Since I moved in to Lakeview in 2013 my experience has fantastic. The only issue I've had my whole time was my ac going out which they fixed that day. Its nice living at an apartment where they care about you.

I have had a wonderful experience at Lakeview and hope to continue my residency here for a long time. I am thankful for the management, maintenance and the beautiful pool and workout facilities. The lake is awesome and the jogging trail around the lake is awesome also. The manager was calculating how many times around the track to equal one mile. Totally impressed that she took time to find this out, great information.

I have been living there for a year now and I must admit I feel like I was lied to. Its like once I signed the lease they could care less about my feelings, concerns and the fact that I am uncomfortable in my own home. They don't check with the tenants to make sure they are complying with the lease agreement. I am very excited that my lease will be up soon so I can move. The staff is pretty cool, nice ladies in the office. The Lake is beautiful , so I believe this could be a nice place to live if you had honest and respectable neighbors. (Somebody lied on the lease).

I have been living at Lakeview for about 5 years now. Things were much better before the manager, Jennifer, went on vacation. The other workers,Lisa, Tasha, Nicole, and the rest are so rude. You walk into the office and you see them grouped around talking and laughing so loudly in an unprofessional manner. It takes maintenance a long time to respond to work orders, and when they show up, they are so sloppy. They are so disorganized and do things anyhow ever since Jennifer went on vacation. They complex has also become very noisy with people playing loud music in their cars and in their homes. Hopefully, things will be better again once Jennifer returns. For the amount of money we are paying for this place (which by the way is very old- old appliances too) we deserve better. If I don't see any improvements, I will move out by the end of my lease.

I have lived here for over 2 years because I didn't want to change my son's school; however, the appliances are very old and restored. For the price I am paying to live here can we have better gym equipment a printer in the "Business Center" and over all better appliances. My washer and dryer are about 20 years old. The wall outlets are not sturdy which makes it hard to use any electric appliances. The office staff is nice, until there is a problem which requires for them to work. I have to place a work order monthly to have something repaired. Overall, the rent is to high for what you are paying for. The units need to be UPGRADED!!!!

Hello my name is secret, I have lived at lakeview apartments for over 3 1/2 years and I must say it has been great to us. Our apartments are very spacious and roomy and the attach garage doesn't hurt either. We found these apartment in 2010 and never looked back they won us over with the gorgeous scenery along with lake and the trail that really gives a resort feel. I would highly recommend lakeview apartments to everyone and we have also to our family and friends. Everyone loves for us to throw gathering at our home due to it fits a lot of people and we are able to party as long as we want while respecting our neighbors because it is just like having your own home

I have been at Lakeview since I moved to Houston July 2012. I initially was in a 1 bed, 1.5 bath with a den (aprx 1100sqft); It was nice but too big for just my dog and I. I moved to 1 bedroom, 1 bath (aprx 900sqft), after my initial 7 month lease. I think this place is decent for the low price. As far as security, i've seen a security guard walking around a few times and usually see their car. But, i'm sure they don't catch everything since I have got notices periodically about nearby burglaries. I love having an attached garage and the walking path around the lake is awesome if you have a dog. Other than that, i've met some of my neighbors and they seem nice never too loud even in the smaller downstairs apt i'm in currently. The maintenance guy responded to phone call at 12:30am when I accidentally locked my keys in the apt and came and let me in for $50. Recently, I left for the weekend and turned the a/c to 78degF came back 3 days later and there was mold in all the vents, called to tell management and they weren't able to fix it till Tuesday. Although, they did a good job cleaning the a/c and ventilation system since I pulled the vents and checked myself after they came. If you don't want to pay $$$$, you have a pet, and don't mind the area, I would recommend Lakeview Apts. Not saying it's the greatest apartment complex ever but for the price I pay, I can't complain.

