I've been here a very long time! There has been a numerous amount of owners and even more apartment managers. They can't seem to keep up with maintenance claims. They just do what they can until they sell the property yet again to the highest bider. In the expense of living here you could probably find much better and organized locations. This isn't it! I'm trying to save you from this sinking ship.

Zero Star Rip Off

If you love to be nickel and dimed to death with nothing to show for it, boy is this the place for you! Everything is always broken. They take all your money and force you to pay for a trash service whether you want to or not. If you want privacy, you have to pay MONTHLY for it. If you want your AC going out constantly with nothing but band aid fixes and no number to call!? THIS IS THE PLACE! Go ahead and call the number that Google pulls up, not in service.

Awesome and Welcoming Manager and Staff

Looking for an apartment and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with such a welcoming and warm reception and, invited into sit with her in the office while discussing details. The manager Laurie was great, caring and very knowledgeable. She beats all the other apartments I went to and thank her for all of her help. It is unfortunate that I cannot qualify with too low of an income because if I had enough, she would have me as a lifelong resident!! Kudos to Laurie!!

Recently just moved in to the complex, and I am so pleased with my experience so far. The property manager Arielle will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and nothing less than! She walked me through every step of the way from the application all the way down to after moving in. I am so glad I chose to move here where the office employees are there to actually help you. I would HIGHLY recommend this complex and to ask for Arielle for anything you need, she will make sure your move in was as awesome as mine was!

Sprawling open space

Exactly what we were looking for. So unique to have wide open back yard space like this in a gated community. Sparkling pool, brand new dog park with agility course, and playground. Totally different community since the new owners came in late 2022. Love the all new paint, outdoor fireplace, and BBQ area.

Tony and Joe the former Maintenance Men

So I lived at Park at Blanding for about 5 years and moved out in 2015. It was the worse living experience due the unprofessional and constantly changing office staff and the 2 older nasty maintenance men named Tony and Joe, who lived on the property. These men began stalking and harassing me and my children. They would enter my apartment when I wasn't home and tamper with food and my mail. The once abusive husband, bald headed maintenance who rode a loud motorcycle was sleeping with a trashy office staff member in 2014/2015 and later would have loud sex with my down stairs neighbor who was an older black lady. It was so horrible..I had to call the police a few times about the 2 foul maintenance men who were putting GPS trackers on my car and would always show up to places where I was at and they would get my phone numbers to track my phone from Metro PCS because the lazy bald maintenance guy's son worked for Metro PCS back then! Joe and Tony were caught still stalking me at my new apartment that was 2 hours away after moving from 222 Blairmore Ave. I would email the corporate office about the stalking and they did nothing. Joe and Tony were so insane and delusional, I hope they have both gotten sick from anything and died by now. One of the maintenance guys with the long, stringy grey hair had a disgusting wife with a wrinkled face and a loser daughter and bastard grand daughter living there with him for free. They were all trash, including Brook who was in the office.

Fatal la administración y la atención, muchas cosas defectuosas, hay plagas y lo peor no dan solucion y mucho menos dan la cara. Piscina y puerta inexistente y aún así lo cobran, no hay acceso a Internet ya que no dejan colocar cableado por fuera. Si fuera fácil irme me iría pero vinimos de Miami y este complejo es la peor elección.

Beware. Not enough room to explain but lived there for 9 yrs. 2 months after move out inquired about security deposit. "I will checck" by Monica Ray. Now I am blocked and still no explanation, Beware!

Unsafe, unreliable utilities, bad staff.

Terrible service, the office staff is never available during their posted hours, they don't return calls, maintenance is fine. They show up when called but rarely actually fix the issue. Edit as of May 2022: The property manager apparently didn't like the 1 star and asked me to change my review, so I'll add that despite being billed as a supposedly "gated" complex, the security is nonexistent, as evident by the cars that were destroyed in a recent arson incident. We had to buy an in-window AC unit out of pocket because the central air never worked, and the apartment would repeatedly get to the 80°s in the summer. The plumbing was consistently a problem, and the tap water tastes so bad I had to use bottled water even for cooking. As well, the "company policy" is to send your move-out expense bill to collections FOUR DAYS AFTER MAILING IT. Also beware that traffic on Blanding is terrible, so your commute will be unpleasant. Unless you're fine with dealing with terrible management and unreliable utilities, avoid this complex

Had issues about 6 months into my lease with my neighbors was repeatedly told they were given noise violations notices but nothing was ever done. Same neighbors had people staying there with them and my apartment got broken into. Was difficult to get out of my lease but they finally let me as I no longer felt safe in my own home. One of the people that broke into my apartment was charged and sentenced and has been released and is still living there. Was also charged for things after move out and the deposit was never used which would have covered more than what i was charged for.

