I am in love with this apartment complex. It's unfortunate I have to relocate for my job. I lived here for almost two years and it was an overall amazing experience. The staff is very professional and goes over and beyond to make the residents happy. Maribel is amazing, she is kind, professional, and extremely friendly. The grounds are well kept, maintenance responds to whatever minor issues, assigned parking, and very quiet complex. The apartments are very spacious. I recommend Saratoga Place Apartments to everyone.

    We moved to Sarasota from New York in July, and we absolutely love it here. The staff is truly terrific and they respond very quickly to any problem, question, etc. Maintenance is quick to respond and very courteous. The grounds are kept impeccably. We investigated many complexes in Sarasota, and Saratoga Place is by far the nicest overall. We couldn't recommend living here more highly and we hope to be here for quite some time.       We've been at Saratoga now for 4 months and love the complex. We actually paid a full months rent prior to moving in so we could get the unit we wanted which is a second floor Sabal over looking the lake and luminated fountain. Also we think the the best building, convientant to the office, pool, gates and recycling bins. Centrally located to shopping and only 12-15 mins to Siesta Key Beach & Rt.75. Grounds are well manicured and complex kept in very good condition. Staff is wonderful to work with and the maintenance crew very knowledgeable. Quick response when responding to service needs, most of the time same day and in some cases within the hour! We enjoy the complex so much, my brother rented a unit for 3 days when visiting us, an upgraded unit 1/1 that was all stainless with granite and all title floors, much better than hotel rental and the price was right! Special thanks the the girls in the office and the maintenance crew. We will mostly be renewing come the end of Feb.14.

        I have been most pleased with the staffs here, both office and maintenance. They respond to my immediate problems and concerns promptly and courteously. The grounds are immaculate and most renters respect the dog walk areas and clean up behind their animals. Newly added sidewalks and some bathroom renovations have increased my pleasurable experience. Notice is about regular ground and apartment inspections are given prior to those inspections. I find Saratoga Place provides me with stress free at home Iiving!

          We thoroughly enjoy living at Saratoga Place. If we have any problems, such as maintenance issues, they are taken care of within a couple of days, if not the same day. We enjoy the lakes on the property and the neighbors around us. We would recommend this complex and have to others.

            I previously posted as "Waiting2Like". At this time, I want to update my opinion of how our problems have been handled. Cheryl, the Property Manager, is FANTASTIC. The mold odor was resolved with new A/C, once she learned of our problem following my previous post. Also, the noise over our bedroom was eventually handled after working out a time with upstairs tenant. There was a problem with a beam that required repair. Nancy, the Assistant Manager, is very nice and helpful We have learned that unresolved problems get handled when Cheryl or Nancy are the staff personally informed. There is work to maintain the property; however, that is to our best interest. Also, the current owners have had to do work updating newer handicap restrictions that were enacted after complex construction. Workers polite, trying not to be too intrusive considering the work required. We are, now, awaiting someone to clean up after the repairs. There have been several other minor work orders that were handled with little delay. If a tenant has an unresolved problem here, Cheryl the best Property Manager a complex could have is in the Saratoga Place office.

                We came to visit a year and a half ago and stayed at a friends house here in the complex, Needless to say we fell in love with the area and the apartment complex right from the start. We returned to Texas and a few months later decided to make the permanent move to Sarasota and to Saratoga Place on Palmer Ranch. From the moment we contacted the office until today we are extremely happy with everything here. The office staff, specifically Maribel and Nancy were amazing in arranging everything. The maintenance guys always respond to whatever issues in a timely manner. The amenities offered to the residents are great. The location of the complex is superb, great area, low crime and excellent schools. We have just renewed our lease for another year and look forward to being here for many years to come. Overall it has been the best experience ever. We recommend 100%.

                  I have been living in this property for over 4 years and have looked around to see what was available in the market HOWEVER...Saratoga Place is by far the best property in the Palmer Ranch area with gated access and beautiful common areas for residents to enjoy. FAIR for what is FAIR!!!

