Overall I have been very pleased while living at the Preserve. However, when I wanted to explore relocating I discovered that I was locked into a 13 month lease rather than a 12 month lease as had been communicated to me in my welcome letter and all other communication. While I believe the leasing office is working with me to find a replacement tenant, it is an oversight I would have rather avoided.

Nice community overall. Sound issues not yet resolved and dog waste issues in common areas. Apartments are very roomy and well appointed. Lots of community activities. Utilities are very reasonable. Maintenance crew and office staff are excellent.

The Preserve has been nothing but accommodating. As a person in a wheelchair, there are a lot of things that I must consider when looking for an apartment and the Preserve took care of them all. I was able to get a first floor apartment that is completely accessible with roll up sinks and lower counters. They even modified the back parking lot to make it more accessible. The staff are always will to help and are great at responding in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this complex.

I'm new but so far, so good! Beautiful energy efficient units, awesome amenities, friendly considerate community (I barely hear my neighbors), work orders done the same day, indoor bike racks, free parking, free wifi in the common areas, and bus to MCV is across the street (GRTC #6 Willow Lawn - Downtown). It really looks as good as it does in pictures. Things of note- no dogs over 60 lbs; there's only one poop bag station, it's not on my side of the building so tenants aren't cleaning up and neither is management; cable/internet is Amtech, Direct TV, or Comcast; there are no overhead ceiling lights or fans but they will install yours free; and the parking lot can be full on weekend nights. But if the staff live here, it's a good sign. I think I'm sticking around =)

I have recently moved into this apartment, and have had nothing but good experiences while staying here. Any issues that were experienced initially were quickly resolved by the maintenance staff, and all staff members have been courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The Preserve at Scott's Addition is a wonderful apartment location. I've enjoyed living here so far... the apartment layout, the location, the service from the property manager and office personnel is great... very friendly and anxious to be helpful... It is a noisy area, but I don't mind it... I like living in the city!
