Horrible First Apartment
I moved into Boulder Park with my husband because of the low rent but we have had nothing but issues. We have complained about pretty much everything in our kitchen but nothing has been fixed. Currently our oven doesn't work, even when you lock a door you can still just push it open, the dishwasher doesn't work and the toilet tank takes over an hour to fill. There is also the light outside the building that has been out for 3 months and hasn't been fixed but that is the least of the problems.Unless you really only care about money then do not move here!

Glad we decided against apartments
My fiance and I arrived to take a tour of the apartments. We were in need of an apartment by the end of the month, so we were very interested. However, we arrived 2 hours before the leasing staff was to close for the day because we were told that we didn't need an appointment. Well, we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for someone to show us some places (the woman was out with someone else) When she came back, she didn't even acknowledge us, she had her little assistant tell us to leave. She wasn't willing to stay an extra 15 minutes to show us anything or to speak with us, and I even mentioned that I was from out of town, and I was leaving that day. My fiance and I are in our twenties, and personally I think that the leasing staff thought that we weren't serious. Well too bad for them, we left and decided on a beautiful apartment complex where we were treated with respect. I feel so much better knowing that many people are not happy living at Boulder Park.

Living at Boulder
I have lived at Boulder Park for 2 years know. I have never had a problem with the office staff! They are great people and very friendly and they help you out anyway they can! People who have complained about the office staff maybe it's you! As well for the maintenance workers at Boulder Park I hardly call in a problem (it has to annoy me first for me to call) but they are there and they fix the problem right away! I have had problems with my heat for the first time in 2 years and they are exceptional! They stayed late to help me fix my problem, believe me you won't get that service anywhere else! I moved in to the right building I guess because i have really no problems and if i did i would contact the office and it was fixed so for those people who say the office staff is rude, i don't think you have given it a chance and just like to complain and when your lease is up MOVE OUT!

Haven't slept since moving here
I was fooled into thinking I was getting a month's free rent by signing a 13 month lease. I was told to put down a months rent as my security deposit, but I was unable to move into my place until the middle of the month-- so half of my supposed "security deposit" was actually going towards two weeks rent. I am only getting half of what I put down as my security deposit back. The management is just as inflexible and rude as everyone says. I was promised before signing my lease that the management would make sure there were no children living above me (they will say anything to get you in there, and then they will treat you like crap once you are in!!!), and I have ended up living below three. These children are constantly stampeding around the apartment. It is soo loud that my light fixtures rattle, and I am woken up by 7 AM every weekend. I addressed this with the leasing office, and nothing was done about it. There are 3 washers and 3! dryers in each building, and they break all the time. Sometimes they even ruin your clothes. It will takeā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Better since June 2006
Since Princeton Properties took over management in June 2006, the improvements to the grounds and outside maintenance have been greatly improved. Good curb appeal now and the new gym facility is fantastic. The management is more approachable now too and any problems we have experienced since they took over have been dealt with immediately and to our satisfaction. Room for improvement - windows, windows, windows!

Best Place to live in Nashua
I have no complaints about Boulder Park. I lived on the 3rd floor and did not have to use my heat more than 3 or 4 times the entire winter. It was pretty hot in the summer, but nothing that the ac unit could not take care of. The pool is outstanding and was a great way to spend the summer. We had one or two maintenance requests and both were handled quickly and professionally with a smile. The management staff is delightful to work with and the neighbors were always friendly. The two bedroom apartment is huge, a good size bathroom and another small bathroom. The kitchen had all new appliances (something you can request at an up charge, but worth it) and the windows were great for the sunshine that poured in. The only reason we moved is because we bought a house. A truly wonderful place to live, definitely the best in Nashua. Pet friendly as well makes a huge difference to the quality of life.

security deposit
I moved out August 28th 2007. I just received the remainder of my security deposit on Friday, SIX MONTHS AFTER MOVING!!!! I called the office countless times. I called Princeton Properties a number of times. Thank you Mary for being the only professional employee there.

