The neighborhood is very welcoming, and it's nice and peaceful! :) It is also easy to navigate around the area. There are a lot of places nearby within walking distance, so that's really cool. I'm definitely considering moving here.

---------- and ------ both helped me to move in to my apartment quickly and smoothly. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in helping me settle in. The building and area are quiet, especially compared to other complexes in the area, which is great for working from home. I'm also happy about the multiple security measures and feel the community is safe. Maintenance has always been helpful in the past and quick to attend to issues. The community is close to many useful places and near bus stops to Chapel Hill and Durham. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience living here and would recommend to others looking to live in Chapel Hill or Durham.

I have made several visits to Chapel Hill prior to making my final decision to settle here and I had plenty of questions. Lol! However I must say that for every visit and each question both -------------- Smarts and ------------------ were always helpful, courteous, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the facility which impressed me greatly. I loved their warmth, friendly ness and their attention to detail , yeah I'll like to say this is truly a win win situation.

I have loved living at CHN! Great location, the office staff is always friendly and helpful, and beautiful apartments for a reasonable price. CHN cares about their residents and it shows. I'll be renewing my lease as long as I plan to live in an apartment in CH!

I've lived here for 6 months now and I really like it. It is a good neighbourhood. It's a beautiful building and I think it was built recently. The interiors are beautiful. It is 15 minutes away from the UNC campus and approximately 15-20 minutes away from Durham. Till now I've not really had any complaints. It's a mixed crowd here, some families, some are students/nurses/doctors and not a lot of undergrad students (so no noisy late night parties) which is what I was looking for. There's a Harris teeter not too far from here, 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There's a food Lion 10-15 minutes walk from here. I guess the only thing that I don't like is that I have to take the trash outside the building, there are no chutes unfortunately, which is fine during summers but may be a challenge during winters. The building I stay in has a lift (makes life a lot easier when moving in or moving out).

I am so happy with Chapel Hill North! The community is quiet even though it is located right near a shopping center (which is so convenient!), and off of a major roads and highways. Staff is friendly, the apartments are well-built, and I feel so very safe. Highly recommend for graduate students, young professionals, and families!

I lived at this apartment complex for about three years. Most of that time was alright - however the last 3 months were terrible and because of those months I can't recommend this place to anyone (especially not women). I'm going to get into why I can't recommend this place but first, a warning, if you've been a victim of sexual harassment this might be triggering.... (tl:dr: head of maintenance hit on me in a really creepy way and the apartment management and HR person didn't care). What happened was that the head of maintenance hit on me twice while in my apartment as he fixed a couple of lightbulbs. Before he got started on the work, I had said how much I appreciated the help that the apartment had given me after my cat passed away in February. He then asked for a hug... which was weird and I really didn't want to, but I did anyway, because I didn't know how he'd react if I said no. Then, as he was fixing my closet light, he asked if I had a boyfriend (way to assume my orientation), and when I said no, and that I wasn't having much luck on dating sites, he said, and I quote, "I wouldn't mind playing with you". I felt very scared but thought he was joking at first. After he had finished changing lightbulbs, he mentioned that he shouldn't be saying this, but that he "really wouldn't mind playing with me". Gross. I did tell the leasing agent, who was there that day, after it happened and she was horrified. But when the manager at the time talked to me the next day, one of the first things she said was that the guy could lose his job and did I know how serious my accusation was... I eventually talked to HR, but I don't think the woman believed me... she told me not to talk to the leasing agents about what happened and that they'd known the guy for years - basically trying to make it seem like I was a liar. They said they'd get someone else to do any maintenance work on my unit, but wouldn't stop him from coming to resident events, nor would they fire him. I did make a police report, and even then the apartment management and HR didn't seem to take it seriously enough (they said they were, but if they really had been taking it seriously, they would have fired the guy). Also, on the Friday after the head of maintenance hit on me, the elevator broke down and wasn't fixed until the following Wednesday (I have a rollator/walker, was on the third floor, and stairs are very hard for me). I know that pissed off a lot of the residents. The apartment did allow me to end my lease early without penalty, but I got the impression they'd rather get me to leave than do something about the creepy maintenance guy. So yeah, avoid this place.

