I would not have considered a traditional apartment. But this place is 62 yrs old and up and for the most part that is a real plus. My kids found the place and were in awe of the newness of everything.They were right. Some of the folks here have a bit too much time on their hands. My mother's favorite quote was, "Idle hands make fretful minds." So take any complaints with a grain of salt. We have Continental Breakfast Monday thru Saturday. The food is pre-cooked and we just warm it up. The Residents work together in the mornings to help anyone who may be a little less "capable" than others. It is a nice way to start the day and a much nicer offering than before when it was truly just Continental Breakfast. There are lots of things to do. Some are up my alley and others are not which is fine. The hair salon in the building is a nice plus. The hair dresser is very sweet and does a good job. This is my first experience with tankless water heaters. The water isn't instantly hot but does get plenty warm enough. It is nice that I am not paying to heat 55 gallons of water all day long. Rent here isn't the cheapest that I found. But I have no regrets about my choice. The current employees are hard workers who try and follow the rules and make sure we are all good neighbors. The place isn't perfect but no where that I have been ever has been. I am happy here and plan to stay unless my kids move away with my grandbabies.

Pool has not been available all summer. Cleanliness of building 2 is not as good as when I moved in a few weeks ago. Breakfast is poor. Intercom for letting guests into the building is not working. Activities for residents has been poor - e.g., a trip to Trader Joe's should not be considered an activity for an active adult - but may be improving a bit.

Very nice, modern, clean, well-appointed apartments for retirees, with a variety of sizes and floor plans and with many nice features, like the gym and movies and social activities,and for fairly reasonable costs.

My wife and I have lived at Overture Fair Ridge for one year and are very satisfied with the facility and the excellent staff. The condition of the facility is immaculate. The grounds and gardens are well designed and maintained.

I did not have hot water in the apartment upon my move in. It took two weeks and the problem has only been partially resolved. I continue to have no water in the bathroom and shower, but non in the kitchen, dishwasher and sink No response from management to my inquiries for correction, although the maintenance manager has done all he could himself, it appears to be management indecision. Other aspects of lack of response are as follows. I have asked management for available options to pay monthly rental, specifically by auto recurring deduction by my bank itself rather than Greystone debiting my account directly through access to that account. It seems I had no option. Also, I asked clarification regarding the specific web site to use for apartment related communications, as confusion exists because I have been directed to use different online sites or methodology by email communications besides Overture portal tself leading up and upon signing the lease, making deposit, and paying rent and other fees. Further, the passwords I establish do no result on subsequent occasions.I also receive monthly mailings to pay the bill, including a processing fee, by return receipt as if the designated bank debit payment procedure is not in effect. I have asked for discussion and clarification of these matters, also without response.

No one would make the mistake of coming here if you shared my review. Mr. Daniel is the saving grace here. Having said that, it has great amenities and ambiance, its the management thats inconsistent and inconsiderate.

This is a place for Walking Dead white People. No relevance to 62+. Their advertising is a fraud. The food is horrific. The wine is swill. There is no investment in the residents. Management is remote and unconcerned.

In The beginning I was not too sure as how this apartment would work out for me. However after move-in I realized that the staff is wonderful very helpful and always there for me. I enjoyed staying here

It has everything you could want and then some. I am looking forward to enjoying all of them. Where else could you get breakfast, free coffee, a shuttle van, activity/exercise instructors, hot tub, pool, and Happy Hour?
