The review is intended for anyone considering applying for a rental at this place. They earned 1 star for the building. It's new, the studio floorplan is spacious, the amenities are great, and the location is perfect. The earned 1 more star for their leasing staff, but I'm reluctant to even put it on here. They're quick to reply to any questions you may have, but they'll definitely push you to apply as soon as possible. In my case I didn't even see the unit before I applied, but I couldn't pass on a bargain so I bit the bullet. They lose 1 star for their application fees and their upper management. The application fee is $100 which is already sort of outrageous, but they also have you pay a $200 admin fee which is non-refundable after 72 hours. You'd think they'd process the application in less than 72 hours, but they won't. In my case I was told I was "approved", but I wasn't given anything official. I agreed to pay $3,135 in deposits to move in and I still wasn't given anything official. My instincts tell me that they were waiting until the 72 hours ran through in order to keep the additional $200. They lose 1 star for the construction that's happening around the building. They can have that star back when it's done. They lose this last star because I'm out $100 and I wasted a bunch of my time. So, moral of the story is this: be prepared to pay a $300 application fee. Does that scream of racket? I sure thought so.

From start to finish we viewed the unit, completed all the needed paperwork, and signed the lease all online without stepping into the building. We have never attempted this before and it was fantastic.

The experience has been wonderful, so far. The staff, facility, neighbors and surrounding businesses have been a breath of fresh air! Surprisingly, the noise from the fire department and train has proven to be very minimal! Definitely a plus!!

Arlo has been great! The location is amazing and the staff members are excellent. Everything is new in the building in terms of appliances, and the rooms have very good layouts that make them seem larger than the actual square footage. The walls must be pretty thick, because I have never heard any neighbors (I honestly am not sure if anyone lives on either side of me or above me). I guess the only complaint I would have is that the corners of the parking garage can be a little dangerous when driving, especially because a lot of residents speed through and make wide turns. Overall, it is an amazing place to live, I can't think of any other negatives!

Everyone is nice and friendly and there are countless amenities. The staff is very quick to respond and is always very helpful. Place is clean and in a very nice location close to many restaurants and the Marta station. I would choose this place again if I could go back in time

The office staff are very helpful and quick to bring resolution to issues. Residents of the community are very friendly and courteous. The building was also constructed better than most recent dwellings, as for once I don't hear everything happening outside of my apartment.

Arlo is located in one of the best locations in Decatur: right across from the fire department and a quick walk to the grocery store. The units are small but well well that you'd think you were in a larger space.

It's a decent apartment room to live in, but you're living around people who are racist and discriminate. There are tons of people here who falsely accuse others because of their skin color. The management knows about this but they still don't do anything about it. You can't have a few friends over or else they say it's a lease violation and threaten you. Neighbors and management call the police for playing music at half volume during the day. Also there's a lot of drug dealers who live in the vicinity and the halls smell like marijuana, so since there's not many young people living at arlo , young people and minorities get blamed even when you haven't done anything. If you don't want to ruin your record, I strongly would not recommend living here, since they give you lease violations for doing nothing wrong, which could lead to an eviction and mess your record up for life. Good luck on your apartment search.

I moved in while the remaining do for the building was still under final construction, so I knew there would be some growing pains. It's taken awhile to get all the amnesties up and working and still all are not complete. No dog wash and no bike storage. Plus they said we'd have a pool table and so far all we have is corn hole. The sophistication that was promised has not been delivered.

The units are new and are beautiful. They have a nice dog park and should have car chargers soon, which was really important to us. The location is hard to beat as it is very close to the MARTA station and all of the great places to eat in Decatur. So far, so good!

The office staff is great. Shane and Janai has always been super nice. The building itself is new, but amenities have been slow to catch up. Rental bikes were supposed to be included, but have taken awhile to show up. Gym equipment televisions do not work, the lounge does not have games or anything besides the one television, so if someone else is using it - you are out of luck. The gym is supposed to get something put on the windows for privacy and package notice is sometimes hit or miss. I think the main thing is just communication or a timeline would fix all of this. I am sure a lot of this is being worked on, but all we know living here, is stuff doesn't work and we don't know why it doesn't. Great location in Decatur though.

Everyone on the staff at ARLO has been very helpful, and super nice to me. The location is superb in regards to enjoying the city of Decatur. The residents here are warm and friendly, and most importantly, I feel very safe living in this community.

The location of the apartment is convenient for work and my child's daycare. Wonderful community with great restaurants and parks. The leasing staff is very helpful and responsive. Parking is also convenient. Though the mandatory valet trash is unnecessary because the garbage shoot is down the hall.

It has been a great experience. Everyone in the office have been very courteous and professional and are very attentive. It is a great location with many different restaurants within walking distance. It is in an urban setting so there is some. Pose but it is a great place so far.

Nice apartment, facilities and staff. Short walking distance to downtown. Good variety of residents and all appear to be friendly. Evening train horn and regular firetruck sirens are somewhat annoying, but tolerable.

Very convenient location. Nice and friendly staff. Modern apartments that are brand new. It is a downtown location, so it can get noisy at times with sirens and trains, but you get used to it. I like it here.
