The staff is friendly. The grounds could use some beautification. A place for young kids to play. And the trash areas could be kept up better. Also, the tree limbs could be trimmed. Parking spaces should be clearly defined for guest and visitors.

I have been living without heat for months and nothing has been done about it. I have a serious health condition and living in a cold apartment is very unhealthy for me and my treatments. I have asked for this to be repaired on more than one occasion and nothing has been done

Well they towed my car twice and a friend's car! Nobody ever got back to me about it. One time the towed my car and put a letter on my door saying I better not be late with my rent. The communication is poor until it is time to pay rent.

I have cried every day I've lived here . It's going on 3 months and it's completely disgusting here . Nothing of priority gets fixed . There is a bug/spider infestation . Cracks and holes everywhere in the place . Staff is unbothered . Unbelievable the price of rent for these living conditions . All I can do is pray I can move out as soon as possible

Not what I expected as far as what the apartment would look like, online the units had up to date features. I never had a opportunity to have a walk thru to check out the unit, because according to Lexi that was not allowed, so because I had already invested money on the online application and adm fee, I accepted this unit I'm now in and never seem the inside of it until the day I was given the key. It was not at all what I expected. And also when it comes to how I'm being charged each month for water usage without even knowing if a water meter is even showing that I used said amount. From my understanding only one water meter is in each building, and every unit splits the bill whether we use said amount or not. Maybe would be a good ideal if the renters could face to face set down with New Irving Heights Mgmt and view our concerns instead of thru these emails.

Unorganized, nasty , management adds on fees that just make no sense high sewer bills , takes forever for maintenance to fix things do not move here it's a financial trap rent says 825 but they still manage to charge you over 1000$ every month valet trash doesn't exist but yet it's still a charge every month & I don't even use it so why am I paying for this service ?! Management does no care for residents at all this place should be closed down for good !!!!! I will not be renewing any lease here !

My experience with New Irving Heights has not been good all. First they told me I could get assistance with the deposit (which was same as rent) through a third party vender. That was true except that the vender wanted to charge me $800 non-refundable in order to do so. Seeing how the deposit was $1080 and I would still owe for damages, unpaid rent, etc at the end of the lease, this did not seem like a very good deal, in fact, this should be illegal. Second, they charge me a bunch of small fees.(Ie; water, pest spray, valet garbage pickup, rental insurance) that made my rent approximately $140 more every month then what I initially had been told. And when I told them I didn't want the valet trash they told me I had no choice and in the 6 months I've been there, they picked up my trash twice and sprayed for bugs once! Lastly, the final month I was there, the tow company they contract with towed my vehicle 3 times to the tune of $300 a pop to a whopping $900 in one month! So here's the deal, first of all, I don't own a car so I never got a parking sticker. Second, every now and then my boss lets me take home the company van, which I park in the visitor parking. The first tow I was in a space not designated as visiter but on the same side of the lot as the other visitors plus the paint was so faded one couldn't tell which was a visiter spot from the other at night. They repainted them two days later. Second time, the same thing but I was parked in a no parking zone and again the paint designating it as no parking was and still is so faded you can't see it a night and barely during the day and both times I was on the side of the parking lot with the visitor parking. And the third time was my girlfriend car,, again parked on the same side of the lot as the visitors but so faded one could not tell which was which at night. These : technicalities " that they towed me on are b#@@ crap. This is predatory Towing at its finest and if New Irving Heights thinks I can pay $1080 a month for rent after being charged $900 for parking violations then they are sadly mistaken. So now I'm getting evicted which not only am I losing my place to live and my deposit along with it, but this will keep me from renting another place for several years! So, no, I did not have a good experience with New Irving Heights. And yes I did plead my case and was steadfastly denied any recompse. Thanks Lexi!

Terrible, they don't come fix stuff. I went 6/7 months without air conditioning.. it's been almost 2 years and they still haven't fixed the door no.screens the water turns brown and has no pressure. There's big cockroaches everywhere outside and in no screens for the windows. We pay an unessary trash fee. I Will be moving when my lease is up. Management dont care about nothing but the rent .. Thanks for the experience though

This experience has been the most awful. Maintenance doesn't come when you need. It could take weeks and months. They don't complete work orders or they don't complete everything on them. I'm paying for a trash valet and I don't need it. So I'm forced to pay it anyway. I was told when I renew my lease they would take it off and never did. I am also paying for pest control and there has been so many bugs in and out of my apartment since I have lived here. And it's getting worst with the roaches. The office staff and the corporate office are very unprofessional. They expect you not to have an attitude with them and the gang up on you in arguments and yell out all of your business across the office. I went without air for 3 1/2 weeks and then almost another 2 weeks. Our whole building was without hot water for 2 1/2 weeks. My neighbor moved out bc her hot water was out for over a week. I wasn't pardoned on a proration of my rent. Only for when the water was cold for 2 1/2 weeks. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They have no empathy for us here. They reel you in and forget about you. Also. I have been here going in 2 years and the pool and the gym have been out of commission the whole time.

Three people have been shot but the office help is kind. Laundry room stays dirty. The people tend to keep themselves to themselves. Most clean up after their dogs but poop is still on walkways. Still you hear fighting in other Apts.

There is zero communication from the office manager unless it's emails about silly events or calling to ask about rent before its even due. There have been 3 shootings, one on the directly out front of my apartment walkway and a second only feet away from my patio door out back and not one thing has been said by management. But I do know when it's Oreo cookie day, smh. None of the amenities are available, pool hasn't been open since we moved in (2019) and the weight room/ work out room is always locked and used for storage by maintenance. My refrigerator cord melted in the wall and the maintenance man asked if I had an appliance I wasn't using, he wanted to cut the cord from that to splice onto the refrigerator instead of properly replacing the cord. Every summer the air conditioner upstairs leaks water through the walls into the back bedroom which has made the room unusable as a bedroom. Manager is nosy, has to investigate when you call with an issue before she will assign a worker to handle the problem. It's almost as if she doesn't believe your problem is legitimate unless she sees for herself. We only continue to live here because it's close to my mother in law and I'm disabled.

New Irving Heights is in breach of NC General Statutes, Chapter 42, Article 5, ? 42-42. The property managers utilize weaponized incompetence while dealing with tenants and do not respond to calls or emails when tenants reach out. The office hours are posted but the office is closed 70% of the time. The maintenance crews do not fix issues, at best they come in and do cosmetic fixes to placate without fixing the actual issue. They also remove maintenance requests without warning.

The kids barely have a park. We have no pool, and it has turned into the projects. Rent is high for no reason! It's loud and you have teens running loose and smoking in the laundry rooms. Can't wait to move!

The apartments are a little older and could probably use some updated renovations. The staff is understanding and very helpful. I've been living here, on and off, since 2017. If I could stay I would but my family is finally outgrowing the space. That's how much I love the staff. Lukas is amazing!

I constantly have to ask for repairs and when I'm not I'm being disturbed by loud, smoking, inconsiderate neighbors. And the smoke gets in my home. And the drains are all connected so I hear loud noises each time neighbor does anything with pipe