I have lived in Chapel Hill north for several years. It is not only the best apartment complex I have lived in- it is also the most conveniently located to everything of interest nearby - the UNC campus, the interstate, and even grocery store / gas station / restaurants and other shops you can literally walk to in 30 seconds. The features I appreciated most include- cleanliness (very clean and new apartment), quiet and respectful neighbors, safe area, and very friendly and responsive staff. I have not had any significant problems since living there, and minor things that happened (refrigerator problem) were addressed professionally and quickly. I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking in the price range. -

My family and I have lived in Chapel Hill North for nearly a year. The town homes are spacious and tastefully designed. The beautifully wooded property is well-maintained with a wonderful pool area, private dog park, health club and club house that is perfectly suited for entertaining. The leasing and maintenance staff are very responsive and the property is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores and just minutes from UNC. I would highly recommend Chapel Hill North living. --------

Great location, 10 foot ceilings with great views. Quiet in terms of neighbor noise for an apartment; street noise sometimes disturbing with trucks unloading behind Harris Teeter. Also can hear interstate but it is a slow hum. Maintenance staff super helpful - prompt and responsive. Staff friendly, helpful. Unit could have been cleaner upon move-in, carpet ready for replacement; otherwise, no complaints.

We are glad we made the choice to live in Chapel Hill North and -----, -----, ---- and --- are a big part of that.

CHN is truly my home far away from home (as a international graduate student). Among the newest luxury apartments and town-homes. I am actually still living here, but had to move to a smaller space. I attached some photos of my old place before I moved out (2 bed; 2.5 bath; garage town home). Staff and maintenance are professional, friendly diligent and efficient in general or if any issues come up. Never really had anything 'majors' over the years. I think the only 'major' thing that once happened after a summer vacation. When I first arrived - & luckily it was in the AM and the a/c would not work. At the time, there were no maintenance helpers for that day and they called in immediately one of he helpers from the sisters property within the hour the a/c was up and running. If you know the triangle's weather - a place without a/c over the summer is simply unbearable. Other than that- the complex is very quite, family and pet-friendly. Prices can be considered high compared to other places, but with the standards I think it is well worth it. Easy bus access to UNC (NS + T) and around the area with those buses and the other types of buses that you can pay for. Walking distance to small shops, coffee, postoffice, UPS and convenience (Harris Teeter from one side and Food Lion from the other side). Anyways, I am grateful that I have found the place that suits my lifestyle and living. A couple of my favorites in the property are the coffee machine, the pool table and the seatings with the grill outdoors! All the best, S

Chapel Hill North is the perfect apartment to live in as alone or as a family. It's right next to Harris Teeter, and Food lion is only one block away. It's about 15 minutes by drive or 20 minutes by bus to University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The unit was super clean when I moved in, and bamboo floor is modern and beautiful. Bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath room, and walk-in closet are all well-designed and kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, oven, and microwave all look brand-new. Officers are very professional, and they are the most friendly officers I've ever met. It is easy to get a response from them if you have any question, and they respond in a timely manner (oftentimes within 24 hours). I have lived here since 2014, and I still love it!

I highly recommend -----. She was extremely helpful as I planned to relocate in Chapel Hill. Since I was not able to see the apartment in person, ----- took several trips to take photos of the apartments I was interested in. She was very patient and respond to my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Her information was very helpful indeed. She really listens and cares and tried her best to provide the most accurate and detailed information to help me make the decision. She is very warm yet not pushing at all. She is the best staff I have ever seen. The application process is very professional and smooth, from which I can tell this property is very well managed and maintained.

My apartment is upscale in every conceivable way. The floors are a rich dark real bamboo, counter tops are granite, bathroom sinks are pedestal style, the shower is glass enclosed and is tiled in slate, as is the bathroom floor. The plumbing fixtures are higher end and my stacked washer dryer (included) are full size and more high tech than what I had in my house. The washer even sends data to the dryer when the load is done like a robot! I never hear my neighbors through the walls, only occasionally as they are passing down the hall and past my door. It's very quiet. I overlook the landscaped common area with the pool so my view is fantastic too. The office and maintenance staff are all very capable, friendly, and really care about resident satisfaction. I've had bulbs replaced the same day and my initial check list upon move-in was short but done completely within 24 hours. I now have a reserved parking spot in the underground garage but even before this I was always able to find a spot free underground. Even if I hadn't there is ample parking out front. A feature I appreciate is the security of the building, with a resident-with-key only policy in the main building after 6 pm. I highly recommend Chapel Hill North.