By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and the number one problem is the bipolar property manager ------------. From day one I should have known something didn't seem right. The leasing agents or management will never let you see the unit you want to move into until the day you sign your lease. They do it to every prospect tenant claiming the unit is occupied. They are full of it. Units sit empty in this complex for months. They know the units are in poor condition and do everything to hide it. The entire complex only has two people who do repair work and they are overworked and treated poorly. Expect four days to get anything fixed and more likely than not it will be temporarily rigged so you will stop complaining. If you try to address issues about safety or repairs with the manager she will do nothing other than say you are threatening her and demand you leave her office. I never threatened the management or even used a curse word. -------- likes to brag she bought a house and if you don't like the complex you should do the same. I can not say much for the leasing agents because none of them last more than three or four months. The nicest girl they ever had working as a leasing agent got fired as soon as she got pregnant. Yes, the morals of this company are nil. More about the complex itself. The pool is closed every Monday. They do not tell you than before you move in. Very unusual for an apartment complex to close the pool an entire day out of the week. The complex experiences frequent break ins. The majority occur between 9 am and noon Monday thru Friday during work hours. The management is well aware of this problem. The units most frequently broke into are along the fence line however units on the lake have been broke into as well. After being tipped off by one of my neighbors I found out that my unit had been burglarized three times prior to moving in during the last two years. We knew we were leaving at the end of our lease from about six to eight weeks after we moved in. Here are the problems with my individual unit. Water coming in during rainstorms on three different windows. Leaking ceiling in two rooms living room and one bedroom. Oven did not work could not keep constant temperature. Dryer had to run two hours to dry a single load of laundry. Upstairs extremely hot while downstairs freezing cold in some spots. We frequently lost power even during a simple afternoon rainstorm. Expect to lose power here sometimes three or four times per week. In a one year period the complex lost power close to twenty times. Two of those times was over 12 hours. Just to give you a run down my water bill was between 65-70 dollars per month and my electric was between 180-280. The average was about 220. The complex management and leasing staff will tell you around 100 per month is the average. No way that is possible. On a final note they require a sixty day move out notice which I gave. They informed me about a week before I gave notice that my rent was going to increase from 1174 per month to 1300 per month at the end of my lease. I would say to potential tenants do the following. Do not move here without seeing the unit first. If they don't let you inside at least check the ground level windows outside for damage if you are seriously considering moving here to see if your unit has been broke into. Most of the thieves break the glass. Unlock the window locks in the center of the window and climb right in or they crowbar the bottom. It is actually easy to spot if you look. As for the management company your number one problem is ------------. She is impossible to have a conversation with in a civil manner. If you want to save your complex from total ruin get rid of her and hire more maintenance people. One more thing FM 1960 has seen some what of a rise and fall. There are a few other complexes in the immediate area that have been recently remodeled. I wouldn't tell someone to avoid the area totally as much as I would tell them to shop around. The schools in this area are not the greatest but the area is very convenient to those working in and around George Bush International Airport.

Apartment management has become more responsive now that they have replaced the former manager. Management has recently obtained the services of a licensed security company that proactively patrols the complex. Management is actively enforcing the rules included within the resident's contract with the management. Loitering is no longer tolerated. Management is now making an effort to eliminate the rowdy and unruly residents.

I think Lakeview Apartments is a wonderful place. I especially enjoy my attached garage to protect my car. The Lakeview is very clean for size volume of people. Its almost like they are angry if they see paper on the ground and out comes a group of maintenance workers to sweep the landscape clean. People that work here are courtesy professional. I am recommending Lakeview to all my friends and associates.Normally when my friends and associates come over the are very interested in knowing all about Lakeview.

Resident Referrals
First I want to say that Lakeview pay referals directly to the resident's management will send you a check in the mail. When a resident break their lease of course they get very upsept and out of angry say things very bad about the staff members of the property......not thinking that in the future they may come back to the same property. I just want to say that I have been living at Lakeview for more than 15 years I know the staff very well never have a problem with them. I always read my contract before I sign it, that's what everyone should do when move in or sign a lease. The person that is getting a lawyer I feel sorry for her or him! need to know Lakeview policy first!!!!! I hope the everyone have a happy holidays......
