The building I lived...

The building I lived in was very peaceful and had no issues. Overall a good expereince with the complex. Safety was my number one priority and I didn't expereince any issues during my stay.

AMLI was good for the...

AMLI was good for the year that I was there. It wasn't until renewal where we butted heads. They raised the rent by nearly 15%. They said, that was normal. This is not my first rodeo and this has NEVER happened, not to this extent. Other than that, the only issue which has nothing to do with AMLI is the traffic is terrible. The staff is friendly. The maintenance is AWESOME!

This is a good community....

This is a good community. But the staff does not have customer skills and are extremely arrogant. Randy is the worst of all. He makes racial comments and makes fun of your origin and skin color if you are not Caucasian. Billy is another POS. I have not dealt with others but the staff should be taught a lesson by someone before it gets nasty.

I have been a resident at Amli on Eldridge Parkway for the last 5 years and yes it s true that management has changed quite a bit since I first moved in. However, compared to some of the other reviews of other apartments, I can t say that I have had any issues-even with all the changes. I think Randy and Billy are both awesome individuals who are always willing to help. My two cons are not directed towards management more than directed towards residents (idiots), who choose to speed in the complex when speed limit signs are clearly posted. Obviously these are very selfish individuals that could care less about the possibility of any unseen person/child crossing their paths. Another con is the traffic in the area has become horrendous in the last couple of years. Due to the influx of new buildings/companies (Energy Corridor labeling) and residents in the area. Not to mention Amli is centrally located in the vicinity of three schools. Other than those two cons, NO issues with rats, bugs or roaches in last 5 years-which is totally awesome. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The entrance and exits to that place are death traps!!!! Seriously. The traffic is horrendous and there are numerous wrecks there, often. I am suprised no one has gotten killed. The maintenance, ahhh the maintenance, sure they are good about coming to fix things right away, but it takes them MULTIPLE TRIPS TO ACTUALLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM. POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP....Moving on...The staff is very unfriendly, particularly Randy. Their ability to financially manage things is horrible and disorganized! Particularly direct debit/auto pay should you need to move accounts. Keep your reciepts!!! The neighbors are very clickish...and if you are not accepted by the old group that lingers by the pool all day and night then you are outcast. Everyone there seems to be on a tight leash. The property is NOT child friendly. You have to be 16 to be in the pool, use the raquetball court, the gym or the internet cafe. There is not enough parking, and definitely not enough handicapped parking. There is no smoking by the pool. The plumbing is bad. I have had leaks and toilet problems. I've lived here on 3 different occasions and have been pleased for the most part. This last time i've had to sign short term leases due to my employment requiring frequent travel. my biggest complaints are the 2 months move out notice required(which is pretty much the norm for this area) and the ASTRONOMICAL increase in rent to go month to month. my current lease is coming up for renewal shortly and to go month to month increasing my rent almost $1000 a MONTH. my other complaints are the lack of parking and the hassle of entering and exiting the property. trying to get in and out of the complex can be quite aggravating and dangerous at times. i've suggested on several different occasions to management of switching from the card reader to a remote fob and also changing the north side entrance to an entrance and exit. "we'll pass your suggestion along" is the answer i get each time. if you can sign a long term lease then i would definitely consider renting here. friendly staff, quite neighbors for the most part, and very good maintenance response. if you are looking for short term lodging you might want to look… See More>

stop trashing AMLI on Eldridge

I have lived here for 2 years. I LOVE THE PLACE! The management has always responded to every single request. I also had a neighbor with two huge dogs who barked insanely since early morning including weekends. I spoke with Randy and he did everything possible and impossible to make it stop and IT DID! The neighbor was mad at me and gave me angry looks but I could sleep in on Saturdays and Sundays as long as I wanted. People who stomp their feet have nothing to do with management simply because they're not considerate. Management didn't purposely look for those who don't respect others. Maintenance is awesome and the guys do their job very well in less than a day. Whatever I asked for- and my wish was granted. I changed 2 microwaves, the screen door and many other things that weren't even questioned. The premises are clean, quiet and pleasant to walk around. The trash is taken care of. The stuff is friendly. If Randy wasn't available, Billy would always step in. By the way, my neighbor downstairs has a baby who cries at night. I don't go insane BECAUSE IT'S A BABY! howling dog and stomping upper neighbor. worst experience ever!

I lived at the AMLI for 1 year and it was the worst experience of my life. Above me I had a lady who stomped her feet so hard that the windows vibrated (this started when she moved in late October) and below me there was a dog that howled for hours everyday (I literally timed it on my phone and recorded it and sent to management). The office did absolutely nothing to fix the situation. I had to call the corporate office to even get someone to return my call! And it still wasnt rectified! This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had, and I absolutely will never rent from them again. This experience has convinced me to jump the gun and purchase my first home. I WOULD NOT RENT HERE! BEWARE!

