust the cleaning job that the landlords did. Everything was acceptably clean, but I decided that I would use my own cleaners and clean the bathrooms just in case. I also took my own vacuum and cleaned all the carpets.<br><br>In the pre move-in inspection, I noted every single existing mark I saw. From light black spots on the carpets, to a missing exterior outlet cover (that is a violation of the building code) I made sure the staff noted it on my inspection.<br><br>Now, after I moved all my stuff out, I bleached both bathrooms, moved the appliances and mopped underneath them, vacuumed the coils on the back of the fridge, scrubbed the inside of the broiling tray of the oven, wiped each individual blade on the blinds and painted any spots I saw on the walls. Trust me when I say that I left no stone unturned. <br><br>I would say that I cleaned everything in that apartment (less the carpet, because I was told that even if I steam cleaned it myself, that they would clean it again unless I use a specific carpet cleaner they recommended). <br><br>My deposit was $1,000 ($500 security, $500 pet). I got back a little bit more than 1/2 of that. I believe that the amount they took off my deposit was exorbitant and well beyond what was reasonable and justified.<br><br>This is how they broke it down:<br>-$130 Detail Apartment Cleaning (which is what I already did). Bill states that they did <br><br>"full cleaning the kitchen oven stove, refrigerator, sing, floor, dishwasher. The bathroom cleaning floor, bathtub, mirrors, Toilet Sink, the Windows cleaning in and outside everithing dusting. cleaning the blinds too."<br><br>I took that verbatim off the handwritten bill. I guess you can't blame them if they can't write complete sentences or spell "everithing."<br><br>Trust me when I say this, I cleaned that apartment better than any house cleaner can ever clean it. If I knew they were going to charge me $130 to clean it, I would have left it alone and not taken unpaid time off of work to clean this damned place.<br><br>I've rented in college from four different apartment complexes and have had pretty messy roomates and we never ever got docked this much money off of our deposits.<br><br>Anyhow, the carpet cleaning charge was reasonable ($85) for a 2 bedroom apartment. But here's where they get you...<br><br>I put in my pre-inspection report that there were black spots on the carpet at the entryway, dining area, and in one of the bedrooms. But of course, they didn't read that and docked me to do "carpet spot [dyeing]" for $30. I'm going back to dispute that.<br><br>Here's another hidden carpet cleaning charge. "Pet Urine Inspection Charge" $50. Now, my dog (he's only 16 lbs.) never had any accidents in the spots they said they had to "treat." He was always kept in the kitchen (where there is vinyl) behind a baby gate whenever I left the apartment, so he never peed on the rugs. <br><br>So anyways, they picked some spots (seemingly at random) and charged me another $75 to treat the pet urine that didn't even exist. <br><br>Next, was the prorated paint charge. Mind you, even though I touched up every single mark on the wall with matching paint (I got it from the maintenance guy who was nice enough to give me the paint at no charge and a brush at no charge), I still got charged the prorated paint charge of $30.62. I suppose I can live with that, but the stupid thing is that the manager who did my pre inspection said to touch up the walls, so "they wouldn't charge me." But of course that wasn't true, because there's always a prorated paint charge no matter how short a time you lived there. <br><br>But check this out, it took 1 hour at $18.55/hr (less a 5% discount) to do the painting in our apartment. That's $18.55 less $0.93, so that's $17.62. But wow, didn't I tell you that they charged me $30.62? How conveniently they forget how to do arithmetic. Unless there's a $13 surcharge for - I don't know - worker's comp insurance for the painter sniffing too many fumes, I don't know where that $13 came from.<br><br>Lastly, a couple of weeks before I moved out, I put in a work order for a couple of light bulbs that were out and the closet rack had broken. The maintenance guy was out sick and couldn't repair it right away. When he finally came by, he told us not to worry about the bulbs and the closet rack, because he'd "take care of it after we moved out" and that they "wouldn't charge us for that." <br><br>Well, again I was wrong to trust their word. Sure enough, they docked me $14.64 (which supposedly took 0.5 hrs.) to replace 2 60 watt light bulbs and 4 drip pans. <br><br>So to recap my charges:<br>$130 $85 30 50 75 30.62 14.64 = $415.26<br><br>My total deposit (including the pet deposit) was $1,000.<br><br>That's absolutely insane. They can't call that a "deposit." They should call it, "prepaid cleaning fees." <br><br>I will be writing a letter to the BBB, complaining about all the exorbitant charges. I will also write a letter to the Essex Property Trust REIT (owners of this complex). I also will contact apartment management to try and rectify what I think is an unfair assessment of charges.<br><br>You can see how much trouble I've gone through to try and keep my apartment in good condition. I have digital pictures of my apartment after I cleaned everything to prove that it was reasonably clean (I mopped, vacuumed, and scrubbed every inch of that place).<br><br>Hey, if I knew they were gonna charge me to clean the damned place again... I would've just left it alone. <br><br>The newest management is polite and somewhat responsive. As for that maintenance call I scheduled, I stayed home from work one morning, because I scheduled a 10am appointment for maintenance and nobody showed up. I walked up to the office and said, do you know if Arnel is around? The manager replied, "Oh, I'm sorry, but he's out sick today. He had to go to the emergency room." I said, "I've been waiting and nobody told me that he wasn't going to show up." She apologized and said she could page someone with "less experience" to try to fix those things. So two maintenance people come to my apartment and he took out the light bulbs and the anchor for the closet rack. He said he'd try to fix it, but came back a minute later and said, "Is it okay if Arnel does it when he comes back?"<br><br>Anyways, I'm surprised that he couldn't change a light bulb and that he couldn't drill a new hole in the wall and reinstall the anchor (it had pulled out of the sheetrock, so the old hole had to be patched and a new one had to be made).<br><br>I digress... but about 2-3 weeks after I moved out, the manager calls me and asks for my forwarding address (I had written it on a piece of paper in big handwriting and put it in a ziplock bag with all the keys and the garage remote). I gave it to her and asked her, "Oh, do you know how much of our deposit we're getting back?" She then said, "Uh, I don't know... I'm going to mail you the paperwork with all your charges and then the check will follow a week or so later." I was kind of in a rush, so I said, "Okay fine." Then she said, "Give us a call if you have any questions." Well I had one right there and she couldn't look at the paperwork and read the bottom line to me?!? I guess she just wasn't in the mood to ruin my day. <br><br>It got ruined when I opened the letter and saw that almost half of my deposit was gone.<br><br>Let's put it this way. This apartment is an okay place to live, but when you move out... be prepared to pay out the rear. Management is misleading, the pre-move-out inspection is worthless, and the estimated costs for cleaning and so forth mentioned in your lease (because the have to) have no bearing on the actual costs they will charge you.<br><br>They get you once you're out, so I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who would be upset with what I went through. Rent was fair $1,675 pet rent of $30. <br><br>Management turnover is very high. I saw at least 3 different management teams in about 8 months. <br><br>Email me if you would like any specifics or if you would like me to elaborate even more. <br><br>Follow-up: I spoke with management regarding the charges taken off my deposit and they were pretty reasonable in trying to make this work out. We came to a fair compromise after a good discussion about the charges. Although, I still thought the apartment cleaning charge should be nil, she went halfway and gave me credit for half of the $130 charge. One thing that still disappointed me was the $75 for pet urine removal. My pet never had any accidents in my 8 months there. I agreed to the $50 inspection charge, but the additional $75 to clean up what was there before I moved in is not fair. She told me to talk to the carpet cleaners, but I decided it wasn't worth my time, because they would not remember each and every apartment they cleaned. <br><br>I guess I have to chalk that up to just a loss. Management was very patient in handling my concerns. I would just be very careful about charges when moving out. If you are the type to work very hard to try to get most of your deposit back, this may not be the place for you.<br><br>If you don't mind them charging you a little more than they should, I would give this place a try. The rent is somewhat cheaper than other apartments in the area, so the loss on your deposit may be made up for in the rent saved during your stay. Obviously, the longer you stay (provided rent doesn't jump significantly once your lease is up) the more money you can save. <br><br>Overall, this place has a good location, friendly neighbors, and fairly well-kept grounds. Management sometimes requires a little more prodding when dealing with maintenance issues, but it never required me more than two (2) tries to get something done.<br><br>Keep an eye for leaky sprinklers on the grounds! I often see a few gushing with water. It's also kind of ridiculous how they water the lawns/plants during rainy season. The residents pay for the water, so it's in your best interests to make sure they save water wherever they can.<br><br>In conclusion, this place was not too bad. I suspect all the complexes in this area are probably in the same league, service-wise.<br><br>Thanks to the current management team for addressing my concerns and calling me back right away.

