I RECENTLY MOVED TO CASWYCK TRAILS, AND IT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE THAT I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY LIFE! THE OFFICE STAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND ACT AS THOUGH YOU OWE THEM SOMETHING. THEY HAVE ROACHES FOR YEARS AND I SPECIFICALLY ASKED ABOUT PEST PROBLEMS DUE TO MY SON'S HEALTH ISSUE. I WAS ASSURED NUMEROUS TIMES THAT THERE WERE NO ROACHES HERE, A DAMN LIE!!!!! IT SEEMS THAT IS ALL THE OFFICE STAFF HERE DOES IS LIE... I WISH THAT I COULD PUT IN A YEARS NOTICE BECAUSE I WILL DEFINITELY BE LEAVING ONCE MY LEASE IS UP.... SAVE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE AND RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS ROACH INFESTED PLACE AS YOU CAN, UNLESS YOU ENJOY ROACHES IN BED WITH YOU, CRAWLING AROUND WHILE YOUR EATING, OR BEING IN THE SHOWER WITH YOU THEN THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO BE!

STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Take heed when i say do not move into this complex, no matter what you will be begging to get out the day you move in. Thank God im moving and i can't wait. Management is a scam, they always enter your apartment unexpectedly, the morning after i moved in the manager was entering my apartment with a woman to do god knows what!! claiming he thought my apartment was vacant, repairs are never done. Oh my THE ROACHES R SERIOUS!! I'm from ny and never dealt with roaches in my apartment like this! it seems like when pest control comes their feeding them cause i see even more! I had fleas in my bedroom and bathroom when i moved in and they acted like it was no big deal! Its not safe in here for the kids at all, i tried breaking my lease and they want to charge an arm and a leg for that. Management has changed too many times since i've been here, they were overcharging on the water bills. management is soooo ------ and nosey they don't have anything better to do than be all up in your business...their a joke! There's always criminal activity going on and police activity..its crazzyyyy. There were so many break ins and so many robberies. My advice is don't do it!! don't move in...not even if your life depends on it!!

u would not like living here in these aparments there lot of drugs rape gun and police in here like everyday caswycktrail is a bad expirence for me and my wife i hate living here they never come and fix anything i been telling them about a leak for like 2 months still has no one fix it yet S.W.A.T team as in her like last week b.c busted a dude was 2 crazy u can go on youtube andd watch it trust me you dont want to move in HERE!!!!!!

Theft!! Maintence,General Staff, BUGS

So I moved in Caswyc Trail apts in Oct of 2009, on our first night we stayed up all night spraying, and bombing the apt due to the fact that not only did we have gigantic roaches we had a live lizard living in the hall closet !!! Seriously, Called maintenace they had me live with the lizard for two almost three days before somone came to assist me in removing it!! Since that day 8months later we have finally been sleep without the fear of bugs. It took 8 treatments over a 5 month period to finally live bug free! I filed my GA tax return in feb was supposed to have a check mailed to the apt, it was mailed and stolen clean out of my mail box, due to the fact of my second mailbox key being missing from the office!!! The issue was reported to the Staff, no one could help me find the missing key!! The police are involoved now. This situation continues to get worse because my bills are coming up missing, as well. Still no help. And last the staff Sucks balls, there was a nice man who worked there Brad he cared and tried to help me, hes the reason i've stayed this long, and hes no longer with the company, imagine that. With that being said im desperatly looking for a new place to live, I will not recomend this place to anyone, nor will I finsih my lease!!!

Don't live here.

Horrible. We moved to GA from New Mexico and had to find a place to live online and through the phone, since we weren't able to visit before the move. They swore up and down our townhouse had a washer-dryer hookup, and when we got there, of course it didn't. At that point it was too late to find another place, and they had no other comparable units available. We had 3 break-ins at the house. Twice, the cops called me from inside my house. On the last occasion, our own neighbors were arrested and charged with the break-in while we were out of town. I guess Caswyck Trail doesn't check out who they're renting to. They kept coming into our house after we told them not to. They frequently came in without notice. They aggressively put chemicals in people's units for pest control (although I will say I never saw a bug inside), but we didn't want to chemicals since we have indoor cats. I said I wanted to opt out and they told me I'd have to pay a fee to opt out. While this was annoying, I agreed to it. But every single month I would get a little notice in my kitchen saying "we applied pest control". And every time I'd go and complain and ask them not to do it again. Basically, the place looks nice from the outside, but the staff doesn't listen to people, and there's a lot of crime. After everything that happened, they wanted to charge us over $2000 to break our lease, and we're still dealing with it. Definitely, definitely NOT recommended.

So happy that I moved here!

I recently moved in and I couldn't be happier. I was hesitant to move in after reading some of the reviews posted on here but they are so WRONG! The leasing staff is friendly, professional and timely when responding to concerns. I look forward to living here for many years!

