It's affordable, but it's very dated. I can't complain too much, but I will say that this should be a no-smoking community because there is a smoker in my building, and it's horrible.

First, Princeton Properties, please do not respond with your canned kindness and commitment to follow up. You've been promising this to posters/reviewers going back a few years yet things do not change. Save it. So, here goes, first the bad: Poor insulation, drafty windows, outdated appliances, mold, and an office staff that treats you with distrust, unkindness and just a down right inhospitable attitude. The good: Our neighbors are quiet so noise is not an issue, and we always feel safe. A locked outside door and ample lighting is helpful. The location is great with convenient access to route 3 and a shopping area and restaurants are nearby. We would not rent here again. That's it! Renters beware.

Since they have started charging for water (not only hot but all water), sewer and trash it has become a bit concerning. Last month I took 15 showers as I was only home 15 out of the 30 days as I travel for work frequently. Upon receiving my water bill, calculating a my "water usage", it was $1.90 per shower. On top on rent, hot water, gas, electric, I still need to pay $1.90 to take a 5 minute shower. (I live alone). Seriously Boulder Park, that is a bit concerning. People who are NOT using resources are being penalized for the people who are over using them. If there are no individual usuage meters, averaging the building's usage is not fair. Again, the people with 5 kids and no job are getting a break while the person busting their hump at work half the month on the road is paying for them.

In Praise of Boulder Park
I have been a tenant at Boulder Park for a great many years. The apartments are spacious amd the grounds are well-kept. Whether I have a minor problem or a major issue (as happened this summer), the maintenance team, along with the office staff, work to make it right. It may be their complex but it is my home. I expect good service and they do not disappoint. A very comfortable, well cared for, safe place to live.

Great place to live!!
I am suprised to read all the negative reviews here! Ive lived at Boulder park for well over 5 years and just purchased a house. I am sad I will have to leave here, I have always found the staff to be friendly & responsive. Janet in the office has been great, Ken in maintanance has always fixed any small issues I had right away. I'm going to miss the summer BBQ and spending my days at the pool! Thank you for a great 5 years Boulder Park!

Horrendous staff makes a decaying building worse
I honestly don't have anything nice to say about this complex. Countless problems within my old unit (exploding water heater, gas leak in the stove, drafty windows, fire alarms that constantly went off, just to name a few). That doesn't even include the countless calls to maintenance to fix a rodent infestation. In the end we caught 5 mice in the unit. Despite all that, the staff would not take steps to prevent mice from getting in, repeatedly stating everything was fine. The office manager, Kelly, is one of the most unprofessional, uncourteous, and all around useless people I have ever encountered. She would be accusatory when a problem occurred. She literally tried to blame me for damages to my own personal property that occurred when the water heater exploded. How she has a job that involves human interaction is beyond me. Finally, when I first moved in, I was told when my original 12 month lease was up, I could renew for 6 months at the same price. Never happened and they refused to admit telling me that, saying that Iā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Rates through the roof!!!!
If you want a $150 plus a month increase every year, live here. Extremely high for windows that are super drafty and they will not replace. Of course they won't, they pay $0.00 of utilities. Also, if you do not like the odor of curry, move on. My upstair neighbors either have opened a bowling alley above me or their kids that can't be controlled. Management does nothing about it. Appliances are from the the 70's as well, (I think from the Three's Company set) our two bedroom apartment doesn't even have a garbage disposal. Isn't it 2011? Seriously???? ........And they want how much a month for rent??? Please, please tell me this is a late April fool's joke with the rate increase AGAIN. The parking and layout are decent, but they just want to rake in as much money as possible and have not done a single upgrade in two years.

Dont let their nice landscaping a Firepit/Pool fool you.
Boulder Park is a horrible place to call home. The Property Manager(-----) is rude, unprofessional, racisit, and ----! I swear the maintenance guys are --------------------------- that cant manage to fix anything in one try. The apartments are simple and nice, but the apliances, tub/sink, cabinets are ALL outdated, and break often because they're poor quality. The Pool is nice except its always packed with the same crowd of Obessed people getting in their daily summer showers causing it to be cloudy and salty (Gag!). The Fire Pit, and the 3 grills in the Lawns are Always taken in the summer so dont plan on any family gatherings. There is constantly young adults throwing parties, and causing scenes in the parkinglots, screaming/cursing/hitting. The walls are SUPER THIN, every night i listen to my old neighbor call someone around 11:30p (another country?) and i can hear her entire conversation while laying in bed, I cant imagine what she hears when Im in my bed!! Total lack of privacy. The rent is just TOO high with no real luxury to offer, other than nice green grass, and flowers. If you plan on coming home after 9pm, dont expect to have parking if yourā¦Ā See More>NatashaLV123