I've been living here since 2004 and I agree with some of the negative reviews regarding the Front Office Management. From time to time they rotate the people that work in the Management and some of them can be very friendly and helpful, but there can also be a very rude lady in there as well. When I needed to talk to the Management in person I too came across the "I'll be back sign," but when I went back, there seem to be no one in the office. As for the onsite Maintenance crew they can be very helpful when needed and have to call the Front Office to make appointments. As for parking, it can be really hard to find parking space late at night and on weekends, but the Front Office encourages tenants to park in the sister apartment right across the street. As for Security, not sure if they are doing their best job since somebody has been breaking into my car a few times right in the middle of the night. I remember 4 days after I moved in here my car alarm went off and when I looked outside there was this strange old Asian guy with glasses, brown pants with blue zipped up sweater few steps away from my car. When he seen me he started to stretch like he was exercising and have been missing 2 bolts from my license plate. I see him from time to time even now and when he see's me he stops walking and scurries away and disappears. Has anyone noticed this man while living here? As for the amenities like laundry, gym, pool, is very efficient.

current resident -VERY poor management
I moved in 2 months back and i had a car break-in within a month. I called the management to inform them and ask them about their security issues . I was told that it was bad luck and it could have happened to me irrespective of which apartment i live in.(?!)<br><br>When i moved in, i checked the apartment thoroughly and informed them the same day about a bedroom lock that was broken and asked them to clean the balcony. I have called them over 5 times since then and there has been no action taken.<br><br>The walls are so thin, i can hear people move about and use their bathrooms in the middle of the night.<br><br>The apartment is not worth the rent you pay.<br>

HORRIBLE
We drove around on the weekend to look for apartments. We came across this apartment complex to find that no one was in the office and had a sign saying they'd be back at 4 PM. (it was 3 PM at the time, so we decided to drive around a bit more and just come back later.) We later returned at 4:00 and no one was back yet....so, we left to look at a neighboring apartment and would come back before they closed, which was at 6 PM. When we returned for the 3rd time, we found that there was still no one in the office with the sign still saying they'd be back at 4 PM. It was already close to 6 PM. Their idea of a lunch HOUR is more like a DAY off.