So I'm from New York and I was supposed to have the apartment ready for me at there sister complex and when I arrived in Florida and to the complex they said it wasnt ready yet even though they knew like a month in advance and the date was set up. I had to stay in a hotel( i had to pay for it). Then I go into the apartment finnaly and notice many cockroaches and the rugs were dirty, cabinets sticky and rice and food left in the cabinets. So I told them I can't live there and they said they can put me in their sister apartment (park at blanding) so I decided to go there. It was about the same situation. When I did the initial walkthrough at park at blanding I saw two cock roaches (not as many as the previous place) and the carpets were a little cleaner. And I was also tired and just wanted a place to live so I took the apartment. When I settled all my things in the apartment and slept there, I saw tons of cockroaches come out at night. I wouldnt recommend this place.

These apartments are tragically overpriced. They were built in the 1960's and feel like it. The water in the toilet is always leaking, the kitchen sinks always clog up requiring them to use a toilet plunger to unstop, the power sockets dont fit most plugs. The pool is closed on Mondays due to too much bathroom use in it. The rent went from 650 or so to 800 in less than one year. If you pay 800 for an apartment at least get a new nice one.

Counting down the time to move! Very small plumbing issues over priced. They ensure that their available to collect the rent. If you must chose this apartment complex make it one year or less. They really need to invest more in this community to truly update things not just surface things. I.e counters.

Have enjoyed living at Park at Blanding. Quiet, friendly. Lots of long time residents, so they are doing things right! Maintenance staff is 5-star! Responsive to issues, easy to deal with. I strongly recommend ~ convenient to most everything!!

A great community to live it. There are lots of friendly neighbors and many kids for my children to play with. Management is great and the maintenance men are wonderful and extremely nice. I personally love the gym. The pool just is wonderful.

I enjoy living in my home.I have been a resident of this unit for 10 years. I understand the upgrades to the units, but please don't neglect the ones that have not been updated. We are still residents and love wereading we live. It's a great place to make a home.

Park at Blanding is the best place to live. I renewed my lease because of Nikki.. Joe and Tony...the sewer bill went up 20 dollars which is crazy but everything is perfect. I feel so safe and any issues you may have Nikki handles it right away...

I can't help but love these apartments. Great location, very safe for my family. It's more than I could ever hope for. There is a catch, I've lived here for almost two years and I've always had problems with my AC/heat units. In the summer, the AC practically stays frozen from trying to keep cool, and my apartments stays at constant 80 degrees Fahrenheit(even though I set the thermostat to 74/75) from 11 am till 9, almost 10 o'clock pm. Every time I call, they come, check it out and blame it that it's frozen. They "fix it," and it works for a day or two and then bam all over again. In the winter, it's the same thing, we set it around 74/75 degrees but when the sun sets, it starts dropping, and we'll wake up freezing because the temp in the house is 66 degrees! And the same thing, we call, they "fix it". It works for a day or two and bam the same thing all over again. Honestly, overall I love the apartments, I enjoy the life I have here, the pool is always clean, not a noisy place, very family oriented. The only problem I have is the temperatures I have to endure.

My husband and I are very satisfied with the area that we live in. The common areas, pool, and fitness rooms are kept nicely. The only complaint that I have is when the ground keepers come they do not clean up the pine needles, broken twigs, and leaves from around the apartment areas.

Somewhat quiet, few loud neighbors, everyone is friendly. Gate is more often not working then working, sprinklers gush water all over the sidewalks. Light outside in parking lot area flickers on and off so its dark most nights if I come in late.

I am happy living at The Park at Blanding. We have an excellent maintenance staff and the all the staff are very nice, The office staff are new...because we have new owners. I called about my dishwasher Sunday and Monday I han a brand new dishwasher installed when I came home.....Excellent staff here!

The approval/move-in process has been seamless. The property is older, yet kept up very nicely. Every member of the staff has been pleasant to deal with. The neighborhood is great with very good schools. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
