Im starting to hate it here! Still waiting for new top lock since move in. Still waiting for them to put a cover on the socket in closet in which my son hurt himself and they were made aware! Bathroom needs to be updated tubs peeling and looks nasty dishwasher needs to be replaced stove needs to be replaced! Been complaining since move in! But what gets me the most, we pay rent and we are prisoners in our home! They lock the laundry rooms and open them whenever they decide too even on th weekends so we can’t wash on our time just their time! Fyckthe fact some of us work late or can’t get to it let’s be real u have 2 washer and dryer in a building full of people but you lock the doors? I never ever in my life! Packages get stolen from people in the building and thy catch them on camera but I bet they still my neighbors! I am pissed beyond pissed! I have to wash clothes cause I worked late and can’t. Things have got to get better it’s no way yall treating yall paying tenants like that! We can’t even access the laundry card machine during the week cause we work! I can give kudos to actually 1 maintenance man around here! 1! I have been warned thy this would be a problem by ppl who have been here for 10 plus yrs! Too late cause I was already moved in! They got a nice problem as well! But the laundry room shi I am beyond appalled by ---- is sad an ridiculous an for that we should be able to was for free

This bs is outta hand
I've caught 5 mice THIS WEEK alone I've put in multiple request to have my unit treated and it's always the same lady that comes ( that's suspicious ) and puts down traps. I've told them where the mice are coming from. Behind the stove under the sink, and behind the dishwasher. I was told "Oh we can't pull the dishwasher out because of hoses and such" the holes that were patch up ( with steel wool ) haven't stopped anything. These apartments have a rodent infestation and it's ridiculous. I lived in Milbrook Park Apartments saw 2-3 mice my 7 years living there. I'm fed up with this place atp.

Great place to live
As a longtime resident, I am excited about what's going on at Metro Pointe. The property manager Mr. Keith has been so professional and helpful. The office staff is always willing to help when i need them weather it's walking me home or helping ne bring in my packages. They are also extremely knowledgeable, if one-person doesn't have the answer they will go get the answer for me. Maintenance especially Mr. Dorian always helps me when i need it. I can always stop by and talk to anyone in the office. Ellen M

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Where do I start? We've been in this apartment for about 2 months now & have experienced about 5 years worth of issues since the day we moved our things in. It all started with a few minor problems such as broken/fragile towel racks & toilet paper holders, tub draining the water from it at a very slow pace & the closet doors being off the hinges/tracks. The more the days went by, the more issues and experiences we've encountered. A new problem every single day, no exaggeration. Or alternating between problems we already have. There was a sudden leak in the main bathroom ceiling, followed by a foul odor, a deteriorating ceiling with holes and brownish stains left in the ceiling once the residue dried. I'm assuming it was waste of some sort, but the maintenance crew eventually came to "fix the issue" (only repatched the ceilings, never fixed the leaking pipes from the neighbors above us). Once that one of the +50 work orders we've submitted was "resolved", we began having rodent problems. Literally caught one mouse after another, totaling up to 4 so far. That's not counting the amount we've seen or that got away. Following up with the mouse infestation, there was a dead rat in the walkway for a few days, which leads me to assume that a rat infestation isnt too far fetched from the mouse problems we've experienced. The mice had plenty of entrances with the help of Metro Pointe's lovely (poor) infrastructure, featuring the various holes and unleveled floor/wall sections in nearly every room. Ontop of everything that I've mentioned above, there has been a sudden roach and other bug infestation. It's so out of hand, that the mouse traps intended to catch the mice here are residences for roach larvae and roaches. The neighbors turned the laundry room into a part-time dumpster, leaving full trash bags in the entrance of the laundromat. The maintenance crew fixes everything but what needs to be fixed. Having a fixed towel rack (that's broken again) is nice and all, but this apartment is hazardous to live in to say the least. From November to now, Metro Pointe has went from a home to a hellhole. It's almost as if there was a "problem activation" button the second we received our keys from the leasing office. Plenty of space in the apartment though. I would prefer for the space we live in to be occupied by those who pay bills here, not rodents or insects. Think twice before moving here.

There is always trash outside the dumpsters on the ground. It’s really sad that you have to come outside your home and see & smell trash all over the place and then you have days where the city don’t even come and pick up the trash from the dumpsters. I just would love for them to do a better job with cleaning the outside and around the dumpsters.

