It was a pleasure to tour sylvan 30 apartments when i was in town which im moving there next month, the lady that toured me (Kamitia Watson)was a blessing! Very nice customer service , hopefully coming back to move in , i love the area

My apartment is very nice and I got a nice view of the city. Thank you to Kamitia she was great. Any questions I had she answered quick. I came and got keys with no problem the process was smooth and fast.

Great tour
My tour was great with Kamitia. She explained the elevator situation to me. I’ve lived at properties with elevators and this is definitely a common issue. If you want to avoid it then don’t move into a property with elevators. Overall this is a beautiful property. Putting my application in.

Love my new apartment Kamitia was very fast with everything and so sweet. Can’t wait to decorate. We have a great view of the city. She has been such a great help with everything. She is very friendly and helpful.

I toured sylvan on 12/01 and Jordyn was absolutely wonderful to tour with. She was very detailed throughout the entire tour! I loved the view of unit 209 and being in across from many restaurants and a farmers market walking distance is wonderful!

Don't rent here when things need to get fixed in the apartment they don't we been complaining about the same problem since May and still don't get no solution. Instead rent keeps going up and "due to water bill" but it's the same people on the apartment doing the same routine every day and somehow. Every month keep going up and up and up. Elevator stay breaking down since I been there elevators been down 8 times. If anything they get a 4/10 because of the balcony view and of how spacious it is but besides that not worth it specially for a family

Apartments are improving on many things including grounds and how they communicate with residents . Maintience is always great and timely . I believe if this is kept up Sylvan Thrity will be great .

Ms. Kamitia was so helpful during my move in and answered all my questions. I am in between deployments and have a short gap back home and Ms. K provided all available options to ensure my move was smooth as possible.

I enjoy the community of people that live here and the staff is pretty helpful but the elevators are always down. Since I live on the 4th floor, it can be very difficult at times. Also, people within this community don't always keep the communal spaces clean, but the staff clean periodically.

From application process to move in, everything was very smooth. The apartment was nice, clean, and ready for move in. All of the staff was helpful in answering my new tenant questions. So far everything has been great! I'm happy with my move in decision.

Kamitia Watson was very helpful with my transfer from a one bedroom into a two bedroom. She was very thorough with my paperwork ensuring all documents were completed in a timely manner, which made the transition very smooth.

Very poor maintenance of the elevators in the building, they are out of service frequently, requiring you to walk up 12 half flieghts of stairs if you live on the 4th floor. we pay for services not render.

Great location with nice features and people. Friendly staff and neighbors. Office, gym, and pool are nicely kept up, but elevators go down and trash piles up. Generally a satisfactory place. Felt safe.

Avoid if you have small children or disabled. Do research before choosing Sylvan Thirty. The elevators never work, the staff have nonchalant attitudes. For the price of these apartments there could be a lot done to make this property better.

DO NOT LIVE HERE: After touring the complex, i was really excited about moving here and at the time, the office staff who was providing me a tour was super friendly and sold the community very well to me. I think from the start of my lease, it was off to a bad start considering i had the issue of trying to contact the staff about my move in date and nobody contacted me until the day of i was supposed to pick up keys, despite many many emails, calls, and voicemails that i left with the staff. They responded with an ultimatum (well you can either move in today, or i'll just cancel your application. - Kimi ) which made me contact Jessica, the district manager. Then, having to move up multiple flights (4th floor, no movers because i wasn't sure about my move in date and didn't schedule a service) of stairs because the elevators were down (for the first 4 months of me living here, and still go down from time to time.) really put a sour taste in my mouth from the jump. However, despite all this i still genuinely tried to be respectful to the front office staff and it just never seemed like i could say or do anything right. Having dealt with pipes bursting in units around me, elevators consistently being down, amenities being closed, gates and doors not working, and all 4 tires being stolen off of my car, it started to make me really feel unsafe living in this place that i pay a decent chunk of my monthly check to. On a personal note (which i'm unfortunately feeling the need to share), I was diagnosed with a chronic illness while living here which often limits my physical activity level. I am very worried about elevators constantly being down considering when i moved in, i had to do it alone and what that will look like when i have to eventually pack up and leave. It's already a hassle to muster up the strength to do this with groceries every time the elevator is down. And i know it was an issue for other people as well because i saw it in the google reviews where a gentleman shared he had congestive heart failure and lived on the top floor. I believe it if manipulative of the front desk staff to present a certain type of vibe and reassure the consistent functionality of certain amenities (Like the elevators, gates and doors) during the tour, and then completely drop the ball once you are trapped in a lease.

Terrible choice I made. I didn't look at the reviews and I could save myself from the terrible treatment here. Sometimes you have to think logically and not just stay here for the view but for what's really important such as communication, and what it's really worth.

Close to work, night life, downtown and friendly neighbors and staff!. Work orders are completed immediately. Maintenance is on site and work quick and professionally. Leasing office personnel are the best!

Homeless because of bad management- don't move here.
Do not move here. On February 20th, 2025 at about 1:00pm, I noticed water coming down from just about every part of the ceiling and walls, HVAC, etc. A sprinkler pipe burst, destroying Unit 340 along with all of the units above and below it. I lost everything in this situation- the elevators were all down, as usual, meaning I wasn't able to get my furniture out before it was damaged by the water. Kita Wallace, the property manager, promised to cooperate with me and my insurance. Instead, I was forced to evacuate as much of my personal property as possible, down 12 flights of stairs (so not much), within a few days so that they could have contractors work on the unit. I was offered no help with this effort. Shortly afterwards, contrary to her promises (in writing and over the phone), Kita forced me out and ended the lease. I am currently paying for hotel costs, out of pocket, and due to her mishandling, I am fighting with my insurance to make up the costs I have incurred. Bottom line: I am homeless now and on the hook for thousands of dollars, due to the neglectful conduct of Sylvan Thirty's building management, both leading up to the incident as well as afterwards. Check the Google review for videos of the flooding.

The elevators are consistently out of order. The parking garage is unsafe, with the gates often consistently left open to the public , this has resulted in multiple car break-ins. The hall ways floors are dirty and the walls are dirty. I would not recommend Sylvan Thirty apartments to anyone.

I am not happy with the apartment but the apartment location is convenient and the building is kept clean. The staff is friendly but they are not really useful for resolving issues. I definitely will not renew.

Very beautiful and busy community. It is so close to downtown Dallas without the busy city noise and everyone has been nothing but welcoming. There is plenty to do nearby and amenities within the community to engage with. I am nothing but pleased with sylvan thirty and my new home!
