Great . Easy access to airport and shopping centers. Management great. But need visitors parking. Need carpet replaced in every apartment every 4 years. General cleaning of apartment one times in five years

I'll say it's the best place to live. There customer service is great and they also understand their customers problems and I definitely recommend its a great place for kids and am sure for everybody. The area is so quite and peaceful. The bed rooms are big and it has a good site of views. I also like to thank for all staff member for their good welcoming to us to this place. Thank u

Home is where the heart is

I have been here at the community now for 5 years along with most of my neighbors we absolutely love it here!!! Perhaps the last person whom commented were either asked to leave for nonpayment I assume and just have a bit of a sour taste in mouth.. The staff are awesome in fact there have been evenings they've stayed to assist their own maintenance staff for inspections or working side by with contractors to get things spuced with in the property. No one in the right mind would renew their contract for any type of product if they weren't satisfied..... Call into the office to find out their openings you will be hearing the same as you are reading... we are not leaving we love it here... If an opening were to be open take that opportunity perhaps we will meet up in a social event these awesome staff put together with the neighboring apartment community as well... what other community opens their heart to another???? Yes its defientely where the heart is I love it here......

I just moved in and i love it here

Its a nice place. The staff is very helpful and the community is very nieghborly. I love the gazebo and picnic area in the back, its like a little courtyard and is beautiful. I visited the property a couple years ago and didn't rent, but now with all the renovations and new changes its a totally different property. <br><br>Along with the leasing staff the maintenance staff is great too!

Alright

Well from the rating it looks as though it doesn't rate well, its a place to live is how I see it. I do like the size of the master bed-room, I haven't seen any other place with this size and at this rate. <br><br>They could work a little more on having the snow cleaned on when you need to get in an out of the complex, an I don't mean the side walks I mean the parking lot its self, because when it snow or there is ice you have to shovel half of the parking yourself, they don't do that at least not in all the years I've been here. they seem to always be in need of staff for maintaining for things like this, and in the spring and summer just the basic daily maintence of things. Oh yeah they have some people that due the lawn care at the begining of the seasons change, and thats about it. oh well. need to buy a house then you don't have to worry about what they don't do, or how they do it.

when beds bugs attack

moved in at the beginning of dec and ready to move out. the apartment is nice and new cabinet and kitchen app.,BUT the first week we saw spider, roaches, silver fish and BED BUGS. Mess up our whole christmas holiday, couldn't get a tree or put any present in the apartment. Afraid that it would get infested. Now we are unable to sleep in the bed we just bought two weeks ago. I would move a dog or cat into those apartments and the staff doesn't care about the people in the complex, just the thousands of dollars they make a month.

YES nice place to live !!!

I dont know how it was like at the Dulles Aparment's in the past years,but I've been here since April of 2006,and I LIKE IT HERE !.THE STAFF IS EXELLENT!!,VERY KIND AND COURTEOUS.If you dont like kids, then dont get a aparpment near the playground.If you have kids,Its a great place to live,your kids will have new friends to play with.I have two little ones of my own.THE MAINTENANCE STAFF,VERY FRIENDLY .I haven't been to the pool much,because Ive been so busy, but I like the fact that there a little pool for tot,s and a lager pool for adults.It seems pertty safe here as well.If your looking for a place to live while your finishing college or before getting a house of your own,or even just looking for a large apartment,this it the place to be.YES, I would recommend this place to live!<br><br>P.S I HAVE TO SAY IT AGAIN,GREAT STAFF,MOVE THE ASSISTANT MANAGER TO MANAGER ,SHE HELPED ME OUT THE MOST,EXELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.EXELLENT MANAGER AS WELL!.<br>

It could be better

Its not so bad but, this place really does have too many kids. I am convinced that the income qualification is done using funny math. It is the only way to explain some of the people who have been granted access approval or the large number of kids. The garbage bin is a real problem. You cannot ever put garbage in it without there being a couple of days worth of garbage in there. There is no way there is a 4 day trash pick up. But for the price it is a great location and hopefully, the new construction in the area will make this place step up to the plate. One big problem is people who hang laundry from their balcony. Why isn't this dealt with. We all have dryers in our apts and I do not want to live in the ------.

