The first couple of years living in Highcrest Townhomes were decent. But with each passing year, the overall quality has gone down significantly. Management has changed so frequently that I never know who is managing the property on site. In the last year, when you call the office during office hours, you can never get a live person. You either get a recording or an off site answering service. The last two days I've been trying to contact the office with a maintenance issue and after the phone rings 3 times, it says some automatic message and disconnect the call. Not allowing for anyone to leave a message. The rent is ridiculously high and the apartment units are very outdated for the price I'm paying.

This place used to be a good place to live years ago which is why my family came back here when we needed more room. But now (several management companies later)it's been a different story. Repairs are so hard to get done here that I've several times had to come out of my pocket to pay for things to get done in a timely manner. The rent continues to go up as living conditions deteriorate. Almost all of my closet doors have fallen off, I was promised a new floor because mine was in poor condition due to the large dog that lived here prior to me leaving deep scratches in the floors, I was promised replacement floors but nothing. One bedroom doesn't have any doors on the closet because they keep falling off and the last time one of the doors feel off it hit my niece in the head and left a huge knot on it. No one from the office called and my son was trapped under the door and it scraped his leg pretty bad. Maintenance showed up two days after this hall and no one from the office still hasn't checked in on the babies. It shows me no one really cares not in the office and not management either.

Upon move-in, the apartment was in horrible condition. I had to contact my local city government to help get it cleaned. Everything was dirty, the floors, the appliances. I've spent months contacting maintenance without response, I've contacted management without response, the only time anything has gotten done was once I got a hold of the corporate offices at Monument. The property is not maintained, there is often trash everywhere outside. The buildings are not well-maintained. There was a pipe in my wall that had been leaking for months or years because it was repaired with spray rather than being replaced. There are many other issues mostly stemming around maintenance and maintaining the property.

Well, up until June with the management changes, it has been very unprofessional and not a great experience. The staff is very rude and inconsiderate, this is not acceptable also calling the cooperate office, I haven't received no call back .

Well it's not the best the communication in the rental office is not the best at all. The property is so outdated. The tenants pay for everything every year that I have been here tenants has been paying for a fitness center and swimming pool the we don't have 24 hour access to. The maintenance men are not real maintenance men. The property is poorly maintained.

The property has gone down tremendously. It's super dirty. The trash is horrible. The outside units are raggedy. The lawn is disgusting. The parking lots are dangerous. No amenities for all the years I've been here. The rent increased tremendously every year with No updates or change. I'm embarrassed to live here. Literally. No return calls from Property Owners. Just horrible all around.

In the last two years, there has been a breakdown in support and care from the ownership. There's garbage and litter everywhere, dog droppings left for months at a time, and turned up portions of earth leftover from construction crews. The former seems like a refusal on the part of management to hire a porter, or unwilling to pay an adequate amount to retain one. While there are renovations being made to the center of the property, there is half a dozen places where prior repair work has disrupted the land, leaving behind holes and uneven surfaces. A recent experience reported from my neighbors includes management attempting to give eviction notices to unit occupants that had two days remaining to pay their bill, despite the lease's language allowing for payment as late as the 3rd. The current owners and management do not care for the state of the property nor it's current tenants.

