St. Johns Wood Apartements is one of best apartment I ever lived in my life. It is warm, clean, and just feels like a home. The staffs are kind, nice and support your need. The overall conditions and values from your rent is very worthful.

Great management that makes it feel like home. Reston's best kept rental secret! Donna and Eddie are fabulous! Apartments are well designed and maintained. Safe and convenient location. My only regret is that I wish I had moved in sooner, instead of wasting money and time at other properties in DMV.

So far, this has been an incredible experience. I haven't lived in a apartment complex in over a decade (owned my home), but because of a work relocation, I decided on an apartment over looking for a home. i just couldn't get make house hunting work. I chose St. John's Wood, sight unseen. I was a little worried, but those worries were unfounded. I made the right choice here! The place is great, and Donna and Eddie are extremely helpful.

The St. Johns Wood experience can be improved first by having a staff that particular cares about their tenets. Wanda in the office is very rude every time I come in, I had called earlier today to ask about the pool by our place. I asked when it is going to be open and she replied, "Let me check, it will be opened tomorrow." Because of the sign that says "Closed Monday's open 11am-8pm" I inquired about why it wasn't open on a Wednesday. She replied, "It will be open tomorrow." Then I asked will it be open the day after tomorrow since it is closed today, and she replied, "It will be open tomorrow." She was very rude, and she did not answer my question, she only had one answer, seemed very uneducated in her answers, and did not care to make sure that that was the correct answer. How hard it is to say, "I don't know." Or "Let me get back to you on that." ? Not very hard. I understand what we all have bad days but she has been rude since the day I moved in two months ago, I'm sorry she has bad days a lot. So, when is the pool going to be open for the full week since Wanda doesn't want to answer my question? We also went to the pool today and many many people came in without pool passes. I waited until I was DRY before I entered the office area to notify one of associates in the office, mind you I was DRIED off carrying my towel, NOT DRIPPING ANYWHERE. I can understand my hair was damp and she probably thought I was dripping, but while on my way to talk to Adriana, Wanda chirps up in the MIDDLE of HER OWN phone call and tells me repeatedly that I cannot come in the office, "like that." I'm sorry, like what? How offensive and ignorant can you be. Out of all the RULES this places enforces "dry" floors is one of them? Please. I was fully clothed, DRY, and my hair was a little wet. I don't contact the office very often, but please, oh God please put her through an etiquette course. Also, there NEEDS to be monitoring at the pools because kids let kids in and people let their whole families in that don't live here. So why am I paying $800 a month for an amenity of a POOL that I cannot swim in because 20 people WHO DON'T PAY ANYTHING get to swim in and take up the whole pool? Hire a cop to monitor, invest in your work place for Christ's sake. The only "office" friendly faces I have come across are the handy mans. Give them Wanda's paycheck because they actually work and answer people's questions. I would like to be contacted and KNOW that this situation is being taken care of.

Many lovely things to say about this complex. BUT, if you have a large dog above you as I do, you're in for a rough ride and may end up needing to move. 24/7 my neighbors use their apartment above me as a dog run for their Lab mix. Running, crashing, ball throwing. Day and well into the nite. Early morning on weekends. So bad, pictures fall off my walls. Neighbors response, "Nothing we can do." So, wise to ask, if you'll be moving into a unit with a dog above you.

The buildings are something like 20 years old, but management does a good job of keeping up the exterior. The apartment complex is fairly quiet; the only noise problem is that the floors creak loudly. Some apartments come with a wood burning fireplace. Management provides free wood for the fire places. There are nearby walking paths and a shopping center is within walking distance as well. The interiors are less than modern, but you get what you pay for. Newer complexes in Reston cost more. The staff really try to keep the community a nice, clean, quiet place.

St. Johns Wood is a quiet community, convenient to many Reston amenities, walking trails, and the new Reston Metro. The apartments are good sizes and have nice features including full size washer and dryer in unit. The management team is friendly and helpful with service requests and other assistance when needed.

Cozy apartment living in a quiet, but excellent neighborhood. Live in the woods, but be close to city amenities such as shopping, entertainment, and more! Easy access to major routes. 15 minutes to the airport, Tyson's or Fairfax Corner!

My experience with St. Johns Wood Apartment Community was fantastic. I was relocating jobs and had a short timeframe to make a decision. They respected my time and showed me the complex over a lunch period. They answered all my questions both on-line and in person completely. The management team is professional and friendly. The grounds are kept beautifully and service is quick to respond. I am glad I made my choice to move here.

St. Johns Wood is a conveniently located apartment community in the lovely Reston. It is only about 2 miles from the popular Reston town center, which is filled with dining, shops, and community events. Directly across Reston Pkwy is the North Point Village Center which has a Giant Supermarket, Starbucks, minor eateries, bank atms and a Sunoco. St Johns Wood is easily accessible to major highways including route 7, 267, and now the Wiehle Metro station. St Johns is surrounded in a quiet, wooded area with many trails, walking paths, parks, and pools. I highly recommend the St Johns apartment community to anyone looking to settle in Reston.

If I had it to do over again I would have never signed the lease. I am looking forward to the end of my lease in 10 months. The apartment is expensive for what it is. The sales force is OK but the maintenance is terrible mainly because of the manager thinks he knows more than the tenant.

SJW is an excellent community and my wife and I have really enjoyed living here. It is convenient to everything in Reston, close to major commuting lines, the facilities are beautifully maintained and the resident staff very accommodating. There is no reason to look elsewhere.

St Johns Wood is centrally located in Reston, VA. It is close to Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, and Giant. It's ideally located approximately 1.5 miles from the Reston Town Center where you'll find a myriad of upscale dinning venues and fashionable clothing stores, coffee shops and high-end vendors. It is surrounded by numerous hiking and bike trails trails, and the W&OD Trail runs through itm The commuting options stream from biking the WO&D to work, to driving down Rts. 7 or 267, to hopping on the new Silver Line Metro! One of the newest additions: Lifetime Fitness! The management team is friendly and competent and the employees on site go out of there way to provide valuable customer service. I love living in Reston and I'm particularly thrilled to be living a TV St. Johns. No other complex comes close to the small, sense of community that they have achieved. Unless I hit the jackpot, I really don't believe I would live anywhere else in Reston!

I've live here for several years. And in general, even though the management has pumped in millions of dollars renovating the kitchens and bathrooms, the quality of life has deteriorated over time. I plan to move at my first opportunity. I can hear conversations of my neighbors through the walls....I don't need or want any of that!

I have been residing in St. John's Wood Community, for a few months. That has been enough for me to see how this difficult transition to settle in has been taken care of from the initiation application, through settling in completely. I have been very please with the on-going maintenance, on-call maintenance, the office administration and their manner of receiving me, all the way through fulfilling my request and/or needs. Every thing at all time, has risen the assurance of security and promptness towards my residency here. Well done, and Congratulations to the property and its' management team.

I have lived in SJW for a while now, and I really love living here. The neighborhood is beautiful, the landscaping is well done, and it is very quiet. I have had very positive experiences with the maintenance staff, who take care of everything quickly and politely. Melissa and Edward in the office are very helpful and fun. I have met the property manager who drives around in a busted up old van and I'm really not a fan of him, but some people can't be bothered to be friendly or polite. The gym is ok- has the basics to get a decent workout. I'd kill for a new treadmill that didn't shake all the time. The pool is clean and has a lifeguard, great for families. Our apartment is really sweet. I love the layout, love the woods that we see from our deck, love the walking trails that go through the neighborhood. It's not the most luxurious apartment complex I've ever lived in, but it's sweet.