Could be worse

My family and I have lived here for 2 years and based on our experience, I would only recommend this complex to someone with very limited options. On the down side: The office staff is courteous but often incompetant. They often confuse dates for service calls or can't answer questions. There seems to be a recurring bug problem. The grounds seem to have fallen into further disrepair during the years we've lived here. The volleyball net was splintered and broken for half the summer last year and the playground is an absolute joke. I think it's wrong for them to advertise as having a tot lot at all. Also, their workout room is pathetic. They don't even have a treadmill and their hours are severely limited. On the plus side: the maintenance staff is very consciencious. They clean the parking lots and lawn areas daily, which is a much needed service. The office hosts a handful of community events every year, including a yard sale, a pool party and a visit from the easter bunny. The apartments do seem a little larger than others within the price range.<br>The bottom line: if you're willing to sacrifice community for a few extra square feet, or if you just need a place to crash and don't mind all the kids, then go for it. If you HAVE kids, or expect to use ammenities like the pool or weight room, look elsewhere. We're moving at the first available opportunity.

Great Place To Live

First of all I am a little troubled by the bad comments received. I have been living here for 2 years with my husband and children and I love it. The parking is not a big issue...I find even at crowded times i may have to walk across the street to get to my apartment, big deal! I guess society has gotten so lazy walking across the street or getting out of your car to go inside McDonalds is too much exercise. The staff has been nothing but courteous and understanding especially at a time of family emergency when he hit a financial snag, they were more than understanding. Darlene is the best property manager I have ever met and I have lived many places where people tell you to your face they don't care. She has gone above and beyond our expectations and treated us like not only a landlord but a friend. Visitor parking is a gravel lot in front which I am partial to but I also don't think visitors should park in our lot anyway especially to those who are complaining already about not finding a space.

Horrible Worst Staff Ever!

I just contacted the staff with a question/concern and they were very rude and incompetent. I feel like the staff has given up on customer service. I am aware that this is low-income housing, but I don´t think that we should be treated any differently. We still get up and go to work every day and work very hard. Don´t move here! You´ll regret it everyday for the term of your lease.

Don´t move in here

I have lived here since Feb. of this year, with my girlfriend. I can´t stand this place, it really sucks. When it snowed a lot this year, they did not have anyone plow the streets, if you didn´t have a shovel you were walking everywhere, or using your hands and feet to get your vehicle out. Parking is atrocious, first come first serve, usually by about 5:00 o´clock, you can almost bet you will be parking quite a ways away from your apartment. The walls are extremly thin, you can hear your neighbors walking around in there apartment above you. The stupid kids in the neighborhood, don´t have an adequate playground, so they play in the street, and hit your car occasionally with their balls. The wonderful staff that works here, DOES NOT return your phone calls when you leave them messages. I can´t wait until the lease is up so that we can move, because I don´t really want to break the lease, but strongly considering it. In closing I would just like to advise you not to move in here, unless you can´t do anything better. <br>

This is my first apartment. The rent is affordable for the area, primarily because of income restrictions. The comment about noise being a problem is pretty much a complaint about the noise of the children. I agree that this is obnoxious, but it´s not a problem of the Apartment Homes or the management. Kids will make noise. Close your windows. Get over it. The units are energy efficient and you get high-speed internet. The parking is not assigned but is adequate. After about seven or eight pm parking gets a little tighter. I find that I have to walk ten to fifteen spaces to get to my home. No biggie. One thing, I have had problems getting responses from the management/leasing office. I call and get NO ANSWER even during business hours. I leave several messages, and get no answers. This is frustrating. ALSO Visitor Parking is a joke. It´s a gravel pit a block from your apartment. <br> <br>However, there is a maintenance man named Kliff who is the nicest guy in the world. This place is worth the money, it´s just not luxury housing. The previous poster had unrealistic expectations.
