Great apartment complex and great location. The office staff and the maintenance team truly go above and beyond. I called in for a maintenance request on a day that the maintenance team was on an emergency call, and Greg, Who works at the office came to my apartment and helped me. Thank you so much Greg and the Camden Shadow Brook team for going above and beyond!

I love the team at Shadowbrook. They've made made my first impression and move-in such a frisson. Their geniality characteristics as a team made me feel that I can go to each of them with any discrepancy. Even the maintenance team fixed problems I had with my apartment the same or next day. I would put names of them on here but I really don't feel like listing everyone that works here. If you're looking for a very reasonable/comptetive priced complex, I suggest them. You'll get a bang out of your bucks!!!!!!!!!

I have NEVER had such an AMAZING experience at a property in my entire life. I was blessed to work with Ashley Petre, who is the most phenomenal leasing consultant I have worked with in my life! She is incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond even before I was a resident and continues to do so with here bubbly personality, remarkable follow-up, excellent customer service and accountability. Broc is the lead maintenance and he Is nothing short of a superhero. I was having a major case of the Mondays with myself being sick and my wife needing to get to work for an important meeting, meanwhile both my truck battery was dead, left the lights on all night, and my wife's car was completely out of gas. Needless to say Broc saved the day with a large gas can the he allowed me to use and my truck got my wife to work just fine. He refused to be paid for the gas I had used and was sincerely glad that he was able to help us out. I am overwhelmed at how professional and courteous the entire staff has been and they communicate so well amongst each other that no matter who answers the phone when you call you can count on them knowing exactly who you are and how they can help before you even state the the reason for your call. The apartment on move-in day was immaculate and even offered to install the smart thermostat I purchased to help save on the bills. The other staff members Shawnty, Julie, assistant manager Molly and property manager Naomi have all each been equally awesome as well. We are first-time Austin residents recently relocating from Dallas and I am so glad my family and I found Camden Shadow Brook it has certainly been one of the best decisions that we've made!

I've been living at Camden Shadow Brook for almost 3 years now and I'm reaching out to you, the public, to inform you of the experiences you may be missing out on. The staff all around is absolutely exceptional. If you're going to live in Austin, we all know that we're going to pay a little more than in other areas of Texas. If you're going to pay a little more, you might as well live with the best. Any service requests that are reported, are always fixed and completed the same day. This is exceptional. They do criminal background checks. Every neighbor I've met is friendly and respectful. We all help each other out like a community should. The office staff: they are remarkable and compassionate. To name a few, Ashley Petre, Julie Clark and Shawnty Herndon are outstanding professionals that care about their careers and the people that live in their communities. Shawnty personally helped me with my latest move. I had some roommate issues and had to transfer to a single bedroom apartment. I feel grateful that during that stressful time that they waved my deposit, since I made my payments on time throughout my lengthy stay before things got awry with a new roommate. Thank you, Shawnty! The workout facilities will keep you in shape and away from having to join a gym or spa. The landscaping is always well groomed, which can be easy on the eyes after a hard days work. If you're looking for a new apartment in Austin, look no further. Give them a try. What do you have to lose?

My husband and I have lived at this complex for more than 3 years. We just recently transferred to a different unit within the community and the staff helped so much in making it a smooth transition. Maintenance is always quick to fix your issues, the location can't be beat and the office staff really takes the time to talk to you and make you feel like more than a rent check. It's also a very pet-friendly community which is great for our 2 dogs. We're close to trails and dog parks which we frequent often. We're about 8 miles from Downtown Austin but access is easy via I-35, Congress, or South 1st Street. Highly recommend!

I've been here a few months and absolutely love it so far! Julie was so great in helping me find an apartment that works for me and the application process was so easy! There is a lot of open green space and a cute pond with ducks, where I enjoy walking my dog. There is also a good size off-leash dog park and a trail that leads to a nearby park! There are two beautiful pools and fitness centers. The staff even had a movie night at the pool this summer. The Yoga/Spin room is so awesome, with the iPad, I can do any kind of work out video I want! The maintenance team is also amazing and friendly! They have been very quick to respond to service requests. Lastly, this South Austin location is so convenient to a lot of shopping, restaurants, and easy access to Mopac and 35!