                    We selected Saratoga Place due to location and appearance of property. We really like the 2/2 unit with lake view. Our unit did not come with any upgrades but we were willing to take it to get the first floor location in the complex we desired and go on waiting list for garage. Upon inspection, after signing lease, we smelled a very moldy/musty odor and waited two weeks to move in while management tried to find cause. It was not found and we had furniture waiting to move so we occupied the unit. We used candles trying to rid this odor but found (after a month) upon changing a/c filter the problem was/is a black looking mold along with gray matter in a/c. A week ago we notified management about this but no one has been able to get to the problem. As of today, we were told maybe tomorrow. We have asthma and history of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia and this odor was/is causing health symptoms. Twice we have sprayed a bleach solution and it helps for a few days. We did have a very positive response due to kitchen faucet water leak causing water to run onto floor. Regarding noise, we have family/friends living in other older complexes and they can hear noise but not bothersome from upstairs unit. However, we have a new tenant who moved in this week and it sounds like an elephant up there. Movers are gone but tenant stomps through unit and our ceilings and paintings on walls will shake. This goes on from early morning until as late as 2:00 a.m. We are trying to be patient since this is their move-in week, but truly hoping this is not typical for this complex. We are hoping the future will be more positive, but our first month has been very unpleasant and, although we would like to recommend this complex to others, we cannot at this time.

It is disconcerting when important requests are missed. We pride ourselves on prompt and efficient service. I sincerely hope that everything was resolved during that appointment you were expecting the next day. Perhaps you could add an update to your review if your opinion has improved? In regards to the noise, you will likely hear day to day living noises from the neighboring apartments, but it sounds like your neighbor went way past the courtesy noise curfew of 10:00pm when they were moving in. Should something like this happen again, please contact our courtesy officer by calling the office number, 941-921-9868, and pressing 5.                       When we were looking for apartments to relocate to Florida from another state, I searched multiple locations, then I used crime mapping and google earth to locate the complex's. I found not only was this a low crime area, but also that it is in an upscale area. The landscaping and outside maintenance is always kept up, and nicely groomed. The pool/spa area has plenty of chairs and loungers for enjoyment, and is very clean and kept up. The apartments have been updated nicely with newer appliances and carpeting/tile and if available, one can choose a beautiful lake view. We required a first floor apt due to my husband being handicapped, and I have felt very safe in the complex and in the apartment. There is minimal noise from outside as well as in the buildings, and we have never in the months living here had any noise concerns. The one time I needed to request maintenance, the team responded promptly and were very courteous. The office staff has a positive 'can do' attitude, and are very helpful and always have a 'Hi' with your name! We would recommend this apartment complex to all ages as there is a nice blend of each in the apartments and everyone that we have met here in the complex has been very friendly. Great complex and outstanding staff make this a pleasurable place to live!

                          We relocated to Florida from the Northeast one year ago. After owning our own home,mowing the lawn, raking leaves, shoveling snow for years we decided renting would be a great change. We lived in another community last year. We were not so satisfied. So we started searching and went on a waiting list for our "Dream" unit at Saratoga Place. Well, Maribel made it a reality and called us when it became available. We moved in three weeks ago. We LOVE it. We are very happy with the change. Everything that we needed, they have helped us with. We haven't met a lot of the neighbor yet, but, we will. We would recommend Saratoga Place to anyone looking for a change. Check out their videos on Youtube. Our unit is a Sabal 2/2 with hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances, ground floor, pond view with a garage. Garden tub,ceiling fans, two walk in closets, storage area as well, with a huge lanai.

                            We love living at Saratoga Place. Our apartment is awesome. Very spacious with tons of closet space and extras like ceilings fans, crown molding, all updated kitchen appliances - even a water filtration system at the kitchen sink! The grounds are beautiful - our guests have described it as 'Disney like'. Office staff has always been great to us - friendly & accommodating. Maintenance is awesome also. The few times we needed a repair, it was always completed within a day of us calling the office. Love the amenities - pool area is so pretty, fitness center is so clean with good machines and it's so convenient to have use of fax & copier in the business center. What more could you ask for!

