Overall Mockingbird Apartments is a great family or single place to live. The pool is lovely in the summer. The staff is awesome. The maintenance is always so nice and sweet. Just a great place to live overall.

Nice apartments that we have enjoyed (for the most part) living at. Originally when we moved in there seemed to be a lot of vacant units, since they have filled up however, parking has become an issue, as well as the "quality" and appearance of the community. If you enjoy the smell of marijuana then you may like it here.

My experience has been a pleasant one here at thia apt complex. The apts are so very nice and clean, a few steps up from others. The staff is really nice and inviting. They made sure everything was in good shape for me before i moved in.

Nice spacious rooms with huge windows! Washer and dryer hook ups! Nice floor plans! Management and staff very helpful, and professional!! The only thing I am disappointed is you have to have cable instead of satillight, unless you want to fork over another $1000.00 deposit!!!

I absolutely HATE THIS PLACE!!!! I HAVE A PREGNANT WIFE WHO IS DIABETIC AND A 5 YEAT OLD WITH ASTHMA. I HAVE CALLED ABOUT MY HORRIBLE AC SINCE WE MOVED IN 6 MONTHS AGO. THEY SHORT CUT EVERYTHING. WE NEED A BRAND NEW AC UNIT AND THEY REFUSE TO HELP US. HOW SHALLOW!! ITS SO BAD WE CALLED THE POLICE LAST NIGHT BECAUSE WE RAN OUT OF OPTIONS. NEXT STEP IS VICTORIA ADVACATE AND LET EVERYONE KNOW TO NEVER WVER LIVE HERE AT MOCKINGBIRD LANE APARTMENTS!!!!

Mockingbird lane apartments are a great community. I would like if they update their office numbers. Its very hard to get in contact with the office by phone. Overall they are a great community. Mrs. Susan is amazing.

My experience at this place has not been good wouldn't recommend still to anybody been having AC problems since I moved in made it clear that there's not air being blown in my back 2 rooms ceiling fans don't help feels like it's just blowing hot air around and my unit reaches into the 80's when the sun is beaming down and at night gets down maybe to 73 the lowest and that's cause I have it on 69 that should say a lot of I wasn't in a lease I would've left a long time ago my other apartment was not all like this and that's with all doors closed apartment still got cold

This community is a place to live. It's quite and clean, the staff is awesome. If you need anything there available to help you. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's also close to the transit if you don't have transportation. The yards are beautiful there's a pool, community center. I hope to see you soon.

The community at Mockingbird Lane Apartments is quiet and very clean the yard around the community stays cut and trees and bushes stay trimmed. My children have room to play outside and there is even a pool.

It's a Very quiet community, well maintained and very spacious. In between an elementary and middle school (walking distance). High school is very close as well just 2 min away. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful.

So far so good. We've only lived here about a week, but we haven't encountered any issues. Anything that has been brought to managements attention has been promptly attended to. Seems to be a nice quiet neighborhood.

My living experience has been fine. I myself have never had any problems. The maintenance experience not so great. Maintenance responds quickly but nothing gets completed. Also there is a very bad bat problem.

Tenants being allowed to break the rules, but at the same time turning you in for loud music at 2 in the afternoon. Most of the exterior lights on building don't work. Bathroom vanity falling apart and was denied for repair.

POST-HURRICANE REVIEW: We are now going into December and since the hurricane came through 3 months ago all they have done is strip out the apartments. Not one thing has been done to fix the apartments. Plastic for ceilings. Roofs with tarps still on them. Interior walls that are not there. Carpet has been removed as well as the linoleum floors. Trying to use the AC on hot days or heat on cold nights is useless because the AC/heater can't keep up since the plastic ceilings do not insulate anything. Whenever we ask someone when they are going to fix things, all we hear is, "We don' know". Most people have either moved out of their own volition or have been told to leave. The office staff here is not to blame. They are nice people who are as frustrated as most of the remaining tenants. One lives on the premises as does one of the maintenance people. The management office is in Florida and they are controlling everything. Apparently they had hired workers from Florida to come fix the place up, but then they found out those workers were not licensed in Texas. I would think one of the first things you check on when hiring someone would be their credentials. They do claim that everything in the apartments (refrigerators, stoves, etc.), after they are fixed up, will be new. The question is, when will they be fixed up? Obviously I can not recommend this place as it is right now. Before the storm I would have. Once they are fixed I may recommend them if what they said is true.

Friendly staff and neighbors. Prescreening application was fairly easy and quick and being able to get into your apartment was fairly quick as well. Community is very nice. The schools are close by and it makes it that more convent for myself and my husband.

When I came to apply to Mockingbird Plaza Apartments, the staff was very polite. The manager made an appointment for my friend and I to take a tour of the property. Even after we moved in the staff continued to be polite.

I do feel safer during there day than at night because maintenance does drive around the apartment complexe.I do have caring lvn neighbor's that help out and are very friendly towards me and my children it's very curtious to have neighbor's

The staff is friendly and courteous. Responds to maintenance calls even in the middle of the night to make sure it's not an emergency where they need to come out or send someone out immediately. Staff ensured apartment was clean and ready to move into on time.

If you don't like to barbeque then,If you have no problem with kids leaving trash by your apartment fill out an application. If you can't afford brand new furniture then don't bother filling out an app because I was told I can't have used furniture in mine.

We have lived here for over a year and a half and No maintenance Ever gets completed. I have had to fix things myself. I.E. the garbage disposal broke a hole, so we could not use that half of the small sink or else water leaked through the hole. A "service order" was made, but after two months of wasting for someone from the Mockingbird Apartment complex to fix it,I decided to fix it myself and had to invest my own money into something that want mine, but my family needed, because one small sink wasn't enough. The lighting in our second still doesn't work, we have to use a lamp, because the electrical in the room shorts or the bulbs within seconds and/or didn't turn on at all at times. Also, if you have loud neighbors, don't bother calling the complex, because No One will ever show to tell your neighbors to turn down their surround. Your better of calling the police...

I found this apartment complex just to be perfect for my family. It is right next to a elementary that my kids go to school. And next to the middle school for when they grow up. The apartment is spacious enough for all of my furniture and belongings. I have found this apartment complex to fit all my needs for my family.

Went to apartments to visit a friend. I enjoyed the grounds. Very nice. Went to office to get information about complex and found the manager to be very sweet and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions that I had.