Absolutely Horrid
I absolutely hate this property staff. The property manager, -----------, has resorted to name calling on many occasions, maintenance is here all the time, because they cannot fix the heat properly the first two or three times. My neighbors are horridly rude and nosy, as most ------- are, but it is at the point where it's becoming excessive. ----- has also resorted to racial insults on more than one occasion, she is unprofessional, unethical, and highly disrespectful to those in the area who are basically a different color. There was a horrible draft that "couldn't" be fixed, the heat regularly didn't work, and the hot water also would also stop working.I would encourage everyone to find a different place to live.

The pros definitely outweigh the cons
PROS: *Excellent floorplan *Very large master bedroom and living room *Adequately sized second bedroom *Galley style kitchen with look through into the living room *They are one of only two apartment complexes in Nashua that allow dogs *Ample parking as long as you are home before 7:00pm *Staff was always respectful *The rent was very fair for the amount of square footage *Very convenient location - supermarket right across the street, highway less than 1/4 mile away *Playground areas for children which are generally kept clean *Swimming pool and fitness center *Maintenance staff responded promptly to requests and were usually able to fix the problem in one trip. *The hot water heater was large enough that it allowed us to take 25 minute showers without running out of hot water. *Dishwasher *Small security deposit required *Minimal pet fees *Air conditioner wall unit is old but still very efficient. Combined with a window unit in the bedroom at the other end of the apartment, our appartment was very cool all summer. *Landscaping and the outsides of the buildings are very well maintained. CONS: *The windows are EXTREMELY drafty. *The heater in the master bedroom did not work all winter. BUT we never asked maintenance to repair it. I cant speculate on whether it would have been repaired. *The "secure" door in theā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Not a good one during Winters
I stayed for more than an year and winters are problematic here. Snow cleaning is pathetic more worse in parking lots. Heater doesnt work well. Windows are not good - in the sense that they dont fit the walls perfectly and thus have small apertures and thus during winter cold air keeps coming in and even rain water too sometimes. And more importantly, even after requesting for service/maintenance, they do little for window & heater problems - I heard this problem from 3 other friends too staying in different buidings here. Rent amount they charge is relatively quite high for this area. No flexibility on lease terms. Well, its not all bad either - I really liked many things too: apts are safe, well maintained, leasing office is open on weekends as well, facilities like gym, swimming, tennis courts are available and maintained well.

Boulder Park # 1 Nashua Apartments
Boulder Park (managed by princeton properties) is by far the best apartment complex I've lived in in the Nashua area, and I've been in quite a few! The staff is very helpful, courteous and always friendly. The maintenance guys were terrific, always on time and respectful of my home. The apartments in themselves are very clean, look very new and contemporary. The overall area was very quiet, especially considering the amount of people that they house here. The only thing I could possibly complain about was the fact that the walls are pretty thin between apartments. The only reason I'm leaving is to save some money to buy a home soon! I'm sad to leave such a spacious and comfortable home, but I've got to take advantage of that first time homebuyer's credit in 2009!!

Positive Feedback on BoulderPark and Mgmt Team (Cheryl)
After spending time at Boulder and interviewing 1/2 dozen tenants and meeting with Cheryl and her team, I can share the following. 1) Princeton is working very hard to continually improve Boulderpark; by addressing feedback from their current and past residents. 2) In reading this form, I shared many of the negative comments with the current residents and found they were completely surprised. My assessment is that while I'm sure there are and have been issues... it looks like the majority of the residents are very happy there. 3) I found Cheryl and her team; professional, compassionate, and very fair. In fact, they went the extra mile to help make us feel comfortable and happy. Great job and keep up the excellent work.

Recommend
I have lived at Boulder Park for over 2 years, and have enjoyed my stay. Maintenance has responded quickly to the 3 small problems that I had. I found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful. Additionally, I found that apartments to be very quite and very rarely heard neighbors.