                              Living at Saratoga Place is like living in a park. Very green, lots of trees, lakes areas to stroll, walk the dog, and barbeque. The layout of the apartment is awesome. Ample FREE storage is an incredible benefit. New appliances are great. But best of all is the staff. The two times (in two years) that we needed maintenance, they were literally here within hours.In addition the office staff especially the office manager is amazing. I think I have only been in the office a handful of times, mostly for package pick up, and they know me by my first name. Even ask how my dog is. minutes to Publix, Westfield mall, shopping, food, and entertainment.

                                Thank you so much for your kind comments. 20% of our 26.6 acres is reserved for green space and wildlife conservation. That's why there is so much space in between each building and you see so many different kinds of birds and animals. Our maintenance team is very experienced and it is typical for our work orders to be completed within two business day. Regarding the response to this review - I am so sorry that your broken item was not fixed quickly. The only reasons that I can imagine is that the person who took your information may have made a very human mistake and not written the work order up for maintenance or that we were having difficulty getting the parts for the repair from our suppliers.                                 I just moved into this complex in Sept 2012 and love,love,love it. The staff and complex are friendly,PROFESSIONAL,caring people. The grounds are beautiful and extremely well kept, as is the pool,fitness center and units. I cannot say enough about this community. I moved all the way from NJ and have visited,owned a lot of properties in this area and this place is by far the nicest.Everyone who works here takes pride in this place and it shows.

                                  Having just moved in a few months ago, and this being my first apartment out of college, this is a wonderful place to live. It is a relatively safe community with a courtesy officer who frequently checks the pools and helps if there is a non emergency, like someone in your space. The place is really well kept, some cosmetic issues on the outside but nothing major. It's really quiet and seems to have a good mix of people. Everyone I've met has been really nice. The office staff seem to be helpful and nice as well. I've had a couple of maintenance requests but all you have to do is call the office and it was handled within 24 hours. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

                                    Greystar is the companies who leads this pitiful, rude office staff. A resident got shot in the head and nobody was notified, if you have children keep them away from this place. Daughter moved into this place 14 months ago. When she moved out the office staff decided to charge her 1580 dollars for light bulbs, light fixtures.These people will charge you a ton of money when you move out. Add 250 dollars to each month and that's what you will be paying to live here . I will post this anonymous but I tell you what if I get a response I will be calling this office staff, on 3 way with the news channel. Greystar needs to go, someone local needs to run this office, the Residence are paying for their salaries

                                      I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We expect normal 'wear and tear' to an apartment. When there are charges added to a move-out it is typically because something we provided in the apartment has been damaged or if a contractor we hire to paint or clean the apartment has charged us an additional fee over and above normal costs to return an apartment back to it's original condition. It is only the additional turnover costs or the lost life of a carpet or appliance that is billed back to a resident. I would be happy to review your move out charges for any inaccuracies.                                       Having just moved into Saratoga Place, I have found it a very pleasant, comfortable place to live. The location is exceptional. Initially, there were several minor things that needed attention and I did not discover them all at the same time. So it necessitated several phone calls to maintenance. All my calls were handled promptly and efficiently. Everyone has been very accomodating and most willing to make me feel welcom. I love it here.

                                        Saratoga Place is a safe place to live. Maintenance always responds in a timely manner, and whenever there is a bug issue, all you have to do is call the office. Everything is very clean, and well kept. We are a gated community and have a courtesy officer at the apartments just in case we need anything. Crime happens every where and it is unfortunate, especially when certain people don't realize there is nothing you can do to stop it. I continue to feel safe and happy at this complex, and I would recommend it to anyone.