they are trying to jack the rents
Here's the deal. When I moved in here the rent was only about $700. After the first year they jacked it to $800. Now they are advertising $900 for new tenants. This is on the 1 bedroom apartments. Now if you agree to pay the $900 then they will lock you into that but you should offer to pay only $700 and then go to $800 if mgmt refuses that. THERE ARE TONS OF APARTMENTS THAT ARE NOT RENTED OUT or they would have already gone to $900 for existing tenants. That's what they are trying to do is get everyone up by $200-$300 dollars or more you see. Now - if they won't rent to you fro $800 or $700 on the 1 bedrooms then you can go to many other complexes nearby that are just as nice but that are about 100 to 200 sqaure feet bigger for the same price as the $900. Now - the same scenario would apply on the 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING THROUGH THE WALLS AND FLOORS - WALLS AND FLOORS ARE LIKE PAPER. DON'T BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU ITā¦Ā See More>anonymous

I would not recommend anyone to live here.
The rent is high and will only go up due to the endless number of renovations to the grounds (leasing office, pool, landscaping) NOT the apartments that have been being made. You pay all this money that DOES NOT include heat or electricity and the windows pour in cold air all winter. The office staff is not helpful at all. I think there may be one person there that I have found helpful. They don't pay attention to what needs to be done in the buildings, I had a broken lock on my side door for over 2 weeks on a building that is supposed to be "secure" and anyone could just walk in, I still have 2 lights out in my hall way for the past week and have had numerous holes in the ceiling of our stairwells. Oh and we have a washer/dryer per floor but don't count on them working on a regular basis.

Loved my time at Boulder Park
As a three and a half year resident at Boulder Park, I can say that I would recommend it for sure as a place to rent in Nashua. The people I lived around were great and always ready to open a door or help out with a move. The new company that has just taken over has done some great renovations to the grounds, gym, clubhouse...it was a much nicer place to live the last year-plus. And as a male in my mid 20s I found it easy to meet people and easy to get downtown for nights out. And easy to jump on 3 to get to Boston. Target, Market Basket and every other store or restaurant you'd ever want is right there. I moved out because it was time to invest in my own property, but I have nothing be good thoughts about my time at BP.

Awesome! (Minus the windows)
I'm comfortable at Boulder Park. People complain about loud neighbors and smells of curry... but it really depends on which building you are in (and if you have the balls to go upstairs and tell your neighbors to shut-up). I guess I'm lucky because my neighbors are really nice and they are not loud at all.

-Great location (walking distance of grocery stores, gas stations, dunkin donuts, fast food, restaurants)
-Friendly staff
-Nice new gym
-Friendly neighbors
-Snow removal is quite decent
-Safe area (I'm a 22 year old chick and I walk around the complex alone at night with no worries)
-Parking is NEVER a problem, there are plenty of spots for yourself and guests
-Well landscaped
-Roomie apartments, BUTTTTTT
-THE WINDOWS LEAK COLD AIR (I have been sick for 3 months now)
-They wont fix the windows
-Heat bill is high because the windows suck
-Hallway floors have dips and holes under the carpet
-The speed bumps suck, but I've seen worse

If you dont like living in an apartment go buy a house, if you cant afford it you should have planned better.
My wife and I live here because we can save money. I could not be more satisfied with Boulder Park. My wife and I have everything we need in an apartment here. The only improvement that could possibly be made is more parking spaces. Other than that, the apartment has tons of space in the 2 bedroom, stays hot in the winter and cold in the summer without expensive utility bills.

Most Horrible Place. Run by really stupid People
This place is falling apart. The windows leak cold air even after I stuffed insulation. The management is spending a lot of money in unwanted places like rebuilding the leasing office when the apartments suck.
You can hear you neigbors next door and above you all the time.

The management is run by bunch of misfits. The property manager is a real @$%^&*().

