DON'T MOVE HERE. The mgmt informed me that I would not have a rent increase for my first renewal and they lied then try to say that I must have misunderstood. They will do anything to get you in. If you sign a lease with Tereene make certain you get it in writing. They increase your rent every month. I wished I would have not move in. I will now have to find another place to stay.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am a resident of reisterstown square apartments the only reason I'm still here is because owning mills doesn't have openings yet but I will be braking my lease when they call!!!!!!. This place is nasty, horrible, & lazy!!! First the "security guards" only come around twice to unlock & lock the laundry room they do not drive around during the day @ ALL i guarantee you that you won't see not 1 security walking or drive around. They don't ride around @ not they don't protect ----! If they did you wouldn't have people stealing AC units from the front of your apartment. People sleeping in your laundry room, people sleeping in the hall ways it truly feels like the projects!!! You have -------- leave beer & liquor bottles all on the grass. They stand around & groups tryna get work but in the mean time there getting drunk throwing bottles & pissing all around the place. NO DISRESPECT My wife is Latino. It's 22 apartments that has to share 2 washers & dryers so you know it has made some neighbors enemies. My laundry room only has 1 working dryer I have pictures of the storage/laundry room it feels like jail!!! It was raining today but it's still a brown stain in the middle of the parking lot looks sickening I can go on & on but I have some photos that will tell the story 4 me i took a picture of the place you go to add money on your laundry card I promise you it's worse in person!!!!! Don't lower your self to move here it's not worth it...-KING

i moved in dec 28th 2014 i have had a long list of issues that needed to be fixed, maintenance is very lazy, slow and doesn't have a clue onto how to properly fix things, they didn't resolve my issues almost a month later. then when the snow started the first week of February my bathroom ceiling has been constantly leaking am, theirs been times i come home to a puddle of water in my bathroom up to my ankles freezing cold water, i call the emergency maintenance line, i fill out the request online and contact the leasing office directly to inform them of this issue, same response i am sorry i am sending maintenance out, the guy doesn't come until 8 hours later or the next day when the leaking has stopped. for this to be my first place i hate it this gives me a headache. Make sure you have renters insurance and know your tenant laws in the state of md, because i will be with holding rent and i am taking them to court, its been a whole month now and the problem still continues. document everything take names too

review 01/14/2015 this is my first apartment and it was shock therapy. dog feces is everywhere, the children and the animals ie foxes, racoons, tens of stray cats, thousands of mice, and poor living conditions. the laundry room is not maintained,. dirt lines the rim of the washing machines you are expected to clean off before your use. mice beds under the sink. windows are door are drafty and are NOT weather stripped. my apartment floods on a regular basis at least every three months from the laundry room. i have have to have the health department intervene on my behalf on them twice, have had to take them to rent court once but it should have been at least 12-13 times. i would have moved if i had the resources believe me. i moved in in july 2010 and less than 30 days later we had a storm and that's when the games began. the multiple leakage site grew all kinds of mold; 90 days out i had to call the health dept to cite them in order for them to do the repairs. i challenge anyone fro corporate office to prove me wrong and you'd better be correct because anyone familiar with reisterstown square is aware of what i am saying and i have the proof. so if you come for me come big or stay away because i not finished with yall yet. eventually you will have to treat these residents with some respect. my next posting will be a video slide show of our living conditions. now keep playing lax.

Where should I start...hmmm, I have a long list of things to say about this apts but I'll be brief. Dont waste your money !!!! I moved here last year in June and its been hell since. I've been sitting in my living room before and watched mice come through the front door. They might as well pay rent since they come and go as they please. I ask them to put something under the door and it took them weeks. Not to mention there is a hole in the wall that they still haven't fixed. The office staff are some what helpful but maintenance not so much. They barely come when there's a problem. I have to call and get on their nerves in order for them to come. The walls are super thin. You can hear everything going on in everyone's apt. It sucks! My neighbor down from me always think I'm stomping on her head when I'm simply just walking and I hear the same over my head so I know shes not totally insane. Its always too dark out with strange people walking around since half of the apts are rented to men in half way homes and the other half are group home children who sell drugs throughout the court yards. Oh but it gets better. We've been without water for 5 days now and every time I call they say, "we're working on it" when no one is actually working on it. I just finish taking my sink bath about 5 mins ago. Boiled 4 pots of water just to get clean. Ohhhh how can I forget that everything falls apart. My kitchen cabinets are broken, the plumbing is horrible...when one bathroom is working the other one isnt. I moved here because the landscape is nice and its so close to everything. I thought that I was for sure getting a nice apt but its a ---- hole. Please dont waste your money or time ! You wont have hot water beware!