                                          Where do I begin.....this complex looked amazing when we moved in. After moving in, everything was going great. Whenever we had any maintenance requests, they were promptly taken care of by the maintenance staff. However, after we started seeing ants and silverfish, the apartment management seemed to dismiss them and didn't seem like it was a big deal. We had to put in at least 5 request for pest control before we finally got rid of the ants, but they have once again returned (these ants show up around the kitchen and bathroom). Then it got a lot worse.....we were away one weekend and came back to a note on our door regarding someone who was going around the complex and impersonating a maintenance man and was trying to gain entry to apartments. About a week ago, I came home and someone continuously tried to follow me into the gate. I brushed it off as nothing until coming home tonight. On our way home, I was reading the the Herald Tribune and found out about a shooting in Palmer Ranch. Upon further reading, I found that the shooting occurred on 8/4/12 in building 6. Four shots were fired and two hit the resident in the head. NO ONE FROM THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE CONTACTED US REGARDING THIS INCIDENT. This is a horrible incident that is exacerbated by a management staff that does not inform residents regarding this. We will definitely be moving out at the end of the lease and highly advise anyone to move elsewhere as this place seems to be going downhill. This is not the Palmer Ranch I envisioned living in.

                                            Great Experience at Saratoga Place

                                            Our experience at Saratoga Place has been fabulous, starting at the Rental Office all the way through the apartment itself, to the maint. folks to the great location. The apartments are perfectly located to the mall, movies, beach, YMCA, bike trail, etc. The apartments are great, high ceilings, fresh paint, new carpets, very nice. The entire staff we have come in contact with have been very friendly, courteous and helpful. You put in a work order, they act on it the next day. The pool is heated and the excercise room has modern equipment. A great experience all the way around. We look forward to returning.

                                              Great Place to live !

                                              This is an exceptional place to live. The office staff is wonderful. This week alone I had 2 great experiences. I called last night to report my dryer wasn't drying quickly. This morning they replaced the dryer immediately. My daughter came to visit this week and she stayed in a beautiful apartment in the complex. Everything was great. It is hard to believe there could be a better place. The landscaping and grounds are always clean. The amazing thing is that there is never noise or any disturbances considering how many people live here.

                                                Great place!

                                                First of all, I am not part of the office staff or the parent company. I have lived here for > 1 year and highly recommend it. The office staff is a delight to deal with and when I have a maintenance problem (rare), it is dealt with promptly and efficiently. The apartments themselves are very nice with adequate storage. I have not seen any bugs and that is rare in Florida! No noise or neighbor problems and the grounds are immaculate. The community is gated and I feel very safe and secure. I have been an apt dweller my whole life and this is one of my favorites.

                                                  RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!

                                                  The rude lady's name is ARABELLE. I called to request more information on renting an apartment here. The only available ones they have are 1 bed 1 bath. I told her my husband is Military and getting out in a few months. I told her he already has a job, so we are looking to move in January. She then ASSUMED we would be breaking our lease and said, "Are you breaking your lease now!?" I said, "no, we live on post... so if my husband is out of military there is NO lease". She didn't understand anything I was saying. She then put me on hold for about 7 min, then came back and said, "well we will need background checks on both of you and credit checks". I then said no problem.... we both work for dept. of defense, so 10 year background check is required of us, and then I asked why MY credit would need checked b/c we would be going on my husbands salary, due to the fact that I will not be working. I also told her we JUST bought a new vehicle, so we have a recent credit report and I told her we were worried that checking our credit score so many times will bring our score down. She didn't care. She said IT IS OUR POLICY TO CHECK BOTH CREDIT SCORES. I then repeated that we have a recent one, and we live about 12 hours away so I would be faxing everything to her. She could care less what I had to say, which is SAD because we really wanted to live here. They advertise on USAA, which is ALL ABOUT MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES. I will be contacting USAA to let them know that this place doesn't give a ____ about Military Members who fight and put their lives on the line to protect this country. I will also be contacting her boss to let them know that they are losing clients because of her attitude problem.