I love the inside of my townhome however, I have had several issues with the way the grounds are kept. The whole front of my apt is mud (no grass, I've asked for landscapers to come out and got lots push back from property management. There is always garbage on the ground (we now have porters trying to help pick it up but the residents are so nasty the porters can't keep up with it), the overall look of the outside of the buildings looks like a housing project, many units are missing screen/storm doors. When I moved in I asked about the broken screen on my unit and was told they would be replacing everyone's with new ones in the spring, several springs came and instead of replacing them maintenance removes them when there is an issue with one and the remain main entrance doors are old ugly brown project style door. I complained about how bad it looks and how the lack of screen/storm door not only looks bad cosmetically but also makes the inside of our homes cold in the winter because they are old and air gets in around the cracks, I also complained about how we aren't able to open our doers in the spring for fresh air and was told use the patio door, I reminded them how the screen on the patio is also broken allowing bugs and everything else to enter when we open the class. I called monument corporate office (it's located in Florida) the corporate leader argued how she doesn't understand the need for a screen/storm door. (Not surprised because it doesn't snow in Florida), I ended up sending several emails with pics of the openings around the door and videos where we can hear wind coming end so corporate sent maintenance out to give me a new main door (but no screen/storm door). This took care of the cold, drafty issue but definitely didn't take care of the cosmetic issues. The last thing I will comment on is how every year they raise the rent up significantly, mine went up 8% with the new lease signing and this happens yearly. So it's not a good place to stay long term unless you can afford astronomical rent increases over the years. We stayed because we love the inside of our unit but don't anticipate staying many more years due to the issues above and the cost not being worth the value of the property.

I've lived here for about, I believe 4 years. I was immediately impressed with the property, the beautiful greenery of the landscaping and the lovely space of the apartment homes. Since I've been here, there were a few problems that we had with the electrical but you guys were all over getting that fixed and repaired . Our HVAC system went out and that was replaced as well and now we get great heat and cool air. Our only concern was, prior to the pandemic, there was a big windstorm that yanked away our screen storm door and we were told by prior management , that everyone will have their doors removed but that hasn't been the case. Without the storm door being there, it's colder on our main floor because there's more air getting in through the door and it is cosmetically an eyesore because of the two-tone paint. Other than those little issues, the management staff, Jazmine and Myla are very polite and professional. We have new maintenance staff that have come on board and this new guy, Chris has made quite the impression on myself as well as my husband with the repairs he has completed so far . Going forward, I would hope they would get back to maintaining. The beauty of the property is far as the the landscape in the grass being cut in shrimp and weeds being pulled properly. Overall I do enjoy living here and this is my first step before I get my own personal home so it's been a pleasure being a part of this community.

Townhomes of high crest have been a nightmare. Everything in the apartment has been put together cheaply. Everything is falling apart all the doors on the closets, the poles in the bathroom, the dishwasher never worked, and the bathroom sink was broken before I moved in and still is broken. The management sucks and the bugs are out of control it's always ants, spiders, and centipedes in my home. Then when you call management about a problem they do not come. The rent is wayyyy too high for these raggedy apartments. I do not have section 8 I have to pay market rent and I refuse to pay my hard-earned money to stay somewhere where I'm uncomfortable.

Great place to live in Woodridge, safe place for children, the school district is really good. People are friendly, stores are not that far from the location, you have centers in the Bolingbrook area, as well as Woodridge, and Darien, very nice places to shop at.

It needs works as far as management, amenities, and organization. Office Management: changes office managers twice and neither are really helpful when things go wrong. And answering service is even worse. Maintenance Management: they don't do regular check Making sure air vents are changed and when they do they are NEVER on time. I put in a work order for replacement blinds and air filter, the maintenance team thought i moved out and sent the clean up crew to my unit. Pipes burst twice over the last 3 winters, resulting in no water for over a day and a half sometimes. Water gets cut off randomly no warning. And no real amenities. I've lived here 3 years and pool has been closed for 2. But still get charged for amenities we are unable to use. Walls are paper thin. Pros: Conveniently located to stores and expressways. Fairly quiet.

My home is beautiful and comfortable. The maintenance team has been great resolving issues. Outside area is usually clean & neat. Not much noise or disturbance. Parking is sometimes a pain but not terrible.

Parking is horrible everyone parks everywhere no one is towed that aren't residents. Cars sitting for months not moved with flat tires, parking in front of fire lanes if there was an emergency we would be screwed. Tried purchasing an assisgned spot and never got a call back, but people don't follow and park wherever anyway.