Don’t move here. Apartments are horrible, can hear other neighbors, MICEEEEEE, & they only staple the carpet so the carpet does lift. There’s always something wrong with the apartment and takes them forever to get it fix. They never answer the phone, and look at you crazy when you go into the leasing office to talk. The staff never knows the answer to anything; simple questions. They don’t communicate either because I have received different answers multiple times. Only thing nice is the pool

The condition of these apartments is disgusting. The maintenance NEVER comes, we have had work orders open since August 2020 (it is November). The staff are disrespectful and have called me "rude" and have raised their voices at me for calling multiple times to report issues that MUST be fixed. We have been living illegal conditions for a landlord to provide to tenants, please please do not move here, I am miserable and just waiting for my lease to end. I cannot even speak to the manager because the other staff know exactly why I am frustrated. I had 25 gallons of water fall through my kitchen cieling and maintenance did not arrive until my neighbors and I had called the emergency maintenance number OVER 25 TIMES. Now, there has been no work done. We had also been told our furnace would be repaired at the end of Septemeber, in which the residents were threatened with monetary fines if we were not present and available to let in maintenance and we have now been rescheduled on BY maintenance over 6 times and NOW it's November 2nd and the furance is broken ans its 48° in my apartment. Planning on escrowing. DO NOT MOVE HERE

I am a current resident of the Metro Pointe Apartment Homes. I live here only due to proximity to my workplace. If I had the choice, I would have never lived here. The apartment ceilings are extremely noisy because poor quality material has been used which is not noise-proof. Even when one walks on the floor of the upper apartment, it causes considerable noise. The tenants living up are very inconsiderate too. They do not care at all whether the resident living underneath them is able to sleep due to noise. Then, the management is very poor in taking care of your maintenance needs. The technicians are corrupt and they avoid doing work. They do not properly report a problem to the management. I have been experiencing leakage from my bathroom tub for a long time. I submitted maintenance work requests twice, but since the technicians find it very hard to replace the faucet and are corrupt, they report to the management that everything is good and nothing needs to be done. There is a lot of water wastage but management does not care. Thereafter, I submitted a request to repair an essential outlet in my kitchen 5 months ago. They canceled my request even without consulting me. I again submitted a request 3 months ago but still nothing has been done. The management tries to paint a rosy picture in the area around the leasing office, so that a person who comes to look for an apartment in their apartment complex should be very impressed. No one knows the bad condition of their apartments until they actually live therein. When I came here to see an apartment, my would-be apartment was still occupied by a tenant and I was not allowed to go inside. Instead, they showed me another apartment which was in a very good condition and told me that my apartment would be exactly like this one, But when they handed over my current apartment to me, only then I came to realize that it was all a fraud. Everything here was in a very bad condition. It was too late for me because I had already signed the lease and a truck loaded with my belongings was standing outside. I had no choice but to accept this bad apartment. So please be aware of their fraud!!!

Don't move here. You can do better. Rats and mice issue. My air conditioning unit has been broken since March. Was shown and told my unit was going to look a certain way and ended up having broken cabinets, water damaged closet doors that don't fully close, mice issues, no A/c(apartment is currently 90° as I type), rundown kitchen. The leasing office doesn't seem to expedite serious issues either. Note: all of my issues had been pending (some still are) before the Covid shut down. Then after, I was told tickets were done in order. If I've been waiting for mine to be completed fully, for months, imagine those who've placed something earlier than that

I appreciate the timely landscaping and the lockbox for packages (similar to Amazon lockboxes). Unfortunately, I moved here during COVID19 and didn't have or was offered a chance to view the unit beforehand. There is a rampant rodent problem throughout my building and a neighbor is having the same issues as I am. While walking my dog, I've seen many dead rats outside the perimeter of the buildings. I've brought this up in person, over the phone, emailed, and put in, not one, but two work order requests to have this resolved. I was told a fumigator would have to wait until the pandemic was over, but the openings in my kitchen could be plugged. This was told to me a few days after my move-in and I still am requesting this, but have gotten no response in the past month. Since then, I've put about 10 traps in my kitchen and nothing has worked. In general, the walls are paper thin and I can everything (their Alexa, their baby crying, the mom yelling at her other kids, etc.) that goes on in the apartment next door. After about 8pm, my bathroom reeks of smoke from my neighbor smoking in her bathroom. Unless I keep the door closed, the terrible smells reaches the rest of my apartment, which led to a lot of coughing. I'm lucky if only my bathroom smells like smoke. The layout differed from the original floorpan I chose online, but I had already signed the lease by that point. My suggestion: don't move here and, if you must, see the unit you'll be moving into before hand and ask if there's a rodent problem in that unit. There's a very high chance that there will be, but at least you can rectify the issue before you move in, hopefully. Although the units are cheaper than some Baltimore complexes, the money you save is not worth the stress of having rodents where you eat, having the neighbor's screaming baby wake you up at night, or every smell/smoke wafting into your bathroom.