I live here now. I told my husband that i didn't want to live here. Now he sees why. Our kids been sickly ever since we've been in august of 2009. The roaches, I wish i can put them in a bag and throw it at management. It is nasty and terrible experience for me and my family. We are in the process of looking for another place to live. Every time i see a new family move in, i feel bad for them. Don't even think about moving here it is horrible

Caswyck Trails is a hellhole!!!

Caswyck Trails may look nice at first glance, but trust me the place is a hell hole. Since I have moved in I have had nothing but problems with bugs, a sorry and ineffective leasing staff, a maintence staff that does absolutely nothing, trash everywhere, and incidents involving law enforcement happening almost every week. My experience living there was like a year long nightmare and I would urge anyone considering moving into Caswyck Trails not to!!

NICE APARTMENT WHEN YOU FIRST MOVE IN, BUT IS INFESTED WITH GERMAN ROACHES, MAINTENACE HAS IMPROVED SINCE ANOTHER NEW MANAGEMENT HAS COME IN, BUT I WAS ONLY THERE A 1 1/2 AND WENT THRU 3 MANAGEMENTS. THE INSIDE OF THE BUILDING WHERE YOU ENTER WAS ALSO SMELLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE CARPET, AND ALSO THE TENANTS WOULD KEEP DIRTY AND THE COMPLEX ONLY CAME IN ABOUT 1X A MONTH TO COME VACCUM

In due time

I actually live here now. when i 1st moved in I was on section 8. No longer do i received that one I got a good paying job..I've been living here since I was in 11th grade.(1999) i moved out and came back 2-3years later once i had my baby. Since i have been back i moved from a different building. Its actually quiet where I live now. The kids are all over the place. Maintenance can suck out my ---; they are lazy as ----.Never have them do repairs and you are not home....they may eat your food and watch your TV lord knows what else. The office staff....one word ------- even the men literally. Breaks in have occured. My mom's appt was broken into and she lives on the 2nd floor. They act as if they dont care, which im sure they dont. Management has changed soooooooo many times I stopped counting. If it was not for the free after school care that my child recieves and my mom stayin close by i would be gone. In due time I will be gone.

I dont know who said it wasnt all that bad, but they LIE. The only people that like it here are the people who are part of the problem. There is auto vandelism, gun shots, horrible pest control, and everything in between. I dont know about you, but that is bad to me. BAD A** kids are always in the streets to where you cant drive. Lord forbid if your kids are good and you move them out here, bad influence everywhere. DO NOT MOVE HERE! If you see the prices are a lil cheaper here and consider moving here because of that, rethink. Pay an extra $50 and move somewhere else. Believe me, it is worth it.

It wasn't that bad--I've lived here twice!

Now I don't know anything about dealing with staff, but I used to live here with my dad when I was younger and it wasn't that bad.....about nine years later I stayed here with a friend and it actually looks better. I mean yes, he had a problem with getting the key to the mailbox, but that was about it. As far as roaches go, are you sure the cause of that isn't user related(we kept the apartment spotless)? I hadn't seen a single roach the first time I lived here, or the last time. I'm actually considering moving back over here on my own. I lived here 1998-1999, and 2007-2008 *note: please stop giving me a hard way to go. I didn't realize it would rack so many nerves saying I enjoyed living somewhere*

The worst decision you can ever make

Nothing is right about the apartments, 3 or 4 people in my unit got burgularized, including me. It is not safe, you will be paying cheap rent, but also living a paranoid life. People are constantly watching you, especially to see when you leave for work and get home. Management sucks and they just dont care. The rats are ridiculous and the trash is even worse. The children dont have any respect for anyone and they never sleep, outside at all times of the night. If you do decide to move there make sure you have renters insurance and get a big dog(PIT BULL). Its not like management cares. But please reconsider another apartment, there are others that are reasonably priced.

HORRIBLE

I only lived here for a year but that was 364 days too long. I went and looked at the complex when everyone was at work and kids were at school. By the time I actually moved in, everyone was home from work, kids were home from school and it was absolutely horrible. I would never and have never recommended this complex to anyone. I have to co sign what everyone else is saying...the neighbors are horrible; maintenance sucks; whenever I called security, they never came. My car was broken in to-twice. And someone tried to break into my apartment. If it had not been for the extra dead bolt my dad put on the door, they probably would have gotten in.

HORRIBLE

INFESTED with roaches!!!! we had to throw away so much when we moved including our boxspring. loud kids in the streets from 2years old to grown ppl who act like kids!!!! always about to get hit by a car. it took management 3 weeks to vaccum a hallway with hot cheetos, nut shells and chicken bones in the hallway!!! management sux they gave us a 3day eviction notice and we never paid even late. after a lot of drama theyr ealized they never cashed the checks!

