DO NOT RENT HERE!! This place is absolutely disgusting - the washers/dryers are infested with cockroaches, there is dog poo ALLLLLL over the property, the maintenance people rip the grass up with their go-carts, the roofing is falling off, you can hear animals run across your ceiling every so often, the office staff is rude as can be, in short, Timber Lake is more akin to a slum than an apartment complex. Save yourself the misery!

still the same as last time I filled out my last survey, I enjoy living here and it is close to my work and places that I need to go. Shopping is close, work is close, dining is close. And if I need to do big things to wash, they are close too.

When I first moved in, Timber Lakes was owned by someone else. When TI Communities took over, things were improved, little by little. HOWEVER, my rent is being raised SO MUCH EVERY YEAR, that I may have to move.

It's been a smooth transition from my previous residence! Front office personnel has been very professional with my needs. I recommend everyone to come and see these layouts! I just started living here and am very happy with the renovations!!!

You’re better off living in the streets
Absolute disgrace of a business. Terrible management and even worse housing. Roads were destroyed for years, filled with pot holes until the city decided to step in. Even then, the managers decide to poach on their community by towing vehicles that are authorized to park in their lots. 1/10 in all categories of living.

I signed the contract and after that, they gave me an old apartment with bad floor, bad sink, bad kitchen cabinets, sometimes it smells bad, I’m dissatisfying with this building, I think I choice the wrong decision living in here.

I use to live at the timberlake apartment for 4 years i had lots of problems with this people i finally decied to move out they are rude,disrespectful,they have no communication they'll be making mad faces my friend when to get an apartment and they were just making her mad face and being rude i dont recommend this apartments.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! POOR LIVING CONDITIONS, ROACHES, FILTHY, KIDS PLAY IN HALLWAY AND MAKE NOISE ALL NIGHT LONG- UNPROFESSIONAL ------ STAFF JUST BAD BAD AND MORE BAD. stabbings, murder and gangs don't bother you?
I toured the complex and have visited a friend who lived there. The name was changed from Kings Crossing or Kings Court after the last stabbing and/or murder. There have been many. When I drive through the parking lots, I still see a lot of gang graffiti and "groups" hanging out and getting drunk. Not where I want my family. I rented a condo about 1 mile south at Autumncrest. With condos, the neighbors own and care about their community.

This place is a dump! DO NOT move here!!
I am in my 9th month here and I have to say this is the worst place I have ever lived. I would rather live in my car then stay another day in this dump! From the moment we moved into this place we have had nothing but problems. Our frige and heat did not work the first day we moved in. That was fixed. Then we had water leaking from out ceiling in our bathroom this has still not been fixed after two different visits. They will just come in to your apartment even if you say you dont want them to. This summer has been pure hell. We have roaches which are disgusting I have never seen a roach in my life until i moved to this dump! We have set roach traps and packed all of our food in air tight containers and it has done nothing. Our air conditioning pours buckets of water from the ceiling. We have had them out 3 times now and they still cant fix it. The people that live here are scum! this past weekend we left early sat. morning and there were prob 20 beer cans scattered all over the halls food they vandalize the walls in the hallways. These people let there kids run around like animals they destroy cars and the property. Our cars have been hit, scratched, dented you cant find parking if you come home after 9:00 pm. Its funny when you move in they tell you if you dont have a parking sticker they tow your car after 12:00 haha ya right I have NEVER seen a tow truck here. On the weekends you have to park a mile away from your apartment! Oh and they tell you they have a nice laundry facility this is a joke! we have one washer in our entire building and one dryer they are both crap. The other washer has had dirty water sitting in for about 6 months now and no one fixes it the whole first floor smells like nasty water. We went the toe Laudry building omg this is the most disgusting place i have ever seen. They have washers that work but like one dryer that works. The office staff is horrible!!! they are liers and scammers do not believe anything they tell you. I wish I would have done more research on this place before I moved here! I hope this helps someone to not move here! seriously you can pay between $50 and a $100 more and live in a nice place.This place is full of gang bangers and low lifes I have only met 2 nice people from this place. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

what a joke
roaches for days here nad the main topper they enter your apartment with no notice at all. What the hell is that all about, I have a 14 year old daughter that does not open the door for no one she heard a knock on the door and ran to the room cause she was scared and they fricken came in my apartment with no notice at all that pisses me OFF... Dont go to westwood if you do get ready for a nightmare of your life.

