Love the management and amenities. But I'm active still working. social life outside of here so I don't need all the activities. getting much older here now. Still love my apt though. Would rather pay less and not have all that. But it's good for people who would otherwise need a convalescent hospital. It's a nice option for that.

I am a former renter here at the Everleigh Cape Cod. The location is just outside downtown Hyannis. Many restaurants, shops and beaches close by, whether window shopping, exploring the museum with wonder tribute to the Kennedy's and catching spectacular sun sets!

I have visited newer communities in the area and they cannot compare with Everleigh Cape Cod. The apartment homes are lovely, spacious, and well maintained. The maintenance team is exemplar, as are the community property management team members. There are always exciting activities planned for the residents, and the staff is attentive to the needs of the residents. The maintenance team is quick and efficient in taking care of the service requests.

overall very good. Some management issues in the past, but much better now. Colleen was terrible and didn't care. Heather is much better. Some residents are mentally ill and should not be living here, many others have dogs they are too elderly to care for. The maintenance staff is top notch.

From all of my experiences at Everleigh Cape Cod, I can't be more pleased with the way the property is managed by Scott and Heather. It's because they carefully pay attention to the needs of the tenants and are extremely successful in their work here at Everleigh Cape Cod.

Generally a very nice community with great residents and helpful but under staffed. Biggest weaknesses are dealing with resident and common ground operational issues in a timely and complete manner. New management team has the right approach but needs a full-time leasing associate to free up some management time to deal with the operational issues.

Spread the word. It’s has become DANGEROUS to live here. I had so much hope, and was once so happy here.I almost died from several asthma attacks due to an AC air filter not being changed for 2 years, and a broken AC for 5 days. There is NO ON-CALL maintenance 24/7, that’s false advertising

In the two short years i have been here I have seen many staff come and go! Why? Pay or advancement or too tight a budget? Residents plan and implement many many activities and create a very Caring environment.

Overall very happy, but at present we’re in the midst of a complete change in management personnel. Some issues we’ve had that we expressed to the former management team we recently discovered were not handled as completely as we thought they were.

Wonderful, welcoming community. Beautiful, bright units. Quiet but with lots of amenities and activities. Our little dog has met lots of furry friends and enjoys walks with my husband both around the beautiful property and to the dog park.

It is a beautiful apartment complex with many benefits. However, management (not the maintenance staff) has not been able to resolve the fluctuation with hot and cold water. Not desirable when taking a shower or washing dishes. Management staff has not been helpful in resolving this problem. We are looking elsewhere.

When I moved here there were many promises that they would have. The sales person lied to many residents, this person is no longer here. I feel many residents are not independent and should not live here. There are times I feel like I live in a nursing home. I have met some wonderful people here, who I can call Friends. My apartment is lovely.

Everleigh is a wonderful resort that is well managed and maintained meticulously. I am very happy to come home every day. All the other residents are very sociable, friendly and helpful. There are many activities and outdoor relaxing areas. It is especially nice to have the pickle ball court.

Everleigh Cape Cod is a great place, professionalyl managed and maintained. We are please with this property and the quality of apartment. The on site amenities are also great with pool, pickleball, excercise and lounge areas. There always seems to be plenty of space & privacy for a larger community...

Love living here. One may be as busy as one residents are very friendly. There is a minor problem with some of the dogs. Dogs running loose down the hallway nearly docking residences down or going into areas where food is being served. The owners do not care. Some of us do care.

I enjoy living at Everleigh, but as far appliances, why wouldn't Everleigh provide the residents with A self cleaning oven,a broiler that is of no use because you have to lay flat on the floor, and since most of the residents are over 55 it is impossible