It is horrible

It is really horrible. I beleive most tenants here gets subsidise rent.A lot of noise, a lot of kids.My next door has over 8 kids in that apartment.It is unbearable.Maintenace is a mess.

VERY SATISFIED!

I READ THE REVIEWS THAT WERE NOT SO GREAT. I DECIDED TO CHECK CASWYCK TRAIL OUT FOR MYSELF. WHEN I WENT TO VIST THE LEASING AGENT WAS INCREDIBLY NICE TO ME. DURING MY VISIT SHE KEPT ASKING WHAT WAS IMPORTANT TO ME. THAT SHOWED ME THAT SHE REALLY CARED. I WENT AND GOT MY DEPOSIT THAT DAY AND PUT IN MY APPLICATION. WITHIN A WEEK I MOVED INTO MY 2 BEDROOM TOWNHOME. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS MY MAILBOX KEY WAS NOT READY WHEN I MOVED IN. THE STAFF WAS SO NICE TO ALLOW THE MAIL CARRIER TO BRING MY MAIL TO THE OFFICE SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE POST OFFICE TO PICK IT UP. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY NEW HOME AND THE SERVICE I RECIEVED. I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED 3 PEOPLE TO MOVE HERE!

Please, listen! This place is horrible!

If you want details just email me at Ms.Tira@yahoo.com. To keep it short, no one in the office (security, management, or maintanence) has returned an emergency call i made. I had to either call Cobb County Police, or leave my apartment so my children and I could stay in a hotel. The trash is ALWAYS overflowing. Rats the size of dogs are always running about the trash area. Managers know about on-site problems vandalism, break-ins, etc and do nothing. I mean, nothing. I have complained to them many times and they do nothing. Maintanence takes FOREVER to do anything. So far to fix a leaking and collapsing ceiling runs them about 4 weeks to get to. The assistant manager (the blonde-haired one) is so unreasonable and crazy(because my downstairs neighbor who is rarely at home claims that my children [ages 2 yrs and 2 mos] are meneces). I told her that my toddler doesn't make any excessive noise and neither does my baby; we are not loud people. She insists that my 2 year should be seated when in MY apartment at all times. I told her the day she pays my rent is the day she can tell me what my children should be doing in my apartment. When I first moved in, Papa John's would not deliver over here because they were getting robbed so much. A friend of my mother-in-law had his place broken into about two weeks ago. The teens are out at all times of the night getting themselves pregnant and vandalizing and making noises. They stand in the middle of the street and don't move!! You almost have to knock them down to get out of the complex. My downstairs neighbor's daughter had the audacity to have sex on stairs in the hallway. "Security" was smoking weed in the gazebo one night. Also, the night air smells only of marijuana where I live. These idiots even changed our gas company without notifying us first. All of a sudden I have two gas bills in the mail and I'm confused. People get arrested over here on a weekly, even daily, basis. I hate that my children see this. There's gang paraphernalia and grafitti everywhere. I have heared gunshots fired. Please take our word for it. I was told about this site before I moved here. My ex read some reviews, but I didn't think it could be this bad. IT IS AND MORE. Reading it and living through it.... living it is worse. The staff are nice until you move in.

CASWYCK TRAIL IS SOOOO ------!!!

First of all I want to say to anyone reading this review and the former commenters, for anything you need repaired or complaints about ------ residents and staff, email signature management's Regional Manager and/or CEO and they move their butts! Go to www.signaturemanagement.com. I had to do this to get several things done, now I just go straight to the email I don't even bother calling the office. Just like the rest of you I am waiting to get out of this lease as well. The number of apartment breakins have gone through the roof, and I hate to tell you office staff is involved in some. So anyone looking for an apartment let me confirm for you the roaches are terrible, they don't care who they let in, and yes the property can be pretty filthy with overflowing trash compactors. I HATE living here. I moved into the complex in the Fall and within a week I was calling Cobb County Police for noise and menacing in this apartment building. UPON MOVING IN: They said my apartment would be ready on a specific date. I called a moving company and was ready to move that day. These people didn't have my place ready and cost me an extra $300 because we had to wait for them to finish. They didn't apologize or make any accomodations for THEIR error! Maintenace refused to come by after hours to light the gas pilot too. I have asked many, many times for a copy of my lease, and they still haven't given it to me. BUILDING CODE: We have NO working smoke detectors in the hallways of the building. When I call for maintenance, no one shows up. SECURITY On site "security" smokes marijuana at the gazebo and fratenize with the high school girls. I've called the emergency line, and no one calls back or shows up. HEALTH/SAFETY The trash is a huge issue, it's always overflowing and cluttering the street. The rats are HUGE!! and they live by the trash so don't take your trash out at night. People's doors are getting kicked in and cars vandalized. OFFICE "PROFESSIONALS" I called the manager about the problems here, and he says they can't do anything about it because crime is everywhere. They refused to let me out of the lease. They send out a curefew letter to all the residents but do not enforce it. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! The staff uses pleasant voice tones when answering the phone, but once you begin to complain they cut you off, place you on hold, and belittle your intelligence. The office staff uses a condescending tone of voice when you advise them of problems, even maintence issues. ON SITE: People smoke marijuana outside in broad daylight like it's legal, while the kids are about! People leave trash on their porches that eventually spread to the walk-ways and parking spaces. Teens are out at 10 and 11pm just roaming around and making noise. They run through the apartment hallways while stomping up and down the stairs. There are obvious drug deals going on here too. Papa John's will NOT deliver over here due to their drivers being robbed on a regular basis. I have witnessed people getting arrested weekly... my two-year-old has seen this too, and that saddens me. Children shouldn't have to be subject to that. OH YEAH, the washers and dryers on-site: Many are broken but will take your money anyway. The car wash area is advertised in apartment ads but it doesn't work. I was told about this place before I moved but I thought the person was exaggerating. I wish I had listened.... I have a two year old and an infant and I'm afraid for our safety. If you call the emergency line and leave a message, no one gets back to you. If you move here, have an emergency savings account for hotel rooms for your family, because something WILL happen and no one will respond(other than Cobb County), and you will want a safe place to stay. One night I drove all the way to AL, because of kids knocking on my door then running and tampering with my locks. MOVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Worst Ever