Horrible! Do NOT..I repeat..DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I've only lived here less than one month and I see mice running around my clean and half empty apartment. Maintenance is horrible. Staff is passive, yet professional. She doesn't really care but shes gonna say everything shes supposed to. There is no parking if you get home after 9. It took them three weeks to fix my mailbox. Instead of fixing the lock, they opened the mailbox and left it Wide Open for anyone to take my ----. There is a utility closet in my 2nd bedroom that has an OPEN window with No screen. My neighbors are rude asf. I.Hate. It . Here. Already. So disappointed in myself for choosing this place. Please take this advice

The best part about living here is the staff at Metro Pointe. Lauren, Brittany, Tonya, Shakera, and Dorian are so helpful and friendly. Eddie, Mike, and Kevin provide excellent service and they have been at the property for awhile, always looking to help with a smile. I have been here for over 50 years and have truly enjoyed all the new changes. I have had reservations about the change, but Metro Pointe is a lot better because of the current staff

I don't live here but I have family and friends on this property. When it was u set Blue Ocean management I would have said move here but the new management is trash. Since the new management there has been an increase of people selling drugs against the fence near the front of the property (the drug dealers do NOT live here), which means increased junkie traffic who sit out and yell and play music and hang out around people's cars at all hours. When residents ask these non-residents to please not hang out in front of their buildings (sometimes in their building hallways) the people cuss out residents and threaten them (elderly people and families). The management does nothing. There has been a decrease of security on the property. Instead they post notices on residents doors stating there is reported drug activity out of their building and threaten law-abiding citizens. Maintenance is unresponsive. A/C units were broken most of the summer which caused many elderly and sick people to get either more sick or to sit almost passed out in their homes. My friend had had a leaking kitchen faucet and a sitting puddle under their sink for months which stinks and probably is growing mold. The people in the front office are rude as hell and give lip service. You have to blow up the phones at corporate to get anything done and even then it's just an answering service because apparently AION management, based out of Philly I believe is only concerned with rent collection and not quality of life. They also have recently instituted an ILLEGAL policy where the only option to pay rent is online and refuse money order payments. It's obscene and discriminatory. Many people cannot get bank accounts or debit cards in order to pay rent or don't have internet access to go online and pay. Pests. While i have not seen any roaches these apartments are full of mice. My friend went on vacation for TWO days and came back to a closet floor full of mice droppings. No matter how clean a person is they wake up to mice droppings on their stove and counters. The maintenance does not have decent pest control or even provide mouse traps to residents. Also at night tons of rats run freely thru the parking lot and live in the large bushes beside the building front doors in every unit. It's absolutely disgusting. I would NOT suggest living here. Rude, unresponsive, ineffective management only concerned with as much rent collection as possible and not about improving the quality of life but yet raising rent prices. No thanks.

Not a good choice. God forbid you have an issue. Getting help is like pulling teeth. Suspicious people walk around checking cars all day, mine was broken into twice along with 3 other people in my complex. If you work during the day you will probably never be able to do laundry here. Laundry rooms close between 8-9(which is usually around 755) and are suppose to open between 8-9 ( which is always 10 ). The pool is being worked on most of the summer... every summer for the past 3 years. Go somewhere where they care. Don't waste your time.

I have been a Resident at this property for 2 going on 3 years. I can honestly say It is a well accomdated area to live in. There is a Shopping center less than five minutes away. The Grounds keeper does a great job. Public areas are commonly Clean and Comfortable (Pool,Playground And Bench Areas.) The Staff is exceptional (and it's also a plus that they are very good looking). They maintain professionalism and handle any problems or concerns in a Timely fashion. Its also a Conveniently located to a Metro Subway station.

I have been living here since 2010 and i love everything about this property. The maintenance may not be up to paw all the time but they do get their work timely and orderly fashion. This property is close to public transportation which is convenient for no drivers like myself. There are stores close by that have a our everyday needs. Those stores are in walking distance. MY neighbors are very friendly. Overall this property has been the best out of the 3 other properties i lived on.