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! I wouldn't recommend this place to my WORST enemy! Maintenance is HORRIBLE! I moved in March 31,2014 and I still have a long list of things that they were supposed to do, but have not. Even when I've called the rental office, there excuse is ALWAYS they've been backed up and they "forget." I guess I'll start with the WORST part so just in case you're looking for a quick read... THIS PLACE IS A MOUSE PLAYHOUSE! No matter how clean I leave my kitchen the night before, it is ALWAYS saturated with mice feces the next day. To me, this confirms my worst fear, there are MULTIPLE mice living with me. This is my first apartment on my own, and I have NEVER lived under these conditions. There is a gaping whole behind my stove that i recently discovered. This whole is a major safety hazard! There is exposed piping and even exposed installation. But of course, the floor and installation material is covered in feces. I contacted the landlord numerous times and each time I've spoke to someone different and received different answers. (Even though I always aim to speak to the same person) I usually receive the same answer "We'll put your ticket and work order in and someone will be with you as soon as possible." Then they finally "send out an exterminator" and either one of two things happened. Either he didn't come (I wasn't home) or he was in my apartment while I wasn't there and didn't leave a notice slip saying he had been in my home. On top of that, my counter tops have been dry-rotted since I moved in. You guessed it, THEY HAVE STILL NOT BEEN REPLACED AND TODAY IS JULY 15. They are always shedding onto my floor. I can't take a bath because the tenant always complains that my tub leaks heavily to her floor. My ceiling leaks (I live on the 3rd floor) and I have brown water marks on the ceiling. They told me they were going to come "paint" over them instead of fixing the issue before painting. This is just a few of my issues. PLEASE just do me a favor, don't move here. I plan to move as soon as i CAN get out of this lease.

Stay away from this place. Everything looks OK until you move in. Rats are everywhere. The apartment starts to fall apart after a few days...knobs loose, doors not closing. maintenance doesn't respond, you have to call several times before someone comes to fix anything. The sound transmission is horrible. I wake up once my upstairs neighbor wakes up. We had to walk on near tiptoes in the apartment to avoid getting a knock on the door from neighbors for disturbance. Men idle around, watching your every move. This place is a huge mess. STAY AWAY!

            Not Bad

Me and My boyfriend moved in to these apartments August 2011,This is our first apartment. When we first moved in there were a few issues that had to be resolved, nothing serious. One thing I will say is that you do have to stay on top of them with your maintenance needs. I had a run in with one mouse, the rental office had an exterminator come out, havent had any issues since *knock on wood*. Had a couple pesty bugs when we first moved in but I took care of them myself havent seen any since we moved in.They just got some security to walk around outside at night, wich adds a little more comfort to me because I get home late from work. The area is well lit at night. My building and the area around ours is quiet. Everyone is nice and always cordial. Its time to renew our lease and we will be.

              Need to screen tenants better

I really love the convenience, Metro, Mall all in walking distance. I was blessed to get the apartment I applied for, which was God sent. Good neighbors on my floor, working people. But I'm living under the ----- himself. I'm on the second floor and the neighbor on the third floor is rude, inconsiderate, noisy, children constantly keeping up noise, in and out husbands/boyfriends, etc. I've complaint to management with written notices and verbal and the problems has exsisted two complete years. Totally miserable, but I will not be defeated. I'm going to find out what legal steps I can take considering this neighbor. If you have any suggestions, please, I'm willing to listen. Thank you

I lived there years ago and from what I can tell by reading these reviews it hasn't changed. It was nice at first and then once the office personnel changed it started going down hill! They have changed management companies but I see the management attitudes haven't changed a bit! If they get a good property manager it doesn't last long! I lived in 6616 building and my neighbors were very nice and looked out for each other but slowly we moved out one by one because of the management!