This community is poorly ran, dirty and over the years the people have changed not good it needs to be cleaned the clubhouse is not done yet which has inconvenienced my family due to the blockage outside my front door. There is trash all throughout the complex dog feces everywhere people are ALWAYS speeding through the parking lot. Trash collection is not always done in a timely manner There's no viable place for the children to play

Has not been the best experience. There is never any parking and I only have one car. I keep being asked to be patient but I moved in in May, asked to rent a marked spot was then told after I signed contract that there would not be any amenities this year as they are redoing the club house. No pool, no parking, my porch light never goes off so it's always bright as can be and shines in my bedroom window. I had to buy my own pest repellent as the spiders were taking over my patio. When it rains my patio is like a waterfall due to gutters over flowing. The garbage is always all over the ground and over flowing. I called for maintenance on a leak outside my door and they said they fixed it, but no one ever came. For the price I pay for one bedroom and don't have washer/dryer in unit. The laundry in the hall has water that smells like rotten eggs.

Honestly the place has changed since old management has left they never call you back the new young lady says she will give msg to management never does or maybe she do but management doesn't call back prices are too high for what you get the new maintenance guy is really good but it's hard for him to do everything on his own The main reason I'm still a resident is the school district I love Sipley school small school every knows everyone and most teachers are very familiar with the students I haven't seen too much crime at all safe place for your family to live

Once the last 2 crews of mgmt office staff left, it has been real smooth. The only thing is that there are dogs here without a leash! Leashes needs to be enforced for all dogs! That is my only complaint. Oh, one other complaint is that I was promised I would have grass installed but that hasn't happened yet and it's been since 2019

For starters Monument real estate services is one of the best communities companies that I can vouch for but as far as to Management and the team it's self here on this property of High Crest Townhomes by Chris I've been experienced as not only a resident but also working under the management team I've experienced things that I would not wish for new coming residence to experience while living here on this property or even just coming to look at an apartment here at this property but in total I am dissatisfied.

As far as safety the community is fine. The up keep of the property has gotten better over the past few months. Office staff is questionable, maintenance is under staffed. The units may look nice cosmetically but they remolded on top of old problems. Water issues and so much more. I believe the price to live in this community is extremely high for the quality of living provided.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST OVERPRICED , MONEY HUNGRY, SELFISH, UNREALISTIC, UNSTABLE MONEY PIT PROPERTIES IVE EVER LIVED IN. FOR SUCH A LARGE COMMUNITY PROPERTY I HAVE EVER RENTED FROM. THE OFFICE STAFF HAS CHANGED THREE TIMES SINCE LIVING HERE AND EACH TIME ITS ONE INCONVENIENCE AFTER THE NEXT. PARKING IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. YOU HAVE TO PAY 20 BUCKS FOR BEING A TENANTWITH OVERALL PARKING IN THE LOT WITHOUT A GUARANTEED PARK. THEN 35 FOR A RESERVED PARK THAT MAY END UP MILES FROM YOUR APARTMENT. OTHER VEHICLES PARK IN YOUR RESERVE SPOT AND THIS MANAGEMENT TEAM HAS DONE NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT MY DAYS OF COMPLAINING. THIS PROPERTY PUTS YOU IN A SITUATION THAT CAN LEAD TO CONFLICT AND VIOLENCE DUE TO THEIR MESSED UP PARKING FIASCO AND THE LACK OF CONCERN. THEY CHARGE 250 EXTRA DOLLARS IN UNFAIR UTILITY CHARGES. HHEATBARELY RUNS. SAVE YOURSELVES PLENTY OF HASSLE AND HEADACHE BY JUST STROLLING RIGHT PASS THIS PROPERTY. CORPORATE LIMITS THE WAY THEY ACCEPT RENTAL PAYMENTS ONLINE. THIS LIST GOES ON AND ON. THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS THAT EACH APARTMENT SHOULD FAILRLY BE GRANTED AN ASSIGNED SPOT FOR THEIR CAR!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS
