This complex is nice if you are a young adult or college student but if you are older you probably won't appreciate the noise. They say it is a non-smoking community but residents clearly smoke on their balconies and in the hallways. You are charge $25/month for valet trash but most of the residents hate it and it is constantly complained about. The gym is really nice though and has a variety of machines and it is never too busy so there isn't waiting for equipment. Parking isn't the greatest and the lots that aren't building A are normally full by 10PM causing you to street park or park in building A and walk across to your building. It is in a nice walkable neighborhood and is going to be one of the best priced buildings to live in for this area.

Camden living has been a positive experience. Matinence is quick, effective, and friendly. My unit is fantastic and security is top notch. I look forward to making this my home for years to come.

I lived at Camden Belmont from 2013 to 2014 in a 2 bedroom with my ex-girlfriend. The apartment was nice and came with its own washer and dryer. Parking was a bit tight but whoever I leased with was up front about it. I lived in building D (I think) which had a smaller parking lot than all of them. I reserved a spot since this building did not have garages. Worst case if either my ex or myself came home late and could not find a spot we could park in the main buildings multi-level parking garage which was just across the street. The neighborhood was great and had many bars and restaurant's that you could walk to. Maintenance was quick and the staff was always nice when I went to grab a package. Overall I enjoyed living there and the only reason we moved was because my new job was in north Dallas.

We hate this place. Only reason we resigned is b/c we were given a wk notice to renew or move out. Not enough time to find a new place. Rent will increase $200+ when you resign. Awful staff. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

I cant wait to get out of here! Mangement is unresponsive to reuqests, with maintenance request taking at least a couple of days, up to a couple of months. The hallways are dirty and the security gates sometimes arent working for entire weekends, effectively negating any other security measures. Parking is a nightmare for visitors.

This place doesn't even deserve a single star... But that's the lowest you can give!!! Worst apartment complex in all if Texas! Not only is it sorry service for the renters here.. They don't even keep up with maintenance. We lived her for over 7 months with them out even changing the air filters... When they did the filters looked 2 years old, which is probably accurate. We have been here 15 months and it's only been changed once because we complained! You would think that would be against some regulations for apartment complexes, especially one that's apart of camden!!! That's not even the worse... You don't even get your own parking spot! That's right you pay top dollar to live in uptown Dallas then in your own gated parking lot you don't have your own spot. So if you get home after 7 with groceries and your 1 year old child don't expect to have a parking spot, you will have to walk two blocks... And their solution to this is make you pay for a reserved spot and they only made 10 of them... Not enough for everyone! Also their will be cars parked in the fire lanes every night and in places that are not parking spots because again people don't want to walk two maybe three blocks to get to there apartment... So the complexes solution to this is to how your vehicle. So you better have someone ready to call because you will be paying 200 dollars to get your car back! Also keep on mind this place does not have on site security like they want to portray... They hire a outside company to come around and check the parking lots at night so they can tow residents, people that pay to live here's cars! The security guard is also a very unprofessional... He has been blasted on the camdenliving.com site for residents, he harasses female visitors and guest.,. We have personal had a friend complain that came over one night and it seems to be common. Like I said multiple renters have posted about it! He also likes to wear a lot of gold jewelry, pretty unprofessional and doesn't make you feel very safe! Overall this is the worst managed apartment complex ever.,. I will never live in another camden owned property again!

location

Likes and Dislikes: the parking situation is horrendous. if you're going to live here, live only in main building. you will be screwed if you live in any other building and don't wanna pay another $100+ for a garage. BTW, The Strata next door has an amazing move in special right now with 6 weeks free rent and ZERO parking issue.

I have only lived here four monthes and I only have a little under a year left and I am not looking foward to the end of my lease. The only small complaint I have is parking, its not like I cant park in the garage I just wish there was more parking behind my building (thats just me being lazy) 99% of the time it is quiet, the only time I have an issue is the little yappy dogs down the street but unless you're in the closet in my room or in the hall outside the apartment you cant hear them. That being said this is teh quietest apartment complex I have ever lived in. Walking home I could hear outside my neighbors door that they were having a loud party, but once your in your own apartment you cant hear anything this is a godsend for me. Basically I can go on and on, but I love this place! Steven was by far the best apartment rep I have ever met and am greatful he worked with us to get into the Belmont.

Likes and Dislikes: I love all of the great things there is to do here!! The grounds are very well kept and the office staff consistently keeps us all involved in community events. They are also very good at fixing any problems and listening if we as residents have a problem. I love love love how teh office is open 24 hours to use their printer or computers.

Soooo I honestly don't get why there are so many complaints about the change of management. UDR must have been Gods if Camden is so bad to ya'll. I personally love Stephen he is amazing and always takes care of any issues we have. The place could be safer yes but there will always be crime it happens, understand that and deal with it. The parking is not the best behind b and c I will give ya'll that, but the garage always has parking. People it wont kill you to walk. The appliances, ammenaties and grounds are nice and seem to be getting better everytime someone complains. The pools are beautiful and the gym is great. I happen to like the free tv, why anyone would complain is beyond me.... its free seriously stop whining. All of the crap that is "negative" is not that big of a deal when you stop and realize you're not paying "dallas" prices for a high rise condo. You're paying "dallas" prices for a nice community complex who actually tries to listen to their residents. Now I havn't moved out yet so let me be the first to say that if my opinion changes I will be the first to let you know I was wrong, but for now I say go for it. The place is nice especially for the location. One last note the maintenance people were not great at first, but they have made a big and better turn arround. Props to ya'll.

GREAT staff. Stephen is really welcoming and always has a smile on his face. Maintenance always responds quickly and the complex is kept up very well. Apartments are sizable for the cost. Great amenities and resident events. Location is spot on as it is walking distance from a lot of nightlife, restaurants, and food stores. Parking for visitors is kind of a pain since towing within the parking garage is STRICTLY enforced. Given the fact that there is a night security guard, there are quite a few car break-ins which always surprises me. A little noisy at night since the fire station is right down the road. Overall a great place to live!!

Likes and Dislikes: GREAT staff. Stephen is really welcoming and always has a smile on his face. Very unhappy since Camden took over the complex. Normally I do not write reviews online but the fact that the property is now emailing me asking me to go on these sites and write positive ones was just a tipping point. In short, amenities were taken away (visitor guest suite, free use of exec kitchen by pool) while rent was raised (they tried to raise mine almost 20% this past go-around while only giving me 7 days to decide). At the same time the quality of the complex has decreased - things like dangling Exit signs are common now when they weren't before. Also, their hired security can usually be found looking at facebook in the media lounge at night. The customer service is also an issue. I could not get out of my parking garage for work because my clicker was not working. A member of the office staff was apparently annoyed when he had to replace the battery (which took 30 seconds)because "We normally don't handle this kind of stuff till 10am man". Also there was an issue earlier this summer where a group of non-residents accompanied by a DJ crowded the second pool. Rather than make the DJ pack up and/or confirm residency with the crowd of people there, they actually called the police - the POLICE! - and had them boot everyone out including residents like myself who were sitting by alone listening to our ipods while laying out. As a young professional who pays a great deal of $$ to Camden each month in rent, I did NOT appreciate being treated like a 19 year old frat guy whose kegger had been broken up when I was just lying out by the pool at my own apartment. My advice: look elsewhere.

I find it very odd that the last 8 or so reviews in less then a few months span are all so positive. Anyone that actually lives here and is NOT a Camden employee would NEVER be so positive We live in the "new" town-home section that faces Garrett St. and can not wait until our over priced lease is up. There is constant noise from the construction of the new apartment buildings across the street and the view of the vagrant couple that sleeps at the church across the street nightly is tiresome. I won't even get into the theft and loud music from the pool that is a weekly occurrence. Take it from an actual resident and not the Leasing Staff, keep looking.

I have been here since it was owned by UDR. I do not think I will renew a third lease term, but I have overall enjoyed my stay here. At first things seemed a tad unorganized, but I'm sure that was bc of the property ownership changing at that time.

Before we moved to the...
Before we moved to the Belmont, we looked at the other apartment complexes in the area and most of them did not offer what Belmont offered as far as price and amenities and I'm talking about apartments which are next to the Belmont. Our apartment faces the Dallas skyline which is beautiful at night. We really like the design of the apartment and the size which is actually bigger than the apartments which run for a similar price. Our bathroom has double sink and there's a lot of storage space in the whole unit. The apartment is very modern and if you care about the environment then you might be interested into looking for a place here. Some of the coolest perks we get are the spacious gym, an LCD flat tv, two pools and a really nice lounge area that you can reserve for free for a personal event. My husband and I feel that this is by far the best place we have lived and for the location it has a decent price. We're located in one the most popular areas in town known as Knox-Henderson. We're close to really good restaurants, shops and the freeway. The residents are very courteous for the most part and management to me gets a five star for being very nice, willing to work with you and aware of your needs and wants as a tenant. I'm also very pleased with the maintenance crew, they really do an outstanding work and they respond to your request within the same day. Today, I submitted a request and they showed up in 45 minutes. I hope all theses great aspects of this place never change.

I actually like the location and the amenities. The 2 pools are nice. There should be a hot tub though. Also, parking is a nightmare. I can't park in my own lot after 9:00pm on weeknights because it is always FULL. And the garage is NOT convenient. Also, rent is a bit high for the location, level of safety, and size of apartments.

Have had an overall great experience living at the Belmont. A big part of that is having such a fantastic next door neighbor though as well. Belmont staffers may not always be able to get you what you want but if they can, they will. It's quiet for the most part, clean. Break ins used to be an issue but since security cameras have been installed, that has thankfully gone way down. There is still crime, as in any area and you need to take reasonable precautions.

I have lived at multiple Camden properties. I am so excited to live at this specific property for nwo. The location is great, amenities are nice, office and mainteance are awesome, and last but not least the apartments are so pretty inside. I have loved my neighbors (when I see them) It's worth every penny and I have already recommended friends to move here.