I have enjoyed living in Camden Shadowbrook since April 2017. The staff is always helpful, patient, and kind, from the leasing office to the maintenance team. Being a graduate student who doesn't own a printer, it is nice to be able to go to the office and print my notes for free. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the fitness center, and the trail. The leasing office, (shoutout to Shawnty Herndon) has gone above and beyond in helping me transition to another apartment in the same community since I am getting married soon! I am happy to continue living here, as I feel safe in this community, and the location is very convenient.

I’ve rented here for over 2 years now and I really enjoy living here! The front office is very responsive and engaging and they’ve always listened to my concerns and addressed them when needed. The maintenance teams keep the grounds well manicured and when I enter maintenance requests, the turn around has always been less than 24 hours. The team here really works hard to make living here an enjoyable experience and it’s clearly evident in their diligence to customer satisfaction. Noise got a 4 only and because my apartment is a stones throw from Slaughter and I hear all the trafffic. That can’t be helped, but it is noisy.

We've lived here for almost a year and really enjoy it! The front office staff is nice, friendly and capable--they take care of things easily and are always willing to help. Same high standard for the maintenance team...anything that needs fixed or for emergency plumbing, heating, etc they really come through. Tina is especially friendly and handy, she fixed our furnace on New Year's Eve and saved the day! Johnny is especially nice and efficient for fixing our blinds when they fell down. Calling about questions or concerns goes to a main call center or the local front office. They are all helpful especially Julie, she's so nice and really cares about the residents. She helps with questions right away and makes me feel welcomed and comfortable here. It's a great experience and most of the other residents are friendly & nice & most importantly clean and respectful. It's a wonderful place for families with kids because of the two pools and the Mary Moore nature park right next door. We love going to the playground there:) Dog lovers also seem to enjoy the dog park and there's lots of grass to roam even a tiny makeshift pond with ducks. Great place! I highly recommend Camden living.

I moved here in 2009 when the Phase 2 opened up. These are the best apartments I have ever lived in. I changed to a different unit this year and the staff went above and beyond to make it as easy as it could be done. They are always very nice and listen attentively when I need to talk to them. The maintenance department is excellent and fixes things very fast.

My roommate and I had to move out of our last apartment fast due to some circumstances. We came to Camden Shadow Brook, they were (are) super nice and very helpful!! They guided us on what to do, they made the move in process very quick and easy!! All the staff in the leasing office was there when we needed them. If you are looking for a place to to live i would highly recommend this apartment!!

Great staff and beautiful place to live! Our experience here has been nothing but peaceful and enjoyable. The moment we visited the property we immediately felt at home and 100% welcomed by Ashley our leasing consultant. She listened to our needs and wants and took the time to give us a tour right before the apartments closed at 6p. She went ABOVE and beyond helping us transition into our new home and even left the SWEETEST welcome note and package for us on move in day with a hand written note and TREATS for our cats. SO THOUGHTFUL. WE have the most beautiful little 1B, 1B tucked away in the back of the property with a creek view, and almost direct access to a great walking trail in Mary Moore Seawright park. 10/10 would recommend living here (esp. after living at another large property owned by a competing name and having the WORST Experience ever.) If you are questioning living here, ask for a tour with Ashley and she will make sure you are taken care of!

Shawnty made moving in so easy! I went from being homeless to signing my lease in an hour's time! She answered all of my millions of questions and got everything set up for me to move in the next day. I'm so appreciative!! Even when our fridge died, the team did everything they could to help us get it fixed! The staff is always so warm and welcoming, and their friendly demeanor makes it so easy to ask for assistance when we need. The dog park is a great feature for our furry friends, both our personal entrance to the city park AND our personal Bark and Play area. We love living in this community!

I love living at Shadow Brook! The office staff are so friendly and helpful! When I first moved in my mailbox key wasn't working and they brought me a new key and my mail to my door! With two small waste is the most amazing and convenient amenity I've ever had at an apartment! The gym is great and has a great view of their beautiful pool! I love all the green space around the pond, my 1 and 2 year old have so much fun playing outside and running into their little friends and seeing our neighbors' fur babies! I've been here for about 3 months and I don't have a single complaint! Living here is one of the best parts of working for Camden!