Office management
Most of our dealings have been w/ Lydia and Wendy. We have nothing but nice things to say about both of them. We highly reccomend Westwood and the office staff. Maint. guys Pedro and Igli are fantastic. As soon as we put in for a maint. call they're there fxing what we need. We give them a 10!

If you like living with huge nasty roaches Westwood is your place
I have never seen a roach in the 24 years that I have been alive but this year when I moved to Westwood that is all ive seen. I'm attaching two photos of the disgustin roached we found the pink fluid is dishsoap something ive learned kills them almost instantly something you may want to keep in mind if you choose to move here you will need a lot of it. Not only do we have roaches we also have water that pours through our ceiling everytime we use our A/C also attaching a picture of the lovely bucket we must have in the middle of our kitchen everyday to catch the stream of water. Also a picture of the mold that is starting to form on the ceiling and staining. Maintence is a joke these guys look like they are from the streets they dont call before they come in they dont leave a copy of a work order they dont speak english and they dont care at all if your issues are taken care of. They pretty much show up and do nothing the office staff is beyond a joke they also dont speak english when you call about a problem they cut you off and say oh we will send someone then hang up on you and no one ever comes. They also do not have a laundry area they say they do when you sign the lease but they do not the only way this place would be nice is if they burned it down and re-built it and got rid of all the people that work for this company Im moving out in December and I am counting down the days to get the hell out of this place The people that live here are also horrible gang members galore our cars have been vandalized its not safe here at all I hope this helps somone to not move here I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy!

Horrible Management and Poor Pest Control
This is my second year at Westwood and since renewing my lease the complex has become nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I have had to deal with mice and roach infestations. We aren't swarming with roaches, but we have been getting them consistantly. The property manager has said that they cannot spray all of the units in our building for the pests because some of the tennants do not speak English and cannot read. I have no idea why regular building maintenace is an issue, but these people do not care if you are dealing with any kind of a pest problem. We have had our apartment treated for roaches 2 times and the 3rd time the exterminator (Russ) came out he sprayed down the hallways of our building. Unfortunately, since the "problem" units cannot be treated as well, after the spray deactivates (about 2-3 hours after it is sprayed) we still see more of our lil' bug friends. Every time we have had our unit treated we have had to throw out food and board our dog because everyone in the unit needs to vacate for several hours till it is safe to return. Of course we are not reimburst for a dime. Aside from the pest problems, we have had so many maintenance issues as well. Our heaters did not work properly until October of 2008! We moved in during late June of 2007. Every time Pedro checked out our heaters he turned them on and said "Oh, it works for me." Nevermind the fact that the heaters shut off after 20 minutes(they are electric heaters), leaving our home FREEZING and costing us $$$ during the winter. Our electric bill topped $240 twice. At least after 10 months of saying our heaters didn't work, they got a couple of our heaters functioning and our bill is back to normal. The office personell. Hmm. They are a whole issue by themselves. One person, named Leta/Leeda not sure how to spell her name - She has no concept of how to file a work order let alone master the English language herself. After reporting the bug issue above, Russ the exterminator had left my husband a voicemail to find out a good time to spray our unit again. My husband called the office back and spoke to Leta, she told him he was a liar and that we had never complained of any bug problems. That is just AWESOME - if we didn't complain why did they call us and leave us a message genius?!? The nicest office worker/leasing consultant so far is Wendy. Although, she really can't fix any issues herself, but at least she understands English and the fine art of acting empathetic. The office also does not supply copies of any work done on your apartment. So if you have an issue and someone shows up to "fix" it there is no documentation. My husband and I have requested copies of these work orders (I always had copies of any work done in my home everywhere else I rented). We were told by the property manager that they don't keep work orders onsite and they will have to get clearance for corporate to give us any paperwork. I know this is long, but honestly - The rent is lower and for a good reason, you get what you pay for and this place is pretty shabby. They do not take care of their tennants. We are also very good tennants. We have taken care of our unit, we keep it very clean and always pay our rent ontime. This place has been just the worst experience I have ever had when renting. Needless to say, we will not be renewing our lease with these people.