Pros and Cons

I have lived at AMLI for a few years now, but here is the honest truth: Pros: 1) Quiet Complex! I have never heard a pin drop in my apartment. 2) Pretty kept lawns and sparkling pools. 3) Nice floorplans. 4) Great gym! One of the best in town. 5) Access gates consistently work. Cons: 1) Manager is VERY rude and UNFRIENDLY! 2) LOTS of break-in letters have been left on my door. 3) Pretty far out of town, you are almost to Katy, Texas when you live here, so be prepared to pay A LOT of money on toll fees if you need to go anywhere else in Houston. 4) EXTREME increases in your rent whenever you renew (could be as much as $300!). 5) Although the apartments have nice designs, there are not a lot of upgrades in the… See More>

WARNING! MORE CRIME, MANAGMENT POSTING FAKE REVIEWS.

Just more and more breaks ins and muggings here, single women, we must watch out because management does absolutely nothing about it but send out cheesy notices. NO increase in security or cameras or any type of upgrades. OH, and GET READY TO GET NAILED LIKE A CHEAP HORE WHEN YOU RENEW ..... INCREASE OF 100.00 bucks per month! STAY AWAY from this ------ place, DO NOT RENT HERE, it's simply too dangerous and you can find better deals out there.

The Eclipse on Eldridge is much better and only about $100 more a month. AMLI has rasied the rent since lat year keep looking

Wonderful apartments

I have lived at Amli for 2 years and have had no real issues. The only thing I would say is that they are raising the rent each year. I am now paying $900 for a 1/1! But the area is worth it

Great place to live!

My neighbor told me about this website and how someone is trashing AMLI. I am here to let you know the truth. These apartments are really nice and they are well maintained. So what is there are many different cultures living here? This is Houston! I love living here and you are considering moving here you can contact me with any questions and I will tell you the truth. Also the person who said about the so called "rape" My other neighbor is a police officer and I can assure you that never took place here. You do have to make a certain amount of money to live here and I can see how some will be turned away and make up lies online.

Love these apartments!

I just moved into AMLI and I love them, Not only are the apartments gorgeous the location is beautiful and I am very happy. I have a 1 bedroom 1 bath and it is big compared top the other ones I looked at on Eldridge. I love the over sized tubs and gourmet kitchen. The apartments are well maintained and the parking is spacious. One thing I did not like was the cost for a garage ($100/ Month) that seems high. I lived at the Marquis and only paid $50/month

True review for AMLI

The apartments are nice the location is great there is plenty of parking and it is pretty quiet. The cons are the management and maintenance people they really need a lesson in customer service get off your high horse you work for US. Other than that the place is worth it. All these bad reviews are the bottom fish making up lies

Best location in Houston, NICE apartments

I have to agree with the last review. Apartments on Eldridge Parkway are getting bad reviews from people who have been denied or evicted. I have lived at AMLI and they are exquisite apartments. The location is the best kept secret in West Houston, you can't get a much better location. I did not have any bad experiences the only one was person in the office there but I think she is gone, There will always be rude people don't let it bother you

Luxury Apartments on Eldridge DO NOT Listen to these reviews

I moved into these apartments about 6 months ago. People do not indulge and take these BAD reviews with grain of salt. The apartments are nice and spacious. It was is very quiet and everyone minds their own business. The location is great and the surroundings are spectacular. The apartments come with W/D Full gourmet kitchen roman soaking tubs ceiling fans built in computer desk huge walk in closets easy to clean carpet alarm system Private balcony and storage if needed. Everyone on here that wrote a bad review have probably been turned away (trash people) or got evicted from the apartments. The management team are helpful and respond when you need something. I will extend my lease with AMLI next year!

hate to leave

I started off on the 3rd floor, and had to move due to knee surgery. I loved my Eldridge view and I love my pool view now. I m only leaving because in 2 years they have gone up on my rent 158.00 which is not cool, but thats another story. It s a great property, very clean and thick walls, nice neighbors, and is a family community without children running wild. I have lived in a one bedroom for 7 years here and I really hate to go. I wish I could stay but the rent has just gotten too high for me, I actually think they raise the rent to keep a certain class of people out, and it s a good thing, but not for me :-) I would recommend this property to anyone singe, or with children. The staff is nice and very professional at all times. My favorite is the property and how clean it always it. ~Sincerely A real resident~

MORE BREAK INS AND RAPE! DO NOT MOVE HERE >> HELP!

This place is full of 3rd world garbage as most of Houston is! 4 or 5 of these animals to an apartment. The result .... nothing but robberies and rape. Please stay away from these animals and this place, it is horrible and ------.

BEST STAFF!!!! BEST MAINTENANCE! BEST NEIGHBORS!!

I have lived in lots of places in my 30 years on my own and this is by far the best place i have ever been.....best management team, best office staff, best maintenance ever. my 8 year old dachshund and i feel very safe here. i highly recommend it!!!

In my honest opinion...

Because people do post false things on this site, here is the link to the Houston Police Department website. http://www.houstontx.gov/police/cs/beatpages/cs20g80.htm . This link will take you directly to the crime statistics for this property. Having lived at other AMLI communities, I do know that they put out notices regarding crime happening on the property. If you would look at the report, you can see exactly what happens for any address at any property. Now for the review: The staff are nice, and take care of their tenants. Maintenance is amazing due to their 48 hour service guarantee, and the property is well kept. Crime can happen anywhere and living outside a city as large as Houston, there is no denying that. But do your research before you beleive angry residents that post hateful remarks.