I currently live here and I am counting down the days for my lease to be over so I can move. Touring the apartments of course was great and seemed appealing at the time. First week here the light bulbs in the track lights and bathrooms went out. So we called they came and fixed the lights within the next day or two. Maybe a week later the door knob to my daughters bedroom slid off and she was stuck in there. So we called they came the next day and fixed the door knob. The fridge squeals at night and day off and on. We reported that and was told they couldn't fix that. Bulbs keep going out every other week and "we aren't supposed to change them ourselves." The walls and floor are paper thin so you can hear when someone is talking, watching tv, vacuuming. Really anything, so there's no privacy. The sink clogged up and filled with brown nasty water. We called the office and the water went down but we could still smell the water just hanging in the piping. They showed up and since the water went down some they said, "we can't do anything if there's not issue." Even though I told him the smell is there and that the water is just sitting there. He didn't believe there was anything wrong. So my husband and myself tried a few things to make it go away. It continues to come back and then we try to make it go away again. Our neighbors have the same issue with the piping. A plumber was upstairs from us for hours snaking the pipes at 9:00 at night. The sound was so loud our 3 year old was scared to go to bed. The people in the complex drive very fast in the parking lot so be cautious when walking around. The gates break pretty much every week. This place falls apart. I wouldn't waste your money. Go some where and get your money's worth.

If you come and tour Camden Shadow Brook you will not regret it. Ask for Johanna Hamilton at the front office she is the most down to earth professional I have ever met in a leasing office, she is the reason I live at Shadow Brook year after year. There is also this AMAZINGLY sweet maintenance woman who waves to everyone when she is outside, riding around, anything and just embodies the culture of shadow brook extremely well. She is a phenomenal asset to this community and makes me feel right at home.

After living with Camden for three years and at Shadow Brook for two years I can say this is the best onsite ever. I work in property management so usually I am hyper critical of where I live. I have never enjoyed it more. The dog park is clean and well kept, the grounds are always nice and the gym rocks. Sad we are living but we bought a house. Alex is the best leading assistant we have worked with ever. Very friendly and looks like she's be a pretty awesome person in general. Live here, you'll love it.

I've read the reviews and can only speak from my experience and so far, it has been AMAZING! I will start by saying Collette, Sarah, and Amanda are an office dream team... Collette was my leasing agent and she literally has gone above and beyond to assure my comfortability. She kept in touch during the entire process and even when I asked questions she quickly provided an answer. My mom had come with me to view the property initially and Collette was awesome to both of us. When Collette was off for a few days during my process of moving in, she assured anyone would be able to assist and sure enough, I had questions I'd thought of and Amanda filled Collette's shoes with no complaints and even took me on a second tour of the property to show me the exact building I'd be in... I moved here from 13 hours away... Actually DROVE and thought I'd have to get a hotel room, even though I'd paid my rent and signed my lease on line (which is another awesome perk... No cashiers chks!)... I called the office to explain I would be getting there after closing time and Sarah was awesome at working other arrangements out so I didn't have to spend extra money for a room. The apartment has been even better than I had initially imagined because honestly, considering the actual one I was moving into wasn't available for my viewing, I was nervous because I'd only seen other floor plans so I would get an idea of what to expect. Needless to say, I am THOROUGLY pleased. PLUS it comes with a washer and a dryer (not raggedy ones either) and an alarm system that you can decide to have professionally monitored. I haven't utilized the pool or hot tub (even though they look super inviting). There are 2 pools on property and 2 fitness facilities. The community is pretty large so it's safe to say they are needed. I've only been to the theatre room once, and that was during my tour. Honestly my TV is pretty large so I personally won't utilize it, but it's available if necessary or if the want arises. The area I live in is quiet and I've met one of my neighbors and her son and they are really kind. All in all MY experience has been awesome and I've almost been here a month now. To be honest, I credit those three ladies for making this transition as smooth as possible. I moved away from all of my family and friends and ended up here for work and they have gone above and beyond. Thanks Collette, Sarah, and Amanda... -T