This is the worst apartment complex ever. The trash is constantly overflowing and is continously piled disgustingly high. Rats have made a den near the trash dumpster and are as big as cats. Customer service at the rental office is terrible; they make every effort to move a person into an mediocre apartment and treat you like the garbage they can't seem to dispose of. The maintenance crew or lack there of is... the worst ever. To be blunt, they suck. Residents have their small kids running around unsupervised and at all times of the night. I can't wait until my lease is up to escape... the worst ever. The laundry facilities are filthy with broken machines that take your money and no way to get a refund.

Not so bad!

I moved in on March 1 2008. I'm really enjoying the new place. It's very spacious and quiet. I only hear the children on the weekends - which is to be expected. I like the fact that they do have the Discovery Center to occupy the children after school and offer a free after school program. THe staff is extremely nice and pleasant. The rent is reasonable. I really like the stream and woods behind my apartment, it's peaceful. The only insects I've ever found in my apartment or garage are spiders - no way to get rid of those critters anywhere you live.

The garbage disposing area ia always over-flowing. I guess they don't want to pay to get the garbage removed. And believe me when I say, The garbage is literally piled high and all over the sidewalk in front of that area. Its been like that for about five days now. It will be emptied eventually, but will be over flowing again soon after. when you first move in they make an attempt to fix what wasn't working well. after that, you better buy some tools and learn to fix things yourself 'cause you're on your own. It's a tax exempt place and they just don't care. They believe that alot of us have no choice because the rent is cheaper than some other places.What about all the families that don't live in a tax exempt apartment? Maybe this whole place is nothing more than the projects and we don't know yet. Thank GOD my lease is almost ended. NEVER MOVE HERE!!! Oh, and they have plenty kick-ins too.

So Far, Not so good.

I have lived here for three months, Thank god I am only staying here temporary with my mom until I can get an apartment of my own. but since we moved in, in October, there has been so many problems. 1rst the heating system here is so old and broke down that when we got our gas connected it wouldn't work. We called maintenance and the Smashed a HUGE whole in the closet wall you can see directly into the kithcen from my mothers bedroom closet, not only is the hole still there today but they never even cleaned up the mess they left on the floor from smashing in the wall. Next we had to deal with KIDS, KIDS, KIDs, Preteens in our hall just hanging out on the stairs talking loud and dirty and using profanity, so loud we can't even watch TV in the livingroom. We went to the office and they basically said there is nothing they can do about it. They have so called security but I never see them and they will not provide tenants with a number to call in cases like that. I read in another blog that the office people never answer the phone, that is SOOOO TRUE. It's like they keep it off so they won't have to deal with complaints. Next problem the apartments are so drafty our gas bill was sky high because of it, so we had to decide either freeze or pay a ridiculous gas bill. Lastly what cause me to write this is the fact that we have been three days now with out a drop of water. My guess is that the pipes froze(no one came to tell us anything) I had to call the office after many attempts they finally answered the phone and we asked about the water, "why do we not have any running water?" They just kept saying "We are working on it maam." but when I stepped outside I saw no one, I even walked around the building, there was nobody fixing the problem. Today is day three no water, I have not showered, I could not cook or wash dishes, or even flush the toilet. I can not afford a hotel and no other relatives to stay with. we are just suffering until the pipe thaw out I guess. I am not lying of exaggerating one bit about anything that I have wrote if you are thinking about moving here please think again.