Not recommended
My family and I have lived here for approximately four (4) years. Generally, regarding apartments, there are three items of concern :

1) Do you get what you pay for (rent verse size and functionality of unit)
2) How restrictive is the lease agreement
2) How does the management treat the tenants

First, the buildings/units utilize very cheap materials / components. In the winter, the windows leak cold air like nobodies business. The heating systems are inexpensive/ineficient and subject to break-down. Over all, the rent is a little high for the square footage. (these are just some examples)

Second, with the introduction of the new management, a very detailed, and VERY land-lord weighted lease agreement is offered. The lease agreement includes line items dealing with each minute item in the apartment (ie. the ice trays will cost you $3 a pop if lost/broken). As an additional example, the lease states the "proper way" your car must be parked in the lot (front in and subject to towing if non-compliant). As a final example, the leases end on the 28th of the last month (but you pay for the entire month and if you needā¦Ā See More>griff_davis

Happy here :)
I chose Boulder Park, because of the management company. I used to live at Pinewood Estates/Princeton Properties in Manchester, before I was transferred to Massachusetts for work. When I was sent back to NH, I specifically looked at the 2 Princeton Properties locations in Nashua. I chose Boulder Park, because it was closer to work, and I loved the idea of having 2 bathrooms. I know that Princeton just bought this place in June, and they are definitely doing alot of work. They have fixed the main entry road and painted the hallways. It's nice to be able to be proud of your home, when people come to visit.
I am anxious for them to re-open their office. They are renovating it right now, and I heard that they are buying all new fitness equipment... it will be nice to stop paying for the gym.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Boulder Park to my friends and co-workers :)

Pros and Cons you make the judgement.
Pros:
1.) New management company is doing improvements (i.e Shingles, landscaping, road, hallways painted, renovated community/office/gym)
2.) Large apartments.
3.) Friendly Staff (office and service)
4.) Laundry on each floor which uses laundry cards instead of quarters. 24hr access to the card recharge machine.
5.) Easy access to highway (Route 3) and other amenities (Target, Walgreenās, many food options, Market Basket, etc).
6.) Very little Holiday shopping congestion in comparison to other area properties.
7.) Rent payments through the web

Cons:
1.) Older fixtures, appliances, windows (poor fitting screens), and flooring (they replaced my carpet) in my apartment. All of which I have seen them replacing in newly rented apartments.
2.) Older park-esk area for the children.
3.) Neighboring apartment smells, this is mainly due to the ventilation placed when the buildings were built.
4.) Slow service response or multiple service visits required to fix issue. This is partly due to the new company being slightly overwhelmed by making upgrades and improvement that were neglected by the previous company.
5.) Very little in apartment storage but there are onsite storage units that I use.

Area that I can not comment on:
1.) Snow removal since the new company has not been in place over a snow season.
2.) Move-out/Move-In procedures/issues since I haveā¦Ā See More>anonymous

LOVE IT!!!!
I have been a resident here for two years. This is By far the best location! Right off route 3 and close to all major shopping favorites! Plus having alot of furniture, I was excited to see all the open space! I have a two bedroom, and was very nervous to see my gas bill last winter, hey it wasn't bad at all, on average 75.00 a month. At first I was a little hesitant on moving in after reading all the negetive comments here on the ratings! I took into serious consideration then realized it is only a small percentage of unhappy people for a big community! A decision I am glad I made! For those of you have problems with the smell of Curry GET OVER IT!! What if they don't like the smell of our food?? You don't see them writing to complain about it!!!! I recommend this place to every one!

Not bad...
for the area... it's a little overpriced.. but you get a pretty big unit... I have a very large two bedroom that gives me plenty of room to spread out...

the location of the apartments is great too - walking distance to the grocery store is a plus.

the biggest complaint I have is my upstairs neighbors -there is a very untalented person there learning to play the guitar and well - they are awful - and loud... they also have lead feet.. they stomp around the apartment all day long it gets very frustrating...

There is 1 washer and dryer per floor -which is OK except on weekends when you have prima donna tenants who don't take their stuff out of the washers right away and leave a person waiting.