                  This place sucks

I have lived there for 3 years and the staff is scandalous, the property manager does cover up acts and the accounts payable staff steels...my rent payments were never put on the account books because of it. I was wrongly evicted and the property managements kept all my belongings even my child's... I would never recommend for anyone to move here this place has forever put a mistrust in a suppose to be legitimate complex... I have never had an experience like this before in my life... the maintenance staff is horrible....

                    Love mice?

This place has one thing going for it the location. The mice however love the location also. Throughout the year we were there we killed 20 mice and ended up with their feces and urine all over the apartment. Every morming there was poop on the stove, one of the closets had them crawling up our clothes and going the bathroom on shelves 5 feet in the air, and a full nest was found under our kitchen cabinet. The office would send out an exterminator that placed traps but was always unavailable and never came back to make sure the problem was gone. The last three months we were there we had no heat, we called the office 4 times and sent thrrough online requests to the main office in New Jersey 3 times but no one came. At one point the office hung up the phone on us then wouldn't pick up when we called back. This place is a hot mess, avoid it like the plague unless you want the plague from all the mice.

I wished that the state or city would come out again and really talk to all of the tenant at this place. To start some of the management staff do not know how to talk to there tenant. I this that Beacon need to hire a whole new staff of people. Starting with Mike. Poor excuse for a maintenace man. No cameras at all throughout the complex. People cars has been broken in to. Laundry room stay dirty. No cameras are there either. Some building do not lock there laundry door at 9 pm like they are suppose to. Storages are being broken into (Presently) don't get it twisted. Mices has taken over throughout all the units. They patch them up on monday and on tuesday the mice eats right through it. Constantly no hot water or no water. Low pressure. When they renew your lease they lie. No state discounts and jack your rent up $100 more. Robbery!!! Hallways are nasty and dirty. Some of the worker looks in the door and see it they see trash on the floor but do not look down in the stair wells on the steps for all kinds of things even syringes. That right Drug Needles. I work for the health department and I am reporting these matter ASAP. Also my client Senior Citizens who live there windows are doors are not weatherize. This winter will be very cold and costly because of this. I talk to several people at 6617 Eberle and 6600 about the Window and Doors and they stated the same thing. People should not have to give their heat away. What you gonna do about this Trisha. You can have all the tenent meetings you want but until you take action the people at Reistertown square should not have to go through this. Washing cars in the parking lot. I thought I saw memo stating this was not allow. It has become a washing lot not a parking lot on the weekend. Management take a trip around the lots after 1pm on Saturdays - Sunday. I telling you it a shames. Beer cans and cigarette buds all over the lawns. The mexican have a spot right at the fence during lunch time. Don't know how you can miss it. and then leave there mess right there. And the one who live on 2nd and 3rd floors throw them down on the lawn in front of the 1 st floor tenants patio. IT'S CRAZY. When I moved a couple a months ago it was the best thing I done. I hope that people really take a look at the property, the staff and maintenance at this apartment. I hope the state or city steps in and have the Pitbulls and Rotweller removed. Because when i saw them I knew it was time for me to leave.

Someone on my job told me about these apartments I don't know where she's use to living). I went out to see them and they were a mess. The first thing that turned me off was when I came into the complex there were torn blinds at so many windows. I also had to pass men just out hanging around the complex. Someone living there even had a pitbull(a pitbull in an apartment?). I was getting ready to turn around and leave and not even see the apartments because of my first impressions but I decided to just take a look at them since I was already there. Well I should have just turned around and got the hell out of there. When I was shown an apartment it looked terrible. Those apartments needs to be updated. Even with the lights on the apartment was dark and glommie. My first thought when the leasing agent open the door was HELL NO. I was told by the leasing agent after seeing the apartment that they were renting out fast.....Well you can keep that mess

                                      Don't Do It

It is so obvious that management, and that tupi ----- Suzanne the leasing agent is coming here writing good reviews about these slum apartments. Please, unless you are use to living in trashy conditions, do not move here. The price of rent is very nice when you first sign your lease and move-in the first year, then when it's time to renew, they take your rent up to a rediculous rate. They come into your apartment whenever they want, take things, eat your food. I was even home one evening when I should have been working and one of them used their key to come in, mind you I have told them several times NO ONE is to enter our unit when no one is there. They don't fix anything. Please, unless you prefer the ------, don't move here.