Not so bad
This is an older apartment complex. The back buildings are more modern. I have vaulted ceilings and a fireplace in my apartment. When my fridge broke, they had it fixed that day and left the kitchen clean. You'd never even know that they had been there. The office staff has always been nice to me. Overall, I have no complaints.

roach infestation! Very poor maintenance
This place is nasty! no matter how clean you are, you will have roaches. I bug bombed the place once a month and kept it spottless, but they still came back because the whole building was infested. I complained multiple times, but no action was ever takin. Once, the roof had a leak and damaged my celing, the hole and mold remained there until I moved out. I had asked management to come and repair the damage 6 times, and nothing ever happened.<br>I could not even bring a woman friend over without them being harrased and whistled at by other tennants in the parking lot and even yelling vulgar words off there balcony. Parking was a horrible, my car was broken into, keyed and windows broken all on seperate occasions. I broke my lease early, went to court to finalize it, and two years later, $4,000 debt shows up on my credit report. even though I have documents showing I got out of the lease, the coorporate management insists I owe all this money, I am currently filing a law suit to fight this. I feel sorry for anyone who lives there, you can find much better for the money

a corner of hell.
I would rather live in a hut on the side of the road with no indoor plumbing in a third world country then renew my lease with this little corner of HELL. <br><br>Gunshots at night, cockroaches all over the place, rats, and sullen management make this place HORRIBLE. <br><br>Management repeatedly refused to fix appliances that were broken and DANGEROUS (gas leak) and told me i'd just have to deal with it. <br><br>Hallways reeked of urine. <br><br>NO parking whatsoever- heaven forbid you work a 3-11 shift and then come home and have to park on the grass, and then the cops write you a ticket for parking illegally. <br><br>Please don't move here, you'll thank me later.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS APT. COMPLEX
This is such a horrible area. <br><br>DO NOT BOTHER PLEASE !!!!!<br><br>The property manager sucks... their staff are all arrogant. When you want something fixed, maintenance people take forever to follow thru. One time, they forgot to turn off the oven. Gosh !! <br><br>The A/C would always be a problem... even the sears guy they called to fix the problem, said they had dumb maintenance people. <br><br>Its so irritating that we vaccum our apartment everyday, but when maintenance comes, they dont even bother to put on plastic booties. Instead of maintaining the apt. they cause the mess !!! Boy !!!<br><br>When they do fix something... they will leave<br>the area untidy.... example, if they fix the bathroom, they will leave tissue paper lying around.... floor all messed up with dirt coming from their dirty shoes....<br><br><br>Parking is HELL !! Too many illegal -------- staying, thats why there are too many cars parked. Dont bother bringing in grocery at the end of the day coz you wont have a spot.<br><br>DONT BOTHER communicating with the corporate office because they are worse. They dont call you back, they are as rude as the apartment property personnel. <br><br>YOU WILL BE SO PISSED, IM TELLING YOU.... Those who will say this apartment complex is nice.... dont trust them... they are most probably from the mid america management group. <br><br>Try to go around the place first... walk up and down the hallway... you will most probably smell "pot".... by the way... a lot of arrests too...<br><br>I can go on and on...... please take this as a warning !!!!

This place is the worse. Live elsewhere. Run for your life!
There is no assigned parking and the parking lot does not have clear lines, so people park anywhere and many times take up two spaces. The management company is ridiculously unprofessional. All they care about is money and any requests go unheard until they want you to re-sign the lease. I'm getting out next month. Neighbors are loud and management does nothing. All they want is for the police to intervene.