There's a new person int he building management office who's not friendly at all - the young woman whos' beent here a while is a sweetheart

The New management Sucks!!
The new management realy sucks. They are very very rude. Een more than the earlier management! Can you believe it!

They have hiked rents like anything for no reason. While sighning the rent, they make you sign on a ---- of paper which lists down the price of each and every component of the house and what they would charge if they feel it is not in good shape when you leave. So forget about your deposit right away.

They also make you leave the apt on 28th of the month when your lease ends. But they do take the whole month's rent.

They also do not have locks to the bathrooms anymore. .. they say its the Princeton policy ... **$#$#*#*((#*

Stay away!!!!

As a former potential resident I will say that at first when looking, I thought the apartments and the grounds we nice, HOWEVER, the LEASING DEPARTMENT AND MANAGEMENT TEAM IS BEYOND THE WORSTTT I HAVE EVER EVER COME ACROSS!! YOU ARE MADE TO WAIT DAYS for an answer of if you are approved only to find out that you are NOT, eSPECIALLY AFTER BEING TOLD THAT IT SHOULD BE NOOO PROBLEM!!! THE COMPANY I AM WORKING FOR WAS GOING TO RENT OUT THE APARTMENT AND IT WAS SAID THAT IT WAS NO PROBLEM! NOW I HAVE TO BE MOVED WITH MY JOB AND HAVE LIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME TO MOVE FROM ONE STATE TO THE NEXT AND THE COMPANY I WORK FOR IS A MULTI - MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY THAT COULD PAY OFF THE WHOLE BILL FOR A YR WITHOUT A BLINK OF AN EYE! IT WAS SAID THAT THERE WERE NO ISSUES WITH THIS, AS I AM PATIENTLY WAITING FOR 4 WHOLE DAYS WITH LITTLE TIME BEFORE MY BIG MOVE FROM ONE STATE THERE IS NOOO CALL FROM THE LEASING DEPARTMENT EITHER WAY, SO I CALLED TO FIND OUT ONLY TO BE TOLD NOOO THE COMPANY THAT IS REPUTABLE,ā¦Ā See More>anonymous

I am so glad I finally got away from this place.
These people suck. We were trying to get a new place to live and they totally jerked us around. First we had to give them permission to give the potential landlord rental history, according to them. This was unheard of to me. We gave them permission to give rental history to a potential landlord and they never did. They just kept dicking us around. We would call and they would say they would fax the papers and never would. Eventually it came down to the last couple days of our lease and we had no other choice but to stay because they would never give the person the information he was requesting. If you ask me that is wrong. They had almost an entire month to get this information out and they never did. Basically, they forced us to stay there. We ended up having to sign another 6 month lease, that we broke after a month anyway. As far as I'm concerned they will never get the money we owe them. I also agree with EVERYTHING everyone else has had to say that was negative.

Will never recommend this place to anyone...
I have lived here since last Aug. It has been an awful experience. A new management company recently purchased the apartments, unfortunately I dont think they are going to be much better. Any maintence issues require 3-4 phone calls until they come out to fix it. At that time, they half-fix it just to shut you up. Then plan on another 3-4 phone calls to get them to come back again. Safety is not a huge concern to them. In my building, no lights work in the stair wells...Ive complained 4 times. Still no lights. Its like they want to be sued when someone falls down the stairs in the dark and break their leg. Dont waste your money!!

Lousy place(worse owner)
I live in the condos above BP. I used to live in BP when it was part of the Korsak group. It was much better when Korsak owned it.(management, only)Definately built cheap(Korsak way!!) Same with Condos where I live. We've done much maintainance to correct his lousy construction. Once fixed condos are fine.
This jerk, Haiman(from Michigan)bought most apts from Korsak several years ago. Korsak family still own several near base of hill.
Road & speedbumps are a nightmare.Bumps were put in as retaliation for condo assoc. refusal to help pay for road. We have easement, but no ownership of road.(again through Korsak)Haiman is supposedly selling complex in June to another owner. Time will tell if this owner is any better. I feel sorry for you folks down there. Staff, when I lived there was pretty good overall.