If you move after reading this review, it's your fault

I live here years ago. If you are 1) not from Baltimore 2) a college student 3) a professional or otherwise educated or 4) just have common sense, REGARDLESS of your color you will not move here. Top 10 Reasons to not move here: 10) Young hoodlums and hoopties hanging around the buildings, zooming through the parking lot (oh this is males and females, who says being a thug is a guy thing hasn't ventured to Baltimore) and drug dealers. Mentally -------- people following you to the laundry room or standing at the door of the building--yes in the way. 9) You will see the following at least once a week, a paddywagon, police lying in wait to arrest someone or a fire truck. The rental office was set on fire and is surrounded by apartments. I woke up early morning to commute to work with fire trucks and police blocking the way... 8) Imagine a typical day you just want to do your laundry. Lo and behold you get to the door and there is a notice saying all laundry room keys have been locked. They did not tell anyone before hand, like a week before, they just did it and get this you had to pick up the key on their office hours M-Fri, as if no one works... 7) Strange bugs: millipedes, centipedes or whatever, you become a scientist trying to rid these things, ironically I never had a roach problem. This place is so oddly unsafe that weird bugs venture here. 6) ------ people live here who have it harder than you will destroy what you own. Yes random Negroes key people's vehicles. 5) Neighbors steal your mail, no this isn't paranoia, they're so ------ gangsta they tell you to your face that they receive your mail and never say what they've done with it. 4) ------ cult members in the form of women with disturbing hair weaves who are Jehovah Witnesses harrass you up and down. You can't have one peacefu evening unless you are up at 12:00 midnight. 3) ------ neighbors at adjacent buildings up until 11:00 at night blasting jungle music with deep base disturbing the peace, all the while inviting their non-resident compadres. 2) Mice, mice and more mice. There hasn't been one year since mice haven't infiltrated, eaten through plaster, left waste on the stove, kitchen counter tops and even climbed in the pantry..just to leave more fecal matter. 1) Bathrooms with faucets and knobs that don't work, it'll work one day and not another, in other words you can chance to take a shower and know you will call maintenance the next day. They will tear your apt. apart, take their time and all the while your left without necessities while complaining to the non-responsive city government. This place is great if you're ------ and have no standards. In other words, RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, THEIR LANDSCAPING IS A DECEPTION OF THE EYE, Stayed this long to live below means, they keep raising the rent---it's not worth it.

                                          very unsafe place!

The only reason I moved to this place was because it was close to shopping and metro. Soon realized it has its downsides. There are always shady characters hanging around asking for day passes. Many times I found liquor and beer bottles on the grass in the parking lot. Maintanance is also an issue - you have to call 3-4 times to get someone to come over. This place gets really unsafe after dark. A man was shot dead in the parking lot in November. I moved out right after that.

Getting much better here than other experiences

I was here for 7 years before i had to move out of Baltimore due to me being in the military. and i have to say this place was great ! needless to say i had my maintanence issues here from time to time with my bathroom ,but they always came out in a timely manner. they always repaired or replaced anything that i needed with no fuss. the area isnt that bad i dont get why people talk so much trash were on the baltimore county line and we are near the light rail. so you do get alot of people walking from time to time. but the apartments are big and have Big closets they recently started to use cards for the laundry machines which at first was a hassle but its alot easier than using quarters. so all in all the parking was ok never really had a problem unless it was really really late on the weekend.crime aint nuthing to worry about, maintence is ok with me. apartments arent bad as long as TENANTS KEEP THEM CLEAN LIKE THERE SUPPOSED TOO SO I WOULD RATE REISTERSTOWN SQUARE AN 8 OUT OF 10 WITH MAYBE DOING SOME MORE RENOVATIONS MAKING IT MORE DESIREABLE AND MAYBE IF IT WERE A GATED COMMUINTY WOULD BE NICE TOO.