I make all comments below in the spirit of both improved communication and improved facility amenities and operations. The most recent work performed on our apartment was done by Alton. He is terrific and very service-oriented. Kudos to him. I also want to say that, with very few exceptions, the maintenance people generally try hard to keep up with all the work that needs to be done. However, they are simply overwhelmed. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that at least three full-time employees are needed to keep up with all the maintenance required at a facility this size, perhaps even four. As a result of them being overwhelmed, a number of the facilities and amenities have either been inoperable, broken, or simply not working properly. A few examples are below: The swimming pool. This is the most recent example. There have been three occasions in the past several weeks that the pool has been closed, as I have been told, due to chlorine or pH problems. I don't know whether this has been because of equipment or human error or both. Regardless, this should not have happened. If it hasn't been done already, a professional pool company should be retained and should monitor the pool quality and overall performance year round, or whenever is professionally appropriate. It's been my experience and observation that other public pools don't close or have problems as much as ours. It is unconscionable that ours had has to close three times in July during the height of the pool season, albeit for short periods of time. Attention needs to be paid to this immediately, and I have heard it already has. One other note, the first time the pool was closed, the residents had to take matters into their own hands to try to help resolve the problem. That should never have happened for a number of reasons. The public grills. The two grills in the "outdoor kitchen" were inoperable for approximately 6-8 weeks during late May, June, and the early part of July. They weren't working during the Memorial Day celebration and residents had to bring down their own air fryers and other appliances to cook hot dogs. Other residents took hot dogs to their apartments to boil them. As I understand it, the grills weren't working because an outdoor emergency shutoff control was in the "off" position, not allowing either gas or electricity to the grills. No one in maintenance was aware or knew that the shutoff control was the cause of the problem after multiple complaints. It took a resident to figure it out. As a result, Everleigh went approximately 6-8 weeks without either grill. Additionally, several of the control dials on the grills were broken and inoperable for several months before that. The outdoor television. That TV hasn't been working for a minimum of seven or eight months, probably longer. For a while before that, it had been working sporadically. What is taking so long for it to be fixed? If it's the television itself that is the problem, surely it could have been repaired or replaced in a reasonable period of time. It has not and is inoperable. If it's the cable feed, the same applies - it could be repaired. Approximately two months ago, the TV was removed and I was told by maintenance that it was going to be fixed or a new one was going to be purchased and installed. Instead, the same broken TV was soon put back into place, without a remote, and has been that way ever since. Certainly a new television could have been bought and/or cable service could have been performed in this over-six-month period. The firepit. Thankfully, the firepit has now been working for approximately the last month or two. Prior to that, it had not been operable since last fall (I believe). Again, the extended period of time it wasn't working is unacceptable. This is especially true over the winter and early spring when it would have been used and enjoyed the most. Other issues that I can think of over the past year include, but aren't limited to: - One of the treadmills in the gym wasn't working for 3-4 months last year. How long does it take to get a repair service to come? Surely, commercial gyms in the area do not wait this long for repairs. - The TVs on some of the gym equipment were either inoperable or didn't get the full complement of cable channels. Some still don't. - The coffee machine in the library room was broken for a long period of time (months). To their credit, I know the office staff has tried very hard to keep this working and finally got it replaced. Thank you for that. - Generally, the cleaning staff is overwhelmed for a facility of this size. The outdoor patio area is almost never cleaned, nor is the furniture. The indoor hallways continue to need vacuuming and cleaning. The elevator floors are often stained and, at times, have odors. By the way, the small, round, blue metal tables in the outdoor patio are rusting and need to be replaced. - There has been a crack in the 4th floor hallway wall for nearly all of the past six months that was repaired once and, a few weeks later, came back again. It is still cracked and the paint has come off as well. It's been an eyesore for a long period of time and it's due to a water leak above it. Surely, the leak could have been located and fixed by this time and the wall repaired as well, but it hasn't. I believe there are other issues that I haven't mentioned. I also want to say again that the maintenance team generally tries hard to keep up with many of these issues. I compliment them for that. But due to lack of staff, knowledge (on rare occasions), and perhaps funding, many things don't get done in a reasonable period of time or haven't been done at all. This needs to be remedied. Please take all I say all above in the spirit of constructive criticism and full cooperation. I believe the staff in the Everleigh office care about the facility as well as an enjoyable experience for the residents. Whatever I can reasonably do as a resident, I will be happy to participate with. Overall, I enjoy living here, despite the 8% increase in rent, which I, along with nearly all other residents who have been charged this amount, consider to be unreasonable. However, I understand that was out of local management's control but should be made clear to the corporate office anyway. I would be happy to discuss or consult on any of the issues described above with all collaboration and partnership. Again, please help in the spirit of both continued/improved action and communication.
