The apartment in itself is very nice but the move in experience was okay, I had to consistently follow up with the leasing office on availability and videos since I was out of state. Once move in happened then the issues came, I understand apartments aren't being occupied but there should be an inspection upon having someone move in not just electricity, inventory, etc. There was a ticket for the dryer not drying, the bathtub door not having the seal at the bottom, so water was dripping to the floor, the heater not working and the porch door not opening because they painted and shut wet. Although most issues were resolved it's been a tedious process to have the door fixed, I moved in August and just now they are resolving this issue, they request patience but still charge you full rent regardless of the issues/inconveniences. From a security standpoint point I don't like that anyone can enter and leave as please and leave flyers at your door.

My experience leaving in that building is horrible starting with the neighbor downstairs that work in the build that complain about if my kid play jump at 6:00pm when u go to the management office they just tell u if more people leaving in the building too

I have been living in this community for close to 28 years now, moving into at last 4 different apartments. All the apartments are very spacious, with the master bedroom having a walk in closet. Generally the community is quiet and the location couldn't be more perfect. The community is close to Dadeland Mall, Downtown Dadeland, schools, both public and private,Baptist hospital, and many medical doctors and clinics. It is also close to Continental Park with a Community center and tennis courts. The environment is clean and generally well maintained. The staff, office and maintenance are friendly and cooperative. Rent is a little high , but where isn't it these days. I am very happy in this community.

I just have been there 2 months and I will say everything was good, not issues at all. My only concern is regarding parking spot. Please need to improve the way of getting parking spots because its complicated to arrive home and do not get any parking near my apartment.

So far we have had a great experience. The towers that we are in are very clean and are upkept pretty well. The gym and pool facilities are also nice. They always have cute little decorations for the holidays. Maintenance is great and they respond quickly. My only complaint is that the parking gets filled pretty quickly and there are 3 reserved spots only for leasing office. The leasing office is open from 9 am - 6 pm on weekdays, 10 am - 5 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. So it does not make sense to me why we are not allowed to park in the leasing parking from 7 am - 7 pm. It should only be unavailable during the hours of operation. Also, because it is dog friendly, all the barking dogs could get annoying. Otherwise, we are very happy with the Colony.

The community if very friendly and organized. We can see that management is always present and trying to make improvements to the community. The only thing that needs more attention is the cleaning, the area around main tower is impecable, while around the other buildings they don't clean well, we can see a lot of dog poop and sometimes pieces of trash in the hallways. The lanscaping is the same, it seems like they only take care of it around the main tower.

Overall experience is good. The apartments are nice and it is very convenient for have a pool, gym, and mail site all well kept and nice. Only negative about apartment is price and parking. Parking is tight on spaces and spaces are limited

Rent is very high with less facilities. Open Entry for everyone in society. Securities are there but if anything happened then will not get much support or Camera. If some thing happened to your Car in parking then will not get positive support.

Jessica and the office manager are rude and useless. They don't ever want to help with anything and seem bothered when you let them know about problems on the property. Important notices to warn and prepare for work in the building are not sent out within reasonable time, if at all, and are not consistent. They closed the exit because they wanted to do repairs to sidewalk today and never set out any notices about that happening. Cars park outstanding the lines in the spaces because the parking lot paint has faded off almost completely. The pool keeps closing at different times than stated. No one is ever in the office when it is suppose to be open in the morning. The first floor of the main building smells like trash and no one is ever available for help in the office. I've asked for updated pool and office hours because it seems both are closed are different times and I was laughed at. No one takes their job seriously. This place is a joke. Moving out soon because of the incompetence, also overpriced for the lack of care this administration has with its residents concerns. And no one they hire speaks English.

Experience has been alright going on 1 year of renting. Started off very shaky, I was promised one apartment, when I arrived I was given a different one. Had no laundry or anything discussed from the first apartment, but was expected to pay the rate for in unit.

This community is always tidy, the gym is new and the pool is clean. Overall, it's nice to live here. Parking csn be an issue as sometimes there isn't any. You find the guard to see where you can park.

I like the complex and how quickly management responds to maintenance requests. The rent seems a little steep for the age of the building and the windows are very thin (can hear everything happening outside). My only real critique is the parking lot: the spaces are a variety of normal sized and compact and there is no labeling.

I hate it, would not recommend. The apartments are in terrible condition. The leasing office staff members are incompetent. The rent is ridiculous for what you are paying. Security is negligent. I have been robbed multiple times and the leasing office did not assist at all. The security guards do not secure anything; they just see if cars who do not have a parking sticker parked in the garages. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

It's a nice place to live with updated amenities such as large pools, barbecue area, a nice sized gym with new equipment, and a nice lobby with computers and printers. Maintenance staff also cleans everyday and keeps the property tidy.

Great location with easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and close to Dadeland Mall. The community is well managed, well kept and pet friendly. Even though the buildings are over 50 years old, the renovation makes the apartment looks modern.

The washer and dryer's constantly break down. The turnaround time to fix them are weeks. There are exposed wires against the walls. An eyesore. When you submit a maintenance request it's closed before it's fixed.

The residents are very disrespectful. They don't pick up after their dogs and make noise all night long. The guards never put warning stickers on all the cars parked in the lot without stickers making it impossible for residents to find decent parking spots. Every time the office sends info on new rules they are never enforced. Also there are roaches which are very difficult to get rid of here, no matter what you do. On the positive side the office staff are very nice and helpful. The maintanence is very quick here and always respond right away and fix problems.

My experience started positive. But the quality of the residents that have been allowed to move into this complex has truly Made this a very negative place to live. Between the constant smell of Marijuana, dog ---- everywhere, loud music at all hours. Sleeping security guards that are useless?broken elevators. What we are paying for rent does not equate to the level of service we are receiving.

Terrible, I had mold in my first apartment, while I had my infant child in the same room, they barley Had a solution, I moved to a different apartment. Everything is made half way, im suprised they get away with such bad work. A few months in and my mirror fell off the wall in my sons bathroom almost hitting him on the way down. Now they let anyone move in, and I have a family of 10 who do not stay at a resonable noise level and management team says theres nothing they can do. Im saving to buy a place and get the hell out, consult with a lawyer, and leave terrible reviews

Is a beautiful community, lots of trees around, close to shopping, entertainment, good schools for the kids, metro, express way, parks, restaurants. It has two pools which all the tenants enjoy. It needs a bit of tender care specially the pool area.
